Recently purchased the i10 and flex fit 3 from the coconut creek location in south Florida. The sales associate -Margie- was extremely knowledgeable when describing the differences between each product especially when I expressed the discomforts and pains I felt while I slept or when exiting my current bed setup. Margie was not forceful and did not attempt to push me into a sale. I felt at peace and trusted the information she presented to me. Her humbleness and complete care for myself as a customer was the driving point for my purchase. I felt as if nothing could go wrong and I look forward to receiving my setup in a few short weeks; possibly the quickest turnaround for delivery in a long time. Thank you very much Margie and I look forward to referring business to your organization and I also look forward to another purchase in the near future.
A friend of mine bought a new Sleep Number Bed and just raved about it. So I researched them and finally found a store and tried it for myself. I was amazed at how little pressure I felt from the bed (and the salesperson).Ill re-review the bed after I get it and sleep on it for a while, but the store is very nicely laid out and the salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about the bed.
Be prepared for a very scripted conversation. . . When i asked about promotions current and immediate future, there was some confusion. They claimed they had no idea of anything in the future(i looked online and there is one next week). Then two of the associates couldnt agree on the current promotion, so. . . The sleep number near me didnt have the most experienced ppl. I strongly recommend doing ALL research on your own and only go in to try beds out.

My husband and I came in as we’ve been talking about buying a new mattress and we wanted to get a little bit more information on the different sleep number mattresses that would work for us. From the moment we walked in, Maria greeted us and made us feel extremely welcomed. She took us throughout the store and answered all of our questions while we tested out the different mattresses. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She truly convinced us that a sleep number is the way to go so we went ahead and placed an order online. We are very excited with our new purchase and we thank Maria for her patience and great customer service.
Be warned, I purchased a MLe mattress and I have hated it. Now there are some issues and I find out that sleep numbers 25 year warranty is a joke. I will explain.1. The main reason I have disliked this bed since the first year is it doesnt have enough support or structure along the sides and the memory foam piece on top kept shifting to. So every couple of months you need to unzip the cover (which IS NOT an easy task) the zipper is on the bottom so you have to work your way around and its constantly getting caught. plus the air tubes add additional challenges. Needless to say its a royal PITA. In the beginning it was fine but I think what happens is the cover gets stretched out or the foam shrinks or a combination of both. This allows enough slop for all the foam pieces to shift around. You have to think about how its made. There are 6 individual pieces of foam that make up base portion of the mattress and 3 layers to the cover. 4 pieces of foam that make up the perimeter (top,bottom, and sides) that are about 6-8 tall and 4 or so inches thick and a thin layer about 1-1.5 thick that makes up the bottom with a foam strip down the middle since I have a king, then you have two air bladders. all of these pieces are loose and nothing is attached in anyway. The the cover is zipped up around all of this and is the only thing holding everything together. When the fabric is new and tight its all good, but slowly the fabric starts stretching and thats when the trouble starts. The side foam starts bulging and losing its shape so instead of a nice rectangle or square you have more of a blob. Once the sides bulge out far enough to overhang the base you lose a lot of support.2. Memory foam portion. My mattress had a thick layer of memory foam that went on top of the poop sandwich described in #1. Once again it just sits there and isnt attached to the main mattress in any way. It is always shifting around and ends up out of alignment. Once again to adjust it you have to unzip the main cover to adjust it.3. The cover, Other than the issues outlined above (being difficult to remove and stretching out) I have another issue with it. The bottom side of the top layer of material develops very hard pills (hundreds of small 1/8 hard balls of waded up fabric) no big deal right? WRONG these hundreds of small pills act like sandpaper against the soft memory foam directly below it. My memory foam now has holes developing in it. The bottom side of my cover has 1/2 sized pieces of foam stuck to it... the foam is 2 sided too so I cant just flip it over. I had to go out and buy another sheet to put in between the cover and the memory foam to try and stop any further damage.4. All of this brings me to the warranty I finally couldnt take it any longer and took it all apart yesterday. Once I figured out what the issues were I called sleep number. Of course they were experiencing high call volume so I left my call back number. After a long laborious call trying to explain the issues and figure out which pieces I needed since the cover is confusing and has three separate pieces itself and then there is another totally separate cover for the base. The sleep # rep kept saying base cover which was making everything even more confusing. Either way after awhile she finally thought she had the right parts and when I asked if the parts were covered under warranty she informed me yes but the warranty is pro-rated. OK, fine how much is my portion. I ask? $2,200 dollars.... WHAT for a cover and a memory foam topper???? They want almost $600 just for the top cover. WHich is a complete rip off. Its obvious that sleep # is just making the parts so expensive that even if you get 90% off for your pro-rated warranty they are still making a killing off of you. Which is complete BS. All of my issues are directly related to poor design and or poor material and now you want to hose me again to fix your junk.class action lawsuit anyone?

Everything about my experience in this store was absolutely perfect. Marge was a pleasure to work with, and a source of thorough information about all products - from the beds to the motion options to the pillows, sheets, mattress pads, etc. The demonstration of the beds and associated items was extremely helpful to our choice to purchase, as well as educational as far as the technology and the science of sleep. This company has come a long way from their Lindsay Wagner commercials.
It wouldve been a lot nicer experience if I felt like spending thousands of dollars today but theyre really good at making you feel unwelcome unless youre ready to put money on the table.The sleep number beds are very comfortable though, so your research before visiting though.
I have never walked out of a store because of deplorable customer service...until today. I walked in planning on buying a specific mattress I had been saving for because any purchase like this is not cheap, especially for a good one. I waited without a problem because it was a sale on Sunday so I understood it was busy. Once it was my turn I told the sales associate I had a budget of $900 and which mattress I wanted. I was very upfront for two reasons. I didnt want to waste my time or hers if it wasnt going to work. She assured me and my husband that the mattress we wanted was on sale and walking out the door with sales price, tax and delivery it was $899. I though this was great and tried to get answers to some of my concerns however when I started asking my questions the sales associate walked away ignoring my questions. I didnt think they were difficult questions and even wouldve settled for an, Im not really sure answer. But being ignored and given a BS answer with attitude just didnt sit well. However I really wanted this mattress. Once we got through the sales info in the computer she says that the total would be over $1100. I immediately questioned this as she said the price was over $200 less. When I questioned her she stated she never said that. This was the last straw. I left super disappointed and very peeved. I wouldve given no stars but the only other sales associated in the place apologized and said that she hopes we have a good day.

REALLY RUDE!!!!! MARGIE !!! We stopped by as we walked past. My wife and I have talked about the sleep number mattresses as we walked by I decided to stop in . I noticed the temperature controlled mattress which caught my attention. I was with my mother-in-law my wife and my two kids. My 12-year-old daughter laid on the bed Margie came over and asked her not to lay on the bed ? My son Van came over and laid on the bed which is when Margie decided to reprimand us for my son laying on the bed ? Its a bed store they werent jumping on the bed they were very well behaved I could not believe how rude Margie became. Wouldnt corporate want us to lay on the bed? If my daughter liked the bed we may have purchased it for her . I wanted to try the bed next but Margie was so rude and controlling and we decided to leave . We let Margie know we were upset and that we didnt feel she had handled the situation properly she told us WE COULD LEAVE !!!I was just so disappointed in how my family was treated .We are good people, we raise our children with respect it was just so unfortunate how Margie represented the company we wont return. I just wish people could learn how to be nice .
