Horrible horrible horrible -quoted me one price - paid another price. Parts didn’t fit and fought with me to get a refund on the parts. Called several times and they never returned my calls. They always tell me the person stepped out or gone for the day to call Monday and just gave me the run around. Very quick to take your money but will never offer a refund when clearly the parts were wrong. Do your research these r the wrong people to get a carbon fiber driveshaft from. When asked if the carbon fiber was from China they never clearly answered my question. They said yes it’s assembled in the USA but not where it’s from. I hope you don’t but these parts from this company.

Just recieved my steel driveshaft that I ordered with my trans through American powertrain. It looks beautiful, welds are perfect, paint is a rattle can job it appears sp only 4 stars. It fit perfect and cant wait to finally drive my ls swapped foxbody.

Recommended by a Friend, I had them make a Drive Shaft for me. I put AOD out of 93 Lincoln Town car in my 59 Ford Custom 300. When I got it it didnt quite fit right. Not their fault, not really mine... Turns out my Transmission is a oddball one and it needed some material machined off the Slip Yoke.They took care of it with no Hassle.I highly recommend them as they have fair pricing and will make it right for you.

Randomly came across their listing online, ordered a driveshaft the exact length I needed and it arrived much sooner than anticipated. Now my car drives amazing without a death wobble. I was quoted far more to lengthen the current driveshaft plus balance than it cost me to order this one. It was a no brainer! Now I know who to contact for custom drivelines!

This company is a joke. Do not order anything from here!!!!! I ordered a driveshaft and not only was it 3/4” longer than I ordered, the driveshaft was .045 out when we spun it with a dial indicator on it. Complete rip offs. Dangerous and incompetent!!!!!!!They refunded the cost of the driveshaft after attempting to send me another one. I have to send a reminder that I was expecting a refund and not another train wreck of a drive shaft. I would never recommend this company for any automotive purchases.

At first my experience started off great. However after receiving my driveshaft I was not impressed by the quality. 2 issues.1. Driveshaft did not have a SFI Sticker. The salesman said the all are SFI approved. But I guess you have to pay extra for the sticker.......Seems like false advertisement and a weird way to do business to me. Who wouldn’t want the sticker, so why not add it to your price?..... Even after complaining I still had to pay for a sticker to ship.....2. I spent $300 more than a local shop for the quality I have heard PST has. Not impressed. Driveshaft has marring and scratching all over it and the welds are very inconsistent. Let’s hope it holds up.

I went on their website looking for a driveshaft for my dodge dakota project. I submitted my order and the next day they sent me an email to call them. They picked up right away and the gentleman asked me a few questions about the vehicle, asked me for a few more measurements, and so on. About a week later i got the driveshaft via FedEx and it fit perfectly. The price for the upgraded aluminum driveshaft was very reasonable and actually cheaper than an OEM steel driveshaft. Looking at the driveshaft. The welds do look a little rough but in no way it will compromise the structure. My biggest gripe is that they used an adapter U joint on the back so id have to do through them if i have a problem. Not a big deal imo just something to note. Ive made a video of me installing this driveshaft on my personal youtube channel and i do recommend

If you want junk this is the company for you!! They built a driveshaft for me through American Powertrain and the quality is awful!! I spent a ton of money and it’s not usable!! And I was told to pound sand from American Powertrain so buyer beware!!

They can make or balance any kind of shaft..automotive or heavy equipment...very handy place to have around....)

PST was recommended to me by a guy on a drag racing page when I was looking for somebody to build me a custom driveshaft. They ended up being the only shop in the state that would build it for me and they did a great job and shipping was super fast. Ill never call anybody else for driveshaft work and will recommend to everybody

Terrible all around. I called about custom driveshafts for my jeep. They said bring it in. So I towed it there to make sure I got the correct lengths. There is no desk or reception area, so you just wander around asking for help. I finally got someone, but he didnt want to go under it to measure. So they got some kid to go under there and measure. They never call to say they are ready, so I call and they are done about 2 weeks later. Again, no receptionist, so I wander around until I find someone. After looking them over, 2 grease fittings are missing. They put them in. I take the shafts home and install. First trip offroad at Ocala, and the front shaft is too long, rear is too short!! Front bangs when compressed, rear fell out! Keep in mind these are sye shafts, should handle any amount of suspension travel, however the kid who measured them did it wrong. And surprise when I call no warranty on shafts for off road trucks. Go anywhere but here.If I had provided the measurements It would be all on me. But I borrowed a trailer and towed it up there, so the $$$ shafts I bought would be exact. Boy was I wrong.I found another shop who shortened the one and made me a new one for the other out of the parts. They measured also, and two guys went under there to measure twice.

Got a defective u-joint that broke second launch at track. Shaft was a chromoly one rated for 2500hp. Car makes 600hp. It broke transmission tail housing in the process. At first PST said they where going to replace the shaft and pay for the new tail housing. Then they decided to change their mind and try to claim the trans locked up at the end of the track and they wouldnt cover any of it. Even with tons of witnesses and the GForce transmission stating it never locked up and that they could see the scarring in 1st gear where it happened, PST flat out refused to make it right when they originally said they would. They did at least give the money back for the original shaft but still out the money spent sending it back, sending transmission back (GForce kindly fixed for free), and damage done to paint and sheet metal on underside of the car.
