Not satisfied. You spend more than two hours answering their questions to get an upgrading kitchen service, they take all your details and then it is left to the designer’s convenience to call n fix an appointment to give you an estimate. The designer comes very late n then whatever samples she has brought you are forced to chose from that only- not flexible to let you chose material from home depot! Estimate is including material n labour- no break up is given! Even the total estimate was way higher than a private one😒😟☹️

Be aware. If you ever need to get a keyed doorknob calibrated to your existing keys by the hardware department, DO NOT come here. They will not do it unless you bought it here. And DO NOT complain to the manager. It will not help. Very disappointed! Now I have to call a locksmith or forget the convenience of using one key for my house.

Customer service is actually really good, we picked out a wireless doorbell with the help of one of the employees, but MAN, I dont know what it is, but this place reeks of sewage or rotten stuff, particularly near the back of the store.

In Store personnel is great but be careful using their Schedule Delivery service. I left comments/driver instruction to delivery to my garage/driveway and to call me. I wake up to see my order was just blopped down on my front yard but my driveway is on the next street (as explained on my comment/instructions) and no phone call. The Scheduled Delivery service starts at a $79 dollars but if you want them to deliver it some where specific, well, thats another $99. Dont rely on the comments/driver instructions, youre really rolling the dice on that.Im actually a little heart broken by this experience. My first similar order went off without a hitch. I was excited cause I could complete these DIY projects because I had a reasonable way of getting materials from the store to my house. I guess no more. Ive had past bad experiences with Home Depot but they always made it right. Not this time. This time I got the run around from the store manager and their main customer support number. So disappointed.

This is one of the closest Home Depot’s to me and I usually go there because of convenience but definitely going to Bring my business elsewhere to a mom and pop shop or even Lowe’s even if it’s out of the way. I Purchased something around 8:15pm and one of the cashiers was confused about me needing help so then she told me to go to the customer service section so I went. After arriving at the customer service side I went up to the counter and saw an employee named Maya she asked how could she help me I replied telling her needed assistance loading my truck I made a bigger order than the average person. She told me there was no forklift drivers available and I would have to go do it by hand, frustrated enough that I was there for already 40 minutes and this is the response I get after the purchase. after with her disrespectful tone and response I asked to talk to a higher up general manager of the store she snickered something under her breath and then made a phone call. About 5 to 7 minutes later Gina the supervisor general manager of the store came and asked what was my problem/concern. I again reiterated to her that I made a purchase of over 30 bags of mulch and if I knew I had to load them I wouldn’t of came to this particular store. Then she was trying to tell me the same lie the customer service representative Maya was trying to tell me that no one there had a forklift license, I find that odd and not believable because stock a store like Home Depot without a forklift. Anyway it took about another 10-15 minutes for Gina to find somebody with a forklift license. Before telling me to go around back to get loaded up Gina did resolve the issue professionally and actually might change my mind about coming back to that store because I know she’s a manager. But definitely need someone higher than Gina to look at this customer service representative Maya and make her go back to training or be demoted or something. I know too many good people that need a job and she’s not treating it right.

I just had the worst experience with an employee by the name of Mike, who works in Paint. I was very excited to pick out paint for my baby girl’s bedroom today. He huffed and puffed his breath throughout the entire (brief) duration that he took my paint order. He didn’t want to answer any of my questions and rushed me along the process. Once it was completed, he very rudely tapped on the can to indicate to me that my paint was ready. I couldn’t help but notice that his interaction with the male who approached the station after me was drastically different. As a homeowner, attorney, social media influencer, and realtor, I’ve spent a lot of money here and referred many people to this location. That stops today. My pending orders will be canceled once I’ve finished this review and contacted Corporate.

This is my regular home Depot in Clifton New Jersey I know where everything is Its got the normal Home Depot layout the big Home Depot layout Its always well stocked there are some helpful representatives but as you know Home Depot isnt what it was when it started but still plenty of product. Good lumber selection great cabinet selection Great tools everyone loves tools right. A lot of parking. Clean restrooms. Its funny when you get used to a local store and then sometimes I hit a Home Depot which is like a little Home Depot that has a much smaller selection and its usually laid out like an Ace hardware but this store is the real deal I think theyre open till 10:00 p.m. most days. Easy to get to right over route 3. If you are in Nutley Clifton the South and the Bloomfield this is your store. Right next to is my favorite AutoZone and theyre open till 10:00 p.m. every single night of the week even Sunday.

I hate the place, but as a professional contractor it is often a go too. I find the people who work here, the slowest moving I have ever seen. They reach out to me trying to get my contractors business, but I find them as uncontractor friendly as possible almost as if they were trying to push me away. I am waiting for the day there is an alternative convenient to use.

Great place to grab the most of the tools. Been shopping at this place all the time and the customer service also great. People will help and guide you for the project.Only one down thing about this store is that if you see something avialable - in stock at location not necessarily they will have it for sure. Call and inquiry about the item if in stock then go. Online system in-stock feature I found it useless at this location. Happen with me few times already.

I used the website to help me find something I needed. It gave me the exact aisle number and bay it would be in and said 2 were in stock. Unfortunately, there was none available. The man that helped us was very helpful. Looked up other stores and told us to call ahead. He even told us that they will typically ask for the sku number of the product and tell you if its available but to ask them to check the aisle instead because even his computer was telling him his store still had two in stock. Over all good experience and employees were friendly.

