I went in to get canvas fabric to start my bag making business. The staff was helpful to lead me where I could find the fabric, but they seemed a little reluctant to willingly help me. The one cutting fabric was a sweetheart! So was the cashier! Cutest hair ever, and she was so respectful and inclusive when I was talking to her about pride! The fabric was a little messy, but no big deal. The whole place was clean and well laid out! One of my more favorite Joann stores!

I get pretty good service here. They will even go the extra mile to help me with special orders.

This was my first venture into a store not selling food. I had some time to kill and wanted to see beauty. I love fabric in all its variations. Corny, I know. But I spent a lovely hour there just walking around and viewing all the fantastic colors, patterns and feel of the various types. I was truly impressed with their variety. I managed a House of Fabrics in the early 80s and still sew when I have a chance. Staff were pleasant. Store was neat and clean.

I love this store! They have a super great selection of craft products. If Michaels is your go-to for all your crafting needs, this place is worth checking out. If I cant find it at Michaels, I can always find it here.

Nice selection of fabrics, notions, patterns, yarns as well as various crafting supplies and tools. Sewing, quilting and sergers available for sale too. The only thing is there is practically non-existent floor help for novices and advanced beginners. Personally I became overwhelmed by the vast array of fabrics available for quilting and the quilt patterns are super jumbled so its hard to pick one and let that dictate your fabrics. I really would have appreciated if they had someone whos sole job was to guide and inspire clients, to be there for when someone like me has a rough idea so they can point me in the right direction or say that sounds similar to blah blah let me show you what youll need. They would need to be friendly and knowledgeable. The do have people cutting the fabric and selling the machines but with the variety of different fabrics, a floor guide would be helpful. Quality fabrics but price is a bit high. It always looks like they are running out of fabric. But they always have something on sale. Plus they Always have coupons.

Its a smaller store than your typical Joann or Michaels Craft. But theyve got a good amount of bolt fabric choices.

They have such a huge variety of fabric, I absolutely love it, however they didnt have the one I needed or anything similar for that matter. I do know where to go to get the fabric for my next project, so it wasnt totally a wasted trip. My only other, minor, issue is that, for me, the prices are a bit high.

Very nice and worker at the cut counter helped my choose the best fabric combination for my fleece blanket and at checkout helped me we my coupons. This was my 2nd time going both experiences were good.

Jo-Ann in Clovis is probably number one on my list when it comes to customer service. Not once have the employees blown me off, treated me less than awesome, or have shown any attitude. Theyve always helped me when I had questions. The store is clean and I love the sales.

Every time I come in, everyone is very nice. They always greet me the second I walk in, theyre very polite, and extremely helpful. Im not knowledgeable about making clothing or anything like that for sure, so when I came in and told the lady at the sewing desk that, she helped me figure out how to take measurements, got my measurements, and figured out the math to be able to have enough fabric to use for me. Thats excellent customer service.

I didnt get the workers name, but he was very informational on the items I needed to use for sewing. Other than that, I attached a picture of how this young lady parked her truck in front of the store. Im like, really?

The parking lot getting into this store is so much easier than the Blackstone location. The wait time at the cashier was much faster as well. The 2 stores do not carry the same inventory so I had to go to both to get what I wanted.

Decent place! Occasionally hard to track down a worker, and hard to find stuff without one. Also good to use coupons when you can. I got some cosplay foam here, but they often seem to run out of it, so the best thing is to buy online and do in-store pickup

Today was the first time I have been to a Joann Fabrics and Crafts store. My husband is a physician and has asked me if I could try to make a few masks for him in this time of need. Therefore, I thought Joann’s was the place to go. Immediately after walking in I was welcomed into the store by a man which I appreciated. I was wandering around for awhile and not one employee asked if they could help me find something. Instead they were chatting LOUDLY with each other throughout the store. Saying things like “I didn’t get a job at a craft store to work this hard”, “I hope we’re not doing the masks tomorrow. I think today is the last day for us”, “I am not staying late tonight because my boyfriend is coming over and I don’t want to”. Another employee thought it was appropriate to tell a customer she wishes she could wear a mask but Joann’s told her she couldn’t because it will scare customers away. When I politely asked that same employee where I could find elastic she rudely told me they don’t have any and if they did it would be isle 29 but I don’t need to even check because they are out. She didn’t ask what size or type or kind, what I was making. She didn’t offer any help whatsoever. I went to isle 29 and found plenty of elastic that I could use if I just cut it right. I do understand that it’s a stressful and busy time but it is also a stressful and busy time for families of health care workers as well as many who may be out of work. I felt so discouraged when leaving there and am disappointed in this store and the standard the employees have. I spent quite a bit there to be treated rudely and will be ordering my other supplies from a different craft store. Although I went to Joann’s because I was proud that they were donating masks and supplies to healthcare workers I do not believe their employees share the same sense of commitment and community as the corporation.Best of luck to the employees... obviously they’re struggling and need rest.

