Hoffman Construction and its proprietor, Barry Hoffman, listens to his customers concerns and addresses them. He works closely with his clients to advise on materials and how to best solve the issues in the least expensive way. I have had Barry completely remodel my basement with finished walls, flooring, and electrical work. I have had Hoffman Construction install crown moulding in my three bedrooms upstairs and I have had them remove wallpaper, repair walls, and repaint the rooms. In one bedroom I had them build two additional closets. When my third floor roof leaked causing the plaster to fall off the walls and ceiling, Barry advised me who to contact to replace my roof and then he completely removed, insulated and replaced the drywall on my third floor. I would not have had Hoffman Construction do so much work on my house if I did not have faith in Barrys ability to complete the job to my satisfaction. I can heartily recommend Hoffman Construction and, should I need to use them again, I will.

Barry and his expert carpenters did a full bathroom renovation for us, including demolition and install of a new shower system. The work was fantastic and we are very happy.Barry was communicative throughout every step of the process and provided great design insights. His carpenters were courteous and professional.

Barry, owner of Hoffman Construction opened up my 1941 galley kitchen and made a modern and much more efficient kitchen and functional space in a small home. I credit him and carpenter John for figuring out how to add a barn door to separate the kitchen from my office.

Overall, Hoffman Construction did a great job. As with many contractors, there were many subcontractors whose work had to be coordinated by Mr. Hoffman. The logistics of this were handled very well, and Barry made every effort to keep the job moving forward. I want to especially note the high quality work done by the main carpenter on the project, John Newton. All of the other contractors also worked in an efficient and professional manner. I was most impressed by their attention to detail, and the willingness to make everything meet our expectations.

Barry is professional, responsive and easy to work with. He spent a good amount of time brainstorming our kitchen renovation with us and sent very detailed images of what it would look like. Recommend!

After interviewing several contractors I chose Hoffman Construction to do a new roof, replace front porch columns, and rehab the old windows in my century home. All the work was done very well. Barry truly cares about his clients and takes pride in doing quality work. His carpenter John was great, as well as the team of roofers and gutter man. All projects went as smoothly as possible with only some minor bumps in the road and delays due to the freezing weather. Barry was in contact with me through all the projects and was easy to get a hold of for any questions. I plan on meeting with him again to talk about future projects.