Was a bit of confusion because I did not receive my HD credit card yet. I was entitled to a $25 discount on my first purchase and a Big Thank You to Sasha for getting right to the bottom line.I bought my mini fridge at the right price and again Thank You to Sasha and the cashier Adriana! No problems in this store at this time. Months ago I made an order online to be picked up and the item was made unavailable because we no longer carry this item. So they allow me to order the item and then over a month after that they decide not to stock it? Seems kind of shady to me.

After twenty plus years of giving my hard earned money to this store, i am done. I will no longer give them a penny of my hard earned money. After my most recent project and spending over $47,000, i was treated very poorly and was denied a $47 return of grout that i did not need. You might have forced me to keep the $47 dollar return but you will be loosing out on hundreds of thousands of dollars from us. Shop small, shop local.

I never write reviews and in the past I haven’t had great experiences at this Home Depot but one employee really deserves the recognition for going above and beyond. RAKESH saw me struggling to maneuver an overloaded cart and offered to help me. Not only did he help me get the cart over to checkout he waited in line, got all the items checked out and fit them all into my trunk for me!!!!! He did this all in a humble and patient manner and in a manner saying “of course this is what an employee should do.” Thank you again Rakesh!!!!

Well Remy sure was loved at Home Depot ! I attempted to enter another HD & they wouldn’t allow my pup in. So I took myself to Clifton. We had a warm welcome & proceeded to carry on with the business we came in to take care of. We picked up the dual smoke & carbon detectors and fire extinguisher 🔥 worked out well! It was a busy day at Home Depot but people loved to see my happy puppy walking around ( some weren’t lol) but that’s ok too! There were a few very helpful workers which I appreciated ! Thank you 🐶😊

I was blown away today with Manny, from the Clifton store. I was buying rods...he happened to be in the same aisle, the paint aisle, he not only was kind and patient! he was also knowledgable! On top of that he was already assisting someone in the aisle gave me the quik info I needed, and then told me hed be right back ....and guess what? he was......and he was late for lunch break! Manny is the bomb! I told him Id be back tomorrow before or after his lunch break lol to follow up and choose a color!

Went up top looked and found a box without the part number, and low a behold it was the part three exactly. I want to thank you for helping me and taking the time to find the part. Did not honor delivery appointment schedule despite the fact that I have a copy of the appointment in writing. I have been on hold for 1 hour trying to troubleshoot with them. Spoke to one person who didnt care. Still on hold. Looking at the review before mine it seems this location is incapable of home deliveries, when it is most needed from retailers during this time. I visited Clifton NJ flooring dept on Thursday to search different options for tiles project & noticed posted all over tile installation Promo offered took flyer home & next day called spoke with Debra asked her few questions & she confirmed promo offer but a professional measuring was needed at $35 plus tax The next day Saturday I arrived at this location around 3pm spend about half hour w/ Debra then she asked her co-worker Jose to assist me because she was getting ready to leave..Now mind you all this time I spent with them over the phone as well in person about two hours I mentioned at least 5 or 6 times my project I am tiling area of the house etc & mentioned 100 sft few times.After almost half an hour sitting while Jose entered quote again based on the Promo that I was interested to visit he gave me based on 100sft a Ridiculous quote over $1500 plus & I was shocked! I spoke to Jose mentioned the quote does not makes sense versus promo offered!The ceramic tile I chose was .49 sftwhich should be total about $60 for 100 sft!The labor was over $1k w/ material my God crazy quote!Finally after going back n forth w/ Jose he Agreed the quote seemed off & called a manger spoke to her after 20 minutes came back said Sorry the promo had a minimum of 200sft OMG took them over two hours to figure this out while I wasted Precious time!!ON that offer in writing nowhere mentioned minimum required & how much is the minimum?? very misleading customers un-necessary!I then left sales desk very upset to go speak with manager Kaitlan to explain how upset I was & all I got from her calmly was I am sorry!Also admitted the sales team needs further training on offers to FULLY Disclose offer conditions!Guess what too late ! After I spent valuable almost two hours Clifton location left without any tile or closure & again upset that all I got was we are sorry!!I am long time HD customer but next time If I have any projects I may consider going to other location after this experience!I am hoping also as per managers promise that they Train their sales team to be able to answers & understand the offers they are providing to public to be knowledgeable more on products they offer customers!!Very Very Disappointed on this visit and surprised how little knowledge the sales team has to offer customers!!!!!!!

Another sorry experience at a once-renowned Home Depot location. Jokers blocking off entire aisles for restocking during prime business hours (9am). Claimed that they couldnt help with minor material inspection issue. Only be 15 minutes... 45 minutes later they are still playing with loader equipment. One restocking employee screamed at me to put on a mask RIGHT AWAY!. But then again, that level of obsequious obeisance is to be expected everywhere these days.Checkout personnel were friendly and cheerful, though.

Home Depot in Clifton...it’s the second time I’ve attempted curbside pickup. I left after waiting 45 minutes on Monday. Sitting in the designated spot now with my three year old in the backseat. After fifteen minutes, no one has even picked up the phone yet. I get it. Tough times and all but this really is awful. If I get my online order today, I can safely say I’ll never be back here again. Just awful.

The store was monitoring the people coming and going, I was glad everyone. Was wearing masks.I asked a salesman, where I could find. Gas Grill parts,and was told where they were.Happy to find Stainless Steel flame tamers for a reasonable price.Cant wait to get home,and for up the grill!!! Great weather?!!
