If you are really serious about getting your license for business this is the place to go. Fay is outstanding and knows how to prepare you with every fine detail. There is so much work and she really covers it quickly. The class is absolutely necessary I took it for about 6 months until she told me I was ready and I passed first try. You can try to do it faster or slower everyone has their own pace. I also used daniela for my application process and she was on top of everything. She guided me and was informing of all paperwork and things I needed and always answered my emails and questions right away. Lets just say I havent been in school for over 25 years and I was very afraid going into this but Faye has made it very comfortable and has build my confidence in achieving is in achieving becoming a general contractor. I used 1 Exam prep through a friends recommendation as my first attempt to get my contractor license in the state of FL. One exam prep is a professional company with great friendly knowledgeable employees to help you walk through the exam process. Most dishonest company. They will con you into tutoring, charge you hundreds of dollars and then cancel all of your sessions. I have 3 associates that started with them and then cancelled immediately. Nothing about this company is legitimate. Salesperson who handled my transaction changed the class dates and has a criminal record! There are much better options from many other GCs I know. Look elsewhere!

I purchased the Pre-Tabbed and Highlighted rental package for Plumbing for $1000 on top of a $1000 refundable down payment, this may have been the single best purchase of my entire life. What you get is all the prepared resources youll need for your exam for 6 months plus 6 months of tutoring lessons that take place on their scheduled days every week. Personally, the Plumbing class was pretty worthless and the lack of an included Isometric course is disappointing. This is at no fault of the professor, whom is great and very helpful. What youre truly paying for here is the Business and Finance course taught by Fay Bamond. This course alone is what I attribute to passing my exam on the first try with a 90%. Best exam prep school out there.

Couple of tips-- Study the flash cards that are given to you, highlight & tab the book the way she tells you to, & take the practice tests multiple times-- if you follow her method you will pass! They even have online classes due to COVID -- this was great for an introvert like myself. The more online classes you take the better you will be prepared for the test. Called in to schedule classes and purchase books needed for such classes. I throughly explained which classes I needed. I was misled on which books I needed. I spent $700 on books. After finishing the classes, I scheduled for the test. It was then I was told I didnt need all those books. I have tried on more than one occasion to get refund on the books and have been told I would only receive a fraction of what I paid. So to all reading this...be aware!!!

I highly recommend 1 Exam Preps Test Preparation Program.From the book tabs to the testing samples but most importantly the staff support from instructor Fay Bamond.I tried to prepare myself the 1st month by just reading the books and doing self-tests but soon became overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information I thought I was going to have to memorize.Than for 4 1/2 months I participated with Fays study group where she taught a unique approach of not trying to memorize answers but learn pathways of how to find the answers. I joined both weekly and monthly classes and just followed the program. I booked Fay for some private tutoring which really helped me sharpen and evaluate my approach to the test, that was money will worth spending and Im sure helped improved my test score.The Florida test is not an easy test to pass but this program works if you work it. I know because I recently took the exam and passed it the first time with an excellent score.

The virtual study and testing platform is very comprehensible and absolutely an essential study tool for the exam prep. The professional staff was always responsive and available to answer any questions in regards to professional testing. Once I passed all 3 required tests, I added the application package. Horrible. Please learn from our experience and do not use this place! They will tell you anything you want to hear to make a sale. Whether it was on purpose, or out of not having the proper knowledge I dont know. In the end it really doesnt matter, but if I could save even one person from wasting their time and money with this place, great! First of all, they sold books that werent even needed, the classes are a joke (only went to two) and the sales people have no idea the experience actually needed when promising results. Second of all their application service is a JOKE. They are completely incompetent and inexperienced. If you look you will see several other reviews on how horrible their application service is. This service was paid for just to get a letter from the county stating it was incomplete and incorrect. Not only that but when calling to alert them with this and ask them to fix it not only did the not make their wrongs right, but they actually stopped returning phone calls and emails! At least 7 emails we have sent and several phone calls have not been returned. I understand mess ups, we are human, but the decent thing to do is communicate with your paying customers and at least try to make it right. Waste of almost 2000 dollars and almost a entire year with this company, please go elsewhere, dont let this happen to you!

The Business Class at 1 Exam Prep was thourough and detailed. The best part was the live class instruction with instructor Fay Bammond. She took the time to break everything down into smaller chunks and explain really deep concepts into ordinary language. This company is a complete scam. They are selling their online learning program as an interactive program, that is easy to use. It is scanned practice tests with answers on the back. There around 40 units. The first 10 units was test taking strategies (I found the original videos for FREE on youtube with no credit to owner), and how to navigate the course.As soon as I noticed how terrible their program was I requested a refund. They offered no support and it took me 30 minutes of talking just to receive a partial refund. Their sales rep Ricky/Ricardo wont allow me to speak to anyone else. He says in the office their is only 5 other sales reps, and no supervisors. What kind of company is this? It is basically a scam! Avoid at all costs. I looked up their business on sunbiz.com and found the registered agent. I called that number, and he had just sold it to some investors.. He gave me their contact info, and I was blocked by all of them.AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I used this service for help studying for my Florida, General Contractor and Solar Contractor exams. I signed up for the rental service where I received all pre-tabbed books. Total I needed 18 books for the two tests. Included with this were online classes taught by Fay, who in detail teaches a gridding system that is crucial to efficiently passing these exams. With very minimal studying time I was able to pass both exams in one day well above the minimum required score. If I could give 6 stars I would.

