What a great little hidden treasure The Key Lime Pie Company is with all that it has to offer. My first time there, as I walked in, I was amazed with the wide variety and selection of offerings they had to offer. Florida themed, even with fish swimming in the floor, everything just looks so good. I was so impressed with The Key Lime Pie Company that when a cousin was in town I told them they had to go there. As a thank you, they left me a gift card. So on Easter Sunday I drove down there to get one of their world renowned Key Lime pies (some of the local restaurants serve there pies as well). I also picked up some Honey Beer for my son’s birthday, they have a whole selection of beers that you can mix and match, and some hot sauce for myself too. Great suggestion too. As I was checking out, the owner came over to help and noticed the name on the gift card. Asked where I was from, Titusville. “Do you know so & so?” Yes that’s my sister. He then proceeded to call her. What a small world. They are open Noon to 6:00 pm 7 days a week. Enjoy
I love this place. I like the fact that they require masks and hand sanitizing when you enter. To keep everyone safe. The Key Lime Pie and Key Lime Ice Cream was amazing. And they have a great selection of wine, beer and hot sauces. And, I finally got to meet Sweetie the World Famous Alligator!. Louie the owner is the best!
So so so glad we stopped by. We spent some time chatting with the owner while sting their ice cream, which I will say is divine! Not too sweet, home made and very fresh. Their pies are delicious and the atmosphere is very chill. If you stay long enough, you get to meet the cutest little deputy gator you’ve ever laid your eyes on!
Key lime pie is fantastic!!! Tastes how real key lime pie is supposed to. The owner is very personable, respectfully proud of his business and appreciative of his customers, new and existing. We enjoyed the wine tasting and talking with the owner and his staff. One of the best parts of this business is that everything is local to Florida. As a tourist, it was nice to visit this store and not see the same junk I can get back home. Also, we got to meet the first deputized gator in Florida here - which was super neat.
Our family loves the Florida Key Lime Pie Company. The key lime pie is amazing but make sure you grab a bag of the key lime covered pretzels. They are nicknamed Cocoa Beach Crack because they are so good and addicting. The ice cream is very good and very fresh. My sons favorite thing to get is the totally gross sodas. Which have very unique names to say the least. They have a large selection of Florida made products including salt water taffy. You can surely find something for everyone in here. Tons of great hot sauces also.If you are in the Cocoa Beach area go check them out. They are right next to Ron Jon. Plenty of parking right in front of the store. You can also follow their social media to see when the most famous alligator in the world Sweetie will be there.
Overall a cool place with potential. Website said wine tasting available but saw no sign of that upon entering. What made us turn around and leave was there was almost no pricing on anything! Asked for a few prices and they were fair for a tourist type of location but I have a soft rule about not buying something that isn’t priced.Invest in a pricing gun. If you are proud of your prices show it or don’t try to sell it.
Yep, it’s definitely a legit key lime pie company! So many things KLP it’s almost overwhelming, but also a wonder to walk around and see all they offer. But by far, you absolutely MUST try the Key Lime Yogurt Pretzels if you stop by. You MUST, you hear?! Sooooo good! Trust me, i know how weird it sounds and I felt apprehensive myself at first but so curious I had to try them, so please do the same yourself and thank me later by liking this review;) Oh, and I’d also get a slice a good ole key lime pie. That’s pretty darn good too! They have ice cream as well and I’m telling you just so many other unique things to try. And across the street is the *original Ron Jon Surf Shop as well as Cocoa Beach Pier only a few minute walk, what more Florida essentials could you ask for?
I loved this shop.so many things to choose from. I bought lots of different things to try. Key lime pretzels are amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The ice cream section had so many flavours to choose from and samples provided to help you decide. Its clean and tidy and very well presented. The walls are beautifully decorated and the pavement outside too
You must come here if you are on the Space Coast! The Key Lime pie is amazing, they have a wall of hot sauces. Great wine, fudge, ice cream, and Sweetie the Alligator is there on Saturdays and Sundays. Louie, the owner, is always there to answer questions about anything. Love these people!
You should definitely come here if you are in the area. Fun assortment of all things key lime. Plus some fantastic ice cream choices - if you get two scoops they serve it in a coconut shell bowl (when in stock). We get a slice of key lime pie here every time we visit the beach. Also, love it when the guy with sweetie the alligator stays out front. What a great little gem right next to Ron Jons!
I was overwhelmed with the choices! Everything I bought has been amazing so far & I will definately be going back soon! I am a Central Fl native & love my home grown stuff. The homemade key lime ice cream was to die for. The key lime wine was amazing. The key lime pie was as check puckering, tart as you would expect it to be! Cant wait to go back!!!
