Came in to attend an interview. Naturally I had to try the food. Got the delicious egg sandwich with sausage, cheese and a ton of veggies. The grain bread toasted is amazing and I usually hate multi-grain bread. A side of fried plantains and an iced cafe mocha. So good!! Definitely get your moneys worth. I am full off half the sandwich, but will somehow make it happen!! Lots of great choices. Vegan too! I also LOVED that they won an award for eco-friendly take out containers. Always wanted to try it. I live far away, but will be back. 😋 Yum!

LOVE this place! For breakfast, lunch or the perfect place to work with a coffee, its the most delicious and cozy spot with amazing café/bakery food. It brings back nostalgia for me, a locally owned coffee shop where you know all the people and it becomes a wonderful meeting place to enjoy ones company.Their Jaina salad and sourdough bread is my go to, as well as their daily soups and coffees. Fresh and healthy ingredients and tastes yummy!

Awesome selection of breads, pastries, sandwiches. Solid coffee as well. Very helpful and nice staff as well. The inside is very clean should you choose to dine in. Whats not to like??

I loved Stone Oven but lately the bakery is tasting lackluster. Their bakery is not cheap. I pay good money and lately the quality does not meet my expectations. I guess I will start baking at home.

Great pastries but staff are all the time confused and dont know what theyre doing. I have been to this place so many times and there has always been issues with my order. However, I think the prices are great and the food quality is excellent.

Stone Oven is in a great location with an inviting outdoor patio with seating. The staff is very friendly and the coffee is delicious. I tried the ham and swiss croissant and it was incredible! Cant wait to come back!

Cant say enough nice things about our visit today, 10/4/2020 - great food and staff! You can still eat on site, outdoors only, in two places: in the front along street, or their super cute patio. The sandwich and challah french toast were very good, and the plantains were out of this world. Pro tip: park in the back and enter through the back door; this photo pic is taken from the table we sat at to eat (patio) of the back door.

This is a neighborhood favorite. Right now (aka during COVID) I typically order takeout once a week and it is always phenomenal. All of the salads are excellent and I especially love the chicken curry sandwich. Their pastries are also amazing and they make some of the best croissants around. I highly recommend a visit!

The coffee is good. I felt my tea was weak and way too hot for a while. I asked for a recommendation of the softest bread and it truly was. We had egg salad sandwiches, chips and our drinks. I also bought three cookies, which I didnt find very impressive though they tasted okay. All the staff was friendly and helpful. And I liked how the cashiers screen flipped towards me for signature.

French toast sandwich was delicious. I had some really bad french toast a few days ago. This restored my faith. So good.

Phenomenal. We stopped here for a little breakfast date and everything we had was delicious. I got the chicken curry salad sandwich and a poppy seed tea biscuit to share. Perfection. If my stomach didnt have limits, I would have kept ordering more things to try. Awesome, fast service. Theres plenty of outdoor seating both in the front and back of the store. I dont know how busy it is on the weekends, but there were plenty of seats available to keep socially distanced on a Friday mid-morning. Id love to stop by again if were ever back in the area!

We had a nice afternoon meal here. We went on a Saturday around 3:00 p.m. and it was completely empty. There was one other customer sitting on the back patio which, is beautiful by the way. Very relaxing atmosphere. Also nice that there is plentiful free parking in the back. They have lots of options for a variety of dietary restrictions. We did not try any of their baked goods but instead had soup and a sandwich. Theyre cold chocolate drink was also delicious. Just overall a really nice place to relax and get a quick bite to eat fairly priced for the quality and the area.

I love Stone Oven.The food is excellent.Recently,I am frustrated with the inability to call in orders.So I traveled to the store,put in my order and waited over 20 minutes in the mid afternoon.Just seems inefficient

Ive been to Stone Oven many times. I wanted to try something I hadnt had before, so I tried the pugwich, I wasnt disappointed! But my favorite are the chocolate macaroons. They are to die for!!! It helps that everyone behind the counter is always friendly and helpful. A good visit as always!!

This place is awesome! The bread is always delicious and the pastries are amazing. Reasonably priced as well! If youre looking to get a Mocha, definitely go here its the best. Plenty of parking behind the store with a back entrance. Staff is always friendly as well. Will keep visiting when I can!