I purchased the study material (online printable study material, virtual Zoom instructional class, pre-tabbed and highlighted books) in March 2020. It took a little less than a month to receive the books. Once I had all the books, I started with the Zoom classes for the Business and Finance exam with Faye. She does an amazing job of helping you learn how to use the books and quickly be able navigate through text. It is important to stay engaged in the class and follow along each step. After about 3 months of studying 12-40 hours a week, I took the exam and passed on my first attempt.The 2nd exam - Contract Admin - is taught by Andrea. I did not prep as much for that exam as I did for the previous. But I did spend about 15-20 hours a week for 4 weeks studying for that exam. Passed on my first attempt. There is a lot of overlap in material from the Business and Finance exam and the Contract Admin. So, the instructors at 1ExamPrep do prepare you for the exams well - just be committed and practice, practice, practice.

No where on their site and by talking with them do they tell you that you need at least 4 years construction experience to qualify. I spent close to $2,300.00 on Residential Contractor books. My own fault!

OEP has a foolproof method and great instructors. I have taken another course from competitor GCoast and it pales in comparison. The OEP teachers are prepared and passionate, willing to work with each student until the student feels confident. I used One exam prep for two different licenses a total of 4 exams and I passed all my exams. I hold two state licenses now and will use them for 3rd. They are worth the money. I did a Tutoring session also two days before my exam which was also worth it.

They have a really nice classroom. Their instructors are actually licensed contractors. Their online courses are also really use to use and have a ton of test questions. I even saw test questions they put together from recent Florida contractor exam questions. Highly recommend.

I used this company to fill out all my paperwork to file with state to get my hvac contractors license.Miss Sunday helped me every step of the way. Always great communication to the point where I thought I was driving her crazy. But no matter what she answered every email and phone call and there was a lot. Let me start by saying something positive, the tutoring is Awesome! However, do not use these people to get your license!!!!!!!! Sunday Phillips is horrible. She is very rude and disrespectful to clients. She process everything at her convenience. It took her 4 months to process my application ( that was not even the state having it). Then she messed up my application that she submitted to the state, which delayed the process even longer. I now have my license after I had to fix her mess with the state! I called the company numerous times to complain about her attitude and the time frame of the process but no one could manage to respond to me. This was definitely not worth the money I spent. It was the worst experience I have ever paid money for!!!!

I am not one to Wright reviews, but the attitude on the employee named Sunday is by far the worst I have received from someone I have paid to do a service. Rob and the staff were helpful but nothing can compensate for the horrible experience of having to deal with her. Having her as an employee will definitely hurt the business.

Out of all the companies and businesses I have had to work with during the course of getting my license, this company gave me the absolute worst experience of my entire life. I initially received several phone calls from different people at the company while I was preparing to take my exams offering their different services, I ended up deciding from their sales calls to use them to prepare/process my application once I had taken the tests. I called the salesman named Peter the very next day after passing my second exam and told him I was ready to have them do my application. I paid on the spot and was told that someone would be contacting me shortly to get all the information she needed to do my application. Two business days and the weekend went by and I never heard them. The following week I called the main line to find out what was going on. They talked like they had absolutely no knowledge of my $300 service I had already paid for and also informed me that the person processing my application was going on vacation and it would take at least another week before she would even look at it. AT THIS POINT I DEEPLY, DEEPLY REGRET NOT DEMANDING A FULL REFUND!!! Instead, I gave the company a chance to do what I paid them to do which was expedite my application process after filling out the 27 page document for me using all the information required, which I promptly gave to them the same day every time I was asked for any of it. Weeks turned into over a month of emailing, calling, calling, calling and leaving messages, calling two or three different peoples numbers just to get someone to pick up and waiting days for responses to find out where they were at with my application. At one point I did finally demand a refund and for them to just forget the whole thing but of course I got nowhere. Once they finally had my application completed they chose to then tell me I needed to send them a check written to the state so that they could put my application in the mail. THIS WAS SOMETHING ANYONE COULD HAVE TOLD ME FROM DAY ONE TO DO. Instead, I had to wait a week after putting my check in the mail the same day for it to arrive in their mailbox so that they could put my application in the mail STILL TWO DAYS LATER AFTER THEY RECEIVED IT!!!!!! This was absolutely the most disgusting service I have ever paid such an exorbitant cost to have performed for me. I literally cannot even describe how disgusted I am with 1 exam prep. I would’ve been better off doing the application myself wrong two or three times before paying them to waste so much time after passing my exam that I could have used making money after getting my license, which I know I could’ve done.

I got a 90% my first attempt on the test. All of the 1 Exam Prep staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Glad I found this company!

