The butterflies were amazing.The birds were pretty cool.The museum was really cool.The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.Its not cheap but of youre into worth it.We showed up late and only had a couple of hours. Which was enough time to make it through all the exhibits. Although, it would have been nice to be able to take our time.

Delightful morning at Butterfly World ! The butterflies and birds were from countries all over the world, and the both the butterflies and the birds were exquisite. Each area was peaceful and the center was not crowded on a Friday morning. Parking was easy. We had a coupon for two for one admission as well. Highly recommend !

I had a great time here! The gardens were beautiful and there were a ton of butterflies. The different exhibits were well laid out and easy to navigate. If you are a AAA member you get about $5 off per ticket. I recommend wearing bug spray to avoid the mosquitoes. The only exhibit with air conditioning is the bug world, so be sure to bring plenty of water too. I highly recommend a visit to Butterfly World!

Honestly, probably one of the coolest places I’ve been to in SoFlo. If you got the time, it is without a doubt going to be a memorable experience.P.S. pay the $2 to feed the birds in the aviary. It was my favorite movie part

This was my first time visiting. It was very clean, plenty of parking space, I didnt get the $5.00 off admission price but thats okay. I got some nice little souvenirs. I love how the souvenirs werent crazy priced. I think I got three different things. All pink with butterflies on them. I went alone and it was still an amazing experience. Will definitely go again. 🦋🙂💛

What a wonderful place cant wait to go back there. Unfortunately it rained 20 minutes after we got there. Nevertheless they gave us a rain check, so that we can go back on a good day and enjoy the place. Found out that I have a butterfly with my first name.

Butterfly World was such an amazing experience. They have so many fifteenth beautiful butterfly sanctuaries. There is a large variety of butterflies as well as many amazing plants and flowers. There was various other wildlife including 2 bird sanctuaries. So much wildlife and butterflies everywhere. The birds were really awesome too. The giftshop is huge and has everything you could imagine. This is definitely a fun family experience. You can even purchase your own cocoon and help a butterfly hatch. I highly reccomend this place for kids, adults, and large parties. We had a blast visiting and will return in the future.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I highly recommend it. The staff is great. and I could spend hours in here. on any given day there are 20,000 butterflies on the first 2 aviaries as well as birds on the other 3.If you live locally, so yourself a favor and get a yearly pass. its worth it in my opinion. they have a little cafe that sells food,snacks and drinks. and I highly recommend you try feeding the Lorikeets. there is a separate $2 fee for that but its worth it. I live within walking distance and I come here 2-3 times a week. I will never get bored here

With kids its a 1-2 hr experience. For adults it could be longer just relaxing on a bench watching butterflies. There is a large playground outside- bring lunch and the kids can easily play there for a long time before or after the butterflies as well...Beautiful items in gift shop. Snacks, drinks and ice cream Available at the cafe. The walks with the butterflies are absolutely incredible. Its surreal.Birds in the aviaries are very interesting to look at. The lorikeets can be fed in their aviary for a couple dollars.The bug museum has tons of mounted bugs to look at and there is also a lab where they are hatching caterpillars and butterflies.Very interesting and entertaining.

Took my nephews and niece here, as part of the Adventure Pass being offered right now (along with Flamingo Gardens and Sawgrass Recreational Park). The kids had a lot of fun and I must admit, I did too. Lots of birds to see, all kinds of butterflies of course. Mostly shaded except for the bridge and pond area, so isnt too bad in the summer heat.

What a nice way to spend a morning near Boca! I really enjoyed watching the birds and the butterflies and different flora. Ticket prices were just a little too expensive for the small conservatory— would have loved to see more for the price.

A magical place, but a lot smaller of an area that I expected it to be. We loved seeing all of the butterflies up close! So many beautiful and diverse species! The macaws were really cool to see as well. The bugs on display were also so eye-opening to what diversity exists around the world.$34 for an adult was a little expensive but I can see why since there would be a lot of maintenance. Amazing experience and great staff.

