I was searching for a specific vehicle on the internet and at local dealerships. I found a couple that I seriously considered but kept going back to Power Auto Brokers site looking at the one that they had. I contacted them about it and they were very quick at responding. They did a FaceTime walk around for me on a Saturday. The following Thursday I was in the neighborhood so I stopped in for an in person view of the vehicle. I looked it all over and had a price in mind. I ended writing a check for it right then. We went back Saturday morning and drove it home. I have since put 500+ miles on it and it is everything I thought it would be. I don’t have any plans of buying another vehicle in the near future but I will definitely check with them when I do need one.

Okay, so to start off I went in knowing the risks of buying a used car and was met with one person running the entire dealership. Normally a concern but I was excited as the car I was looking for was what they had. An absolute beauty of a car looked great under the hood and body work was beautiful. Ryan, the man who “helped” me was very reasonable in negotiating and I thought I got the vehicle for a good deal. However throughout my buy I was constantly interrupted by other customers as no one else was there to help him in the shop. I asked if they had ever taken the car to a mechanic to have it checked which of course he replied no and that their way of inspecting vehicles was to drive the car for three days then decide it was lot worthy. I drove off in what I thought was a great buy at a good price and expected a few minor problems following as most people do with used cars. However, as one does with a new car I took it to a shop to have it checked out and to my horror I discovered a fresh jb weld to the oil pan dripping away. After having driven the car for 3+ hours I’m grossly disgusted by the negligence this dealership portrays to its customers in that they can not guarantee anything in the way of service and vehicle inspection. Thankfully I caught what they had to have known was there and refused to disclose to me (anyone seeing this car come off a tow truck would’ve seen it or the leak would’ve dripped until a new patch was installed). I’m very let down in their portrayal of sales purposes as well as lack of disposition to customers and lack of staff. Saddening techniques from a place that I thought would’ve been my favorite dealership all time. Don’t make my mistake and if you really must buy from them take the time and patience to have the car looked at beforehand by a technician as no one there either knows about cars they receive or doesn’t care about the customers they interact with to inform them of potential frightening errors. Very very let down.

I recently purchased a car from Ryan at PAB and was very happy with the process and experience. I called about a car I had seen online and said that I was interested in looking at it and that my wife and I would drive down to see the car. Without taking my name or scheduling an appointment I wasnt sure what to expect when we arrived, but sure enough, the car was getting ready for a test drive. My wife and I drove the car, decided we wanted to buy it, returned from the test drive and made an offer. There was no haggling or back and forth; Ryan went inside, checked his numbers, and accepted the offer. He prepared the paper work, I wrote a check for the car, and off we went. The titled arrived a couple weeks later and I registered the car. Ive bought and sold over 40 vehicles and this had to be one of the easiest dealership purchases Ive ever made. When/if Im in the market for another car, Ill certainly go back.

There is an indoor display center where the nicer and newer model cars can be seen. Not so much cars displayed in their lot. They have the prices displayed hanging by the rearview mirror with other info such as year model. I have to call them for the mileage of the vehicle that I wanted coz it wasnt on the info card.

On Google posting, 9 times out of 10, people who leave nasty reviews with no profiles are not influencing anyone. I am now in position to make a deal for a cheap used vehicle. They are close and I could walk there. Ive heard and seen good things said about them by people who have reputations going back years here. This is one of the good Old Brooklyn businesses.

NOTE: I’m basing this off a single phone call. Others experiences may differ.I’m in the market for a truck and found a few available here. I called in to schedule a test drive and bring in a couple trucks to my mechanic. Well I never thought it’d be so difficult.The guy who answered told me I have to fill out a credit application and we have to agree on the monthly payments before I even take it on a test drive or have my mechanic see it. I’ve bought three cars and never had to do such nonsense before letting my mechanic see it. I tried to explain that the mechanic’s evaluation determines how much I’d want to pay for the truck, and he went on to tell me nothing is negotiable.In conclusion, this may be a good place if you like rolling the dice with thousands of dollars. But if you are like me, and want to be comfortable with buying a vehicle you’ll be depending on, I’m going somewhere that allows me to test drive and see my mechanic before I agree on a price and have my credit run.

