Its a small shop, but the bagels are freaking awesome and Im so glad I went! I had their seasonal maple bagel with the maple cream cheese, and it was so perfect. The cream cheese wasnt as sweet as expected and had a hint of (what I thought was) coffee, which was a super treat! You order first and pay at the end. They also have bagel sandwiches too. Staff were in great spirits and moving fast! Dont forget the pastry case by the registers either!!

A morning ritual/requirement. Speedy service, except when cashing out. The cashier shouldnt have to make the coffees for everyone.

Vermont Bagel Co has one of the biggest and best bagels around. I like to get the Farm Stand which comes with bacon, turkey and apple. Staff are also super nice. To avoid the line, I recommend calling in your order ahead of time. They usually only need 10-15 minutes lead time. In addition to bagels, their pastries are to die for, especially the sugar cookies.

I have stopped in several times since discovering this place. Their bagels and breakfast sandwiches are very good! One of these days I will make it there for lunch.

A life without fresh bagels closeby is not a life worth living! Basically. The sandwiches are thick, freshly made, and properly stuffed so far. I hope for consistency. There is nothing better than reliable good food that doesnt adapt to worse just because its possible.

This place has some of the best bagels around. And I can get in and out of here quickly even during busy hours.

Best part of coming Vermont is having these bagel sandwiches for breakfast. I would say this is the perfect spot to start off the day. They have a great variety of bagel sandwiches along with being able to add other things that you may want. Staffs were also extremely nice and friendly.

Great bagels - large variety that regularly rotates - and a smaller but mighty selection of cream cheese. I would like the veggies in the veggie cream cheese were a bit large, but the taste was great and the bagels are good quality. One of the better bagel shops in the area.

Avoid this place like the plague. Imagine watching six or seven people make bagels while one person runs the register. The line is around the corner even for pickup orders. The bagel is just a bagel, but youre going to spend 25-30 minutes in line waiting for it, even if you called in. Hire some managers that understand how to run a business. What a joke.

The maple bagel was the bomb. Flavorful & sweet bagel with the breakfast special. Very tasty. I will make time to go there again soon.

The bagels here were delicious. With a large selection, more than 20 bagels and 10 cream cheeses. The interior is clean and the bathrooms are fancy. The staff are friendly and helpful. We accidentally underpaid for one of the bagels, and when we contacted the staff about this, they said it was generous of us and that we wouldnt have to pay the extra for being honest. 5/5 Would love to live near this place.

The ladies this time seemed to have it together, but the young man working behind the counter was a sloth, he took my order and only handed me half after just standing there zooned out and watching the line walk past home rather then attempting to help anyone. The women were working in circles around him.I thought I would give this place another try, but I was immediately reminded why I dont come here.

LOVE THIS PLACE. The atmosphere is upbeat but quiet. Its SO clean and tidy without feeling sterile. Great wifi. The coffee is so delicious! Made just right. My only wish is that theyll start keeping some gluten-free bagels in the freezer so theres something besides a Chefs Salad for gluten-free guests!

Had a very disturbing experience. A coworker of mine stopped in a few days ago to get sandwiches (we were staying in town for work) and the way the worker made her feel is absolutely disgusting. It’s one thing to be visiting a town that lacks diversity, but to feel like an inconvenience is another. My coworker was made to feel that she was not wanted even though she was a paying customer. Absolutely disgusting to treat others the way you do. So if you are a person of color I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere because you won’t be welcomed here. You are a bagel store, so to tell a customer “you should call ahead if you’re going to order a lot of sandwiches” when it was only FOUR is horrible customer service.

Pretty damn good but as a jersey boy their bagels could be bigger, they season them well and all the sandwiches are made really well. However their eggs arnt made from a pan, didnt make much of a difference to me.

Went here for breakfast sandwiches and was pretty disappointed. The eggs are like those on a McDonalds breakfast sandwich and it seems they precook all their meats and then heat them up in a subway style toaster oven - not cooked on a griddle fresh like youd expect. Not real breakfast sandwiches at all. Bagels were okay and coffee was tasty.

This was my first time there.i had maple bagel with peanut butter which was great..I also took home a maple doughnut and a cream filled...I put the bag on the counter at home where I was sitting and could smell a odd smell..So I put the bag away from me and could smell the same smell after that.. any ways I went in a while later to have coffee and the cream doughnutand the taste was not so great i could not eat it .but all in all the place was comfortable..sorry for the bad review on this..

This is our new favorite bagel place. Beats out bagel market for bagels and cream cheese flavors and is on par with there sandwiches.

Just went in to Vermont Bagel to buy lunch. It cost me 18$ . I bought a Chicken salad sandwich. There was hardly and Chicken salad on the sandwich. Mostly lettuce and tomato. I did not order a veggie sandwich.So I decide to call the store to report to them the problem. A few minutes later the owner calls me back. After I explain to him I had called and reported what I had told the first person I talked to. He then excuses me of yelling at his girl. That never happened. You take a chance on spending 18$ on a bad meal! 1 star is generous.

I enjoy the sandwiches, salads and soups here. Even when theres a line its always a pretty quick grab when Im short on time. I have noticed recently that they have cut portions with the salads they make so as much as I enjoy them Ive stopped getting them because Im still hungry afterwards.

Food was great but the service was questionable--I ordered one bagel with flavored C.C. and another bagel just straight up, in a bag. Got to the register and SHOWED the cashier the straight up, not even cut or wrapped bagel and when I got my receipt after paying, I saw she charged me for two 3.00 bagels w/ flavor C.C. instead of an .80 cent bagel.Quite disappointed

I raved about this place when they first opened ... its not anything AMAZING. but it’s not BAD... the young ladies up front however would be on the CON list for the store when you walk up a greeting/smile or any acknowledgment Is non exsistant . There’s one young lady that trumps them ALL with the grumpy I don’t want to be here face she has dark thin long hair and she’s not as thin as the other girls ( no name tags) she’s a grinch ... as for the food I did find a blonde hair ( I have short dark brown hair ) in one of my sandwiches at the last second totally grossed out !! Hair nets should be used without a doubt ... then there’s the FAKE egg which you get a huge slab off on your sandwich not impressed.. bagel selection great meat quality great .