The best place I have ever visited for butterflies better than all the zoo’s. They have many different types all sharing the same very large enclosure with lots of plants and water features. You feel like you are in a fairytale with all the butterflies surrounding you at all times. Some of them will even land on you and hang out for a while why your looking around.

We have heard about Butterfly World for awhile, but did not have an opportunity to visit until now. And it does not disappoint! The only issue I had, is the Pandemic restrictions. Not their fault, so, all is good.Very friendly, informative, well staffed. Understand rules and regulations are in place for a reason. Respect is key. It allows an enjoyable and continuous experience for all. Plenty of butterflies, birds, bugs, trees, flowers to meander around. Trees, bushes, vines, seeds, larvae to purchase to take home.We loved the experience and was not disappointed at all.Visit and be whisked away.

Our family had a really nice time at butterfly world! There were so many awesome looking butterfly’s to look at! We even saw a butterfly hatch from a cocoon - so cool!Another hi-light was the bird cage where we could feed parakeets. Very fun experience.

Beautiful park overall; a nice place if you need to Zen for a bit and relax in nature. Otherwise, admission is overpriced and the park size is very small for what you pay for (it took us maybe 45 minutes to see everything). Some areas could use a little touchup and more lighting (Bug Museum). OK to see once, but cant see myself coming back here anytime soon.

Its pretty pricey for what you get. It takes about a half hour to walk through the entire exhibit. My big mistake was bringing young children with my wife any myself as they were very bored. There were some cool things to see and yes, butterflies are flying all around but definitely not worth the time and money.

My boyfriend and I were visiting while on vacation. We were initially not going to come, due to the price of admission. Luckily, while we were in town, they were running a 50% off special which made it much more affordable and reasonable. The gardens are beautiful, but not nearly as breathtaking as the butterflies and birds. This whole experience was definitely one to remember. Tons of picture opportunities!The downsides:You had to wear a mask the ENTIRE time. Even though the majority of the park is completely outside. It was 90 degrees while we were there and I was literally dying. I couldn’t breath and my face was extremely sweaty.Also, I personally don’t think it would have been worth the money for full price admission, yes it was amazing, but not for almost $70 for the two of us.Overall, it was a great time. I truly don’t think you could be disappointed with this experience!!

Such a fun experience and something that you get lost in. The time flew by faster than the flittering butterflies around us. So much color and designs on the different species. And the flower gardens were just as brilliant as the butterflies. We ran out of time to explore everything and I cant wait to go back again.

Brought a friend here and we both loved it. There’s different enclosures for bird habitats on top of the large open butterfly area. They have calming music playing in the background of the butterfly area and its an overall awesome experience!

This place is beautiful and very much worth the trip. Give yourself some time to meditate and relax in a quiet corner of the park.

We had a beautiful day exploring Butterfly World. Staff were very helpful. Social distancing was done so well by everyone. Felt very safe. Beautiful gardens loads of different varieties of butterflies. We really enjoyed feeding the lorikeets. The bug and insect museum was super interesting. So many amazing butterflies. Butterfly Worlds cafe and bathrooms all very clean.Service was excellent. Can’t wait to head back again. We even got to take home our very own butterflies! We will definitely be visiting again.

It is so beautiful walking thru the garden where thousands of butterflies are flying all around you. There are so many different colors and sizes of them. The plants and flowers and colorful finches are also great to see. Wonderful place for kids & adults. If you have someone visiting, bring them there, you will not regret it...🦋🦜🦋

Super well kept. Clean and animals look happy (yes even butterflies can look happy). My daughter and I had a great time. Cant wait till the playground right outside of it opens back up so my daughter can play there after our visits. With butterfly world and the playground I can really tire her out so when we get home she will nap and mommy can get a little me time.

A wonderful place to go explore with a fellow nature lover. I took my mom for her birthday and we absolutely loved it. Theres so much to see, so much to learn, and the whole experience is beautiful and relaxing. Feeding the exotic birds nectar right of your hands and having them all flock to you is super cool. I very much enjoyed my visit to Butterfly. Its right off the FL Turnpike and also easy to get back onto it when leaving. Naturally they have a plethora of butterflies, but they have much more too including a few aviaries. Actually the highlight of my visit was the lorikeets and feeding them with nectar. There is also a gift shop and a cafe though at the moment the cafe is temporarily closed.

