Beautiful cafe with specialty pour overs. They keep it simple. They have a single sweet syrup and a house made dark mocha sauce. This place is all about the texture of the bean and the flavors it will produce. Best vegan gluten free muffin in town!PS latte art damaged because- I simply couldn’t wait! Great flat white with Ethiopian shots for a floral note.
Must Visit - Pour Cleveland is brewing up delicious coffee in a bright and cheery environment. Pour is Spro Hoe Approved for their delicious espressos and cortados. There is ample space to work or meet friends. The Honey Washed espresso we tried was very unique; very sweet and fruit forward. Highly recommend visiting.
This is the best coffee shop my husband and I have been to in the Cleveland area! The atmosphere is wonderful, the coffee is delicious, and the pastries are wonderful! If you get the chance, they have single seats at the front of the store that look out onto the street of Cleveland. They are single bar seats only on either side of the front door, but offer a lovely view of the world in your own little space!
I spend a good deal of time each year traveling across the United States, often in support of my beer blog, Great Beer Now. Like anyone else who samples beer when they travel, I have to consume other drinks, too, at least a little bit, and for me, my other beverage of choice is often coffee. When in Cleveland recently, I found a great place for a morning coffee and snack, and that place is Pour Cleveland.Well- lit, bright and cheerful, Pour Cleveland is a welcoming place ready to get you the beverage you need to start your day. There are a couple larger tables for multiple guests, but the rest of the seats consist of the two- person variety, perfect for relaxing with a friend. The added plants and art help provide a home- like atmosphere and make you feel at ease.Pour Cleveland features an ordering system similar to other coffee shops. There is no table service- you instead look over the menu and once you’re ready to order, you just walk to the front and select among the different drinks, pay, and wait for the preparation. The drinks include coffee, tea, cappuccino, lattes, espresso, etc. with optional add- ins like almond milk. Food consists of sweet treats such as scones, cookies, etc as well as non- sugary options like bagels. I like that they serve things besides sugary foods and guests will like to know that the cream cheese served with the bagels is often multi- flavored and not just plain white cream cheese, for added enjoyment.Pour Cleveland coffee tastes fresh and roasty. I ordered a cold brew with a blueberry scone and it was just the kick start to my day that I needed. I liked the food, the drink, the atmosphere, and the location on the main street, perfect for people watching. The one thing I didn’t like was the parking- it took time to find a parking spot and once I found one, I had to walk a couple of minutes to get to Pour Cleveland. It would be nice if parking was more convenient, but I can’t necessarily hold this against the establishment, since the options are always going to be limited, in any downtown.Coffee shops are all the rage and it’s always cool when I can find some place to visit that isn’t one of the big name chains. Pour Cleveland is one such place; a friendly, pleasant atmosphere perfect for a quick coffee beverage and snack in the morning, noon, or evening. The parking can be a hassle, but the quality food and beverage is easily worth it in the end.
I have been wanting to check Pour out for a while, and finally got there this morning. We tried the house coffee, a mocha, a sea salt bagel, and a banana nut muffin. All were fantastic, and the service was excellent and very friendly and informed as to their products. Clean and inviting atmosphere, and I look forward to stopping in again. Highly recommend.
The outdoor and indoor seating make Stray Dog a comfortable place for an informal business meeting or to soak up some vitamin D on a lunch break (when the sun does shine in NE Ohio ). They serve some local bottles drinks and their very own condiments! The smooth and efficient process at the counter made for a peaceful visit and helped me get off to my next stop quickly. Stray Dog is a great fit for the downtown scene.
Another great coffee shop in SF. Stopped by on a Sunday morning around 9AM and the shop was pretty busy. Seems a bit busy/loud to get work done but its a great place to grab coffee and go or sit down and chat with friends. Seating it a bit limited inside but theres also a few spots outside too.
Walking down the street and I got too cold. Walked in thinking it was just a coffee shop. The friendly helpful staff recommended a biscuit. The biscuits and housemade sausage was excellent! If your in Downtown Cleveland would recommend this place is
Hands down one the best coffee spots downtown. Great atmosphere, great service, good prices and GREAT COFEE. Charlie the owner knows his coffee beans, made us feel so welcome in his shop. If your a coffee lover and your downtown make sure to stop and see charlie. Highly recommended
Pretty sterile setting. Very nice drink selection and preparation. The place is freezing cold inside so bundle up. The ONLY warm place is in the vestibule when you enter from Euclid avenue.
OMG lattes are so good! I love how relaxing it is in here! I cannot wait till they open the dinning room again! I loved working in there!
Pour Cleveland is the best coffee Ive ever had; I wish there were more shops paying attention to every aspect of the brewing process. The owner, Charlie, really focuses on getting high quality beans from the best roasters in the world and dialing them in EVERY day to ensure the best aspects of the coffee come through. They also use reverse osmosis to control the water quality, which makes a huge difference in taste. I have lived in Chicago, Cleveland, and Houston and have yet to find a coffee shop as good as Pour. Be sure to order a pour over when you go - itll be the best decision you make all week!