Store was clean, which for a craft store says a lot . As a bonus the cashier matched my sarcasm and actually looked up from her scanning to acknowledge that I was in fact a real person, also rare these days. All around pleasant experience, oh yeah they had a promotion that netted a 50% discount on the hard-to-find item I was purchasing. So from this lost in the craft store husband Joann gets 5 stars.

The Clovis store was wiped out of fabric and the checkout clerk needs remedial training on how to ring up sales, so wasted trip. The Blackstone store had a decent fabric selection but the cutting table had 3 employees chatting with each other and 1 person cutting while people waited in line

Went here to find suede material. Wasnt sure if Joann Fabric would have what we needed in the right shade. Was delighted they did & at a price that was reasonable. So glad they had a store near where we were at.The customer service was top notch they led us to the place with what we wanted rather then just telling us they showed us where it was. Great experience! 5 stars.

I had a curbside order a couple of weeks ago and the girl who answered the phone was super nice. She was also the one who brought out my order. This store is always clean and Im just happy every time I leave this store.

I started going to this location only because it is closer but that changed rather quickly. I found that not only was this location MUCH cleaner but it was much better organized. If I need anything, an employee can easily be found and asked. Despite what others may have said, Im my experience they cut through everything quickly. A lady once order almost 1000$ in fabric and it was all cut in a timely manner. (for that volume.)

Always my go to fabric and crafting store. They have all the basics for kids craft and more at Joanns. They match competition coupons, give military and teacher discount, as well as have many deals every week. A staple visit for the crafty folk.

Shopped yesterday for fabric/supplies for 2 projects. When I got home, I noticed that my 50%off coupons were taken off the 3 lowest priced items instead of highest priced. Returned today, and Kandace fixed everything. Great customer service like this is why I continue to shop at this location. Thanks again!

Their staff even pulled up coupons on my phone to be extra helpful. Their customer service makes them stand out compared to Michaels.

While theyre great with their coupons, the store is messy. They have a nice selection of fabrics but its challenging to shop in that area. Theres also many bolts that sit behind the cutting counters that shoppers cannot get to.

Just came out of the store. The experience while shipping was ok, waiting and checking out not so much. Employee by the name of Martha was rude and sarcastic. We waited for an hour outside with my grandmother. When it was our turn to get into the store I had to stay behind because I allowed my grandmother to go first. When she (gma) asked me to go in with her Martha snapped at her and very loudly said no, only 3 people at a time. I get it, these are difficult times. Were all trying to get through this together as a community. If you cant provide customer service the right way then the job isnt for you.

I love craft stores I really really do but when I came to this store the staff 3 different staff members to be exact were brushing me off not at all responding to me when I asked for guidance and help on finding a few objects it was really odd how not 1 member in that store seem to want to help it was around 7p.m dont know but I sure didnt feel that I got at all the satisfaction that I always get just walking up to the doors usually of a craft store and definitely didnt even think in my mind that I might ever want to go back it was a really bad experience and it was all because of the staff

Not enough employees to help. Also it was very hard to find the items that I was looking for I had to keep asking the lady at the cutting table where things were. Would be nice if they had some kind of a sign in front of the store when you come in that says where certain items are.

Unfortunate decision that the staff at this location not to honor an important Buy online, PICK up in-store order for me. Even after explaining situation only hours the same day I finally recd the OK to pick-up my order they refused to honor it as originally ordered! Subsequently, after filing complaint to corporate office, I received email stating my original Buy online,pick-up in store order WOULD BE HONORED. but I feel like that store does not treat customers fairly and now my granddaughters birthday has passed & that was the ONLY store in Fresno that CARRIED it...they totally blew it as far as Im concerned!

I spend waaay to much time in here because the sales crew are knowledgeable, friendly and ready to help. I forgot the name of our cashier (sorry) but she had huge gages in her ears...she is a welcoming presence, her energy was amazing

This store seems to have a lot more fabric choices than the Riverpark store, but has less selection on everything else. If you are looking for fabric for your project, come to this store. If you are working on a non-fabric project, you will be better off going to the Riverpark store.

To preface my comment, I am a guy who enjoys sewing and own three machines. I started off making my backpacking equipment (i.e. pack, down bag and jacket...etc) and various other projects. That said, I get a kick out of the looks I get when I walk into the store and ask for a specific sewing notion or fabric for one of my projects. This place has been my Go-To place for all my sewing projects!

Its a great Joann. Their selection of items is great. But when you are trying to look for something specific they dont seem to have enough people working to be able to help you.