Hey stone oven team, you make good bread but if you somehow don’t want to put lids on coffee cups anymore due to Covid-19, I get it. But at least let your customers know about it by not putting them on all together rather than somehow loosely sitting them on of the cup. Now I have coffee on my car seat. Thanks for that.

Ive become a regular. The breads are beautiful and delicious and the poppy seed tea pastry is otherworldly. I love bringing my kids here for a treat. You can taste the quality in their bread. The staff at the Cedar Lee location has never been anything but professional and kind.

They make the best salads here! Their pizza is also delicious and the hot chocolate is the best Ive had. The Stone Oven is a really cute place to get coffee, or go for lunch or even eat dinner at. Theyre my favorite cafe and staff is nice.

Excellent service and delicious food. This is my go-to local place for a light lunch or some delicious baked goods. Their bread is very good, sandwiches are delicious and the salads are the best Ive ever had. All of the ingredients taste very fresh and their house salad dressing is fantastic. I love Stone Oven and will continue coming back for years to come.

Often come here for a quick bite or to get some work done. Food is always good. Soup of the day is always great! Of course their breads are amazing, and the pastries always look great but I havent given a try yet.Ive read a lot of reviews complaining of the staff--Ive noticed there are a lot of young (perhaps high school) employees but Ive always been treated very well as a customer!

Nice staff and good food

I haven’t been here in years. I ordered an egg salad sandwich and chose the tabouli side. I also ordered a slice of veggie pizza with feta cheese and artichokes and roasted red peppers on it. The egg salad was basically perfect and the tabouli, so different from any other tabouli I’ve ever had. It had a lot more bulgur wheat than parsley. The flavor is fantastic. It’s heavier because of the bulgur wheat and I can’t eat as much compared to the heavy-on-parsley versions that I love, but I would definitely order this again.The pizza is really really good. I was pleasantly surprised. So much flavor and it’s generous portion. It taste great at room temperature, but I think the bottom will benefit from crisping-up in a toaster oven.I think stone oven is really good at what they do

Who could pass up a place like this... One of my go to places for eating in and taking out. Great little menu for breakfast and lunch. The baked goods are marvelous. Love the variety of choices! Among my faves, mini quiches, breakfast croissants and the Asiago cheese bread. Truly a taste treat kinda place!

Me and my fiancé love this place. We always leave full, everything that weve ordered has been delicious, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice place to sit and have a relatively inexpensive lunch. Great coffee, too.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Pastries seem to stay fresh all day (if you buy them at 10am or 3pm), they are always good. Bread loafs do sell out quick sometimes, but even if you dont get exactly what you came in for, you will leave with something delicious.

Tasty but simple. The staff are cool and nice. Spacious and was not crowded. Wish the location allowed for better parking.

God, I love this place. The bread is delicious, the pastries and desserts are amaze, and I would probably lose the will to live without the tarragon chicken salad sandwich. Also the best almond croissants in town.

Delicious loaves of bread made fresh daily with scrumptious soups made in-house and a great selection of baked confections to finish off a meal. Coffees and specialty drinks also available. All in an open and inviting European-style cafe atmosphere. A jewel of the Cedar-Lee neighborhood.

Food was pretty good. Really wish they had at least one gluten free bread option though. Clean bathrooms and relatively trendy atmosphere.

Visited on a Thursday. Staff treated us so kindly. The bill was appropriate for the quality. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I liked.

I live right next to this place and I want to like it so much but I’ve never been treated well. If you order the French toast sandwich they inevitably bring you just the challah French toast. I even made sure to emphasize it was a sandwich the last time. On Father’s Day, when I asked to correct it they’d say I’d have to order a new sandwich and pay for it.I’ve been ignored the last two times I’ve been there. Today I was waiting at the register to order sandwiches while they proceeded to help the four customers behind me. When asked if I’ve been helped I clearly said no and they said “we will help you right after I ring up this order” which was the guy two people behind us.I feel like the problem lies with the rapid turn over of their staff. I’ve rarely seen the same person twice.

