I was recommended this place by a friend and I am more than grateful. Several big name auto shops were quoting me $500-1500 to fix my extremely loud exhaust. I kept avoiding getting it done due to the cost and the inconvenience of not having a vehicle for a whole day. This place was honest and fixed my issue in 45min for $115. I cannot recommend this place enough. They don’t rob you like most places do and they’re very quick and honest. I will definitely be going back for future repairs.

We were on a road trip and began experiencing a strange noise with our engine. We called and Plains auto was happy to get us in ASAP and let us know what was going on with our engine. They were very friendly and helpful in a time of need. Thank you! I would recommend working with this business!

This is an excellent place for car repairs. I take both of mine here. Honest, knowledgeable, fairly priced. Theyre also accommodating of schedules, with after-hours drop-off and pick-up when paying over the phone with a credit card. Were very blessed to have such a great automotive repair shop nearby.

Upon first calling, the receptionist helped me out as pleasant as could be. The estimate was reasonable, cost and time-wise. When I got there the receptionist helped me drop off my car quick, telling me theyd give me a jingle when its ready(with an estimate as to when). Got a call a little before the time she mentioned, came, and my car was ready and cost under the estimate. Very happy overall. Would recommend.

The absolute best general auto repair shop. Unassuming little place. Im on my 3rd car or van that I have taken there. I have always had a positive experience. Great work for a fair price. Call Danielle, she handles all of the appointments. 100% honest. They have been able to work with my schedule, and were nice enough to check out the car that I have before I bought it, no charge. I recently got new tires for my car and was searching for an place to have a wheel alignment done. When I searched online and got quotes from a few different places, Plain Brothers was ~$40-$50 cheaper than all other places. It was quick and easy to make an appointment within a few days by emailing with Danielle. On the day of the appointment, they performed an alignment check and told me that the tires were actually already aligned. They didnt charge me anything at the end of the day. I really appreciate their honesty and professionalism--not only are their prices beyond fair, but they couldve easily charged me the money for the alignment and I wouldnt have known any different. I will definitely be coming back!

Plain Brothers Auto Services with so helpful and friendly! We were passing through Cleveland in the midst of a 14 hr road trip when our car started making a funny noise. We pulled off, found them. They took the car up on the rack right away, fixed the offending item (a dragging heat shield) and had us safely back on our way in about 30 minutes. We couldnt be more grateful. Great place with honest mechanics. They have one person dedicated just to answering the phones and greeting customers. This makes a huge difference when youre not interrupting a mechanic from his work. Please dont tell anyone about this place as its already busy because of their good reputation.

It was probably 5 or 6 years ago that a tow truck operator told us about Plain Brothers, and I am so glad he did. In my 30 plus years of going to auto repair places I have never been as happy with anyone as I have been with Plain Bros. They are extremely reliable, their work is excellent, their prices reasonable. They are friendly, AND they are HONEST. Instead of charging us for work, they have at times told us what we can do without having to pay anything. This did not work in their favor; thats what I call honesty. They are always happy to give helpful advice. The customer service is genuine; top-notch. The atmosphere in the waiting area is one of, I would say community, believe it or not! It seems like everyone are friends. Thats what their customer service under Danielle effortlessly engenders. 5 starts all the way!

Theyre prompt, reasonable, and honest, which is way more than I can say about Northcoast Auto Direct, where I bought my used car from!! Plain Brothers are fixing the problem that Northcoast Auto Direct knew about when they sold me the car, but didnt disclose that info!!! Danielle is a sweet person who knows her job!!Update 1/23/20. One of their ex mechanics apparently wasnt performing up to their standards and my car had to be repaired less than a month after the original repair for the exact same reason! Theyve since fired that mechanic and they made it right for me at no additional cost! Plus offered my next oil change on the house!Now Thats how to make things right!!

They are so helpful and friendly. They looked over my car everywhere and test drove it and exposed a MAJOR issue with my car that I was able to contact the dealership I bought it from about and they did it for no charge. Theyre always 100% honest and focused on helping you as much as possible. I definitely recommend you go to them with any concerns you may have or just for general maintenance.

Friendly, fast and reasonable! This place just plain rocks (sorry, bad pun). If you are one of the few remaining people who actually does their own work - this is one of the rare shops that will still press bearings for you. The cost turned out to be 1/4 what I was initially quoted, my grimy parts were sparkling clean when I picked them up and covered with fresh, correct bearing grease and my new bearings were seated nicely. I am impressed, and happy to have found a trustworthy place for my autos. Highly recommended.

Was recommended to this shop from a trusted family friend. The first thing I noticed was the kind of laid-back atmosphere they had there in that old and new customers could talk to them about whatever car problems they had and also some customers would just stop on by and talk about their families and such. When it came to my car problem, they let me know the repair and replacement of parts would cost a few hundred which would be the standard at most shops. And then they did something unexpected and told me about an alternate fix, one that would save me some serious dough! I took the latter route and then they gave me a new customer discount on top of that!So yes I would recommend plain brothers since theyre personable, offer good prices, and do good work on cars.
