When I first arrived, all staff were assisting others and Flo was out of the office. I did a self tour of all of the models and when I tell you-Looks Can Be/Are Deceiving! I bypassed The Sand Key model without a second glance because the outside was standard with the steps, no stained glass or window paned front door, and no porch like the Dunedin model or deck. I begrudgingly decided to look inside of the Sand Key........And instantly fell in LOVE! I had to walk back out the door to see if it was the same model! This Home is GORGEOUS(See attached photos)! And it’s on my wish list to purchase. My Second and third “Wow!” occurred inside of the Bellair and the Vinoy Models with their spaciousness and features. Jacobsen is outdoing themselves with these homes! I am very impressed! On top of that the staff is very friendly. Flo is very knowledgeable and patient! I cannot wait to start my process towards purchasing the Sand Key.

My husband and I are looking for a new home to downsize to for retirement. I dreaded the idea of a Mobile Home . To my surprise these homes were absolutely beautiful and I was not expecting that. The young lady named Linsay showed us all the extra features offered. She was a great help in showing us the benifits of these homes. My thirty day report was addressed recently by Larry. I want to compliment Larry for his excellent workmanship in completing all issues, from adjusting doors and drawers, installing moldings, and adding handles. His talent, professionalism and courtesy reflect credit upon himself and Jacobsen Citrus Homes.

This place reeks of customer indifference. I got the impression that I wasnt even welcome there. No specific answers to questions, no offer to show me a model anything that would make a prospective customer feel welcome.

Im very impressed with Flo and her detailed professionalism. My initial interactions with the Citrus Home support staff were definitely not what I had hoped they would be. There was a persistent lack of communication that was often very frustrating. I felt I never knew where things stood or what was supposed to be done next. I love my Jacobsen but was soured on the Citrus Homes support_ which you need when you purchase a new unit.Then suddenly there was Flo. My initial conversation left me stunned. Her responses to questions and concerns were detailed, professional, organized and prompt. She immediately got in touch with the appropriate contractors and set up repairs. She also provided a timeframe. I found that particularly helpful. Once I spoke with her, I stopped thinking about the issues. She also checks back to see if repairs have been completed.Several of my neighbors have stopped to ask about the home and dealings with Citrus. Until Flo, I would answer honestly that although the folks were nice, the process was not organized and at times concerning. But with the addition of Flo, I now sing the praises of Citrus.Actually, with Flo, I can see Citrus Homes quickly standing out as one of the premier Jacobsen retailers in FL.

Very nice homes and the staff were also very nice. We purchased a home already but we stopped in with our daughters and they were very up front on prices and showed us all the homes on the model center. We walked into each one and we really were amazed how nice they ALL were.One of the best things was we can buy the home as a mobile or as a modular home.Great experience at this place and we have looked around a lot. We feel comfortable with the people the homes and the prices at Citrus Homes and our daughter has spent a lot of time working with them to design a perfect home and we think she has done just that and all at a fantastic price. Thank you for the tour, We loved it and had a lot of fun.

With all the details, decisions, and unknowns, buying a new manufactured home can either be a nightmare, or a dream come true.Our experience with Citrus-Meadowood was a dream come true. From design finishes to financing, our rep, Mark was always available to help answer questions and kept us informed every step of the way.Not only were Mark and his staff instrumental in the process, they were there after the sale when we needed a few issues taken care of.We have recommended them to others, and our neighbors who went with Citrus were also happy with the selections and service levels.If you are in the market for a new manufactured home, put Citrus Meadowood at the very top of your dealer shopping list.

Walked in here to inquire about the price of a manufactured home and there was no one at the reception desk or the visible offices. I looked around and called out to see if anyone would answered. Eventually a lady came out from one of the back offices and just stared at me like I was there to rob her. She asked me how can I help you in a very awkward way and proceeded to call a gentlemen who I presume to be the owner. He also seemed to be bothered by my presence and asked me what I was looking for. I told him and he looked at me and asked me in a very belittling tone do you know how much these houses cost? I told him that I didnt know and he went to his office to get a copy of a floor plan. I asked him the price and he said hell have to run some numbers. He went and sat on his desk and came back a few minutes later with the price. The whole time I was just standing there in the lobby area. Never did they bother with offering me a seat or treating me like a potential customer. Needless to say, I left and have no intentions of ever doing business with this company. I was made to feel like a burden and felt profiled as soon as I was approached. I am a Latino young man and I want to really believe I wasnt being discriminated against, but who knows. I am well mannered and polite to everyone I meet, unfortunately that didnt help me that day. A Caucasian man came in while I was there and he was received with a smile and a tour of the available model homes. Go figure. Ive never written a bad review for any business, but Im abhorred by this experience and wanted to warn others. Two stars because I wasnt asked to leave with a shotgun pointed to my face.
