We bought a sectional that was a floor display in November, and its worked out great. Id gone in, expecting wed have to place an order and wait for 4 months, but we wanted to see different models first. This was on a Sunday afternoon, 20 minutes before closing, as the hours on the website were wrong, and yet the staff was wonderful. She asked excellent questions to help us figure out what would work best for how we live. We thought wed have to buy a sofa and loveseat as we hadnt seen a sectional we liked on the site, and when she walked us over to the floor model - I realized it was the design Id looked at years previous and wanted to get. Our only hesitation is that its off-white and we have a dog, but the easy care fabric is working well, and we put slip covers over it so they can be washed. When were home, Im on the recliner end, and its the first piece of furniture Ive ever sat in, let alone owned, that Im comfortable in, and my back is supported. La-Z-Boy makes a great range of furniture, so petite people like me can find something that works for me as well as my 6 2 husband. We can both lay down on it comfortably.
Catherine was quick to help me find exactly what I needed and has it scheduled for next day delivery! The power recliner looks like it will be perfect.
Massive kudos to Roe Malone who authentically executed exceptional customer service, and accuracy in speaking to the products. Respectful, calm and a delight. Not only are we very pleased with our purchase - we look forward to Roe being our go-to, trusted expert.
We bought 2 recliners from Erica at this La-Z-Boy location. The wait was about 4 weeks longer than intended due to Covid however, she went above and beyond with customer service to ensure we got our chairs as soon as they were ready. I misunderstood the pick up time and even though it was my mistake she had them delivered no charge directly to us same day! She truly made my day and week as I juggled a hectic schedule. I would absolutely work with her and this store again. You do pay more for La-Z-Boy but it’s worth the quality. The custom made recliners are so beautiful and comfortable. Her communication was consistent and timely and always friendly. Thank you!
Erika was very helpful and knowledgeable in assisting us in choosing the kind of chairs we were looking for. We purchased two recliners. She kept us updated as to when they would be in and available for pick up. She was very professional and nice to work with.
The quality of lazy boy furniture had really gone down. The leather which is not real leather but some sort of hybrid peels off in about 14 months, and guess what they only warranty for 12 months. How convenient. La-Z-Boy is not the same quality it was when I was a boy (40 years ago) and my parents worked hard to purchase a nice recliner.
Katherine was awesome! She didnt have exactly what we wanted for Mom. So Katherine worked with us to get exactly what pleased Mom. I will always start with Katherine. Shes great to work with and will really give you the very best advice.
We had a great experience at La-Z-Boy. Catherine Cooper and Roxanne Stevens were fantastic, helping us picking out colors and options, and even coming to our home to figure out color schemes and furniture positions. We shopped around and for quality, availability, and customer support we couldnt find any better.
Was just pricing furniture, but the folks were very attentive to us & we had a nice time.
I purchased a few thousand dollars in furniture and accessories. The store then tacked on two additional arbitrary fees, one of which was a delivery fee of $95.00, which customer service stated wasnt negotiable. I live about 5 minutes away, therefore asked them to cancel my order. They lost thousands over a $95.00 fee. Customer service Catherine Cooper was top notch, and very professional, however the store policies need to be revamped for the modern age or I suspect in this COVID-19 age in which we live, this store will be one of the local chains that no longer exist, at least in this area. If you are purchasing from this store, watch for the hidden unnecessary fees as they could add up to about +/- $300.00 in additional costs.
The women that work here has such a snotty attitude will now come back
These folks really go out of there way to please their customers. Yes, La-Z-Boys cost more, but you get what you pay for. If you need to customize, this is the way to go. Me and my family have special needs and desires and these folks are set on meeting us where we are. If you dont need this go to a box store. If you do, this is the place for you to consider.
Extensive delays with delivery and lack of communication notifying me. when I call, they claim they called me and never did. Customers should be given options when delivery delays are greater than 5 months! I will never shop here again.
Quality furniture; nice variety of home furnishings. Salesman Steven was very helpful.
