They have good deals and you have to search and spend time to find good deals, its a good place to get most of the things, you should try it out and decide if you want to go Smart & Final Extra! to buy things. Over all my experience has been good.

Smart & Final had what we needed as well as a few other things we could use. We were able to find some nice produce as well as almond milk at a reasonable price. They did a great job wearing face masks and protecting customers, but the single sorting line that customers had to wait in to be sorted to the next cashier made it hard to social distance. We had a woman walk up behind us too quickly and so close to us that we had to ask her to step back and maintain a distance.

Must come and give credit where credit is due. Ive worked many years in customer service & dealt with many different people. But the cashier I met at Smart & Final in Clovis the other day was outstanding. His personality truly shines & he knows what customer service is and he delivers. I asked him if he was still required to wear a mask after seeing that he had a pin on that said vaccinated. He informed me, he likes the customers to feel comfortable with him so he wears the mask even though he is fully vaccinated. He was very polite and helped me in a timely manner. He answered questions and we had a short conversation about life, while I was in line. Very pleasant young man, his name is Dylan. I remembered this because of course I asked him if he was named after Bob Dylan and he told me no, but explained his mother was a large fan of 90210 & the late Luke Perry. All in all great customer service & a very polite young man you have working for you! Smart & Final Customer Service is on point!!

Great grocery there so many variety of all kinds of different stuff u wont find no where else. And fast check out clean super place.

Really friendly service and great selection of high quality products. By far the best smart and final in Fresno.I recently put in an order for salmon and a young lady by the name of Katie made sure that my order was made and that I was notified as soon as the shipment was delivered.These guys go above and beyond to make your experience great, very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. May I add, their music selection in the store will have you singing and dancing while youre shopping.This is my absolute go-to store when I am buying in bulk. I would say that this store has the best produce selection compared to other stores such as Walmart.I am a loyal shopper here and I never leave disappointed.

Went in for Coconut yogurt for my wife, and they carry every flavor but that one lol. Great store though, and friendly staff, so they still get five stars.

This is the second time I have went through Matts line and he is way more worried about whatever is on his phone and texting, than about the customer. I had to interact with HIM just to seperate Matt from his phone.Tired of the blatant lack of Customer Service. This is one of the best smart and finals i have been in. Very clean, always has alot of stock, the produce is the beat i have seen and the cashiers are always so friendly. They even have a bigger selection than most of the other stores i have been in.

The store was clean and well stocked. The early morning female cashier made me want to come back. She was so nice and friendly. It was a very pleasant experience.

Found everything I needed. Everyone wore a mask, there was disinfectant spray and wipes to wipe your cart down with when you came in the store. The prices were reasonable and the staff was courteous.

Store is clean and the staff is friendly but their selection didnt have nearly half the items I needed that were listed online. They also completely rid the store of the section for fruitsnacks and more processed snacks. Only one brand of organic fruit snacks, and the price on everything GREATLY exceeded the cost at other stores, some items DOUBLE their price elsewhere. Again the staff is great and the store is very clean but the selection of products and produce sucks for the high price on everything else.

Had what I was looking for :) feel bad for the new kid on the express lane. Which is kinda messed up.

This is the best grocery store in Clovis. Staff always wears their PPE, and they wear it correctly. The check-out is organized to keep people 6 feet away from each other, and they enforce their mask policy. If go there even if selection werent amazing. But it is. This is a good store.

I was speaking to a manager “Tony” at the Clovis store. I called to find out why the weekly ads were so hard to understand. The discount price is unclear because of the tiny print of how to get the discount sale price. He was not able to explain or help me understand. He was on a hurry seeming as if my call was unimportant. At the end of the call he was still unable to assist me and abruptly hung up on me. Rude! The prices shown on the ads are not the actual price unless you buy 4 participating items which is printed very tiny right below the item. Why is that? Tony made me feel that this call and me were not important. Is Smart and Final that big. Amazon and AT&T are more courteous and helpful.

I used to go to Walmart, never ever again. It would be wonderful if a customer could pre- order and check in, and then have the groceries brought out, to help with elderly and people who get sick easily.This store is clean, i can use food stamps, credit cards, debit cards. This right there beats the other store. The competitors dont except credit cards.This store is perfect for small or big families. We have 6, 2 adults and 4 kids, shopping here makes everyone happy and everyone finds exactly what they want to eat. The prices are great, watch for adds in the mail, there are always good deals.

