They royally ripped off a good friend ofMine. They Sold a car that was his In there shop for $30k and still months later he never saw a dime. Than closed up shop. They were friends for over thirty years which meant nothing to them. Lawsuit coming very quick to them! Absolute fraud!
Im looking to hear of others with the same poor experience Ive had with EUROSTAR AUTO GALLERY. In October 2020 I showed up to their location on Cockeysville Road to check on my Porsche 911 they were to be consigning for me. I had dropped it off in March 2020. Their building, formerly filled with other high-end cars was empty (!!) Turns out they sold my car in June 2020, lied to me about selling it (falsified a bill of sale which the owner admitted to on October 28th), and closed their business down. (Ive since heard they took all the cars to auction from another victim I met through my last post, 2 days ago, that has now been deleted). Im now $5k in lawyer fees, that I will get back at all costs, time, effort on my part on top of over $50k from the sale of my car that I never got :)Kate Carski-MarylandI understand there are many others in this situation and posting to connect with those people. I filed a police report, took the police report number to file a CRIMINAL COMPLAINT at the district court, spoke to the states attorney and have a court date set for February. Officer Henderson at the Cockeysville precinct shared that I wasnt the only victim coming forward unfortunately.
(address listed at 11222 Cockeysville, MD is not correct. Ive been by there and its Diamond Exchange). Any out of state owners getting the run around about where there car is....please read:Owner Chip or legal name Leo V. M. and manager owes me over $50k from the sale of my Porsche 911. I left it to consign in March 2020. In August the manager Jim D. emailed me and lied, telling me he had someone interested in test driving my car. (He actually sold it in June!). I showed up to the business in October and the place was empty! Over the phone, the manager said they moved (found out the havent been in the space since May but didnt tell anyone. )Unfortunately Ive met many others in the same situation. I did NOT ALLOW the owner to feed me a line of promises of getting my money.IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN THE SIMILAR SITUATION you could (as I did):1) file a police report (police may say its a civil matter..but still file). Keep the police report number for the next step.2) take the police report number to file a FORMAL COMPLAINT to the District Court Commissioner (Downstairs in the District Court in Towson).3) Anticipate next steps with setting up an appointment with the states attorney (mine happened in a few days and court date is now set). Public information on the business (Stellar Motorcars, LLC).I then hired a lawyer. I will tack on to the suit, the lawyer fees and any other expense covered by consumer protection.I am not a lawyer and offer NO legal advise . Above is personal experience.
Where or how these guys get such clean cars is a complete mystery, but their collection (available on web) is usually amazing, with Ferrari and Lambos along with BMWs and classic muscle cars too all presented in a nice indoor setting. Its not easy to find if you havent been there before, but there is usually one car visible in the window from the street. I also happen to think they are straight shooters and will negotiate, but sometimes they dont have to negotiate - the cars are gone before they list them.
I purchased a 2013 427 6-Speed Anniversary Corvette from Jim and Chip at Eurostar Auto Gallery. I flew in from Michigan and quickly surmised the car was immaculate...even better than they stated on the phone. These are REAL CAR GUYS who take care of their customers with beautiful automobiles. I HIGHLY recommend Eurostar...VERY PROFESSIONAL with integrity second to none!!
Laid back but professional environment. No pressure at all but they have a very exotic niche inventory of well maintained exotic and rare cars so the inventory kinda sells itself, lots of hard to find cars in excellent condition. I havent purchased anything yet and even if I dont it will no be because of the experience I had. If you like really cool exotic, muscle, or hard to find cars this place is worth visiting if even just to look at the impressive inventory.
We were trying to go in when it opens at 10:00 the door was locked and my son wanted go but the doors were lock no idea how to get in and the website was not woking or the phone number
Chip is arguably the BEST owner / dealer in all of my car buying experiences. I recently purchased a Bentley GT coupe. After I took delivery, the check engine light appeared and the car began to run sluggish (loss of power.) I called Chip and without hesitation he asked me to bring the car back for diagnosis and repair. What impressed me was that he arranged for my vehicle to be shipped to the Bentley Dealership for the repairs. In addition; he introduced me to the Bentley service manager and they both kept me in the loop during the entire repair process. What really impressed me is that Bentley charged $13,000 for the repairs which Chip paid for immediately without any hesitation ! Not to mention all of this was going on in the midst of Covid19. Now my car runs perfectly and has the added protection of a 3 year warranty for the completed repair work from the Bentley dealer. Chip youre a stand up guy - dont ever change !Cleveland H.Owings Mills, MD
Jim here at Eurostar Auto Gallery knows his stuff. I mean, really REALLY knows his stuff. He can tell you anything about their cars without even looking. Really enjoyed chatting with Jim the couple times I came by here. This is a laid back environment but its also a professional environment, as others have said.