Really solid bottomless coffee--cold brew or drip. Plus, customer service is through the roof. The environment is pretty chill and theres a great table for working as long as it isnt full--I dont know if it ever is because I am just traveling through.
1 Star for customer service and 2 for the bagel my friend and I got. The cashiers were very awkward and just stared and me and my friend. The bagel was very good though, they have good cream cheese. The menu up front is also very confusing to look at, making it difficult to order coffee. The atmosphere is also very sterile with no real interior design with anything special or “homey”. You can feel very exposed there like you have eyes on you.
Top notch, over the top coffee service. Lovely selection, knowledgeable staff. Yeah, this is where you go when you want excellent coffee.
Excellent knowledge and customer service. Crisp, clean environment placing an emphasis on premium roasters and brewing techniques. Not to mention the vegan and gluten-free pastry options... Highly recommend.
A local delight. Great coffee and modern space. Good place to meet up or work for a while. You can get refills on coffee. They serve drip and pour over, plus you can buy whole beans.
Great tasting coffee and prices are reasonable considering your down town. Service was great and family friendly. There were people there of all ages. Place is not that big so dont expect to meet a group of 5 or more friends to study cause your best bet is another coffee shop.
Good coffee but I wasnt that impressed with service. Got there two minutes before they opened (I was visiting and didnt know their hours), and the guys working there were kinda rude about me trying to open the door (not like I was trying to break in!) While I believe in supporting small businesses, I dunno if Ill visit this place again.
This is a cool/hip coffee house located downtown across from the Arcade. I stopped in this week to grab a regular cup of coffee before my appointment at Marengo Spa across the street. The location is small but you are immediately welcomed cheerfully, and are in and out with minimal wait and some great coffee. It seems to be a popular location as there were a dozen or so customers enjoying the ample windows looking into Euclid while they were working on their laptops.Next visit I hope to try a latte and some baked goods as they all looked amazing!
I thought this cafe was super cute and the woman helping us was SOOOOOO nice - the coffee was a little bit bitter but good - and my espresso was good. But we were at a local cubing competition, and needed a snack for all on top of the need for coffee - the croissants were amazing! Seriously, there was one that was guava cream cheese that I keep fantasizing about! We bought a pound of the Ethiopean coffee available that day, and we like it strong, but it came out disappointing. We should stick to drinking our coffee in the cafe. Im so glad that it wasnt crazy busy line-wise, but there was definitely nowhere to sit inside. Fine! We went outside to the little bar area and enjoyed our coffee in the sun. Id come back when in SF!
Delicious coffee and pour overs. A little pricey for a to-go cup but worth every bit for the quality you get
Awesome coffee! Rich and strong. Some spray nozzle malfunctioned while I was there and jetted water all over the counter, me, and my drink. Coffee was too good to care. Will visit again
The workers here love red beanies, good morning coffee, and multiple sets of elephants! What else could you want in a coffee shop? Oh, and they love honey on pizza! But thats all just my perception. There is no me after all...
Pour has a great selection of coffee and treats! The staff is incredibly helpful- especially if you are not entirely familiar with all the special and specific types of coffees. There is not tons of seating in there but there is usually enough to get somewhere to sit because it’s not usually too busy inside.
Cool atmosphere and great location! The service is excellent! The gentleman who made my espresso was lovely - very friendly and did a great job choosing a nice espresso for me to try.Its so nice to have options other than Starbucks, especially since it is locally owned and operated.Cleveland Pour rocks! :)
Simple, clean, modern, reliable wifi, and plenty of tables - Ive come here once to work and once to socialize, both at busy times, and easily found room. There are probably times tables are crowded, it is a nice shopping and eating area, but I left happy both times.
Charming atmosphere. The espresso was awesome! But does run a bit expensive. Parking in this area is an inconvenience so be careful of that as well. Very friendly and informative staff!!
Ive never been, but Im going. They understand.
Ducked in to Pour to get out of the cold. Ordered a pour over and had the best cup of coffee Id had while in Cleveland. Great coffee, great staff and very cool space. Some might think it a little pricey but well worth the price if youre looking for great coffee.
I had my first cup of coffee today and it was quite good. Very smooth and not bitter, even a little bit sweet. My understanding is that properly brewed coffee should never be bitter.A cup of the drip pour is $3.50. I wont be going there every day but I look forward to my next cup.
The coffee here is so good! Not to mention the muffins! Gotta try the apple nut muffin, its my favorite
The bagel was incredible, and the shop was beautiful. The service was pretty hands off, but as soon as I asked about other stuff to do in the city (Im not from Cleveland) the guy at the register was super helpful and gave us some solid tips. Coffee was good, and youd be hard pressed to find the international roasters that these guys feature anywhere else.
Nice break from Starbucks. What a difference in flavor and fragrance! Im curious, though; why so vastly different than coffee Ive enjoyed at other outlets?
