Awesome experience for my first time, very helpful and cool guys. Mike cerakoted a 1911 for me. His attention to detail is unmatched!! They’re willing to meet up after hours as long as you can work it out with them. Will be going back for more. Thanks again.

Like everyone else says. Theyre never open. Ive driven by about 5-6 times now from anywhere from 11am-3pm on a weekday. Different days. No one there. I at one point thought they were out of business just hadnt removed their signage. Try calling ahead maybe. If no answer, dont take the chance of driving all the way out here.

Very very impressed with the skill and knowledge of the staff working at KTF. I have done a custom AR build and it came out absolutely fantastic not one single complaint. Not to mention the amazing Cerakote job. Best part is that is I received the finished product before I thought it would be done. If you are looking for a place to build or purchase a firearm in the Central Valley I would highly recommend Kaufmann Tactical Firearms. Will be back soon for another project.

My experience with KTFs service could not have been better. Their customer service, workmanship and turnaround time on a custom AR I had coated was outstanding. The pricing was fair as well. I wanted an excellent job done and got it so no complaint from me. In fact I will be back soon with several more jobs for them.

Terrible communication and customer service. Broke every promise they made. Tom committed to getting work done for me in December. Over the next four months I called more than 5 times. I left messages each time and no one ever called me back. I had to visit Kaufmann in person, which I did monthly. They apologized each time but nothing ever happened and the never communicated with me. I finally picked up my incomplete items today, four months past due. Impressive that they remain in business.

Terrible business man. Wont answer the phone, wont call you back and has had my girlfriends Christmas present for 3 weeks now and I cant even pick it up until after Christmas. Never will I do business again.

Watch out for these guys. So many hidden fees. I had a gun transferred from out of state. They had listed a transfer fee of $35. They charged me $35 for DROS(which is not legal), $15 for paperwork. $50 for out of state transfer (which he says that CA charges to bring it into the state....BS.) Then tax.You should only have to pay $25 for DROS, tax on the firearm, and a ffl transfer fee(this is not a CA fee). They can charge whatever they want it is the ffl dealers prerogative, but they have to list it as such and not misrepresent CA fees. He listed at $35 and charged me $75. I had also ask for a quote on a cerokoting a slide and they never gave me a price...I assume they do the same thing...you bring it in and have them do the work, then they give you the price. Surprised they didnt charge me a using our pen fee. Also didnt submit my paperwork for 4 days. I was expecting a 10 wait like normal, but when I went to pick it up, they said I still had 4 days...when did we go to a 14 wait period. Hope that $40 was worth it...I wont be back and hope others see this before getting bent over too.

I had them Cerakote a rifle for me and what a great job with fast turn-around time!!! Just great guys and great work. Dont hesitate to do business with them. I will definitely be using their service again. I am glad to see we have a professional Cerakote facility here in town.

Did cerakote on a gun i brought in as a gift for my brother who is leaving for the Marines. It came out amazing. good price. Could not be happier and my brother loved it. Also me being a hand gun owner i was curious in extending my collection and getting into ARs...asked a laundry list of questions about ARs and the owner spent the time to answer everything handed me many guns to hold and see what was best, these guys have A TON of knowledge. For what I paid I wish the cerakote was more durable...took it home pumped my shotgun two or three times...already see wear lines down to exposed metal...had a drill and tap done had to take it back to get fixed...overall wouldnt do it again but...ymmv

Terrible service, they did a custom build for me and botched my lower receiver.

Bought a ar15 upper and lower. The upper and lower does not fit had to customized it to fit. The trigger pins were drilled too high, and could not put into safe.

I had a 308 Barrel that I wanted him to install a front sight on he installed it crooked and I didnt have enough windage in my rear sight to compensate for that so now I have a barrel that I dont know if I can have redrilled or if I have to by another $600 Barrel

The store hours say they are open weekdays from 10AM-6PM.I walked up to find they were closed at 3:13 on a Thursday.

Closed at 3pm on a Friday, when their hours state they are open. Drove an hour into town only to be disappointed.

I will not be going back. Been waiting for a lower I purchased for three months now...
