Carpenters worked for a week putting in a whole wall of new hurricane windows and a front door. They did an excellent, professional job. Once the drywall, stucco and paint crews finish, I will write up another review of the entire job. For now though, I am very pleased with the carpenters work.

Wonderful Experience. I recently had a new window cut into a solid wall. Pat, Allen, Dave and the Armortech team did a great job. Thanks to them, I now have a beautiful window and can enjoy an open-water view from my desk. They were great to work with, professional and finished ahead of schedule. It took quite a while to get the door but it wasnt their fault due to production delays. Wow. Just wow. We needed our front door replaced as well as the sliding glass door. Brian the salesperson was very empathic and understanding of the security breach and the sense of urgency and was very knowledgeable. Excellent support from showroom sales and very willing to work with us on door selection. Installation work was done very quickly and cleanly, with little disruption to the rest of the house. Front door was done in a little over 4 hours and it looks like it came with the house. Clean well done work.

RYAN and ERIC did a great job installing 13 high impact windows for us. They are super efficient workers, who prepped the work area well and cleaned-up as they went. The weather was hot, humid and rainy during the part of the install, but they were organized and worked as a team lessening the impact of opening our home up to the outside during such nasty weather. We appreciate their hard work.

Armortech just replaced 8 windows in our house. The installers Juan and Shane did a great job. They arrived on time both days. The install went smoothly and the windows look fantastic. My wife and I immediately noticed how quiet the house was. Juan and Shane cleaned up like they were never there. So far so good. We have had 8 of our 11 windows installed by Juan, Scottie (Mike) and Shane. They were all friendly, respectful and helpful. For a decade now Dave and the guys at Armortech have been my go to for doors. 2010 was my first experience with them and they did a beautiful design, impact front door and sidelight at my home. 10 years later (2020), I needed a front (entry) and side door replaced on a different property and I knew who to call.Dropped in to their Hercules showroom, which is VERY nice, went over what I was looking for and the various options. I wasnt looking for a standard or typical install, but that didnt slow the guys down one bit. A little back and forth on what would work for my application and desires, and it came together just as I wanted.One small issue on the trim that I wasnt completely happy with and Dave had his guys come out and fix it right away. You cant beat that type of service, which is standard at Armortech!The 1st series of pictures are the front and the 2nd series are of the side entry door. On the 2nd set, its nothing fancy, but the old door was rotting, leaking and looked horrible. The Armortech install crew did a fantastic job on both the doors, but the side door was so bad, that I was really blown away how nice it looked and super excited once it was replaced. The difference on both were night and day.THANK YOU ARMORTECH and THANK YOU Dave!!

We signed our sliding glass door contract on February 1, 2021. My wife has called periodically throughout our wait and we were told the same thing, we have not received the doors yet from the manufacturer. She calls 3 weeks ago and they say they have had the doors since JUNE, they are just waiting on the tracks. Flash forward to yesterday. I got on the phone this time and gave them a taste of being angry and frustrated. They never gave us an update in the 6 1/2 months weve waited thus far. I asked the person on the phone who is holding the manufacturer responsible for being this late and he said PGT Windgard doesnt care.... That sums it up folks. If the manufacturer doesnt care, they shouldnt either. After my tirade, guess what? Our tracks came in last night. Now we have to wait another month to get them installed. Please dont do business with this company. The KNEW that PGT was backed up and they continued taking orders regardless. They are not responsible for the manufacturing delays, but they sure are responsible for the HORRIBLE customer service. No calls or updates, nothing. They took a $6,800 down payment and I thought that would get us something, sadly no. They probably had the material the whole time and were just leisurely getting around to doing installs. Pitiful.

Installation of hurricane windows was extremely professional. They were installed by Jim and Brandon and what a bang up job they did. The back up people were also good, Jeff and Jacob. the stucco people, Pat and Ryan are in the process of finishing up the window. I cant say enough about Armortech Window and Door. I highly suggest giving them a call if you are in need of windows and/or door.

