Great location with a diverse and knowledgeable staff, the first employee really didn’t have great recommendations but as I stood in the aisle looking confused another staff member came over and had so much information for me, both great ladies that helped as much as they could. I’m glad I came to this location

I love this Sally in Steel Yards. The staff is always so nice and helpful. The manager is also the best.

We’ve been waiting over an hour for someone to answer the phone, sitting in the parking lot, there’s four workers in there, only one is actually doing something. The first lady we talked to was very RUDE. We have been in the front of sallys waiting for our order for way too long then when my order was READY, she threw it outside in front of the door instead of delivering it to the car like the other employees were doing. i’ve never had such an unprofessional experience like this. also, they charged me 16$ each for two big bottles of hair dye instead of giving me the smaller ones 10$ each. So we had asked to get the smaller ones and it’s taking her another 30 minutes JUST to refund the other ones and give me the smaller ones. I do understand it’s hectic with having one phone but this was really ridiculous. I’m also still waiting as i’m typing this and i’ve been here since 2:01 pm.

The woman with the bright pink hair was incredibly helpful and super nice. The store was also neatly organized and very clean.

So unprofessional! This store was supposed to open at 9am and it is 10:30 and nobody has shown . I have very important things to do and they just lost a good paying customer as I was looking to buy expensive beauty salon equipment. I am also calling the corporate office to complain . Poor customer service. Go elsewhere .

The staff is wonderful but the prices on these hair dyes is wayy over priced and the hair dye that i got was permanent brights radiant orchid by ion doesnt even work it didnt dye my hair at all. Im so disappointed.

I went here like 3 months ago and my experience was uncomfortable. I just needed a toner and some hair bleach, and almost immediate after I walked into the store, the manager started following me, and repeatedly asked me was there anything she can help me with. I even caught her staring at me while I was looking at products. Obviously Im African American, but the steelyard is filled with predominantly AFRICAN AMERICAN shoppers. I was over it, and just left! I went to a local hair store near my house instead. The prices at Sallys are also over priced.

The most ghetto Sallys of all, here it is 11:10am, one of the employees said nothing I had to speak to her, she tells me to come back in 20 minutes the store should have been open at 11am.