Very good products but a little pricey $ 4.95 for a slice of delicious pie to take home.
A cute little shop that looks like its run by a family. Super friendly and good!
The chocolate devotion cake is phenomenal!! Its also sweet how they rescued sweetie the gator when she was 1. Shes completely blind so shed have no chance in the wild.
Such a cute, charming store. Lots of variety. Truffles were delicious
We went for the key lime pie, but discovered amazing ice cream. The key lime pie is authentic (except I wish it had whipped cream on top) and tangy, definitely a good experience. The ice cream though is what we’ll be going back for- so fresh, light, and simply delicious. Also, I’m getting some of the salt water taffy next time too.
Got key lime pie to top off the Florida experience which was pretty good but nothing amazing (per my boyfriend) and there’s a fairly interesting selection of many local goods. Touristy but not the worst option in terms of product offerings.Did not like the how the business chose to politicize its business by offering pro-Trump, pro-Republican, anti-Democrat chocolates and hot sauces, with no option for those that disagree (political products can be fun, but not when they’re one sided). We get it, it’s Florida, and you love Trump. However, I will not be choosing to patronize again.Additionally, please note the gator out front may be allowed but feels unkind and unnecessary to the gator, a living animal. I understand this is common in the area, but we tried to overlook it for the promise of local goods and must-try key lime pie, but truly tough to stomach if your morals do not align.
One of the things you think of when you think of Florida is Key Lime Pie, and I was very excited when I discovered this store.Upon walking in, the saleswoman was very friendly and explained to us how real key lime pies are made and gave us plenty of samples of key lime pie, cookies, and key lime pie flavored pretzels to try.The cookies and the pretzels were very addictive, so we bought a box of cookies. The key lime pie sample in the store tasted good, so we got a whole pie. Later on, once we got home, we ate a slice, and it tasted much sweeter than it did in the store. I found the pie and the crust to be too sweet for my liking.Overall not a bad pie, just too sweet for me, but those cookies were amazing.
The owner Louie was amazing and we loved that he shared his passion & knowledge about their ice cream process with us! You HAVE to try the maple pecan, lavender & salted dark chocolate! 10/10 thank you for the great experience!!! 💓
Yummy key lime pie! They also have a huge assortment of salt water taffy and the ice cream taste like my dad used to make, homemade with love. Highly recommended 👌
Neat shop thats decorated very cute with tons of unique Florida items...its just very annoying when items arent priced. The key lime pie ice cream was really really yummy. Didnt care for the key lime pie truffles (white chocolate), tasted waxy and was just not good, not much of the key lime flavor
I wish I could give this place zero stars! We walked right off the beach to this place to get our toddler ice cream. We were not greeted with a “hello” or “how are you today” the first words out of the employees mouth were “do you have a mask. “ I said, I did not considering we just came from the beach and did not have one with us. The man quickly said “then you cannot be in here and order.” I simply replied okay, and they simply will lose our business! We went to an ice cream shop across the street called Le monthi cafe! The owners were amazing and polite and took our business! Would totally recommend that place!!
Im extremely disappointed. I was looking forward to this place and was the first time we did when we got into town! We walked in, greeted right away, but ditched right away. There were NO prices on anything except the beer tower. How in the world is anyone supposed to shop when there are no prices? Its not a yard sale. Nothing was that special, it was all packaged snacks and items bought from other stores and online. The key lime pie mightve been good but who would know?! Nobody could help. We were able to taste one of the wines but she couldnt tell us anything about them. The most interesting thing was the Florida wines made all from fruit and we were going to buy one but when we did, everyone was too busy talking in the back and nobody had any interest in coming up front to help the 3 families in line waiting to buy things. Not some place Ill go again. They did have ice cream though but we didnt try any because by that time, we were already kinda mad at the poor customer service.
Love this place! Location is very nice. They have a nice selection of Florida brewed beers, saltwater taffy, jams, sauces and many more. Their key lime pie is one of my favorites! Very creamy, and not too sweet. The owner recommended pairing the pie with a key lime shandy that they carry. It was amazing!Highly recommend checking this place out!
Best key lime I have ever had. Watch out, its rich but oh so perfectly tangy, smooth, and creamy with great key lime flavor. Its done right. Maybe while there you can pet the alligator.