Every time I shop at Smart and Final Extra on Shaw and Willow, I get good quality service! An employee named Madison has always been helpful and pleasant during my shopping experiences. Today, Garrett in produce helped me and was personable and professional. Overall, the staff and management appear to work well together.While I was heading to the registers, I overheard two managers speaking as they were observing the flow of customers being served. I heard one say that we need to get faster, so other called for an employee to work the register. As a customer, it makes me feel great when management recognizes a need and gets on top of it right away!

Still required to wear face masks, went to get a brisket, they had one left that was $90.00 and it was a bad cut, way too much fat. I know you need a good fat cap and some fat but the ratio was way off and it would have been wasteful to trim it and throw it out.They have really gone down hill on the quality of meat that they have. Dont blame it on meat shortages, thats not the case. Its supply and demand and raising prices is unwarranted.

My experience at smart & Final was a bit of a site. I found nats in my yellow onions as well as fruit flies on my onions. I talked to the store manager Jeff and he was very prompted on telling me the store will not buy fans to deter the insects from landing on customers purchases. Unacceptable

This is after the cashier had told him we went over the 25$ thats required to use the coupon.If I could get this place a negative five 🌟 I would.Smart & Final please honor your coupons.Ended up just returning everything, I WILL NEVER SHOP AT SMART & FINAL AGAIN!Update. 12/23/2019Thank you for the response, but I will no longer be shopping at Smart & Finals. So about a month or so ago, I went to the job fair they had at the veterans in Clovis. Here is the bottom line. I didnt make it to the second interviews. Why? Oh because Im pregnant. They can say thats not why, but thats what it was. I wasnt asking for insurance, I wasnt asking for maternity leave down the line, I was asking for a job. Pregnant women have to make $ just like everybody else. I am fully capable of holding my own even while pregnant. They didnt even ask me questions pertinent to the job. They merely looked at their questionnaire and told me theyd hand my application it to other smart & Finals. Then WHY HAVE A JOB FAIR? Talk about discrimination. You should give people a chance instead of assuming they wont be capable of performing basic job duties.

I would give a lower star 🌟 if possible. Very rude not the employees it was the security guard I wont be back to spend my grocery money....

This was a very nice and organized store. The staff was helpful and friendly and the product prices were a bargain. I was able to find everything I needed with ease and left feeling satisfied.

Prices are reasonable although not as low as Aldi, Winco, FoodMaxx, or FoodsCo. Still it has an excellent selection of items & is fairly fast in & out.

Love this new store. It has fresh fruits and vegetables. Its clean, well stocked and overall a nice fast shopping when time is short. The employees could be a little more friendly and they do help when asked, they just dont offer. Check it out for yourself.

Great store but a little expensive

On May 6 my wife and I were bullied by the assistant store manager Tony regarding wearing a face mask,I tried to explain my condition and that I have to wear a breathing machine during sleeping known as a CPAP and that underneath the ADA/Hipaa lawI am not required to wear a face covering per the governors directions, reported the incident to the district office of Smart and final no response within 24 hours. A federal report was filed

Everything was clean and organized. Great customer service. Some items are a little pricey. But it is enjoyable shopping experience.

I have shopped here for the last time. This was the second time I was rushed through the checkout and when I got home and reviewed my receipt I was charged more than the shelf price on seven of my items. This is mist annoying because 5 of the items I would not have bought. I wont take that chance again. From now on I will go to Costco. ☹️

Great place for a fairly newer store. Not my daily shopping place, but I go there occasionally to pick up a few things here and there. They have good deals sometimes and the staff is pretty friendly. The food seems fresh, the shelves are well stocked, and the entire place is kept very clean and neatly organized. Theres a surprisingly big selection of NON-GMO food which is one of the main reasons i continue to return. Overall, above average place to shop.

Not the same old Smart and Final. Tring to be a discount store, except they now have cheap brands (cheap quality to match the price). Product quality no where near the same. However, the store is usually clean and the staff is polite.

Its a wholesale store like any other stores, but I wish they stock in more inventory. Why provide a wholesale discount value when you dont even have enough of the items available in stock for the discount? I had to ask them to call other stores to check their inventories for it. Had to travel around. Not so happy about this when its a wholesale store. Just a regular store. Btw I think her name is Maria, a worker there. She was understandable enough to know I was in a rush too. Thank you!

Not sure if these are just seasonal but the cheese cake bites from Smart and Final are to die for. Served chilled and they are heaven! I cant decide which flavor is the best. Guess I will just have to continue sampling until I figure it out.