$5 for about 10 ounces of absolutely average cold brew coffee. Staff was pleasant and not too pretentious. Atmosphere was pleasant.
The coffee here is very good, the only downside is finding a parking in the area
Great place. Nice, clean design. Friendly staff. Great coffee. This is my go-to coffee shop when Im looking for something special. They have an assortment of excellent beans and preparations (hot & cold). The coffee is high-quality and carefully prepared, so it shows in the prices. Dont come here looking for a quick & dirty cheap cup of coffee.
Pour offers the high-end coffee experience that makes you feel like youre one of the cool kids. A little pretentious--but isnt every great coffee shop? Location is great and everything is high quality from the coffee to the service to the bagels and pastries. The extra $$ is worth it for every last drop.
Im more into tea than coffee, but both are excellent here. I usually get the Brandy (its an oolong tea, no booze). Their pastries are really good too.
One of my must stops while in Cleveland. I always find a new coffee to try and bring home to keep the java mojo going strong.
Lovely place. The staff are super friendly and the coffee is great!
Kind of cute atmosphere. Super tiny menu. Extremely small sizes and very over priced. Go somewhere else.
Liked the staff, layout and convenience of the location. Went for espresso, wasn’t what i was expecting (aka Italian style) and i am an espresso expert of sorts ;) but it was good
Very clean place, which says all you need to know about the product. Good coffee. Friendly service. Chai tea good also!
My favorite coffee spot in the entire city. The staff are all awesome and extremely knowledgeable. They dont roast their own coffee but they do put a lot of effort into sourcing their beans (they change week to week). Their pour over is my go to.
Clevelands best coffee shop.
Great drip and pour over with a nice selection of beans. Alternative milk options include macadamia nut milk.
I’ve had the espresso, pour over, and plain drip coffee. All are very good. They go pretty light on the roast, so be prepared for acidity (or add some cream).I also appreciate all the electrical outlets and the cool vibe. Childish Gambino currently playing in the background. 👍👍👍
Nice employees. Got the Latte, pretty good but not anything special.
Excellent cold brew! The location is convenient and beautiful. I cant wait to go back and try more.
Great drip and fun options to grab beans from across the world that you arent going to find anywhere else.
This place has everything you need in a coffee shop delicious drip coffee, cozy atmosphere, and the double chocolate sweet potato muffins I had was to die for! This place definitely deserves more than 5 stars!
Very awesome coffee and a chill vibe. I highly recommend the pour over 😊
Great selection of coffees from some of the best roasters in the world. Attention to detail, and good at their craft. Way to go, Pour!
For a coffee shop with an extremely limited menu, each item should be perfect. My drink was definitely not that. I ordered an iced mocha and there were grounds on the bottom of my cup. I couldn’t even taste the espresso in my drink. The mocha was watered down and had zero taste. I paid 6.00 for a horrible glass of chocolate milk. I will NEVER be back.
ALWAYS EXCELLENT. Great vibe, great coffee, great people. You cant go wrong here.
Very cool minimalist space, great pour over. Pour did the look of the minimal, white walled coffee house first in the region. The best shop in Cleveland.
Staff was great. Coffee was EXCELENT
Had a great time here at the tall ships Festival.
Good coffee, friendly service, trendy atmosphere.
I ordered a Dirty Chai Latte and it tasted like there was clumpy dirt in it. The espresso beans weren’t ground all the way, and the flavor was terrible. I paid $6 for about 3 oz and it was the worst Chai I have ever had.
I give this spot two thumbs up. prices are reasonable.
Nice vibe and they used macadamia nut in my vegan cappuccino- very tasty!
I like it there a nice quiet place to be able to think about whatever you want to good coffee
No parking lot - but if youre already downtown, its a cool spot for great coffee, fast wifi, and room to do a little work within an easy walk from most places.
Super cute, great service and the coffee was delicious.
Had a great cup of iced coffee in this boutique style coffee shop.
Specialty Coffee at its finest.
My favorite coffee shop! Delicious coffee and wonderful people. Must stop here if you are downtown.
Our friend swung us by this spot the last time we were here and it didnt disappoint. Nice location and not an overwhelming menu of items.
This place had some amazing coffee. I was in town for business and was told about this place by my hotel. Im glad they did. I had to suffer through sub par coffee from other places until I came to this place. They are very particular about their coffee selections and their extraction methods (pour-over and espresso) seem to be perfectly optimized for the origin. If you come by in the near future, I highly recommend the Guatemalan Finca Santiago as an espresso. One of the best espressos Ive ever had. During my stay I tried all of their pour-overs and espressos and they were all great, but the Guatemalan espresso really stood out to me.
The coffee is overpriced and taste horrible. My lid would not stay on my cup and I burnt my hand twice. You can go to doors down and get twice the amount of coffee and two donuts for half the price
The best coffee, amazing service, beautiful place.
Great rotating selection of coffee roasters. Delicious mix of pastries including gluten free options. Free WiFi.