I dont usually leave reviews - but my experience with 1ExamPrep was awful. The service and communication were terrible, and I was lied to several times. I would stay as far away as possible.

I only used 1exam prep for the licensing application process, but they were helpful and friendly and I got my license within 3 weeks. Daniela was exceptional. I definitely recommend this service for anyone feeling anxious about filling out the applications

If I could put 0 stars I would. Do NOT use this company to process your contractors application. Horrible communication, the representative, Sunday, did not ask the correct questions right from the beginning. She told us we did NOT need a business credit report since we are a new business and our license was held up for that exact reason. They are not thorough, they are completely inefficient, and I could have done a better job myself. Dont waste your money. If you want someone to process your application, do your research, and find someone who explains everything in detail and asks you questions about your business. After all, its your livelihood on the line. 0 stars for customer service, 0 stars for streamlining of the process, and 0 stars for efficiency with the service. If youre starting a business, dont operate it like 1 Exam Prep runs theirs.

I took the Plumbing class which is not really a class. You go in the room and do some drawing and have a good day. This class was no help at all. I had questions about a math problem and the instructor had no idea how to solve it, I had a question about isometric elevation, again, no idea. I brought up to Rob that a lot of the answers for the questions on the practice test exam were referenced to the wrong page and the answer I got was...we try really hard to keep it accurate we dont have enough people to help. I wasted my money and time. I am currently looking for another plumbing prep class. Friendly people, but there is a lack of organization and material update.

Hello I’m having a great experience with trying to get registered online through Chris Iberico at the Coconut Creek building I also was a little confused because I had gotten a email from Charlie Bennett from a different contact number So hopefully in the future The issue will get resolved

I looked and compared all the prep exam sites and read all their reviews. I picked this one, and I passed my contractors exam. It was a simple system, yet lengthy. If you take the time and put in the work required, these guys will help you. And the customer service was great. They would contact me with 15 mins of me sending an email. Thank you so much guys!

Don’t waste your money. Highlighting and tabbing guides are hard to follow. Questions on online prep course have wrong answers. Math practice questions don’t have all of the information you need to answer the questions.The videos were irrelevant because they were so old. No one gets back to you when you ask questions. Rob, the one I finally talked to, was rude and unprofessional.

9 months, and 3 tests later, WALLAH!, license in HAND.They did everything they said they would, and MORE.Great Staff, coaches, and teachers.

I took the master plumber with gas along with business & law, followed their instructions passed them both 1st. time. Saved close $2900 in prep classes. They know what they are doing. They make it easy enough for my 11 yo daughter to pass.

Best exam prep course out there! Robs instructions on tabbing and highlighting are right on. Plenty of practice questions and the test taking techniques videos helped me pass all by themselves! Tom was very helpful and was always there when I needed him. The material given at this school are very close to what appears on the test. The online classes were also a big help if I did not understand something. I recommend this place to anyone who is prepping for an exam.

I give 1 start because their is not option to give a 0....This is a fraud, a lady called Neddy from this office sold to us 2,500 questions to study for the business and finance test, she only sent 1,200 and never sent the rest of the question. When we tried to contact her she hung up the phone and offer no solutions. Also, we contact via e-mail Alan Kane and he offered no solutions. Be careful people, they are not honest.

Listen people... I have been in the construction industry in S. Florida for over 40 years. I paid 1 Exam Prep a fair price, received MORE than I paid for and passed my tests for GC the first time out! Yeah, I am a smart businessman... Thats why I chose 1 EXAM PREP!!! They are the best and if you have a problem it is most likely the guy in the mirror...NOT these folks here that do their job better than the rest!

The instructor allowed the class to engaged in conversation that allowed each students to ask questions for reassurance of their answers, positive feedbacks were given and an explanation was given as to why the chosen answer was correct or not.

I am very happy I choose One Exam Prep. The whole process was a great experience. The classes are convient and have multiple times and days to choose for everyone’s schedule. The teachers are awesome and know what they are talking about too. Rob is really cool and always checks in at every class to answer any questions and check in on everyone. Carlos walked me through the whole process and was very professional. When it came to the application process, Daniela was also very professional and got the job done. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. It took the company two months to send me all of the books I order in the full package, and on request to speak with management I was completely ignored. DO NOT PURCHASE THE ONLINE REVIEW. It is not in PDF form, and must be completed in modules being zero help as you are trying to highlight your books. Gigantic waste of $1700 of my companies money. STAY AWAY!

HVAC warm air B class.. why do I have to spend 5 months tabbing and highlighting the business books when I havent BEGUN to study for the test? I have 1 year of accessibility to their online courses and over a hundred days have passed while I highlight page after page when all other competing companies offer to send this matirial PRE-TABBED AND HIGHLIGHTED!!,:(??. Tis is also at no extra cost but now Im over 2 grand deep and cant turn back. I said I wanted to send back the other side of the books to get help with this and they said ya, we can do that for an extra $600.. ID LIKE TO STUDY. Also cant get a refund Im totally stuck with this investment and am very unhappy.. thats not even the word for it Im screwed and any other company I went with would have treated me right. I want to go into business for myself because of companes like this!!!
