No inside pick up but outside contact was pleasant and efficient! My order was called back to Warehouse and brought to my truck within minutes. They even helped me load it.Very satisfied.

Just wanted to share what a great experience i had with Grainger few weeks ago. Ive been dealing with Grainger for over 20 Years all there branches throughout NJ Clifton is by far the BEST branch. They are always so helpful and go above and beyond Like few weeks ago I needed a part I tried getting it from other supply houses I deal with with no luck,. I figured i try Grainger. The girl who helped me was great. It was a part that was not in their catalog and they did not carry but they did deal with the manufacture. She made calls for me to the manufacture and was able to get me my part that no other supply house could have. They are the best branch to deal with great customer service.

I had a great experience with Grainger I couldn’t find this part nowhere. It was a part for my power washer. A pressure release valve I looked everywhere. Just when I was about to give up I was talking to my boss about it he Asked me if tried Grainger? So I called Grainger they had the part but not in Clifton at another location but they told they would have the next day. They emailed saying it was there around 9am. This was in May in the middle of the epidemic. Once again thank you Grainger she’s running again like when I bought her 8 years ago. I read the other reviews I guess you win some you lose some but I never had a problem with them to be honest.

Pretty poor experience. Ordering online was a pain. No order status was displayed and I had to call the call center multiple times to get status. There was an issue with ordering the item from the manufacturer and it had to be reordered. Grainger agents take a week to reply to email.Things were not better at the physical location where I needs to pick up the item. After being told that the item is ready to be picked up, it could not be found. A representative at the physical location told me that call center people dont know anything about how things are on the ground and their word cant be trusted. Seemed like they had major issues with inventory tracking. Eventually the item was found in the car of one of the employees.A major company operating like a mom and pop shop but with none of the charm. It took 28 days from placing an order to me physically getting it, mostly because of delays introduced by disorganization at Grainger. I will avoid this company in the future.

My visit to Grainger is always pleasant.The customer service is great, everyone is Friendly, knowledgeable about most products.The wait isn’t too long, they seem like they take their time servicing each customer. I will recommend others to do business With Grainger.

Grainger Clifton is one of my favorite places to go employees is courteous and very knowledgeable of what I’m looking for. They’ve been very helpful in providing 100% satisfactory customer service I will continue to go to Granger put all my supplies in each and that’s in Clifton. I’d rather go into the store and deal with the courteous employees instead of going online. Many thanks to the Granger team for the service that they provide to CBRE.Richard Davis

Worst industrial supply company ever...I purchased a Dayton attic ventilator fan recently and they do not sell a replacement thermostat for it. Granger owns Dayton and they still can’t make it happen. If you want to look at a product that they don’t have in stock they put a hold for the amount on your bank account and then release it, meanwhile those funds are not available in your account for five business days. Some of the counter people are good, some of them are in their early 20s and have no idea about anything. They used to be the best company now they are the worst... The tech-support people are also uninformed, my advice is to go someplace else

Most unhelpful and rude service. They allow one person in with one person working in this large warehouse. Will never order from Grainger again. Stay away unless you want to wait the entire day outside.

Omg. Give yourself an entire day to run in and grab a SIMPLE item. First the line, the workers move like snails and despite 5 counters only 1 worker at first. Then a MILLION key strokes to get a SIMPLE tool. Followed by a snail then going to retrieve the tool from the warehouse. Then you have to wait from the printer for a receipt and signature!! There were 14 people in line when I left with my special BROOM. Skip the aggravation if possible and order online.

Sooooo sloooow. It took 15+ minutes to get to the counter with 1 person in line ahead, both trips. Express pickup was unstaffed so even ordering online didnt save time. Prices are high, much higher than other indie places.The tech support guy I spoke to who assured me the rota cutters I ordered would fit my drill, after giving him the make and model, and specifically clarifying this point multiple times...was wrong. Hours driving/waiting in line to pickup and return a simple order. I hate coming to Grainger but if theyre the only show in town and I need a tool which they apparently dont even sell, even if they tell me they do, sometimes I have to suffer through a visit to the worst supply house known to man. On the plus side, counter girls were nice and they do have a decent supply of atypical items, though nothing that much better run independent stores wouldnt. I will likely return, even though I sincerely hope I never have to.