I called Armortech to replace my door because 2 years ago they did an excellent job on all of my windows. Juan was courteous & on time. He made sure everything was clean when he left. The process was easy from deciding on the door to final installation. Great company to work with.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.I had my contract signed a May 2019 and project got started in Sep 2019.Multiple issues including damaged property and unfinished work.I reported the company to BBB and the owner is out right refusing to complete the work until I remove the review. I will not remove the review because it is completely accurate and I believe others should not have to go through what I experienced.Attached are photos of a cut they left on a window sil that led to water damage in the house. I repaired the interior damage before noticing the cut. They rushed to fill the cut once I informed them I saw it and was having an insurance adjuster check it out. Their insurance could not see the cut (since armortech filled it ) and denied the claim. You can also see rusted hinges even though they are not even a year old. I also have cracked window frames. And a cut on an exterior wall above a door.Dave the owner came out 05-20-20 and compiled a list of items that needed to be complete. He then had Jessie ask me to sign the list of items that also included a statement that I would remove my review. I refused to remove the review and Dave said then we will not do the work and left.Obviously there is no value in this companys warranty or service.Please avoid them at all cost.

Had a new front door installed today by Scott and Ryan who work for Armortech Wind and Door, Clearwater, FL. They did a fabulous job. Clean, efficient and courteous. They arrived on time and finished the whole project in a timely fashion. I would recommend the company and the installers enthusiastically.

Armortech installed 4 large sliding doors (one with 4 panels; one with 3 panels and two with 2 panels) in four rooms of our house and replaced 3 enormous arched windows in our family room. See photos.(1). Not the lowest bid (sketchy guy - no need for permit, etc!) but $20,000 less than some cookie cutter companies. Fair price for the job!(2) After getting into the final details after signing the Contract, we all realized we were having a problem with the enormous size of the main window at the arch. I wanted a particular grid pattern in the windows and was set on it. The height and weight of the glass made the required load bearing sections (mullions) of the main arched window look too massive and out of proportion. Over and over we all tried to get my grid idea to work, with great cooperation from PGT. After 3 different CAD type drawings, neither we nor Armortech were happy with the proposed look. Then Armortech brilliantly suggested that we slightly reduce in size this enormous window by 6 inches on each side, thereby bringing the window to a size that allowed us all to get rid of the massive load bearing sections. Perfect solution which resulted in EXACTLY the look I was trying to achieve -- a beautiful beautiful window. The additional cost to drywall, stucco & paint inside and out was offset a bit by the reduction in the cost of the glass and materials for that window!Throughout every step of the way, each and every employee we encountered was professional and thorough. They were meticulous to every detail. For example, after installation, they noticed that one section of one of the windows had a bubble in it. We never could see that bubble, but Armortech promptly reordered and then reinstalled that section.I cant recommend them highly enough!PS Click on the photo to open it up so that you can see the entire large window Im referring to.

I have waited some time to think over what I would say in this review as there is so much that took place with our window/door installation. Long story short, I would avoid this company and go with anyone else. While the PGT product they sold us was very good, their installation foreman and financing guy were horrible to deal with. We knew it would take some time to complete our install however, it took many more months than necessary due to ordering the wrong kitchen door and one window, poor workmanship, and failing to finish the install. We failed our first inspection and their followup guy had to come and finish up numerous items that the jobs foreman had allowed to be just left undone. The foreman did not answer most of our questions and he left the job stating it was done without conducting a walk thru and he never came back to deal with the many items he and his team left undone. Add to this, their finance guy Andrew kept calling me insisting we make our final payment when the job wasnt complete and then he wanted to argue with us about how we should go ahead and pay him despite the job being unfinished. I keep seeing their ads on TV and I just cant stay silent any longer. They are unprofessional and NOT dependable. I dread the thought if we ever have any type of warranty issue as I am sure we will have to go through a major hassle with them. I would avoid them at all costs, even if you have to pay more with a more reliable company.

