I had an issue with the writing on a birthday cake I purchased from a different Hannaford location. The cashier, I think her name was Maddie, anyway she was very professional in her handling of the situation. Young girl: carried herself better than most adults. She explained to me she would have to get her manager. She also agreed with me that the writing on the cake was sub par. That made me feel better because who likes returning stuff? Not me! The manager came over, he okayed the return and explained to me the next steps... He was also great. I didnt need the double your money back; I just wanted to replace the cake, but the manager stayed true to Hannafords promise, and gave me double my money back. Overall the experience was a great one! Thanks Hannaford! Class act!

Its...a grocery store. They have food. The fresh bread is actually really good. I eat it with just a dab of honey and a little dunk in milk. I love their selection of cheese and deli meats. Their prices on red meat are great. If youre looking for an atmospheric shopping experience, though...my roomie and I jokingly call it Saddaford. The staff are great, though--they always seem upbeat despite the fact that they work in a synthetically lit yet still dim environment. (As someone who works in a similar environment, respect to those folk.) Keep up the good work, guys.

Its always a good experience at this store.Its about 13 miles from home but worth the trip.It would be great if there was one closer to Worcester.

You know what its a great grocery store they sell food and have a delicatessen and everything Pop-Tarts and corn flakes rice soda even pet food imagine that and fresh fruit sometimes :-)

They have very good selections decent prices and offer rhe Hannaford rewards program and digital coupons. These come in very handy and they customize your coupons to you. The staff is always super friendly and helpful.

In comparison to Shaws in town this store is always less expensive, and the food quality seems better. Employees are very friendly and seem to have some fun while working.

Best meat department around, produce, bakery and delicatessen the same luv going there....,stores like this are hard to come by. This is in a town that is tuff to please. I dont know how they do it. The most excellent staff you could ask for. Friendly, helpful and usually smiling. If the name brand product is out of stock, they will offer you too try their Hannaford brand equivalent as an alternative for free. The deli staff are super friendly as are the bakery and meat dept. When you go to check out, the ladies/gents up front are quick, pleasant, make sure I found everything I needed, chit chat asking me how my day is going and are almost always polite smiling and friendly with a please a well a thank you and have a great day. A+ service

I shop at the Clinton Hannaford every Sunday morning. Thinking today with everything going on and it being Sunday morning there would be no crowd. Well it was busier then normal and the staff were working hard to restock the empty shelf’s from the day before. During all this craziness they were taking the time to help people find things to include going out back to check to see if items that were not on the shelf’s had come in so people would have them. I watched as the lines increased at the register come out of an isle to help bag in order to try and keep things moving smoothly. Great job!!! To everyone at the Clinton Hannaford and Thankyou

Only suggestions- up the technology at the deli, increase staff at the deli, use digital hand held ordering input devices, like the ones Stop and Shop have had in operation for well over a decade!, add common but missing meats such as mortadella. General store inventory problem, no matter what day or time there is always a collection of items that are out of stock and this usually includes staple items, such as, say, eggs, store brand items as well. Improve this and 5 stars!

I find it unfortunate that a customer would get on here and single out my wife and call her a racist. Nothing could be further from the truth. She is a hardworking, dedicated employee, who has reached into her own wallet to help customers, who were short on their money for their bill. She has had racist comments made to her, and she never reacted. All of our sons friends, who are from South and Central America, can attest to the fact that she is not a racist, and I will not stand for that attack on her character. Its slanderous in the extreme and shameful to denigrate someone, who cannot defend themselves. The crew at Hannaford are all helpful and cordial. They are nice to all their customers, but sometimes they have to deal with rude and unreasonable people. Anyone, who has worked with the public, knows that happens. Ive been a customer for 18+ years and have never seen anyone treated disrespectfully.

Its a supermarket. Is what it is. The register employee at the self checkout(me!) was exceptional.

Cramped layout, a truly awkward parking lot, limited selection and the last two times I bought fish there the counter smelled. I go here if they have a really good sale on a particular produce item but drive to Leominster if I need almost anything else at Hannaford.

