I was quoted $69 over the phone for my part got charged 125.65 .. went to pick up my car drove home. Next morning was going to work and all kinds of lights came on. And it didnt have no power Of course not open Saturday. Call Monday and they said it wasnt related to ignition switch they put on .they had to relearn my key ..towed my car to Lubbock long story short had to relearn my car it wasnt reading my throttle body. I paid bender $520 to fix and had to pay another $100 to relearn my car but they say they didnt do nothing ...lost my business

Everyone was unprofessional and dishonest, told me one thing and went behind my back to fill out paper work a different way. Actually did everything illegally so I had to return the vehicle and get my old one back, which they sold illegally so I had to wait for them to get it back. Do not buy a vehicle here, do not sell a vehicle here, do not do any business here. Highly illegal with everything they did to me.

If I could leave zero stars I would! I am very disappointed with the service I have recieved through the service department. You would think being one of the only car dealerships in Clovis they would give top notch service. Sadly, I was mistaken. My wife brought our certified preowned vehcile we bought through them to get a leak fixed, but the service team told my wife in a condescending way that it was no big deal it will be okay. That was not the case. We are about to PCS overseas and we bring our vehcile in to do one last oil change before we ship it. As we brought it in the service team goes on to say there is a leak they need to fix and its going to take over a week to fix it. Mind you we tried to fix this same leak weeks before and they just pushed it off. Now my wife and I scrambling to figure out what we need to do because we leave next week and we have to get a lot of preparation done to the vehicle before we even ship it. Long story short the service team at bender let a customer down and did almost nothing to help make this situation better, but talk down to my wife like she is incompetent person having no idea what she is talking about. This could of been prevented and now it is looking like we will not be making our appointment to bring our vehcile overseas. So I would definitely think twice about doing business with this company. Spend the extra money and go to a dealership that cares about their customers in Lubbock or Amarillo. I sure wish I would have and maybe I would not be having such a huge headache.

Im reading these reviews and that have to be having someone write them for them. We brought our car into the service dept because we were having trouble with our transmission. We agreed to have them look at the car., The service dept couldnt tell us if we were low on fluid or overfill on fluid unless they did and transmission oil change, yes we would have paid for that.They are cons, stay away. Last time I check thats what the transmission dipstick is for..We left and took it to a dealer in Amarillo..
Its expensive! Paid diagnostic fee to be told it could take a year for the part to arrive! The people were friendly and it didnt take long to get what they could finished but my issue was safety related and I didnt even have options.
I just called and talked to the Jeep parts guy about getting nitrogen valve caps that were from the factory on my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee because the tire shop had lost two of them and the parts guy was ultra rude and told me they were aftermarket, even though I tried to explain to him it was the original wheels and tires, he wasn’t even trying to listen to me so I called Desert Sun in Alamagordo where the Jeep was purchased and NOT ONLY did they have them in stock but they also apologized for the Bender parts guy rude behavior and had two new valve caps sent to me in the mail. So I guess Alamagordo isn’t too far away to have my service done.

What a great experience buying a new truck. No tricks and no games were played. We drove from Albuquerque prepared for the Albuquerque dealership games and experienced nothing but honest business. We purchased our Jeep from Bender a few years ago but after years of dealing with the service center I highly would NOT recommend them and even friends and family have stopped using them. We had an engine issue and they tried saying it was our fault, we took it to the next town over and they had it fixed with the warranty in no time.
I’ve used Bender Dodge and Bender Honda’s service department, both have been excellent experiences. James looked up my Ram care online for me since I didn’t bring my card and took care of my scheduled service quickly.

Even still my warranty should cover a diagnostic test, but they don’t seem to think so ! Never again will I go through them for another car or for service EVER AGAIN!! I cant really a determination about this place. Just dont take any teenagers there before they turn 18yrs. So this story continues. Their job is to hustle the buyer, use the pitch, for those who understand. After trying to get someone to talk to me about, refinancing, hail damage, license plate and being ignored to the point that they refer you to the owner of all three stores, Brice. Basically the conversation went, after being cut off from talking and making a point, his response in short was, too bad, so sad, Im glad we had this moment, have a nice day. Well, most people dont believe in religion and others just go thru the motion. After dealing with this dealership not by choice, left a bad taste in my mouth, and as it is said, karma is always making new friends. My take on this is, God has a way of making His presence know. You have my prayers Bender.

