Good quality meats and good service

I purchased a large pack of ground beef and steaks Tues August 17th from Prime Meats on Superior Ave. As a caterer youre trained and how long meats can stay refrigerated when I purchased the meats she had mentioned oh the meats are fine they just turned this this natural them turning brown so I purchased a minimal amount of steaks and I purchased a large ground beef as well as my order for my customer. I opened the ground beef and the steaks Friday which was yesterday and both steaks and ground beef were spoiled. I called the store this morning to speak to someone about it and instead of responding with Im very sorry about your experience he responds with oh yeah of course its been 5 days well at that point I decided it was not worth my time to discuss my horrible experience and just ended the phone call. I will no longer purchase any meats from prime meats and I will no longer recommend them to anyone and if someone does decide to go there you need to make sure before you purchase the meats that they still have color and theyre not trying to give you a deal to clear their shelves. Quality customer service goes a long way!!!

First try at local butcher meat vs. grocery chain. Wow. There is no comparison. I ordered a family package for the deep freeze and Im very happy I did. I will be coming back monthly! Strip steak, T-bone, ground beef, and pork chops are awesome! Havent tried the chicken yet but Im sure I wont be disappointed. No comparison to what Ive been getting at the grocery chain. I placed the order over the phone and it was delivered the next day! Thank you for the great quality and service!

I love Prime Meats Prices meat prices are going up everywhere an she manages to keep her prices affordable. Even have $12.00 bags of chicken thighs an I pack 4 a bag an got 6 bags. I brought $25.00 dollars of wings, fresh one 8 bags 5 pcs a bag. Ocean Porch in large bag crawfish, all types of stuff an she had green tomatoes.

They have basic meat your pork your beef and chicken I was looking for oxtails I didnt see none there a little bit of lamb not much

They could not and/or did not want to prepare the family packages for me which saves me a lot of money😧 I would have paid $230.00 for the family package of four but today I spent over $300.00 for it all 😡

When I first went in there the staff was great the counters was clean everything was nice everything was organized they had a little complimentary coffee I grabbed some flyers and came home and made a big order, if I was State yall would have got a a++++

This is an absolutely amazing butcher. I drive here from downtown where I work, only takes a few moments and I save big time. They run a flier with all kinds of super deals. If you buy 6 Steaks, (at least in January) they are 7.99 a pound. And I mean gorgeous marbled butcher cuts! (Ribeyes & Poterhouses) They do a lot of great balk deals on good frozen stuff, but the fresh meat is where it is at. If you want to pay the absolute least to enjoy the absolute best meat go here! And they have literally every cut.Place is about 5-10 minutes from downtown. If you buy meat from WSM and would like to save a few dollars for equal quality, this is the place.