UPDATE! I’m a Florida girl and this is the best Key Lime pie I’ve ever had - better than grandma’s!It’s creamy and just the right balance of sour and sweet with a crust that is everything you want!!So happy we found this place! Just steps away from Ron Jon and Alan Shepard park. Everything you could want from Ice cream to gator jerky to Florida beers! Super nice owner - we took a whole key lime pie home! Will definitely be back! 💚💚💚
My sister and I stopped by for the pie and ended up with a bag fool of goodies as well. Loved it ALL! Will be back.
Cute store! Loved the atmosphere and the Key lime pie was sweet and tart😊
>>>>This place is a tourist trap.
The best. Seriously. We love the frozen deep dish pre cut key lime pie Lasts forever in the freezer. Thank you!!
We traveled all the way from Colorado to cocoa beach. We had to try the key lime pie! It was amazing, also picked up some snacks to bring home. Cant wait to have the honey and guava jelly! So glad to know that they take the necessary safety precautions. Dont listen to those negative Karens this place was great!!!
Very delicious key lime pie and key lime pie ice cream! I fully respect private property rights so I had no problem with their mask or sanitizing requirements which were clearly marked outside the front door. Thanks for the treats.
Pleasantly surprised to find a place in FL who follows COVID 19 protocols. Happy to see masks are enforced. For those complaining- they must not be able to read... as there are about 4 signs posted on the windows/doors advising that masks are a requirement. Anyway, my mother-in-law was very happy with the key lime pie. Thanks again!
Pie not fresh. Made off site and frozen. Gator was worth the trip. Go to long doggers for fresh key lime pie.
Nice guy that runs the shop. I really appreciate the COVID safety measures in place. Its a small store and using precautions is the smart way to go!Great key lime pretzels!
OMG this place is amazing! From the key lime pie, of course, to the gourmet ice cream! I tried candied bacon. This place has everything. Its not only a store but an attraction. They have a ton of beers and wines and novelty sodas too. Oh yeah, they have like over 500 hot sauces! The day I went, Sweetie the Gator was hanging out in store and outside. Awesome place. Louie has an incredible establishment I didnt want to leave
Its a nice little store. We picked up a key lime pie to take home. I do wish they would list all of their prices.
Fantastic pie. I did not buy enough of it. When I was done I wished I had more
The Key Lime pie was extremely good. Even got to pet an alligator on the porch. Cool place for sure
We visited here last year and had an issue with getting our hot sauces home. They were very understanding and hooked us up with some new sauces and key lime pie pretzels. The homemade ice cream and key lime pies are always a tasty treat! The rescue alligator that we met was cute and friendly. We always stop in when in town.
OMG the pie was fantastic! You have to try it.
Excellent pie. Best Ive ever had. Drove from Palm Bay to buy a pie.
What Amazing homemade ice cream it is so delicious the stuff is kind and welcoming I would lightly recommend Florida Key Lime Pie Company.
Real key lime pie. Yellow not green. Interesting hot sauces they also had ice cream which I didnt try and a ton of different salt water taffy flavors.
Ridiculous behavior over masks! Came off the beach so I didn’t have my mask. Friend told me she didn’t have a mask and was greeted at the door and they sold her one while she waited outside. This DID NOT happen to me, instead the woman behind the counter yelled at me. She was yelling at me over other customers. No matter someone’s position on masks, shaming customers is never a good approach. Not a single vendor in Florida has responded this way. Never visiting here again.
Always a fun visit with the owner, Louie. Great key lime pie and other locally made items. Lots of different local craft beers and ciders. Make sure you visit when “Sweetie” the alligator is there chilling out ready to meet customers.
The ice cream was great!! Got some fudge too
Stopped while shopping and bought WAAYY too much salt water taffy and only 2 bags of Cocoa Beach Crack (Key Lime flavored yogurt covered pretzels). After getting back to Daytona Beach Shores we opened the pretzels and realized 2 bags were NEVER GOING TO BE ENOUGH! We made a return trip the next day and bought SEVERAL more bags for ourselves and for gifts for family back home. Also picked up more taffy... just in case! DELICIOUS!!!
The pie was good, slightly too sweet but it is a pie so to be expected. Many different products available so nice for looking around. Service was average for Florida.
Awesome place if you are a hot sauce fan. Many varities to choose from. And a nice friendly staff.
Best key line pie ever. And a large selection of craft beers.
So the first time we came in 2 days ago- best ice cream ever! Today walked in the door close to closing (4 mins) as we had a long drive- 1 hour with traffic to get our last treat before heading home and was told no ice cream as they stop serving at 3 mins before close, huh?!?!? So a bit disappointed in this as thats right when we walked in. If your OPEN until 6, your open UNTIL 6, just FYI!
