We came into Deolinda’s shop with no time to spare.My sister decided to elope while we were on vacation in Anna Maria Island. For 3 days we looked for the perfect 👗. We went to many dress shops until we phoned Ms. Deolinda 😇. The next morning was it! We find a dress or.......? Thank God for Ms Deolinda she is amazing she sold us a dress and did alterations In like 3 hours !! AMAZING!! Deolinda is so real, she made everything happy and joyful 😀 !! I took a dress that I bought online to Deolindas to be altered. I was nervous that it wasnt going to be possible to make it fit or meet the time constraints that I needed by. Deolinda superseded my expectations!!! The stress was absolutely beautiful and fit like a glove!

This review is long over due but never to late! I got married last December 2017 and let me tell you my wedding would not have happened if it hadnt been for Deolina!! My husband and I planned our beach wedding in one month which gave me no time to find a dress. I ended up ordering one online and once I received it I obviously needed some tailoring done. Deolina went above and beyond to fit me into her already busy schedule to alter a wedding dress (talk about time consuming) IN ONE WEEK!! She was so sweet and thanks to her I felt like the most beautiful bride on my wedding day.

Truly amazing work. I went to Deolinda’s after David’s Bridal quoted me $750 for alterations (AFTER I was already pinned up and quoted $350 when I arrived for the appointment). They were upset with me for finding the new quote unreasonable and even ripped my dress while hastily unpinning it. Deolinda’s was by far a different experience: with only 2-3 weeks before getting married, she altered all 7 layers of my wedding dress, fit it to me perfectly, AND fixed the rip! Not only is she wonderful to talk to and work with, but she is so talented and has very reasonable prices. I highly recommend her for ANY type of alterations you need!

I came in with 3 dresses to decide which one to keep after hunting thru what seems like thousands of dresses for my step-sons wedding & wa la I bought one that she insisted I try on from her. The dress is a show stopper and so very reasonably priced! Meanwhile we had our CWB Chamber of Commerce awards dinner coming up so Idid keep one of the dresses that she altered for me. I have a fashion background having worked in NYC as a fit model & having owned my own women’s clothing boutique in Hoboken, NJ. The moment I put on the dress she said I’m gonna do this, this, this & that. I said yup she knows what she is taking about. Fantastic. Done. In addition my husband rented his tuxedo from her at a great price. It was different than ordered when it came in, so she called us right away and refitted him to be sure it was perfect. We both looked like total rockstars for the awards banquet and while he accepted his 2018 Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Services Award! Deolinda is the “real deal”. In business for 35 years she is so talented and very professional!!! She had everything ready the morning of the event and all if it was all perfect. She does extensive work for many of our out of town wedding guests, bride n grooms and for many of our local beach resorts too, in addition to local boutiques and our neighborhood people. I just haven’t worked with her yet. She is also a jewel 💎 of a person! What a sweetheart. Kind and funny, we had a blast when working in her shop! Not only did I find a seamstress so that now I can buy the outfit that just isn’t right that I fall in love with and have it fitted accordingly, I have a wonderful new friend. Miss Deolinda treated me like a queen when I came in looking for a bridal gown. At first, I was going to rent one. Due to COVID, we were planning a small, beach wedding and we plan to follow up with a larger reception post-COVID (whenever that may be). After trying on several and not quite loving them, she suggested that I consider buying a dress as the selection was wider. She brought me a dress that was like none Id even considered but I absolutely loved it! I will definitely be a returning customer as she is a very talented seamstress/tailor. She even customized my husbands tux jacket when he couldnt find exactly what he wanted in other stores. We just love Miss Deolinda!!

I brought my dress to Deolindas Bridal & Tailoring, I purchased the dress from Nikis Bridal, it was a sample dress, i got on sale. the dres was a size 14 and i am a size 2, so you can imagine my stress and worry, as i thought i had made a huge mistake, i wasnt sure that the dress could be altered to fit me, deolinda made this dress exceptional for my wedding day! she is amazing, she transformed my dress that a 14 to a 2, she is very nice and professional, her prices are more then fair she is wonderful!!! i had so many complements on my wedding!

Ive gone to Deolindas for almost 30 years and she has never failed to give me top notch, attentive service. Ive rented dresses from her, bought dresses from her and shes done alterations for me as well. Great service and a great person above all! Id recommend her to anyone.

I would recommend this place to ALL my family and friends. Went to return the awesome tuxedos my son rented for his fathers wedding. The owner of this place was running late this morning and instead of making excuses~ she just apologized and offered to buy me breakfast. I am very big on customer service and this place gets an A+ hands down!!!!

My husband has known her since he was little. He got his suit for our wedding tailored here and I got one of my bridal dresses hemmed here. She’s such a sweetheart and she did an awesome job on both!

So today I decided to call to simply ask how long a dress would take to get altered, (keep in mind Ive never gotten a dress altered before.)From the get go she was extremely rude but as soon as I told her the time frame of when I needed the dress done she started hysterically laughing into the phone and basically told me there was no way shed have the time to do it and kept snickering under her breathe. Which is fine that she wouldnt have time but Im pretty sure a more professional Im sorry but in the time I have alloted I wouldnt be able to get it done without the condescending laughter would have sufficed just fine.Im in pure disbelief of the professionalism I just encountered.

She went above and beyond all my expectations. I would not go to any one else to get my alterations done or any other seamstress work you may have. She cut and sewed my sons fatigues on to a American flag and did a fantastic job.

I love her she has always done all my tailoring...even in a pinch! Very reasonable and always so super friendly. Definitely the lady that will take care of you and takes pride in her work!

Deolinda transformed my wedding dress 2 1/2 years ago and I could not be happier with the service she provided and completely trust her. Since then, she has done wedding dresses for a few friends including one next week.I wish I had a before photo of this dress - before she got her hands on it it did not have near the shape it did on the wedding day. She truly MADE this dress!This review is a bit delayed as I walked back into her shop today with my tail between my legs because I made the mistake of going to a closer seamstress for a bridesmaid dress after moving. Deolinda is the best in Pinellas county and you will be glad you went to her.

The best tailor in Tampa Bay Area very fast always does a great job dealing with my picky taste and very personable I originally went there when i needed last minute tailoring of a suit for a dinner and I ended up using deolinda for my wedding and everyday tailoring don’t go anywhere else you won’t regret it.
