Owner warm and informative of the current plight of the gundam

I have driven up and down Gulf-to-Bay many times over the last few years and I have never noticed his hobby shop tell last weekend so I rode down there from Pasco today...the gentleman that ran the place was very friendly and very good selection of paint and some other supplies.. add a pretty good selection of military models considering its a small store... I also noticed notice that the store had a very good selection of Traxxas RC vehicles and parts... I bought me a model why was Aaron some supplies and the prices are very good.. even though its about almost an hour ride for me I will be returning to this store again..

If youre interested in ground vehicles. They have a great selection.

Not many brick and mortar hobby shops left. Dont count them out. These guys are pretty good.

Nice little hobby shop. First time in there. Immediately noticed prices, which are extremely reasonable, even less than Amazon. Highly recommended for any age. Purchased a small ferris wheel building kit for less than $15. Support your local businesses.

Man roy and kenny are the best. Roy allways help me out with soldering my batteries connections on because I run xt90s on everything. Roy is really knowledgeable about just about everything I havent asked him a question that he didnt figure it out or know the answer to awesome set of people in the store I would recommend them to anybody. Plus its way better to support your local hobby shop then to support some random person online

Great little hobby shop. Recently got into planes and have gone there for parts and got advice and tips. Answered every question I had and just a very pleasant experience. Support our local shops, small or big purchases, everything help them. We need them to keep our addiction going! Great place and go check them out, they got plenty of ready to go stuff, planes, cars, helis, drones.. This is my personal opinion and no one asked me to review, they deserve it. I was just there yesterday and had a great time. 10/10

Was online looking into RC Boats and narrowed my search to a few boats. This place is a dealer for ProBoat. After speaking with the salesman we determined what boat was for me. He had to order the boat, but came in in just a few days. Price was the same as I found online, but I received much valuable information on operation and maintenance for my boat. He has upgrades, lubrication, spare parts in stock. Dont do online, go talk with this guy!

Don’t think I could have saved money by ordering online. Probably even saved money by buying in shop.Some things were a bit less than online prices. There’s no people to give good advice online. If you live in the Bay Area and want anything that can be had in this shop, you’d be nuts to buy online. Point being, don’t buy online! Drive down here and support a local brick and mortar! Completely worth it and I will get everything I need in shop!

Outstanding customer service

This is a fantastic RC hobby shop with a huge selection of Traxxas RC Cars and at great prices. While you can shop online retailers, ”DON’T”. The knowledge of the Jackson Brothers is “PRICELESS”. Brick and Mortar stores are all but becoming obsolete, because of the online boom. We drove from Sarasota, and I am so glad we chose to. We got a great DEAL. The Jackson brother answered all of our questions and and made sure we had everything we needed to launch in to our first REAL RC car. Thank you Jackson Brothers.

Everything I need with quality parts

Amazing small hobby shop with various hobbys covered in a very small area. Dont let the looks of the place fool you. Theyve got a great selection and even better service. For a hole in the wall hobby shop they have a great selection and the brothers that run the store are awesome. Their kindness and service doesnt end at the sale. Theyll guide you through any questions you may have, offer tips and even help you out with repairs etc. Definitely worth giving this small local shop your business, they really treat everyone that walks through the door like a personal friend.

If youre into RC this is a place you should at least drop in. Had a nice conversation with the owner.

Roy is the master of Traxxas and RC in Pinellas county. He has been so great and kind to me and my brothers. Excellent customer service and even held the door open a few minutes late for me one night. His prices are at or below Amazon at the same price. Great family environment and just all around great person.

The sales people know lots about everything in the store. BTW I really like their Gundam build on your own models. Great gift for nerdy kids. Nice books for building middles school dioramas and such. Theyve got a sweet motorcycle in there too.

Went into the shop looking for a rocket for my son. The staff is very knowledgeable and polite. They have everything you need for RC cars, buggies, trucks, boats, and drones. Good bit of train set decorations, models. Everything and anything you need. Great local store. Will be back soon for paints and rockets.

This has become my go to hobby store despite many other options being closer. I tend to prefer Tamiya paints and Jackson Brothers both has the best selection I have come across and the best prices. Its hard to find better prices online, yet alone in a physical store.The store is very well organized and easy to navigate and the owner has always been helpful.

One of the last true hobby shops still around. For a small store they have a lot of inventory. Staff is friendly and the store is clean and well organized. If youre into models, RC, drones, and rail transport modelling be sure to check them out.

This place is awesome! I am fairly new to the area and was looking for a mom and pop hobby store. I found these guys on accident, and have been very pleased since my 1st trip. They are extremely helpful and will not try to up sell you to something that you dont want or need. I have been to other places where i try to buy things and they insist i need so many other items, and i leave feeling whooped. These guys at Jackson know their models, and RC and have opinions and input but ultimately it is the customers wants and needs that are taken 1st. If i have an issue they are more than willing to help! The prices are more than competitive with even online shopping prices. They carry all of the parts, paints and accessories that i need for my RC. I have and will continue to support this place with my money for my Rc affliction.

Visiying this shop was a great experience. When I was younger, I was really into building models and recently started back building again. The staff was extremely helpful and very knowledge anout he many different model kits that they had, various painting techniques for giving your models a personal touch. A great experience all around.

Went here today and got an RC Airplane and RC Helicopter. Owner knew exactly what he was talking about and he was SUPER helpful. He didnt try to sell the most expensive thing, he gave his opinion on what would be right for us as beginners. We will be back for sure for parts and more toys!

I was there on vacation and stopped by a few different shops in the area. Jacksons Brothers was extremely clean, tidy and very well organized, and the one guy who was working was friendly and don’t follow me around and make me uncomfortable.He has replacement parts for every model that he stocks. And also has somthing that most enthusiasts will like.The building doesn’t have the greatest curb appeal, but don’t let that fool you.The other shops in the area were so jam packed, un-organized, and they seemed to be knowledgeable in one style of hobby. Any questions asked they would just relate back to the one product they had and how it’s better. Not to mention they followed me around like a dog waiting to poop..👍🏼👍🏼 To Jackson’s Bro’s!!

The store is well organized and not cluttered like many other shops Ive seen. They have a great selection of replacement and upgrade parts available. EXTREMELY competitive prices! This is the only hobby store in Clearwater that carries Gundam models. Not only do they have a large selection, but they sell kits across the Gundam universe for Japanese prices. A ¥1600 kit will cost you $16.50 thats cheaper than Amazon! Their selection is great and all their supplies are VERY well priced. If youre looking for gunpla or any scale models and supplies, this is your one stop shop! 10/10