Heres another chapter to this sad story. I had another dealers service center finally replace the axle seal (since Bender apparently couldnt do it the right way) and they discovered something Bender seemed to miss or not care about. The axle its self was damaged by a tool used to remove and replace bearings and seals preventing any new seal from being installed properly. Bender may not have caused this damage but, they definitely chose to ignore it and not tell me about it. Then they forced their new seal over all that damage and destroyed the seal installing it. Told me everything was good and wanted to be paid for it. Now Im finding out the truth and seeing what caused the seal they installed to leak and all they have to say is we didnt do it and I dont know if it was like that already. Pretty horrible answers to go with the terrible work. If a pilot got in a plane I just inspected and it aborted take off because of a catastrophic leak and I actually said I dont know if it was like that already Id be fired, never work on planes again and maybe even be in jail. But, apparently this is the kind of normal business Bender operates and because they ignored or failed to report this high amount of damage to my trucks axle no new seal can be installed without leaking and it looks like I need a whole new axle. And is Bender going to pay for anything or fix this at all? Of course not, theyre already denying the whole thing and have even stopped talking to me about it. Guess its time to call the lawyer back and tell him to just press on with the law suit we prepared months ago. All for a seal they couldnt install properly...so sad. Ill keep you all postedChapter one: Worst service center Ive ever experienced. Basically they did some work on my truck and the very next day the parts they installed failed and even fell off. Here I am going on three months later still trying to get them to fix it but they refuse to warranty their work and want me to pay to re accomplish everything. Besides the brakes failing that they replaced and bled the axle is now leaking from a seal they replaced and even though they claim my alignment was good I actually have bad tie rods and bushings making the steering wheel feel completely disconnected at times. Yet Bender says its good and the alignment is straight. They bled my brakes after replacing them but the pedal still goes to the floor, my AC blows humid hot air after they replaced a line and re charged the system and the axle seal they replaced isnt installed properly and is pouring fluid all over my new brakes. So of course Bender wants me to pay again to replace the brakes and another seal and work on the AC and they claim my alignment is still good. My truck isnt in one piece after going to them and is leaking and has the same issues and more since seeing them. If they guaranteed there work and would pay for warranty items and just fix it the right way my truck would be safe for these Winter months and wouldnt still be in the shop after three months of fighting with them to just make my truck safe. Bender charged me over $4K for these repairs and didnt fix any of the major issues which I still have. I contacted the Chrysler Group to file a complaint and get them involved but they said Bender is a privately owned dealership and the company cant do anything in regards to the dealerships behavior or methods. So now Im getting legal counsel and consulting with a lawyer. I have to get my truck fixed and safe somehow. If you live in or around Clovis NM and need work done on your vehicle that local garages and shops cant do avoid Bender and go to Lubbock or Amarillo for everything. Trust me even if you have to have your vehicle towed there itll be worth it to avoid Benders service center.
If I could rate a 0, I would. I came to this dealership to get a oil change. They informed me that my brakes needed to be replaced. So I said ok, got the job done. The same day,on my way to school, my brakes completely failed on me! I was terrified! I have never had trouble with my brakes. I was better off before coming to them and they charged my $650! I ended missing half my class, my trip the next day, and an additional day of work. All they could say was we apologize, but we dont do anything to make up for inconvenience, just redo it. This was more than just an inconvenience, in case they did not notice. Even, the owner was very uncaring! The car sales dept. need more than the service dept. I wouldnt come to this dealerships service dept. if it was the only one left in America!

The worst car dealer Ive ever deal with bar none! They sold my daughter a used car and totallyscrewed her over the salesman told them the car was hers then 7 weeks later calls her after she canceled tags and insurance on her trade in car and had insurance on the new one. Then when I call the sales manager he and the finance manager are total jerks about the whole situation. How do you allow someone to take a car for 7 weeks then say you cant finance them a week maybe but seriously 7? Really good business we will never go there again and suggest if anyone does they are very careful it cost her $800 for this and still needs a new car! Buyer Beware!
A bad experience has a salesman that with lies sells the cars although you have questions and more if we are single women abuse us be very careful when they come to this place.i remain a super high payment in my 2015 and ask if I have down later I lowered the payment and the seller said yes and it like. I don knowhe did with the number to pass the credit. And he fun of course he already made his sale.

Car got a check engine light a week after I bought it. They refused to honor the warranty I bought and told me it takes a month to go into effect. After a month I took it in and was told oh no theres no warranty contract for you. And was assured id have a refund in 48 hours.. been 4 days no refund in sight yet. Oh and they say if I want my car fixed its gonna cost $2500. Yep, real great service there. I can also attest for the trash talking, while it wasnt to me personally I definitely heard several of the employees doing it while I waited 5 hours for my car to not get fixed by thier service department.

If I could give them negative stars I would give them at least 150 of them. It’s been over 60 days and I have no license plates. I called them and informed them I paid $150.00 for them to file the paperwork and mail me my plates. When I called the tax clerk, Gina, said it’s not their fault. They only mail the paperwork. I asked for a refund of half because I’m having to take care of what they hadn’t. I also informed her I’d be filing a complaint with the New Mexico dealership regulation. Her response was “good luck with that” and hangs up. THE ABSOLUTE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

