It seemed like I had stepped into an enchanted realm, not part of the world I know. The owner said the shop had been around for 70 years, but it seemed like the sort of place that could disappear into the mists with all around speaking with confusion that no such place could have actually ever existed. Nice selection of Scandinavian gifts and foodstuffs.

LOTS of things--jewelry, cards, mugs, towels, souvenirs, candy, cookies, etc. Workers very pleasant. Will be back again.

If you are looking for anything Scandinavian this is the store, in Cloquet, to shop at. There are shelves and racks, in 3 attached rooms, to find something from Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany... During the Holidays different people demonstrate how to create edible or decorative crafts from these areas. Its crowded inside but very well worth it.

Expensive and the owner is rude when Ive been in. She tried to close the shop when I first got there over 30 minutes early. Paid $7 for a bar of soap and never had any conversation. No thanks, or have a good day
