I went to NFM with the intentions of buying a washer dryer set & taking it home the same day. Eric was awesome and got me a set I know I will be happy with and I was able to leave the store with the set just as I wanted. I was nervous about having to secure the set in my husbands truck but the guys that loaded the set did a great job loading & securing it for me! I made it home safely with no issues. Thank you Eric & NFM team for great service!
I have had nothing but excellent experiences here. The sales people I have dealt with ( Frank, Doug and Christian) knew there stuff and didnt pressure any particular product. Go shop and compare but these guys are good.
Jake was very helpful. He answered all of my questions and took care of my order. The countertop will be less than half the price of the other company that gave me a quote. We are very satisfied.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The communication was terrible, the follow through was terrible, the honesty was terrible. Nobody to talk to with answers for delays and nobody to take accountability for lack of follow through. The only honesty I got was when they told me I saw you calling and I just did not want to answer.

Doug and his manager were fantastic. Doug was so knowledgeable and gave us ease with our buying experience. We had so many questions about dishwashers due to a bad experience and he knew so much it was a stress free experience. You can tell he has been doing this for a long time. I would DEFINITELY go back and purposely seek Doug out for assistance for anything we would need in the future. Highly recommend!

Service at the store was very good, he spent time with us and explained the difference between the refrigerators we were looking at.I live between Des Moines and Omaha so the refrigerator purchased was delivered from Omaha by a third party contractor.They were on is the only thing they did well. Not friendy at all and not interested in talking about anything. They were supposed to hook up the water line on the new refrigerator and deliver a new hose to use for hook up. They said they couldnt hook up water line because the shut off valve was not behind refrigerator.Period, end of story.Brought new refrigerator in, removed old one and plugged in new one. While walking to the front door they said it would take 3-4 hours for refrigerator to cool down. They left, end of delivery.I hooked up the water line with my current one not the one I was charged eight dollars for that they were supposed to use and leave to hook up refrigerator.Two days later I went to Des and spoke to salesperson about the rude and incomplete delivery. He had the nine dollar charge removed from account.I love Homemakers and Nebraska Furniture Mart and have purchased through them with deliveries (my Mom has, she made this purchase) for seventeen years. Never a bad experience but this was the bottom of the barrel.

Easy peasy! I researched (a Whirlpool range oven) ahead of time to know what we wanted. I was greeted by my sales person, he confirmed that it was in stock, I asked for and confirmed a specific delivery date, signed papers, and off we went! I love NFM, their customer service, and product availability. As usual, we will be back!
I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for appliances. We custom built our entire kitchen around the dimensions given to us by their salesperson and then discovered that they made a mistake and are now unwilling to take accountability for fixing the issue. I am not one to leave negative reviews but I am so disappointed with the service.
We went in looking to purchase an over the range microwave and after waiting and walking around for over 10 minutes and even lingering around the microwaves we decided to leave. There werent any other customers in the building and all of the sales reps were standing around chatting and watching television. Not a single one of them came over and asked if we needed assistance. Weve been Nebraska Furniture Market and Homemakers customers for years. Where has the customer service gone?!

We were returning chairs and nobody seems to have any kind idea what’s going on? The chairs should be assembled and when we got here of course chairs are NOT ready! We have to wait for them to assemble!Nebraska Furniture used to have great service? But not this time! Btw, we got hanged up twice

He gave me a ton of good options, helped me build a suite of appliances that were in stock, and was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions and the selection process. This is the first time we have purchased an appliance here. We were helped within a couple of minutes, purchased what we needed and out the door within 10 minutes. John in flooring was great at answering our questions. But then we stood in the appliance section, making eye contact with several associates, for 25 minutes without 1 person coming up to help us. We had our appliances picked out and were ready to spend $7,000- unfortunately we will be finding somewhere else to shop.

Weve shopped for years at NFM in Omaha. But we got a big surprise at this NFM store in the DesMoines metro area. This NFM does not stock furniture. For that see the Homemakers store in the area.
Salesperson, Mary, was great. Wish they had more washers and dryers in stock in the Des Moines location. Ended up with a great choice though with Marys help.
Quickly changing my previous 5 star review to one unfortunately. Mary the sales gal was originally SO helpful and awesome and is great at being a sales person. It simply just ends there.we had to deal with a product return/exchange and keep being told we need to deal with her. She absolutely refuses to return any calls to help rectify the billing issue we were having and nobody else can see to figure out what the hell is happening. After talking to four different people and being assured our delivery date would be unchanged we get told that since the billing issue hadnt been taken care of our delivery date was being pushed all because Mary was not communicating. Absolutely unacceptable, completely unprofessional and I am very sad to say Ill never be back despite the great prices.

