This location was closed for a long time. But, it re-opened February of this year (2021). Go at a moderate speed, Its directly across the street from Havertys Furniture. It sits back off the street and can be easily missed. They sell almost everything for the home. You may find furniture, light fixtures, ceiling fans, paint, paint supplies, light bulbs, flooring, flooring supplies, bicycles, paintings, tools, housewares, appliances, cabinetry, knobs, bathroom vanities, tubs, camodes, indoor and outdoor doors, lighting accessories (light shades/globes, house hold items, mattresses. Just about anything you would need for a home. The people are welcoming and there are volunteer opportunities. It remains a place to visit for that unique affordable household item.

If you are doing some remodeling or fixing something unique, check here first. Good prices, selection varies. Although we didnt find what we were looking for today, we got some great ideas for a few fix up projects for those who cant, especially in todays New world. The store was slightly busy on todays visit, obviously people have heard of their great deals. All precautions are marked and everybody I saw today was wearing a mask. How refreshing!! We will be back!!

Hot diggity dog - these prices were high. It seems that the pricing between locations varies drastically. For instance, at the time we went there was a used Lil Tub Utility sink for $90. Checking Amazon, we saw that the same item brand new was only $70. We understand that the profits go to a good cause; however, wed rather not overpay for used items and it made us feel as though they were taking advantage of their customers good intentions; i.e. spending their money where they know it helps others. High pricing doesnt leave the customer with incentives to shop at this location often if at all.Things to consider: prices are high, you may be able to find the items you want cheaper at a different ReStore location or brand new. Dont over pay: if you want to contribute thats great! Overspending just isnt appealing and a donation to the location or organization may be better.

Ive been here before and had hope that this time would be different.I was in the store maybe 20-25 minutes. 10 so she spoke to me and said Hello how are you doing today today? But never asked if she could help me. (She went to the register to help someone who had been standing there since I first walked in).The rest of the time I was there other associates and volunteers walked past me as if I wasnt even there.I also heard them ask people who had come in after me if they needed help.Finally, after realizing that I was not going to be helped at all, I gave up hope and left.I can go to to my local city town meeting if I want to be ignored.

Love this place. Great prices, lots to choose from, fun to see the new old things they get in. Support those less fortunate and fix your house at the same time! Dont put your old items in the landfill, help your neighbors. Highly recommend!!!

Great prices. Lots of new and used building supplies. Employees are helpful and friendly. I have also negotiated a better price than posted. Lots of nice furniture and some random thrift store type items.

The Habitat Restore in Pinellas is a great place to shop for quality items at a discount. It is fun going in there and never knowing what you will find. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Kevin is always willing to help us find what we need! All in all the Habitat Restore is a great place to shop and has a great cause to support!!

Can be a good source of bargains if you are able to get there during their limited business hours. I do not understand how they make enough money to even pay the utility bill with the bankers hours they keep these days.Sorry for the bad rap but get with the program guys and get it in gear.

We dropped off a furniture donation. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Pay close attention if you are buying the furniture. We bought a couch there and found out that it leaves parts of the covering all over the place. Welp, this is our own fault (had to inspect the item more carefully).Otherwise, there isnt anything extraordinary (good or bad) about the place.

Clean and organized, well lighted. Not as much merchandise as other Restores but what they had seemed good quality. Good parking, good commercial neighborhood, easy to find.

Friendly and very helpful. Everything was set up for Social distancing. And that made us feel comfortable.

Good variety of home needs at decent prices. Sinks, vanities, tiolets, lights, tiles and more.

Love love love coming here....it has great stuff but its first come first serve... if u see something u love buy it because things get sold fast. its a hit n miss. Great for home remodeling. I got my vintage looking dinning room table from here ...it came from wayfair... they get things donated from wayfair n hsn super nice things.

We stop by when we are in the area. They have really cleaned up the merchandise. I miss rummaging through all the clutter though. Good deals on used house supplies and decor. Even the kitchen sink!

Absolutely the best deal ever that I have had from the Restore on 49th Street. A perfect front exterior door and an unbelievable deal on a Baldwin polished brass front door dead bolt and lock set. I had expert help and assistance from the employees from this store. Thanks very much.

