Brought 2 of the 99¢ Cupcakes at the Bakery today & they were Stale & Hard as a Rock and Tasted like a Dirty Refrigerator Case. Do NOT Buy the 99¢ Cupcakes. I brought the Red Velvet and Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes. NASTY AND STALE!!!

Your response is just as disingenuous as the glowing reviews on this site. Ive posted my complaint and Ive called the customer service line. At the end of my call, I received a reference number for my complaint. Yet, Elizabeth continues her behavior which lets me know Giant Food has not addressed the issue. This company does not care about its customers. My schedule is so busy, but as soon as I have the opportunity, I will find another pharmacy. This woman continues to withhold non-narcotic medication. I am guessing she does not want me to have extra. I am so disappointed with how little Giant Pharmacy cares about its customers, but I will continue sharing my experiences with anyone who will listen.I find the glowing reviews of this store disingenuous. On other sites, I have read many, many complaints. Here is my complaint, the pharmacist Elizabeth Nagallenes is consistently arrogant and antagonistic when dealing with certain customers. Last evening, I went to pick up a prescription. All pharmacists were immersed in counting pills. When Elizabeth heard my name, as I was speaking to the cashier, she made a point of coming to the window to have conversation. We have had an unpleasant encounter in the past. During that encounter, she came across as arrogant, condescending, and antagonistic at that time as well. Last evening, Elizabeth there was no good reason for her to stop, in the middle of count pills, and come to the window when she heard my name. The instructions were clearly printed on the prescribed medication. Still, I listened to her speak to me like I needed special attention. When she finished, I said okay and thank you, even though I find this womans tone and conduct reprehensible. She turned her back and, flippantly, said Okay then. I am not sure what she wanted to accomplish, but she only proved my valuation of her being arrogant and antagonistic.On a lighter note, all of the other pharmacists I have encountered have been kind, professional, and helpful.

Terrible pharmacy!!! I’ve calledMultiple times and I get no answer or after 15 min wait it hangs up. For the past 3 days I’ve been calling to see if my prescription has been filled yet and no answer! Customer service is no help!!! Horrible service. How is this business still standing!

I live in Bethesda, and shop at Arlington Road Giant. Yesterday, I was on a walk from Bethesda on 355 to Randolph Road to New Hampshire Ave. Silver Spring, Maryland. Before returning from there, I went into Giant to get bag peanuts and drink to boost my energy. I love my Giant.

Its a grocery store. Nothing special. They have a few organic items: salad, some cereal, some pasta. So that was nice. Do the self checkout if you can, they really have organized that well!

This is my go to store. Well stocked, clean and well run... I always get excellent service and products in the produce area, deli and seafood counters. I really appreciate the high quality of service in every area.

Had great prices on sale this week for fruit, meats and ice cream.

Convenient location. Parking lot gets conjested at times. Theres a capacity number posted but there hasnt been a line outside. My shopping experience has been pleasant and I have been able to get everything on my list. Associates have been very helpful. I appreciate the young mans assistance in getting the chips off the rack I couldnt reach. Check out lines move quickly.

Talk about exceptional customer service! I have not been to a giant that was so clean and well maintained. Dan collected my cart as I filled my car with groceries. Someone give the guy a raise! We love this giant!

Dont shop on Sundays. Today is apparently the day they pull a bunch of stuff to restock so a lot of products are missing from the shelves.

The management of this store has changed and their customer service is awful.They are rude and inconsiderate.If I could I would not give them even one star but that was my only option.Their corporate office is worse.No one will help you and for your concern they will reroute you back to the store and same people that were rude to you.I have to change my grocery store now after 20 years.

The staff is great and really helpful, the selection of plain food (fresh vegges and meat) in the store is not great, but there pretty good for pantry staples.

Always clean and mostly not crowded, but it is one of the smaller giants. You would not find phyllo dough at this giant for example.

Theyve a good selection and friendly staff, but giant is known for overpriced goods and this one is no exception. Not a poverty friendly branch whatsoever with the prices. Better off elsewhere if youre trying to save.

Carts are scattered not sure if they are disinfected no one to ask. Hardly any associates on the floor for assistance.

I hate having to shop for groceries! Fortunately, theres Giant Food for when I MUST be a grownup and shop for food. Always clean, well stocked, with regular sale prices, and friendly, helpful employees--they make it a good experience.

I go to this Giant for curbside pharmacy pick ups. They do not provide curbside grocery pick up so I use the Giant in White Oak and the Safeway in Olney for groceries because they have online ordering and curbside pickup.

Convenient in the community grocery store! They always have a wide selection of products, staff is always courteous and professional. Managers are very personable and meet to solve your questions and/or concerns with promptness. Best grocery store in the Silver Spring region hands down!

I love this store but I was so disappointed this Saturday 7/18. I was at the self checkout lane and needed help. The young African American man working there was standing over by the customer service desk I called for help and they were talking and laughing and ignored me. I literally had to scream out for him to help me. Theres another giant closer to my home, Ill just go there and not make the journey here for poor customer service.