A great buying experience. Jim and the staff know their cars. They only have cars that they would drive and own themselves. Beautiful, well maintained cars. A highly skilled tech team, great cars so if you see something you like, dont hesitate. I bought my car before the pictures hit their web page and people were still calling, days later. trying to make offers.
Best car buying experience ever. I just purchased my very first used Ferrari (a 1997 F355 Spider) and from start to finish they are running a first class operation. True old school customer service, a genuine desire to make their clients beyond happy and the desire to do the right thing no matter what it takes. In my deal, I really felt like I was the lucky one to have found them to buy the car from. They took steps well beyond any reasonable expectation to ensure the car was perfect before pickup and ready to enjoy. I will be going out of my way to buy my future cars from them without a doubt.
I would like to compliment Eurostar, especially their mechanic Justin. He did an excellent job on my brakes. He is courteous and extremely knowledge about auto repair. His workmanship is thorough and professional. I will be returning to Eurostar for all my automotive work. Thank you, Eurostar and Justin for a great job.
BEWARE!!!! I’ve known Jim Doyle for 30 years and trusted him to sell my restored Classic Volkswagen Beetle which he and Chip Miller did and never paid me a penny to date, do not trust Eurostar motors do not buy a car here do not sell a car here, contracts and handshakes mean nothing to them
I contacted Eurostar after seeing an online listing for one of their cars and was able to set up an appointment for the following weekend. Given that the car was 30 years old, I was somewhat skeptical of what condition it would be in. My expectations were shattered as soon as I stepped on the lot; every single vehicle, regardless of age/make/model, was in immaculate condition. The process of purchasing the car and transferring the title was expeditious and even now, months after the purchase, Chip and his staff are more than willing to answer any questions and concerns that I have about the vehicle. Excellent experience!
This was definitely my best car buying experience “ever”. The team is very professional and knowledgeable and that starts from the top down with the owner(Chip).I feel like I’ve know Chip for years. He really takes care of his customers- Kudos!Big thx to Chip, Jimmy, Justin and Nick. I love my Bentley and will be back this time next year for another great experience:D. Keep up the good work guys.
My friend Robert introduced me to Jim and Craig when he bought his Aston Martin from them. They met his every need, including help with after-market wheels and tires, from which they did not profit. Justin provides the full range of service on their cars, and a wide range of makes and models from outside customers. I test drove a Ferrari with Craig, who was completely courteous and professional. I may yet succumb to one of their diverse offerings, perhaps a Bentley!
Chip and Jim as well as the entire Eurostar team are enthusiast with a passion for creating the ultimate car buying experience! My recent purchase was a rare find 997 C2S 2008 Cabrioletwith only 3000 miles!!!!! A rare and unique buying experience .....I have several cars and enjoy the hunt but these guys take it to the next level.Happy Motoring.......Gene L.
After shopping around relentlessly, and doing research to make an informed purchase- when I found Eurostar I was instantly compelled to purchase my first Mercedes truck from them opposed to anywhere else. The customer sevice, and selection are both exemplary. I highly recommend them as the dealer to purchase a high quality vehicle from, and/or sell one you own.
Con artists to the max; got taken for $20k on a car they refuse to honor the warranty on and blame the Russians! Do not deal with these cons. I live on the West Coast and its just too much hassle to hire a Maryland attorney to pursue the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act breach. These guys are cons! Senior Citizen taken for a ride, out of luck!
I have not even picked up my vehicle yet and I’m going to write this review. Like many of you I spent months searching frantically for the perfect vehicle. I came across EuropeStar website and decided to drive from Fairfax to upper Maryland. When I got there I was met by the owner and Jim who are both so cool and laid back. They were not like the conventional car salesman, there was no pressure to purchase a vehicle from them. Looking forward to picking up my limited addition Mercedes convertible this week and I would advise anybody and everyone for all of your vehicle purchasing needs shop here. These are the type of guys you want to remember at Christmas! Great job guysJohnny Brown
Beautiful selection of cars! Owners are friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and reputable. Very happy, will buy from them again!