Friendly crew. Lots of flavors of ice cream. Rosemary lemon was a fun flavor. They served it in a coconut shell.
Very friendly staff and great selection of key lime favorites. Love the parking lot and floor mural. Husband bought some beer so he is a happy camper.
Very cute store with unique products. Friendly staff and great ice cream!
Waste of time. I was hoping to bring some home made key lime pie with me to San Diego. But customer service was slow. I also was appalled to see the gator. I don’t agree with the atmosphere at this place.
This place was alright..The grandkids tried the hottest sauce they sell...and had ice cream after..The reason we went was for the free key lime pie that they did not offer and the wine tasting that they didnt offer either. We were told no employees available over 21 for wine tasting. So i still havent tried any wine that i like.
Small shop but really cool stuff. Be sure to get a slice of key lime pie when you visit. Yum.
Both the cheesecake and the key lime pie were some of the best I’ve ever had! A must stop!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the pie and the ice cream. Yes had key lime pie ice cream and haven’t stopped thinking about it yet. The owner is taking health screening and prevention very serious and went out of his way to chat with us. If you are in the area make this a stop on your itinerary!-Birmingham, AL
Looked like an awesome store. My wife and I attempted to go in while in Cocoa Beach. It was a shame to see they were making customers take a bath in hand sanitizer and wear a mask prior to entering the store. My wife and I are both vaccinated and CDC guidelines were just changed as of this past week. It’s very unfortunate that some people clearly choose to follow their political ideology and what MSNBC hosts say over the CDC. Time to move on. We decided to leave and i couldn’t be happier.
Their key lime pie is DELICIOUS! Legit. Its an interesting shop. They even have a kie lime soda and taffy made in Florida. That pie was phenomenal!
We visited here on vacation. The have a fun pet Alligator and the Key Lime Pie is really good!
My wife dropped $60 in 15 minutes in here so husbands beware. The key lime and peanut butter pie slices were really yummy! 😋
I never got the chance to go inside of this store because I was soooooo mesmerized by their amazing rescue alligator, sweetie. I was so enchanted by her perfection that I completely forgot to go in and visit this lovely store. Sweetie was such an amazing creature, she and I cuddled for quite a while. This place is absolutely worth a visit for this experience alone, it’s a chance of a lifetime. I cannot wait to go back and visit this little store as well :)
I was very excited to visit this store and try the key lime pie. Unfortunately, the store employee immediately brought politics into my shopping experience. Very distasteful and unwelcoming. Darn it.
Great place for all things key lime!! Not only do they have pie, they have ice cream, wine, cookies, spices and more! This is a must stop place right close to Ron Jons!!
Cool little store. The key lime pie is quite good.
Great home made ice cream. Strictly enforces masks which is nice to see
Everything about this place is wonderful! The owners chatted with us and made us feel like family. We bought hot sauces (so many to choose!) and local honey to bring back with us to Ohio. We will back before we leave to try their desserts and taffy! Please shop this great local business!
The place was nice. Staff friendly. Because of covid there was no free sample. They were out of alot of items, like the key lime pretzels and popcorn.
Good pie, great home made ice cream with fun flavors. Plus its always great to support local businesses.
Good but some of the items were way too expensive
What an odd little place. You’d think that pies would be showcased somehow, but there is a regular soda fridge with a few slices in plastic and two whole pies in foil. Other than that, it was just tourist types of candy on half filled shelves. We tried to get ice cream, but the girl working said it was too frozen to scoop. So, we took the mystery pie and got out of there. The pie itself was ‘fine’. But the weirdest thing is that they force you to be sprayed with some substance they claim is sanitizer before you can enter. Through the entire pandemic, we have never been sprayed by an employee. Not even at a doctors. It’s not an actual protocol and we aren’t sure what we were sprayed with. All things considered, Publix has a frozen and drama free key lime pie for a quarter of the price.
Fun experience. Key lime pie was excellent.
Cool little shop off the beach, great for hot sauces and key lime pie, the owner Louie even bought us a slice! Check them out
First time there the key lime pie was great, alot of great foods there
If you like key lime pie give them a try.
I went there one day and the lady was amazing and really sweet so much so that I bought more than I normally would able because I wanted to give her more business. I decided to go a few days later and sadly the experience was quite the opposite, an older man was rude and decided that his phone was more important than his customers. I have never seen someone care more about his phone than assisting a customer. Hopefully if you go you get the nice lady and not this older gentleman.