We love this place! Lots of bargains. Everyone is so helpful. Glen was especially helpful. Helped us to find items we needed and to get them loaded into our vehicle. We also tried out the Green Paint line. We were very impressed. Economical and it had great coverage. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in there today. Lady up front was very rude. When I asked where the restroom was she refused stated there is no restroom. I can not believe someone would refuse to allow a customer who is disabled to use the facilities. I gladly put the stuff down that I was going to purchase and left the store. Apparently habitat for humanity is above the code laws and does not have to provide what every other company in Florida has to. Would give 0 stars if I was able to.You say that is due to covid. That is such bs... so people shopping in your store is safe from covid, but if they use your bathroom they would not be safe from covid. That doesnt even make any since. And it still doesnt put you above code. I can go shopping at other Habitat stores & use the restrooms. So please stop lying and using covid as an excuse. And if your employees was so concerned about getting it they would wear their mask covering both mouth & nose and wear eye protection.

Unable to accept the donation of great condition bi-fold doors and a ceiling fan. These are difficult times for everyone...

Restore is a decent place to find some building materials and other misc. items. Today I went there for a bathroom vanity (which they didnt have anything that would work), and ended up finding a solid wood twin bed frame with side storage for $85. In the past, I have found good deals on doors, tile, and mirrors. Will go back when Im hunting for other items as the prices are not bad.

First and foremost: GLENNS A ROCK STAR! With his magnetic personality, caring support and vast knowledge, Glenn makes Restore a warm and welcoming visit. Owning multiple rentals I enjoy trolling Habitat regularly, sometimes more than once a day. I virtually rebuilt one rental with all the deals I found. Dont blink though, or youll find the item you like sold before you can say Ill take it. Special shout-out to Val whos always kind attitude and assistance round out a wonderfully run establishment. If I had one gripe it would be that I didnt find Habitat for Humanitys Restore earlier. -See you guys soon!!!

Before you go to Home Depot or Lowes definitely check this place out. best value for your money and Kens customer service is outstanding!!! I strongly recommend you volunteer there if you have to do community service... Just great people.

I liked habitat Restore, but I expected to see more items.All in all it was a good place.

I thought it was a very nice store with a good variety. But the a man I ask for help was very rude he lost the sale. There was one in the countryside and the people were very nice there and they closed that one. I dont understand why they why they closed because they were better to their customers then the habitat closer to my house.

Glen was most helpful. I went looking for an indoor door oh, there was many doors nothing in perfect condition but definitely affordable. Ive never been there before and didnt realize it had so much to offer, door handles locks ceiling fans windows tile small end tables kitchen tables

Is a shame the store closes before people get off work. At least stay open til 5. Guess those of us that work have to suffer.

Great place just to go look at things bit even better if they have what your looking for. Since there selection changes from day to day you never know what you can find. They really do have any thing you could need for your house like tile, beds, sinks, doors along with so many other things. Plus the money you spend goes to helping others. Win win for everyone. Visited my brother in a Nursing Home, during the Christmas holidays and stayed at a hotel located across the street from Habitat for Humanity, Re Store. Shopping there was like going on a treasure hunt. They have a variety of unique items and home accessories, at very low cost. I purchased a ceiling light fan and a brass coffee table base which adds spark to my New York apartment. The staff was great, particularly,Glenn and Marsha. who were extremely helpful. I am, so, impressed with your establishment that I will spread the word to family and friends, to look for Re Store in their home states.

I was in the store last week with my family. The man that helped me was so rude, and he told me the prices were the prices no changes, I wanted a fridge and stove! He also smelled like alcohol after walking past him. I will not being going back to this store ever, and I will be telling everyone else not to go to this store!

Great bargains.

This location is great.... Im not driving to Tampa or Sarasota usually. Ive been to those locations and found they have similar recycled materials. Prices are normal of recycled items priced in this country. Customer service has always been good. Glenn has always been informative, helpful, and supportive. I have enjoyed strolling in. Of course, its hit and miss due to the nature of this type of store.... this is to say... u come back again and again and you may find something next trip in there. Of course, you may buy something that will need TLC... thats part of this type of industry. Thank you Habitat.

