Staff was unfriendly. When I asked a question I was told to put my mask up...my mask was on and on correctly. Wow just not a welcoming/ kind vibe here! Coffee was not good either!

Im in town for a conference and wandered into Phoenix this morning. The atmosphere was great and baristas were super friendly! I was being a difficult customer and asked them to make me something they don’t have on their menu. They were extremely accommodating, patient, and didn’t seem annoyed or anything! And of course, the coffee turned out amazing. So smooth and delicious. Highly recommend!! 💖

All the girls working here are super nice and the most friendly barista’s you will meet. They bring that kind of love to their coffee making also. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Cleveland.

Was just in town for the day, I ordered an ice coffee and a cinnamon muffin, so good I wish I could go back sooner or get that cinnamon muffin recipe! So buttery and good.

Highly recommend checking out this coffee shop. Coffee is very high quality and the staff know their stuff.The space itself is beautiful. A few tables with easy access to electrical outlets. Big windows allowing for natural light.

Somewhat rude staff. Told not to move a chair around by the women working here, which embarrassed us and people were staring at us. She said she had to be the one to do it. Totally uncomfortable experience and certainly not a welcoming environment. I would recommend for those type of people to work from home instead of around the public.

Stopped in while staying in Cleveland for a conference, and found a cute little spot. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, nice atmosphere for working, or chatting with friends. Cold brew was outstanding, only wish there were more snack options. Would for sure come back!

I accidentally dropped into this place in downtown Cleveland. Liked it immediately. They serve very good coffee. The interior is appealing. Simply a nice place to stop by and have good espresso.

This is the an incredible place for coffee. Ive waxed prosaically on Phoenix Coffee before, but I have to say this is their best location. The preparation is masterly, the atmosphere wonderful, and the staff are amazing. Among the three best places this coffee in Cleveland. Thank you, Phoenix on West Street!

The nicest people but wow was this coffee bad. The light roast was bitter and astringent and the iced latte was just water down coffee with oat milk in it — no espresso! Had high hopes but this fell short.

Sunday times need to be updated online. Was not open at 7:45, had to walk to starbucks. Its still is the best coffee downtown, fine tea and lemonade as well. Staff is always friendly, and keeping the place clean. They have been and continue to set the bar for covid precautions which I apreaciate. Great place, a must if your looking for coffee downtown!

I drove to Phoenix St Claire to grab a coffee, snack, and do some work. Unfortunately I only had 1 quarter for parking. I asked if I could get 8 quarters back in change to pay for parking. I was told no, I can only give you 4 quarters. I asked is there a reason as I saw an entire sleeve of unused quarters. She claimed I have to save them for the rest of the day.I want to support local, but times like this make it tough.

Great coffee. Even the standard cuppa is phenomenal. Gotta admit: I usually dont get brewing methods that require a degree in chemistry to brew. I just know that whatever Compass is serving makes me want to dance. Staff. The baristas are knowledgable and kind. I asked Danielle to surprise me with her choice - an opportunity to show off a little bit.

The coffee here is amazing!! its always nice to walk into a coffee shop where the people making your coffee actually care. I will definetly be back

Great location and staff. I am a regular here for drinks for my kids. I love that they sell The Cleveland Bagel Co. bagels.You must try the everything bagel with the thyme, black pepper, & horseradish schmear!