A very friendly and professional company, the attention to detail is second to none.My car was in for a major job which was completed in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. But it was by simply noticing a screw in a tyre, which they sent out for repair while they continued working and saved me the hassle of dealing with a flat tyre some morning that impressed me greatly.Keep up the great work guys!!
Amazing inventory and customer service. The owner is knowledgeable and no salesman just customer service
I bought my second car from Eurostar and it was another great experience. They are not the typical used car lot- they care about the cars as if they were their own and want to find good homes for them!
I purchased a beautiful Maserati from EuroStar. Chip, Jim and Justin were all a pleasure to deal with. I had a few minor issues with the car after I bought it. They took care of all of them, including one problem they saw that I wasn’t even aware of. I highly recommend EuroStar.
Great place for previously owned high end vehicles with friendly service and great ownership.
I had a GREAT experience with Justin and the entire Eurostar staff with regard to getting my Jag AC working perfect again!!! Wonderful people, excellent service and priced right!!!
I come to find after a few months of purchasing a car. They gave me temp plates, the temp plates are being used through my ez pass. I can’t believe I’m getting 51 dollars in Maryland ez pass registered in my name and I’m from jersey. Please beware. I had to go to motor vehicles to straighten this out and it cost me money from there fraud .
I was in the DC area for business, I called Eurostar and spoke with Jim about a C4S that was for sale. i made an appointment to come in the following afternoon. I informed Jim that I was in town and would be taking an Uber from DC to see the vehicle. I test drove the car and decided to move forward and purchase the vehicle. I completed a financing application, which was approved. However, Jim informed me that the application was approved pending my employment history as Id only been employed with my current employer for 11 months. I found this to be very odd, Im a car collector and have several cars, Id never heard of such a thing through financing. Before I left Eurostar Jim told me that because it was so late (Id been at the dealer from noon to about 5:30pm) hed reach out to the credit union first thing the following morning. I told Jim my intentions were to purchase the car and drive it back to my destination after my business trip. I also told Jim that because my returning flight was the following day, Id be willing to change my flight to the following day to get the financing mix up figured out, Jim obliged. I returned to DC is another Uber. The following day I waited until 12:30pm to be informed by Jim that the credit union simply couldnt approve my application because my employment wasnt 12 months or more at my current employer. I found it odd that a lender would approve me then go back and nix a deal over being 30 days short of being employed with my current employer.I returned home having wasted 200 dollars in change flight fees and 300 dollars in uber fees. I was so bothered by all of this that I called the credit union the following week to request my credit report and a documented reason for the application decision. I was told by the credit union that they could not provide a report or an explanation because my application was approved and at no time did they decline the application. Jim flat out lied to me, he never even sent the requested documents that the credit union requested from him, i.e. Paystubs, Identification; all of which I provided him. Shortly after the credit union notified me of all of this they reached out to Jim and confirmed that the application was approved, Jim said he was told by the lending manger that the application was declined. The lending manager confirmed to me that at no point did she decline my loan. The lending manager then told Jim that if he sent over the required documents they could get funding done so that I could purchase the desired vehicle, Jim informed the credit union that the car was sold already and no longer available. This was over 2 weeks ago to date, the car is still available on the Eurostar website. It looks like Jim didnt want to sell ME the car for some reason. He was totally unethical by being completely dishonest with me about my application.
I havent bought from them YET. The cars they stock are incredible and priced appropriately.Couldnt get over how flawless their cars are. Each had the appearance of new minus an ocassional wrinkle in the seat leather. Cant avoid that. Will defininitely buy my next car there.Chip and Craig were great to talk to and are real car guys.
What a showroom! Mr. Jimmy is a good guy and knows his cars.
My experience with EuroStar and especially with Craig and Jim was life changing. I will never buy a car anywhere else. Extremely glad they moved from Randallstown to Cockeysville!
A1 advice and service. These guys know the car business
Excellent service, good employees.
Very friendly and knowledgeable guys
Wow, cant believe whats going on