Great place to find anything from furniture to tools and many other home improvement or DIY goods. The employees and volunteers are very helpful and the prices are extremely reasonable. They dont always have what you are specifically looking for but you have to approach the experience with an open and creative mind. They are constantly getting new donations and some of them come straight from Home Depot or other partnerships they have! Make sure to check them out or give them a call before going to Home Depot of youre looking to fix something or start a project yourself.

Best store in Florida!!!!!! Deals!!!!! The staff are like family! So helpful! John, Glen, Val are a few of the amazing staff !!!! Every time I go they answer all my questions. They give me a tape measure every time I come!!!! It’s so much fun shopping here. The variety is great! You can furnish your whole house For fractions of the cost! Best kept secret!

Not nearly as much stuff as the Oldsmar store or what used to be the store on Hwy 19. I stop only when Im close by. In 4 tries Ive never found anything to buy. Very disappointing. Still you might find what you need as far as doors, ceiling lights, bathtubs, and some furniture.

Have been there several times. the store is clean and orderly they have a lot of things to choose from. we found some very nice things at a very good price. we enjoy looking at all the things they have. Glen was VERY helpful in finding what we were looking for. Keep up the good work.

Called today to ask about a specific size door I needed before I drove 45 minutes over to the location. I was told that they have a ton of doors and to come check myself. Clearly I’m aware of that, trying to save myself an unneeded trip! Sorry but that’s not an appropriate way to treat your customers. Disappointed in the lack of customer service skills and work ethic in your employees who answer the phone! Complete laziness, not to mention rude!

I have shopped for many years at habitat off of 49th street, I usually speak with Glenn who is very nice and professional. The volunteers are very helpful and super nice. But the other day when I was there shopping Glenn wasn’t there but a gentleman named John was there so I went to ask him a few questions I had about some of the items there, i found him very unprofessional and rude due to giving me an attitude and not helping me at all,with that being said I will not be shopping there if John is there I will only deal with Glenn and other staff.

I really needed to get out of the house today. My friend brought me here. I havent been feeling well from chemotherapy and I was treated so kindly. Lots of great inventory and always a great cause! Cant wait to go back!!!

Sometimes you find an odd thing you need like a toilet bowl cover but overall the prices are no cheaper than the box stores

I love this place! Its like hunting for treasure in here.. While there is somewhat of an organization to the general sorting of the items here, you still occasionally have to dig for some items and its honestly a lot of fun! I have found so many incredible finds here and the prices are much lower than the other Habitat for Humanity stores!

Yet another store jacking up their prices on stuff they get for free. I know they have to raise money but you have to be reasonable with your price to make it worthwhile buying, Habitat is not alone in this, it seems to be the trend and wont change until we stop overpaying

Awesome place, very clean and organized

I used to go here all the time and they did have 5 stars from me. Sometime end of 2017 they changed their pricing structure. Its now outrageously priced for whats there. left over boxs of glass tile from home depot $45 EACH - exact price of new at store. Furniture now almost at retail pricing. Pop up gazebo $50 more than Walmart online. No idea what happened, but i dont bother going anymore.

Volunteered many a times at this location. Great staff(for most part) and well organized. My only complaint is that sometimes they can be very picky on what they accept for donations and the prices can be kinda high to buy stuff there. I know though, at least a few years ago, you could always bargain with them on the price. Would volunteer again in a heartbeat if time permitted. I dont waste my time donating to this location anymore after refusal of perfectly good items last time, because it was raining and person didnt want to have to unload anything. Other than that one bad experience, great store!

Great place to find used appliances, cabinets, furniture, and household items in really good condition. The store in Clearwater is MUCH better priced than the one in New Port Richey! Were renovating a condo and wanted to install an above stove microwave in ivory/almond to match the existing appliances which work fine. They had two to choose from and it was only $30, cant beat that. The staff was real friendly and even helped load it into my car, thanks guys. I highly recommend this location.

Always a friendly staff. They have a lot of great stuff. Its one of the most well organized Restores Ive been to. And they have a pretty large selection.

Prices were incredible expensive for used stuff, unfriendly staff too