Butterflies were beautiful. Kids got to feed birds. Would have been nicer to have more interaction with different species and be able to feed more species. Gift shop was a bit pricey. Staff were lovely.

Beautiful place!! My daughter love butterflies and she loved it we bought a summer pass to go when ever we want. It is amazing to see a lot of butterfly in different colors and sizes. My daughter was very amazed with the butterflies. They also have parrots, a museum where they have all different kinds of insects that comes from different places, they sell plants, they have a store and even they have garden and they have where you pay $2 to give food to little parrots. Its very nice and beautiful place to spend time with the family. I recommended 100% for little girls that loves butterflies.

If your down here staying on the beach it may be a little ways out but it is well worth the trip. Absolutely beautiful experience. I would come back in a heartbeat. Its so rare to have the opportunity to see so many butterflies up close. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to butterfly world for as long as I can remember and now i have the pleasure of sharing it with my own children. It’s beautifully landscaped, lush with flowers and gorgeous photo spots all while hundreds of butterflies and beautiful birds fly around you. It’s on the smaller side and if there are too many visitors on a certain day, the walkways have the potential to get a little cramped, but if you go during the week, it’s usually very nice and everyone is pretty respectful of each others space. It’s so relaxing, informational and even has a great gift shop with chrysalises to take home so you can watch your butterfly grow and release them at your own backyard.

Great activity for young kids. There were a lot more butterflies than I expected. My 3 year old was loving every second in there. She also loved the bug zoo. Staff was very friendly!

We loved it. So many beautiful colors of butterflies in constant flight all around you as you stroll through. Also pretty birds in the bird area. We spent a leisurely two hours but you can go at a faster pace if you want. Easy walking. Nice gift shop but I think prices were high. They have a snack shop. There is a nice park and I wish we had taken a picnic lunch and chairs.

I went as a chapperone for my daughter school and we had Ali as our tour lady. She was everything !! Patient with all 17 students. She was very informative and educated on everything while keeping a staggering energy. Loved her. Overall loved all the staff and the experience was beautiful ❤️ I will be returning with my family really really soon along with the free pass that was also given to us. Such a cute place! There were so many butterflies, it was almost magical! The only downside was that there was no social distancing once inside and not many people kept their masks on.

A bit expensive considering the Miami Zoo is only $22, but it was neat to see all the butterflies 🦋 all around you. Spent several hours wandering through the butterflies, flowers, birds. Gift shop with all things butterfly.

It has beautiful gardens and separate aviaries that you can walk through, filled with a large variety of beautiful butterflies. They also have another garden filled with different colored tropical birds and a garden with tropical flowers. On top of this, youre able to go in to another aviarie to feed and have an actual encounter with a Lori or Lorikeet....both are very colorful tropical birds.

I left with a peaceful state of mind. Gardens are full of a variety of butterflies flying around you. So cute! Interacting with birds in a natural habitat while you sit & listen & enjoy their blissful chirping is so relaxing. Theres a museum of insects, a snack bar, gift shop, they sell plants, restrooms are clean, wheelchair accessibility throughout the gardens, employees are informative and pleasant to talk to. Strongly recommend. The kids will love this place and so will you. I spent only 2hrs there (end of day) & didnt notice how quickly time passed.

This is definitely a hidden jewel. What a great place for anyone but especially families. What a beautiful place. The butterflies and all the flowers are gorgeous. The have bird aviaries too and a bug museum of live and preserved bugs. About an hour and a half is fair but there are benches throughout if you want to pause longer here and there.

Drove 40 minutes to come here with my 2yearold and it was definitely worth the drive! It was blazing hot! But we both really enjoyed ourselves! Beautiful scenery to see. Dress accordingly and stay hydrated!!staff was nice and we had a wonderful time!