I will say are sales person was just wonderful, BUT the delivery is crsp. Got a call the day before telling us when our dishwasher has to be delivered. Here we seat for hours and had to lock ate dogs up. And my kitchen is a mess to get our new dishwasher, but no. Called the store and they just kept saying sorry, but dont know where our delivery is. I still have a stove coming in September but now I dont want to buy from them again. Total nightmare. And I called and lest a message with a manager but but no call or anything. Nightmare. Will take my money and spending elsewhere. Done!
We’ve been to NFM several times recently picking out LVF for some rooms in our house. John has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the different types of products as well as installation recommendations for our DIY project. Very impressed with the customer service and they haven’t been pushy at all about making the sale.

We have been customers of NFM for many years however after our most recent flooring project with them it will be our last! Our salesman was amazing which is why I am giving 1 star but from there it went downhill. We picked out what we wanted for carpet in our whole house and looked forward to it being installed. The measuring guy came over and was told to measure the upstairs, main floor, and basement to include to stairwells. I went to the store to check on install etc and found out that the stairwell to the basement has not been included and carpet not ordered. I had to take time off work for that measurement to be remedied. The install day came the 3 man crew arrived at 7:30 and were to take a day and a half to do the install. They wanted Friday off so they completed it in a day. Because of their hurry many things were wrong: seams showing, carpet not tucked in, carpet on stairs not installed correctly and furniture damaged. I spoke with a manager about my frustrations the installers were scheduled to come back. When they came back they were not happy and told me (and our handyman) that they had never been called back. They told me there was nothing that could be done with the stairs that it was the fault of the carpet I ordered. They fixed the seam in one room but left without cutting a hole for a vent or addressing another obvious seam. Again I spoke with a manager, another installer with a different company came over and amazingly fixed the stair issue easily and quickly! However he could not fix the seam that was left due to how the carpet was installed. Now lets talk tile, took 3+ days to remove and install tile ok I understand if you only have 1 person for an area of 120 sq. ft (not removing area for cabinets and doors). The water lines to our washer were not installed correctly either and I ruined clothes not knowing the hot and cold were mixed up, or that they were leaking into a storage area in our basement. I had to speak with a manager again, broken tile was installed and areas of grout are missing and water issues. Tile installer was supposed to call and comeback to fix but he has been a no call no show! Through this hassle I had to take days off of work to try and fix issues, never was able to speak with the same manager or the store manager who, even with repeatedly asking for never was told their name. Beware, if you have problems! Trying to get things resolved in a quick efficient manner is just not going to happen nor do they really seem to care about your time, just their bottom dollar. Below are a few photos of the issues, I did receive a small compensation but for the time, hassle and fact that things are still not right it did not help.
Ordered Refrigerator in October. May get in July. They offer nothing for help. Had to buy a used fridge. A large company should be on top of things better. Other appliances came in April.... Communication is sub par.
The NFM customer service team was quick to help, very friendly. We knew what we wanted. They helped us immediately and within 15 minutes we were done and out the store. They were great to work with.

I ordered a new bedroom set in January and expected delivery was the end of May. I just received the 3rd email stating there was a delay. As of now it says I will not get my new furniture until NOVEMBER. That is 11 months!! and it is not even promised I will get it then! I call in to get an explanation and no one helps or explains anything. This is absolutely ridiculous

Went to look for a new washing machine to replace one that just quit. Noah was very helpful providing us with the information we needed to decide which new one to buy. The washer will be here and installed three days from now which is great.
Was well taken care of and helped in a timely manner. Only complaint is that after I paid I noticed a charge that shouldnt had been there. There was no problem getting it taken care of but since I paid a majority of it with cash, I now have to wait for the Omaha store to send me a refund check instead of getting it from the Clive, IA store. A little ridiculous I must say.

