I consider it a gem of Clovis for myself and I’m really glad a friend introduced me to them sooner rather than later once I moved here.The people working there have always been friendly to approach and ready to help in any way they can.You won’t find another coffee shop like them in Clovis. Actually you should probably go there now and get a good cup of coffee.

I attended their first tea tasting and pairing class last Saturday and it was amazing! The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much about the intricacies and history or different teas. We also got to sample 9 different teas and pair them with delicious baked goods. Awesome event, 10/10 would recommend to any and everybody, Blackwater is GREAT!

Even during Covid, they provide a safe, welcoming environment for both socialization and work. I adore working in coffee shops for the shared experience and serenity. I had my headphones in and working, and one of the baristas came up to offer me a free drink that another customer had not picked up. She even approached me slowly to make sure I saw her, understanding I was working. I will be back.

The coffee is good! The space is clean and modern and beautiful and the people are nice! Yay Clovis coffee shop!

I only go about once or twice a month, but always enjoy it. I tend to try “new” lattes since I have an espresso machine at home. The blueberry scones are literally to die for if you haven’t had one yet. Service is always fast and the staff as a whole is very accommodating, especially for us that have children.

Great little spot to come and either chill out for a bit or be productive. Coffee is great and their syrups are house-made including a sugar free vanilla! Top it off with the childrens high chairs if your little one wants to recharge and this place is a solid retreat from your stressful day.

Esthetically pleasant visually. No bright lights. Big clean restrooms. Spacious sitting area. Fast service. Nice variety on the menu.

I live just minutes down the road, so ordering my coffee through the app is incredibly fast and easy! Its always ready by the time I get there. While I drink plenty of coffee here, Ive also grabbed lunch on occasion. Great quality quick lunch! Such friendly employees and inviting atmosphere.

What’s not to like about this place? Great environment, friendly staff, and a menu that rotates just enough bringing new specials to the forefront. A decent place to sit and get some work done, or simply unplug and read a book. I love that they have added outdoor seating as well!

Certainly, the coffee and tea selection is superb, the pastries and sandwiches are outstanding and the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing, but its the STAFF that makes this place so special! EVERYONE there, to a person, is helpful and kind, cheery and friendly! Blackwater is, without a doubt, my FAVORITE part of Clovis, New Mexico! Be sure to try their turmeric and ginger hot tea, my favorite!

I have enjoyed Blackwater coffee since I’ve lived in Clovis. It is always quick when I need to place a pick up order on the way to work and the staff is always pleasant. They have a nice indoor area and cute merchandise/shirts to shop from. I have not tried the food. Would definitely recommend!

Great Coffee! Had to wait around after getting COVID-19 vaccine so I went and had some very delicious coffee!

Recently opened Blackwater Coffee Co. located in the shared building with Roden Smith Pharmacy. They are on the west side with connecting doors to the pharmacy (for your prescription pickup wait convenience). Open for breakfast and lunch with coffee all day, this local company looks to be doing things right. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. The building is beautifully designed with extra high ceilings creating an open airy space that just feels comfortable.The location is convenient for those that traverse Llano Estacoto daily. Ample parking. Easy in and out. And best of all, unaffected by the Prince St construction mess.

Will miss this spot and it’s people so much when we move soon! Great coffee, the friendliest baristas, atmosphere that feels warm but you can still get some space to yourself, everything you could want in a truly local coffee shop 🥰

I asked the barista Maurissa to surprise me with a drink and she nailed it!!! My new favorite drink is now a hot coconut breve with half syrup! I was skeptical because I don’t like coconut, but it’s so good!!! Do yourself a favor! These guys know what they’re doing!

Nice to have a spot like this in Clovis. My harvest chai latte was tasty, can’t vouch for their coffee yet, but this place would be so much better if the food had flavor. Soup and sandwich were just bland. This would be a go-to spot for me if they could step up their food game a notch.

Great local coffee place, something Clovis was in dire need of. And sure, the owner could have done as little as possible to start raking in money, but they took the time to do it right. Good decor, good infrastructure, thought out menu, helpful staff, and a great all around atmosphere.

I am never disappointed when I order from Blackwater! The coconut spritzer and honey cinnamon breve are my favorites! The staff is always so welcoming and incredibly professional. Using the app for pickup is one of my FAVORITE things about Blackwater as well!