As a customer I went to La-Z-Boy because of their brand known for its quality. When my living room furniture was coming to its final days I decided it was time for a trip to to their store with two requirements in mind. I wanted QUALITY & COMFORT. Harry met me at the door as I walked in. Not sure that I was ready to speak with a salesman but I told him I was looking for a sofa and reclining chair. “Show me what is in leather and your most Comfortable”. He pointed out two in particular for me to try. They were awesome to sit in! To be sure Harry was right! I sat in several around the store but Harry knows his furniture. I bought the sofa and chair that night. It’s been three years and my sofa feels like the day it arrived. My daughter loves it when she comes to visit saying it’s the most comfortable furniture she has sat on. The reclining chair takes a lot of wear. I am in it all the time. It is the most used chair. Probably because it’s so comfortable. If you can’t sleep at night, just 15 minutes in it and you are a sleep. No need to count sheep. The seat is not as puffy as when it arrived but still very comfortable and the back of both the chair and sofa supports your back that you just feel like melting. The leather is holding up nicely as if it were new. Still so soft and in the condition as it arrived. 5 STARS for this purchase. Worth every cent for the comfort and quality!
Roxanne and Tyler were fantastic! They are both very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. It was my pleasure to work with both of them and will be recommending them to all my friends. They patiently helped me find the perfect furniture to fit my home, style, and needs. Thanks again for all you hard work! Go see Tyler and Roxanne, they are great! I can hardly wait for my new furniture to be delivered!
Great furniture with beautiful accessories
We have been a Lazyboy customer for over 25 years. The service buying the furniture on Rt 1 in Cocoa was enjoyable. We bought a leather recliner and sofa made out of leather. We purchesed the insurance from them also. Well 4 years have passed and the leather started cracking on the recliner. We went through the insurance and was told it covered only accidents. So we have a very expensive recliner that after 4 years it started cracking so we called Lazyboy in Cocoa and was told they could do nothing . They offered to send out a service person but at a cost. We will never buy from them again. Very poor customer service
We bought two recliners and a sofa from Paige at Lazy Boy in Cocoa. The experience could not be better. She made absolutely certain that we got exactly what we wanted. There was no pressure just helped when asked. That is how a furniture buying experience should be.
Paige was an awesome sales person, very knowledgeable and patient. She took her time with us and was very friendly and not the typical “pushy” salesperson type you encounter at many stores.
I would consider going somewhere else. Giving it 3 stars cause it looks nice inside, the quality of the furniture is very good and the furniture is very comfortable. Our previous sales person made it a dream to buy there but the staff we dealt with on our most resent visit have really made us consider going else where.
Pretty awesome selection... Fair prices... And the blonde there is really hot 🤩🤤
It is a little on the expensive side, but from past experience the quality is better than the competition. Nice selection in store or there are many custom coverings you can have for a little more. Lazy Boy still has a lifetime frame warranty so no worries about guests that do the hard flop on the furniture.
Good service and time well spent. Not pushy at all.
Tyler was very knowledgeable and did not rush me through the process of choosing the recliner that was right for me; for my comfort and my budget. It was a great experience. Thank you Tyler.
Great store with helpful sales staff. Excellent service and quality of furniture is top notch. Ask for Catherine or Roxanne...they are a great team.
Extremely poor experience. We ordered 2 recliners based on wanting quality, and thought the Lazy Boy name would provide it. After waiting 10 weeks (after the promised 6-8) with no communication, we finally got our recliners. 2 weeks later, we had to call for repair as my husbands wiggles when it is in the stationary position. They came, picked it up, returned it 2 days later, saying it was repaired. Not only is it not better, it is back to the same, if not worse, then before the repair. Spoke to the manager, Erika Benbow, no help. Called corporate, was misled, got a call back from the service guy, who apparently has the authority in this situation, who said they would not exchange the chair. STAY AWAY!!!!
It was a very enjoyable and Judy was very good at what she does. The experience was great. I thank you very much for all your help.
Very friendly staff, so patient and willing to help my family find the perfect furniture. In the future if I need any furniture I will definitely go there first.
Paige was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about her products. We look forward to placing our order with her.
Most rude, discriminatory treatment ever. I was wearing holey jeans and a kick-around shirt because I had left the house that a.m. to go to the park and hadnt changed because we did some impulsive furniture shopping. So I probably didnt appear that I had the money to shop there. The sales woman looked my husband and I up and down (while sneering). It gave the impression of someone that worked somewhere FAR more posh than a La z boy furniture store. We had found a beautiful couch on sale at the store next door and went over there to see there was anything else. She literally laughed at us and said they are not like Rooms-To-Go. Which was funny because the two places have very similar prices. Also I dont know if La Z Boy still uses flame retardenats but the place smelled like a plastic waste dump which prompted me to ask about flame retardants. The sales lady couldnt answer the question. Update: they do not, so not sure why the whole store seems to off gas more than many furniture stores.Just because of outward appearance we were treated with disrespect. Very discrimatory.