Horrible customer service!I purchased Fridge, Dishwasher, stove and microwave from them.Install team came to install the guys were extremely unprofessional. Placed my stove in the middle of my living room floor and walked out!My Dishwasher was not installed level, had them come out a 2nd time the guy argued with us that he couldnt fix it. Finally he slammed it around several times and fixed it.I used my dishwasher for the 1st time 2 days later and it flooded my unser the sink cabinet and warped my flooring in front of my sink. Nebraska furniture mart tells me this isnt their problem and I have to deal directly with the installer. Well I have no contact info for the installer as they hired them and sent them to my house!

I was frustrated talking to the group of people I was with fuming about the fact that they do not sell furniture. Their was only appliances in the store. The lady that was working put a customer on hold. To say we, “We don’t sell furniture.” When I commented about how their name was Nebraska Furniture Mart she made a snarky comment and said, “this isn’t Nebraska either go to Homemakers down the street.” I won’t go back to either after this very rude associate unless an apology is granted and reparations are made.

I had hardwood floors installed in my house. Sales person Brian was great and he made the whole process very easy. After installation by a contractor I had few concerns. First one, the carpet that was pulled to make transition had few spikes coming out that I hurt my foot stepping on them. Hannah seems not care about that.I was informed to use hammer to get the spikes disappear. The second one is was that all my vents sizes were cut too big and all of my vents were moving around. After contacting and speaking with Hannah I sent pictures. I was not able to get any response via email or phone after leaving many messages for her. Ledt message for supervisor wirh no luck. I will be making formal complaint. This is my first and last time using this company. Manager calles me ans we came up with an agreement. So I changed it to 4

The salesperson was very helpful with providing options for a dishwasher that was ordered in November for a Christmas present and the delivery was moved back 4 months. He was able to find a dishwasher that was in stock and now should be delivered within a week.
If I could give zero stars i most definitly whould do not reccomend working there my boss Matt was a terrible communicator and blamed his mistakes on me and fired me without actually contacting me I was told by other crew members I no longer work there and to leave zeroooooooooo starssssss for me hope they close down*edit* Matthew Edwards assultated me in the kum and go parking lot while I attempted to get the pay he owed me and they check was not even right at that I contacted the store and they told me theres nothing they can do

We don’t have a mask mandate in Iowa. If you would like to do business in Iowa, quit harassing your customers. I have several homes, a basement finish and a complete home renovation on the schedule so far for this year. Their will be no flooring or appliances in my projects from NFM and when I was asked to leave today, for not wearing a mask, I went and bought the same TV from Target at a lower price without any issues.

We have been wanting to get a freezer since before the pandemic. Unfortunately, once we went into lockdown in the spring of 2020, it seemed like everything was in short supply.A few weeks ago we went to another company whom we’ve done business with in the past. They didn’t have any freezer in stock but the associate there checked and found that we could have one delivered by early May. We were okay with waiting another month. We were just glad to be finally getting one.About a week after our purchase we were contacted and told that they were not going to be able to fulfill our order. Back to square one. Where we were a year ago.I checked today to make sure our purchase was refunded, as promised, and it was. I suggested to my wife that maybe we make the trip out to Nebraska Furniture Mart. It was going to be a bit of a drive to the other side of town but we both thought, “Why not?” We didn’t have high expectations that anything would be in stock, though.Upon getting there, we ran into Mary M., who immediately said that they had some in stock and some that they could easily get from Omaha. She pulled up what they had and found that there was the perfect size out on the floor. We walked 25 feet and there it was. SOLD!We had worked with NFM in the past and had an account. A few minutes later we were done and it’s going to be delivered in 5 days. That just made our day. Mary was quick, answered our questions, and was able to get us exactly what we wanted in a short amount of time.We will continue to be customers of NFM. We can’t wait for a new freezer to be delivered.
We were instantly greeted by Brian. He was very attentive and friendly! Even helped us choose our flooring for what was best for our color schemes in our house (based on what we had told him and the two we had already limited or down to). He did not try to persuade or up sell us into something different than what we chose.
Really like NFM for the service and value I get everytime I shop there. Ive done a high end full home remodel with all the appliances and half the flooring sourced from NFM. Great if you find something you like. Just try to discipline yourself so you dont walk out with too many fun new toys.