I bought a pre-owned vehicle from Randy at Bender Dodge 10 months ago and was disappointed to discover that they sold me a LEMON! I was told at the time it would be a good idea to purchase an extended warranty and did so. The ext. warranty increased my payment by $100/ month and they didn’t cover any of the repairs that lemon needed. I spent over $13,000 on that LEMON in the past 10 months and asked Bender if they could help me out and they were unwilling to do anything! They hardly tried to help me get out of the truck! I would advise AGAINST going to any BENDER dealership for any vehicle purchase as they are overpriced and uncaring! Worst vehicle purchase of my life!
If I could give them no stars then I would. I took my truck in to have the intake manifold replaced and they put the wrong one on there. So I took it back to have it fixed and they held my truck for a week and made no attempt to make contact with me. After multiple attempts of trying to get a hold of them they told me that they werent going to fix their mistake. These guys dont know how to do their job. Horrible work and customer service
Terrible service department experience. Worst customer service I have dealt with to date. I had to drop my 2015 Ram off for 3 separate warranty related issues while I was out of town. The service manager exploited my situation by having my car in the shop for 11 days to get the warranty work completed, tried to void my manufacturer warranty, then, when my wife went to pick up our truck, he charged her $200 for an oil change I had a contract for, and after all was said and done I still had a check engine light 20 miles after it was picked up from the dealer. When I returned to address these issues I spoke to the service manager directly and he was both unappologetic and unwilling to correct their issues that cost my family despite the fact that I still have a check engine light immediately after the service centers work. Do not use this dealership.
Run away! Brought my sons 2008 Dodge Charger in for service (son was stationed at Cannon AFB, Clovis, NM). It was close to 60,000 miles, so I asked what the recommended services were for the car, and they indicated an oil change, transmission oil change, and new air filter, to which I agreed (approximately $250). They also offered their multi-point safety inspection along with the service. Later that afternoon, I picked up the car. My first red flag was that one of the tires still indicated low pressure (wouldnt that have been picked up during their safety inspection?). The checkoff sheet for the inspection was also blank (a prior service included the same type of inspection sheet, which at least had been checked off). My next stop was the car wash, where, when cleaning out the car, I found a receipt from 6 months prior, where the exact same service had performed -- and only 2,500 miles had been driven between the two services! An oil change I can understand, but one would think that they would have seen on their computer that the transmission was just serviced a couple of thousand miles prior and indicated as such (saving me a $175 or thereabouts).I will take some responsibility for not keeping better track of what was being done to the car, but isnt that one of the reasons that you take it to the dealer -- so their computer system can keep track of that type of thing?Of course I drove back to the dealer and spoke with the service manager. He offered that the guy at the counter could have pulled that up on the computer, but it was on a different screen and he was kind of a new employee, so he didnt do that -- and thats my fault? Jiffy Lube pulls that info up in their sleep when you pull into their facility. He offered me a free oil change in the future -- gee thanks!Fast forward 3 months later, Im back in town and check the oil -- 3 quarts low (the car doesnt leak, nor does it burn oil -- it had only been driven about 2,000 miles since the dealer allegedly changed the oil/filter). So now Im suspicious as to whether the transmission was ever serviced either.Save yourself some trouble if you are in the area and drive to the dealer in Portales.
I have bought 3 vehicles from here and have always had excellent service. I also get my vehicles serviced here and have never had any issues. I am currently thinking about trading in my current vehicle for a new model.

My husband and I had been talking about upgrading my vehicle for a while. We went in to check about a vehicle I had seen online and in our price range. That particular vehicle was getting repairs done, but worked with Kress Pierce and he found a 2019 Jeep Cherokee on the lot. My husband and I were hesitant, but Kress and the Bender team worked with us to get financing to the same value that we had come in with. They worked referrals, military, and trade-in discounts. Even let us sign a borrow agreement and take the vehicle home that night while the paperwork was processing. Definitely recommend working with them for your next vehicle purchase!
Traveling from Colorado back to Texas and needed repair work. They drove to Lubbock to pick part up and had us back on the road by 3 pm.
Watch out, Service dept.... $95/hour on labor, vehicle specific knowledge level is sketchy. Broke a part on my vehicle - wanted me to pay to replace it. Understandably, I could have done the same thing. But, they pushed back my work order until the last few minutes of the business day to bleed my brakes (my appointment was for the am). Resulted in a rush job and busted hardware (could have been prevented, was able to confirm & test this). Not a bad problem, but I was still charged for the job even though it was incomplete/incorrectly performed.Disclaimer: Waiting on a followup to see if they make it right. If this review is still online, I never got a follow-up/solution.

Would not recommend going here. My girlfriend bought a 2014 jeep cherrokee here with 26k miles. Thought we were getting a good deal till the transmission messed up 4 times in 2 months. First 2 times they said it just needed an update, 3rd time a wiring harness was replaced. 4th time it left her stranded in Oklahoma and the dealer there has no clue whats wrong with it. This Bender dealer refuses to be of any help and told her to read her manual. We were told by the new car manager that the sales person (Taylor) doesnt work there anymore because these kind of things have been happening, if thats the case then they should have some type of responsibility. If we were still in Clovis i would park it in thier lot and burn it.

Sales person told me the deal was done only to call me while I was in my way to the dealership (100 miles away) and tell me the deal couldnt be done. They will lie to you and promise you what they cant deliver. When the issue was brought to the attention the manager was apathetic towards the whole situation, like I was wasting his time. There are other dealers in the area I would steer clear of this one if I were you.