Very happy with the installation team, Randy and Juan. They showed up promptly at the agreed upon time. We discussed briefly how to access the project and their truck, then they began working in earnest. They clearly had done this type of work before (replacing a sliding door to the deck with a french door and sidelight.) The work went smoothly and before they left they made sure that the job was complete and properly finished and everything was cleaned up. Couldnt be happier.After the first review, Juan and Shane installed 3 windows that I had ordered at the same time from Brian Sauer. Apparently windows take longer to manufacture. The installation went very well and was completed professionally. Before leaving, they were careful to clean up and leave the house in good condition. There is one more item to install and it is expected in less than 2 weeks.

Install completed today for impact windows upstairs at our little townhome. Going to get moving on order for downstairs. Jeff & Jacob did our install, and they were amazing. Extreme care was taken to not only do the install properly, but also to ensure that the house was kept clean. They used dropcloth at the door, vaccumed any debris from each days work, and in general were just super nice. Jeff made sure to show me that the proper screws were driven in every hole around the perimeter of the windows (and took pics as well; some are included here). In order to keep the HOA happy and use the same vinyl trim around the windows, they removed the existing vinyl siding from around the windows, applied flashing tape, installed the windows, and replaced the siding and trim. The noise reduction is glorious, and Im happy to no longer need to pop up on the roof and cover windows if a storm should come. These guys are top-notch.

Extremely satisfied with the work performed and overall experience. Jeff and everyone I interacted with in the process of getting my windows replaced were extremely friendly and a pleasure to do business with. Windows came in fast and were installed very quickly and efficiently, taking amazing care to protect my room to make sure that none of the construction dust was left anywhere. Jim and Juan arrived at our home a few minutes early, which was a pleasant surprise! They immediately began working to install four impact resistant windows. They spread tarps on the floor so they would not track in dirt and covered book shelves and our television. They worked very efficiently and professionally. We were very impressed with their work ethic. Jim explained to us that a county inspector would come to the house to inspect the work. He noted the most convenient days for us, and said Armortech would make the appointment for us, and let us know when it would be. We would highly recommend these two gentlemen.

We recently had Armortech replace two sets of sliding glass doors with PGT hurricane impact custom sliders. We found their pricing to be competitive and fair and were very pleased with their work. Our installation crew of Jim and Juan were extremely skilled and respectful. Jim went the extra mile and repaired our poorly installed front door that had been installed by another vendor at no charge.Ours was a big job that included a build in reduction of a 4 panel opening and replacement of a 2 panel opening and they did excellent work. The exterior stucco was completed today and looks great. Overall we were very satisfied and plan on using Armortech in the future to upgrade more windows in our home.

Fairly new to Florida, 6 years, decided good idea to replace some windows that are impact resistant. Called Armortech from their ad, Dave came and gave estimate, very fair. We dont finance purchases but when Dave said we could w/o finance charges in a limited time frame we signed up. Took quite awhile due to Covid. Windows came in when expected, installation scheduled within a week. Installers, Adrian and Rod were extremely polite, neatly dressed, respectful and pleasant. Besides that they worked really well together, Rod kind of new but had been taught very well by Adrian. They answered any questions I had, cleaned up perfectly. Weve ordered more windows and I asked if they could be our installers on next job. They said we could request them which we definitely will. Totally satisfied with Armortech from start to finish.

My experience with Armortech Window & Door was absolutely superb from start to finish. Brian was great (and especially patient) while helping me choose the windows and doors and evaluating different options in the store. Then Brian (different Brian) helped me modify the project when he was taking final measurements, and he had some great advice that really made it more successful. But the absolute best part of the whole process were Chad and Brian (yes, a 3rd Brian). They did the actual installation which included 5 windows, 4 sliding glass doors, and a new front door. They were thorough, efficient, professional, and personable. They did an exquisite job and they happily answered all of my questions and concerns as soon as they came up. The entire process was seamless and I couldnt be more satisfied with the entire process.

I had Josh come to my house on 12/14/20 to measure my windows for an estimate. Five weeks later I’m still waiting. I have called numerous times and keep getting the runaround. Last call was last Thursday and was told they were working on it as we speak. She told me should have it in an hour. I’m still waiting!