My son purchased a vehicle here just a few weeks ago. Not only was he overcharged (he paid at least 1,000 over the blue book value), but less than 2 WEEKS after purchasing the car, the car died. Needed over $1,000 in repairs. When my son called, they said there was nothing they could do. The car had a very limited 30 day warranty (engine and transmission), but the car needed a new fuel pump, alternator plus a couple other repairs. I feel Power Brokers should have at least kicked in for partial payment of these repairs (fuel pump would be covered under a normal powertrain warranty), at least in the name of good customer service.FOLLOW UP: Ryan at Power Auto Brokers ended up refunding almost $400.00 of my sons $1,000.00 auto repair bill. While its still disappointing to have to put that kind of money into repairs so soon after getting a vehicle, I do appreciate Ryans effort to make things right. Thanks!

I am not a person who leaves reviews but because of my experience with these guys I really felt like I needed to they are very friendly they are not pushy at all like most other car lots not one time in the week it took me to get my deal done did they call and question me I told them that when I was ready that I would call them they worked hard to get my deal done BUT THE MANE REASON I FELT LIKE I NEEDED TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW WAS BECAUSE ON THE TEST DRIVE OF THE 2009 CADILLAC DTS THAT I PURCHASED FROM THEM I FELT IT PULLING TO THE RIGHT WE STOPPED AT A TIRE SHOP AROUND THE CORNER FROM THE CAR LOT THE GUY AT THE TIRE SHOP SAID THAT THE TIRE WAS LOW AND PUT AIR IN IT NO BIG DEAL SO I THOUGHT I ADMIT THAT I SHOULD OF GOTTEN OUT OF THE CAR AND LOOKED AT THE TIRE MYSELF BUT I DIDNT SO I BOUGHT THE CAR AS I DROVE OFF I GOT ON THE HIGHWAY TO LEAVE THE CAR STARTED TO SHAKE AS I DROVE DOWN THE HIGHWAY SOWHEN I STOPPED I GOT OUT LOOKED AT THE TIRE THAT JUST HAD AIR PUT INTO IT AND IT HAF A BIG BUBBLE ON THE SIDEWALL WHY THE TIRE SHOP GUY DIDNT SAY ANYTHING I AM MOT SURE HE HAD TO OF SEEN IT BECAUSE AS SOON AS I LOOKED AT THE TIRE I NOTICED IT I WENT BACK TO THE LOT THE NEXT DAY AND EXPLAINED TO THE OWNER MY SITUATION HE TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO THE TIRE SHOP THAT WE HAD STOPPED AT THE DAY BEFORE AND THEY KNEW HIM AND THEY WOULD GIVE ME A GOOD DEAL ON A TIRE WELL THAT DIDNT SIT VERY GOOD WITH ME BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY IT WSS LIKE THAT BEFORE I BOUGHT IT NOT SAYING O SHOULDNT OF CHECKED IT OUT A LITTLE BIT BETTER BEFORE HAND BUT AS HE NOTICED HOW UNHAPPY I WAS HE CALLED TO THE TIRE SHOP TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD BE THERE IN THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AND TO TAKE CARE OF ME WITH A TIRE SO I GET TO THE TIRE SHOP ALL THE USED TIRES WERE IN BAD SHAPE I TOLD THEM THAT I WOULDNT PUT ANY OF THEM ON MY CAR THE OWNER OF THE TIRE SHOP CALLED THE OWNER OF THE CAR LOT TOLD HIM THAT I DID NOT WANT ANY OF THE USED TIRES THAT HE HAD AND WHAT SHOULD HE DO THE OWNER OF THE CAR LOT TOLD HIM TO PUT A BRAND NEW TIRE ON MY CAR AND THINGS LIKE THAT JUST DONT HAPPEN LIKE THAT THESE DAYS EVERYONE TRIES TO TAKE THE CHEAP WAY OUT BUT THEY STOOD BY THERE WORD AND TOOK CARE OF MY TIRE AND THAT TO ME GOES A LONG WAY AND JUST SHOWE EXACTLY WHAT KIND OF GOOD PEOPLE THAT THEY ARE AND WHAT KIND OF GOOD BUSINESS THAT THEY DO.Sorry that my review is so long but I wanted people to know that this is one place that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WILL DO BUSINESS WITH IN THE FUTURE.