Employees are friendly and welcoming and the Cali Melt was delicious. Also got an ice latte which was pretty good. Ill definitely be coming back because they have the loose leaf blueberry tea I love.

Wonderful atmosphere, great drink choices. Faves are the peppermint mocha and raspberry green tea. Selfishly I wish they were open later and had more space to accommodate studiers, this would be my new spot. Hip, fun place to have a quick meeting!

I dont understand how they have so many good reviews when their service is so horrible. I tried placing an order on the app but theres no guest option, it was making me create an account. I tried doing that and it still wasnt working but wouldnt give me an error as to why. So I call the number that is listed on their sign that says call for carry-out and the girl that answered was extremely rude. I told her the situation and she said well just come inside. Theres a reason I was trying to order online or by calling, if I could go inside I would.

I must admit I am a Starbucks guy. This place however, gives them a run for their money. Delicious drinks and the breakfast bagel is divine! Great location off the beaten path and fair prices. Clovis may be getting a Starbucks, but who needs it when you have this hidden gem? Start your day off here you will not regret it! Delicious!

This is a great coffee shop. Weve been traveling around NM and Texas and havent always had luck finding a coffee shop with high-quality coffee beans and baristas who knew how to make a dry cappuccino or even a latte. But Blackwater Coffee did both well. We were only passing through, but this could become a regular spot for us if we lived close by.

Blackwater Coffee CO. In Clovis NM has an incredibly cozy feel in the atmosphere. Very good products. A nice place to sit and read a book, but also a great place to meet a friend for coffee.

She called me by name and just went above and beyond for me. Appreciate the customer service fo sho. Taking Clovis to the next level of customer service is long overdue and it has started with this business. They support other local businesses and artists and what is more New Mexico True than that?

Its a nice coffee shop. One of those trendy ones with different stools and sugar dispensers. Its a large dining area and it wasnt very busy when I stopped in. I wonder how much business they get being next to a pharmacy. Usually large coffee shops are near major retail locations; this one is kind of on the outskirts. But very nice coffee and nice service.

We are from a bigger city and this place reminds me a bit of home with their style and atmosphere. The coffee, prices, and the location are all great. Also they offer a military discount, score!! The cold brew is my FAV 🤗

Love the ambience and the service is really good. One time their system went down and offered the drink free but I stayed there for a bit and system went up so I paid. The gesture is well noted though! Thanks ladies!

Drinks are well made and atmosphere is modern. But pastries are over toasted, cold, and tastes like other food being prepared.

Stopped in here on suggestion from my daughter. She said they have pinon flavored coffee so I had to try it. I had a caramel macchiato made with it and let me tell you, it was the best cup of coffee Ive ever had. Went there again the next day. The people there are super friendly and they try very hard to make sure you feel like youre the most important customer of the day. I highly recommend this place and I can not overstate how much I loved it.

The atmosphere is comfortable. The service was impeccable and friendly. The hubs said his hot chocolate was the best he ever had. My hot caramel macchiato was superb. The blueberry scones... unmatched. Our 1st experience was fantastic.

I tried to go with my friend for her birthday today, and they had the doors locked 15 min before they said they were closing. I don’t know why they would do that, but I am doubtful if I actually want to go try them out now. Why any business would close early- especially a coffee shop, where it takes two minutes to make a drink- I don’t understand or appreciate. Probably not going to go back.

I am extremely disappointed in Blackwater. In the past it was a great place however today I decided to treat myself and get an iced latte. I left with my iced latte and down the road took my first drink. Immediately there was something slimy and gross that came through the straw. It almost looked like mold, and at the bottom of my cup were a ton of coffee grinds. Grinds should never be in the bottom of an espresso drink. If had just been the grinds maybe I could have dealt but something gross and slimy is not acceptable. And just because I feel so annoyed that I could enjoy something I was treating myself to...why are they using bendy straws?? So tacky. I also noticed it was extremely dirty underneath the food prep area, if thats dirty maybe the machines being used to make espresso and the flavors are too... I took photos of both all the grinds and the mold looking thing that came through my straw.

For a good and strong cup of coffee there is no better place in town to visit than Blackwater Coffee Co

The Tea here was quite good, nice atmosphere, very relaxing. I would avoid the food here though, I got a bacon chicken bagel and the chicken was so old and dried out I couldnt even bite through it :/ I ended up just eating the bagel and tossing the chicken...