The help is frazzled when taking orders and cant remember what you told them because they dont take you seriously, but they remember to take your cash.

I was ordering a sandwich when they brought out the pizza! Wow. Get a fork, its delicious! Its such a good vibe here, everything looks delicious. Its a place I wish I knew about sooner!!! Fresh, healthy,so good!

I usually get half a sandwich with a cup of soup when I come here. You can ask for a sample of soup if youre not sure what they taste like. There is a patio and you can bring your dog. The chairs inside arent very comfortable. I love their tarragon chicken salad sandwich and salmon salad sandwich on sourdough. Their couscous and tabbouleh sides are also very good. They offer a varieties of pastries, baked goods and desserts.

This location has fast, efficient service and the quality is always good. I had a mexican chicken soup which hit the spot on a cold November day. The only drawback: make sure you have quarters to feed the parking meters.

I come here regularly just for a bread pickup. Their bread is, by far, the best that Ive found since moving to Ohio several years ago, and believe me, Ive tried many bakeries looking for this great tasting & quality bread. Im of Italian descent so no store bought, supermarket, white bread for me. My whole life, weve always had freshly baked, delicious Italian bread in our home, so I know what great bread is. I highly recommend the Siciliano loaf which Im in love with, and Ive been very pleased with their French Baguette & other varieties as well. This bread freezes wonderfully with no detriment to its taste and they will gladly slice the loaves if youd like. From the many bakeries in Little Italy to On The Rise on Fairmount, this is hands down, far & away, the best, most delicious bread Ive found. So lucky to have this great bakery right in my neighborhood but Id drive long distance for this Stone Oven bread if I had to. SO DELICIOUS!!!!

Love this place. Enormous selection of sandwiches, breads, pastries, etc.On weekend mornings they have breakfast/brunch specials. Some days they have pizza (which is very good). Employees are friendly and efficient. Charming outdoor patio in the summer. Its in a solid neighborhood with plenty of (pay) parking in the back. The only drawback is, it tends to get crowded during peak hours.

I had a curry pumpkin soup that was incredible! I didnt try any of the pizzas or pastries but they looked incredible. I highly recommend this place!

Came here for early brunch during a weekend and the food was amazing. I took one star away because it was difficult finding a seat and wished it was better planned out. Maybe start providing table service with waitress during busy hours? In the end, the food was definitely worth fighting for a table and sending evil stares at people just sitting at the table reading newspapers or on laptops.

I love this Stone Oven! There is another in Woodmere, but it doesnt compare to the coziness of this one. The food is delicious and fresh, the bakery is out of this world if youre looking to impress, and they have all the functions of an adorable cafe. They sell full loaves of excellent breads made from scratch, often sold in Heinens over here, too. The service is excellent, courteous, and efficient. They quickly fix anything awry and always provide their best. I highly recommend for any occasion from casual date to friendly get together.

Decent variety of pastries, baked goods, bread, and lunch foods ( sandwiches and soups and salads). Lots of vegetarian options.The tea biscuits, however, which are the main reason I come here, are now about half the size they used to be. They are no longer worth the price.

The food was delicious BUT the portions were for infants,I guess this is how they keep you coming back...I must add the workers were VERY polite. I had a nice time,oyeah they need more tables

One of my favorite places in Cleveland Heights. Great pastries, scones, etc. for breakfast, pretty good sandwiches, etc. for lunch, and good bread to grab to supplement dinners.

I work near enough to get to eat here for lunch often. Their house dressing is fantastic and their salads are fresh and quite big. The croutons and bread are made in house, and wonderful.They also make some freakishly good sheet pizzas if you can get there around noon on weekdays.The staff is always nice and pleased to see you. Theres a large cabinet of pastries, cookies and cheesecakes, and they made a decent and inexpensive latte if youre just in the mood for a snack.As for their bread, Im a fan of the Sourdough and Sciciliano for sandwiches, but this is where I get whole, unsliced loaves of Pugliese to make my famous Shooters Sandwiches.

Great food, relaxing atmosphere. Fantastic ham & cheese croissants here. Also, they serve City Roast Coffee (though, if you ask for a latte, it may come served lukewarm). The staff is very friendly.
