My son bought a pair of work boots here. They have a lot of boots and shoes. There is a lot of stock to choose from. The prices are the same as any other shoe store. I will go back.

Weve been coming here for years. The staff are always extremely helpful and expert at matching what we need and want with their extensive selection. I couldnt recommend them more!

This is the worst shoe business I have ever dealt with. They are crooks. When you buy shoes they dont tell you that if you wear them even once that you cannot bring them back. The return policy sign might be near the register, but they should warn you that you will not be able to bring the shoes back. I paid $174 for Merrell Tactic boots that I only wore once because they hurt my legs and feet so bad I could barely walk. When I tried to return them to get a refund the manager was rude and said he couldnt sale the shoes to anybody else, so I would not be getting my money back. The shoes were only worn once. Why couldnt you just clean them off and put them back on the shelf. That doesnt make sense to me. So basically I paid $174 for a pair of shoes that I cant even wear. I am suing this store.

I have had this experience with the sales lady in the past. Gave her the benefit of the doubt, we all have off days. She is totally void of any friendly service, talked down to my elderly, dementia mother and use firm commanding comments to her while assisting with her trying on shoes. Attempted to talk us into shoes that were not fitting her well. I had enough, told my mother we were leaving. I informed the sales clerk that I was sorry we interrupted her day of employment, my mother did not deserve being treated in that manner and I wished her a good day. Was in another store later and wonderful, kind, patient clerk assisted us. Through our discussion she stated that she has had many complaints about the poor service at the Brown shoe store. I pray that the rude, unhappy sales clerk can find some peace and balance in her life to be a better human. I will never subject my mother to that again. May God bless her.

I had a much more satisfying experience today. Red Wing honored their year warranty for my damaged boots. I was able to use the credit towards boots and inserts for my high instep. After this experience I changed them from 1 to 5 stars. One employee was rude and implied that Red Wing WOULD NOT honor the year warranty. Which was the reason for my original low rating. She must have just been having a bad day. While Red Wings are a little more pricey than most boots, them honoring the year warranty is worth something to me. I will keep them in mind next time I need boots and I think you should too.

While a bit expensive, the shoes were extremely comfortable. The worker was able to quickly find the orthopedic insoles and shoes I needed.

Poor customer service and hours of operation could be a bit more flexible. Improve customer service (at least acknowledge customers and not lie to them) and you could earn hundreds extra income a day.

I was having a lot of achilles problems with my new balance 1080 sneakers. I talked to the staff and was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge of running shoes. I went to every sports store from Clovis to Portales and this was my last stop. I am so glad i went to this store. Ive been converted to the Brooks brand based on his recommendation. Get you running shoes at this store.... you wont be disappointed!