Beautiful show room more than just La-Z-Boy chairs I Purchased a room full of furniture and was so impressed with the modern styles that lazy boy has to offer as well as the most comfortable chairs and couch you can find the staff in the store is wonderful
Very knowledgeable staff helped us find our new recliner in less than an hour.
Salesperson quickly found the recliners I was looking for, & able to get a discount. I am very satusfied with the product. Salesperson was friendly and professional.
Beware. La-Z-Boy sells their furniture thru franchise stores and thru corporate owned stores. The Cocoa/Sharpes store is owned by a franchisee. Thus, if you are dissatisfied with a purchase, any remedy will hinge on the store manager/owners, willingness to resolve your problem. We bought two leather recliners, two cloth covered sofas, and a leather theater recliner sofa from this store. However, we found the two mechanically operated recliners to be unsatisfactory because of the excessively noisy mechanisms. We also received two poorly constructed sofa cushions that were unsightly. Consequently, we returned to the store within three weeks to address our complaints with our salesman. For the two recliners, we requested to exchange them for similar quiet powered chairs. His response was essentially no -- the store is not in the used furniture business -- once delivered, we own them and any exchange would have to be on the basis of unrepairable chairs under the warranty terms.Under the warranty (bought the extended for all of our La-Z-Boy purchases), the repairman came to our house and inspected the recliners. Subsequently, he replaced the defective sofa cushions. For the two unsatisfactory recliner chairs, he found nothing he could adjust or repair -- only showed us how the noise could be somewhat reduced by the way we could shift our weight and by firmly holding back on the lowering arm. While this might help with some, it does not help for our guests or for us (80s). Shortly later, the leather seats on the theater sofa started deteriorating with the dark brown color layer flaking off. While addressing that leather failure issue with replacement seat cushion assemblies, the repairman, at our request took another look at the two unsatisfactory recliners. Again, he verified that he could not adjust, or repair, the chairs to reduce the excessive noise or excessive arm effort required to lessen the noise. In short, if we were dissatisfied, we needed to buy the same model equipped with powered motors. We returned to the store multiple times to seek a solution. Our thought was for us to sell our chairs and to buy new powered models from the store. Of course, we realized that by disposing of our almost new recliners that we would incur a loss. We were prepared to do that, but we asked the store manager, Erika Benbow, to order the replacement chairs at a discounted price -- not at a loss to the store, but only at a deeper discount than normal for the public markup. Thus, we thought that, while we would absorb the loss for the unsatisfactory chairs, the store could, at no loss, lessen our outlay by stepping up with a special discount. The response by Erika Benbow was initially a paltry 6% discount off the floor price. Later, after we continued to complain, that discount was raised to 10%, or we could take advantage of one of their sales events, such as Verterans Day, which would have better prices.Bottom line, regardless of our loyalty to La-Z-Boy by buying their furniture several times since the 1960s, or in recognition of our large purchases at this store, the manager would do nothing more than treat us as a new customer walking in for the first time to buy recliners during a sale promotion. TOTALLY UNSATISFACTORY!Of course, we will now take our business for replacing our recliners to the local Orlando corporate owned store. We have delt with that, and other corporate owned, store before with satisfaction. Our mistake was that we bought from the Cocoa franchise. That said, the quality of La-Z-Boy products have noticeably declined in recent years. The excessive noise for our mechanical recliners is primarily the result of a design change that is cheaper to manufacture. The sofa cushions have been replaced with marginally acceptable cushions. The theater leather seats were replaced. A second replacement is now needed for one seat. Caveat Emptor applies!
Was an easy and enjoyable shopping experience.
We walked into the store and asked for barstools and the salesman laughed at us. It was snide and rude. I will take my business elsewhere! No one should behave that way in business and it ruins reputations, especially when the customer you’re being rude to has a large network of business associates and friends!By the way, I went to Haverty’s and bought $4500 worth of furniture. Never, ever pre-judge or laugh at a customer for being black!UPDATE: We went back to Haverty’s and purchased more furniture. In fact, we spent another $2400. It never pays to be rude and dismissive.
Staff was very nice and helpful, will definitely go back.
Nice furniture, sales personal were very nice. Great experience.
People were very friendly, knowledgeable about the furnishings but a bit on the pricy side if not in sale.
Always helpful and nice. They leave you alone when you just want to browse.
