When I first met JD we immediately hit it off because he is a very likable people person. JD showed me of some of the tables that he had custom built for his customers so far, it is an amazing portfolio and I immediately knew I wanted him to build me on of my own custom creation. He invited my wife and I to his shop and introduced us to his partner Michael and they gave us a tour of their shop and showed us some of the beautiful tables being built for other customers all in different stages of completion, what a professional setup, I was really impressed. They showed us all the different types woods available and recommended a few we picked one out that we really liked And started to put the layout together it was that easy, my wife and I were very happy being able to be involved in the process. Once we had discussed all the options they gave us a great price and we immediately signed the contract and gave them the deposit. Several weeks later they finished on time and delivered and set up the table right in our dining room. We gladly paid the balance and have been enjoying our new table every day since.I look forward to doing business with JD and Michael again soon as we now want live edge benches made for our new table, can’t wait to see how that looks!

I worked with Mike S. at Live Edge Lumber to have a custom table made. It was an unusual, custom build using old growth quarter-sawn white oak and a photos I found on the internet. The entire table was made from 3 large boards that came from a single tree. The end result is stunning, unique and exactly what I had hoped for. Fabulous job!

WOW!!! I happened to see a couple of examples of their work on Facebook, so I reached out to see if I could stop by their shop to check it out in person, as I was looking for a new dining table. When I first met Mike and JD at the Live Edge Lumber Company I KNEW that I was talking to the right guys! Their passion for what they do is clear...they REALLY love what they do, they are TRUE craftsmen and artists, and theyre GREAT people as well!! I had the pleasure of seeing some of their works in progress, along with the MASSIVE amount of raw, yet-to-be-used materials, and it was VERY impressive! After talking for a bit, Mike directed me to a few pieces that he thought would work for what I wanted; however, he couldnt have been more WRONG! Work for what I wanted? It turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!