Surprisingly good produce for a supermarket in Clinton. Infact, it is a surprisingly good store in general. Its always well stocked and clean. The staff are usually very friendly and and if theyre not, they tend to be just quiet. Ive never had a rude cashier there. Wish I could say that about every other grocery store.

Extremely bad customer service from most of their employees, I bought a couple items and noticed that they had actually expired, I called the store and spoke with the manager he encourage me to return the expired items, for items that has not expired. Theres a particular Korean employee that has an extremely bad attitude with individuals that is not of her or Caucasian race. When an individual ask for help some of the employees will actually Point towards the direction of the items you asked about. The only reason Hannaford has received one star, is because in order to post a message or comment you have to rate that business. Bad Business people.

The best price and quality of groceries in town. Although the parking lot is hard to navigate and I do wish the hours were longer. Overall I am so happy to have this store local and easy to get to!

The Clinton branch had avocadoes on sale and I needed them in 2 days to make guacamole for a football party. The were on sale for .79 each and I bought 6. They were in the already ripe section. They were perfect! I just left them on my counter. Now I bought the same amt a week earlier for the same reason and they were also in the already ripe section @ the Leominster store in Massachusetts. I had to throw away 1/2 of all of them, due to alot of black spots and threading areas when I opened them. Those were very disappointing. Not sure if storage or shipping was involved or not....just some info. That I thought u would like to know, as avocadoes are important to me. I often buy them.

I really liked shopping at Hannafords until they merged with Stop & Shop. Thats when prices of about 75 to 80% of everything I bought went up. They still has better prices on cold cuts deli meats and much better produce and bulk meat but the five stars they would have gotten a year ago are now 4.

Smaller than some store but has all of the required items. Well staffed with enough registers open to keep things moving. Always have good interactions with the staff seems to be a good place to work.

Meat department has an awesome staff that offers meat order selections for reasonable prices

So disappointed with the produce at Hannaford in Clinton. Most of it is rotting and well past when it should be on the shelf. Or will rot shortly after you get it home. I have shopped here for years. But it may now be the last time that I do. I’ve actually pointed out produce that has mold on it, not once but several times. Tonight there was barely a bell pepper on the shelf that wasn’t wrinkled with age or our right rotting. There was not a single package of strawberries that was worth buying.

Good place, not a huge selection by any means but its right near the center of town so it makes for a nice walk down and back to get everything we need. Young high school kids work there which makes it a fun environment! They always seem to be joking around about something or are just really nice to you when your checking out which is a nice switch from Shaws which tends to have grumpy old people working for them lol

I bought baby formula at Hannaford in Clinton. When I opened it a week later the can was already opened and the aluminum seal was gone. I tried to exchange it but they would not take it back as I no longer had my receipt. Im not writing this to bash Hannaford, Im writing as a warning to other formula moms out there to please keep an eye out for opened cans, its impossible to see theres an issue until you open it at home. Also hang onto your receipts so you can get an exchange for this expensive item.

Ive been going here for years, it is clean, neat, with a fantastic variety of food, the produce is fresh and there are plenty of vegan options.

Great customer service, great selection or products and brands, and the produce section is always stocked and fresh, usually from local growers. The rewards program is wonderful if you use it regularly, it works on a quarterly basis and you earn by purchasing store brand products. The deli staff is very quick and helpful and the meat selection is second to none. Wonderful prices and amazing sales on a regular basis. There are also a book donation and a food pantry donation bins inside as well as coinstar and Redbox. Lottery is sold here as well. They accept cash, debit, credit, WIC, EBT, and personal checks. The customer service desk offers balloons, lottery, bill payments, and Western Union money grams.

Yes I go to Hannaford Supermarket its not as crowded as Market Basket I also get my prescriptions filled there they employ Down syndrome children which I think is phenomenal other than that Im kind of sad that Stop & Shop bought it out because the prices are going up but theyre still under Hannafords Supermarket