Disaster I cannot find a manager or anybody to help or to ask because every time I came in there the phyllo dough Is always at and all a different spot or an aisle so I wasted like two minutes of my life trying to figure out where it is and how it is and again not a single person on site did you can ask where you can find a manager to ask anybody anything nothing disaster

A very clean store

Wide variety of everyday items at competitive prices. I dont have a family so dont shop at Costco or Sams. Giant has the foods I normally purchase, and the gas discounts are a nice added bonus. Produce is usually fresh.

As of March 26, 2019, this Giant store is undergoing a renovation and upgrade. Although work is still underway, its clear that they will be making better use of the space available, with a roomy produce department, refrigerator and freezer cases with doors and sensors, an enlarged deli, expanded self-checkout and just a more attractive store overall. Im not certain when the work will be completed but management has done a good job maintaining the shopping experience. Although items have been move around, the staff is attuned to recognizing and assisting shoppers who seem lost. This renovation was sorely needed and, when finished, will make for a better overall experience. But even with the ongoing work, dont hesitate to shop there.

This Giant got a total make over with clear aisles and lots of self checkout making it easy to go in and get out. The weekly deals are great in terms of price. Managers and staff are always prompt to assist Incase of need.

Not a fan since the Dutch took over. HT is so much better.

Slightly biased. I work here in the deli. Generally well-stocked. Sometimes we are out of cinnamon raisin hot dog buns but we always have some bread.

I went at night. Not a lot of people there so I was able to get in and out of there pretty fast.

Keep messing up our birthday cake orders. Will not order at this store anymore. Ordered a cake yesterday morning and went to pick up today and the order was not even processed. Our son will not have a custom made cake this year thanks to the incompetence of that staff member. What I like the most is how fast the checkout process is. Only reason why I keep coming is that it is not far from my place and also their checkout process is actually pretty fast.

Honestly many of the staff are decent, there just arent enough of them to handle the evening rush. Decent prices and selection. Convenient. The shopping center and maneuvering/parking situation is a real mess and the lot in front of the store is littered with carts left there by patrons.Im still a regular customer here.

Cant give ZERO stars... would if I could. I am not impressed with this store. We shopped there because it was close to the house and the self scanners were, or at least seemed to be a time saver.About our third visit while using the scanners and bagging our groceries we were noticeably followed by a security person throughout our visit. Very uncomfortable as she hovered over us and our cart. When we got to the check out to the cashier took our scanner and rung us up. Before we could pay the manager came over and asked to check a few items. No problem. He pulled 8 or 10 items from our bags and checked them. All were good. He then left and before we could complete our transaction returned and asked to re-scan our complete basket.Mind you we had already bagged our food and had it rung up and he checked several items to insure we had scanned everything.They proceeded to unbag everything and scan everything again. The total was the same.No apologies were offered. I dont like being accused of stealing. What is the point of the self scanners if youre going to re-ring everything at the checkout? Was not a time saver at all. Quality of their food, produce, and meats is mediocre at best.While I can understand re-scanning a few items as a check re-scanning the entire shopping cart absurd. Especially since the security person was so obviously following us through the store.I will never shop at a Giant again.

I live near this Giant grocery store. Anytime I need tea or bread,I just drive on over or walk if the weather is nice out. It’s always clean and well-stocked and the staff is always helpful.The self checkout is never long.Good store.

I hate giant overall. Employees in general Are helpful. They are much more expensive in general then going to Aldis or ShopRite. What really turn me off. Is the fact that they double the price of roses on? Valentines Day. They actually should be slashing the prices on them on Valentines Day for their customers. Only reason I shop there is because its only 2 minutes away from where I live Otherwise I would not be coming at all.

The staff here is super friendly and they have a good supply and variety. It doesnt seem to get too crowded like some stores do which is really nice. Im not a fan of spending my morning waiting in line at the grocery store.

My neighborhood Giant. A smaller store but quicker to get shopping done than in a large flagship store. Less than a mile from my house. Love running into people I know in the neighborhood.

Every Dept is well stock organized and fresh.I like the fact your promoting strawberry Perrier,I ve been drinking Perrier for over 40 years.The doors within perishable areas is a great idea it keeps merchandise from spoiling well preserved.I use to work in Fruit and Produce years ago,I know who important to keep Produce and Fruits well refrigerated.

Picked up my prescription. They have a new system of electronic tags. Instead of fumbling through bins of filled prescriptions, they key your name into the computer, and the clip holding your prescription lights up. No time lost looking for your prescription. Makes a big difference when there is a long waiting line.

Used to shop here about ten years ago, standards were high here then. The store is no where near that now. Some staff is pleasant, but service is not a priority neither is overall cleanliness.Update..... the bathrooms are gross, disgusting. The condition was the same on visits weeks apart, four times. Vile conditions I’m surprised people have not gotten horribly ill from this store. Health department should inspect!
