I have been going here for for many many years. I love this pet store - up until now. They have hired a new employee and she is bringing the store down, Customer service is not the job for Stephanie. Other than her I love this pet store and the groomers too!!

Visited the store yesterday for the first time and I will definitely be back!!!! The staff are terrific and super knowledgeable! I just set up a new fish tank for the first time and one of the staff (did not catch her name unfortunately) gave me some terrific information on setting up a successful tank. Terrific place for all your pet needs and great prices!!! :-D

Ive been bringing my pets here for grooming for years. Michelle and Destiny are great! The rest of the staff is always very friendly and accommodating.They also have a great selection of pet food and products.

They have an AMAZING selection of fish. Rare fish. Aggressive fish. Community fish. Fancy goldfish. They even had a baby Arowana on sale!! A nice mom and pop place that has amazing fish because they love keeping them themselves. Come here first!!!

I just got my ferret from here and this place show so much concern and tips for the pets. They are family owned and very family-orientated. They are so great and very knowledgeable bout pets and their products. Im definitely going back to them for any of my pet needs.

I went to Pet Safari to buy two rats as pets. The lady working there was extremely helpful over the phone and in person, had no trouble handling the animals and knew what she was talking about. I ended up buying a Rat Home, water bottle, bedding, food, and treats for my rats that I also bought. (Theyre two young dumbo rats). The rats are very sweet and there hasnt been any trouble with them whatsoever. All the things I bought are also doing great. The store was quite nice and the prices were the same if not better than pet chain stores. They had many animals and had just what I wanted. What I really love about Pet Safari is that they really do know what theyre talking about and are very helpful as they have the animals best interests at heart. Definitely will come again.

I go here for live baby mice for my kids snake. It is a nice place seems family run. I have never had a bad experience here and would recommend it to anyone.

We went in to get some plants for a fish tank all the animals looks in well-conditioned and well fed. The plants looked in good shape, the only thing wrong about it was the pets cages were on the floor making the Ill look a bit Junkie.

Awesome dog groomers! The staff is always very friendly and professional. I could spend a lot of time looking at all the different pet products. Weve been taking our schnauzer too Michelle for grooming for at least eight years now and she does a fantastic job every time. Best pet store ever!

Best pet store in Clearwater/ Largo! Very very clean, organized and excellent service. I asked a ton of questions LoL and owner was very helpful and friendly. The animals looked happy (unlike some pet stores), which is always a good sign of an pet store!I bought cat flea meds (advantage) and fish aquarium living plants (not plastic). Mom & pop shop, I prefer to support local business...and they exceeded my expectations.

Wow, I have a hard time believing those bad reviews. This is the cleanest, friendliest, best prices pet store in Pinellas county. And the groomers are the best!!!

Visited this store just looking for some small freshwater bottom feeder fish. And they had many different kinds. There live fish area is small, and I wouldnt say the tanks are super clean but most fish seem to be healthy. I did see a single ram that looked to have ich and was also a little over priced. I purchased a khuli loach and he is healthy and happy. Also had great prices on frozen fish food. I do recommend this pet store. Huge selection on all kinds of pet food. Customer service is Top Notch as well😊

My friend has been going to this store for years and while he was there, made a comment about why bother to wear a mask if youre going to wear it incorrectly. Because of that statement he was physically pushed out of the store mocked and beaten against his truck and the fence. Im disgusted that this happened here, and to add insult to injury literally. The owner sent the victim a picture of an incorrect mask policy from the front door. No concern or remorse for the fact a customer was beaten because of the store. Because of this I will never be back in this store again. Anyone who has such disregard for people doesnt deserve my business.

Super helpful employees, we got to hang out with all types of animals and even played with some rats for about 3 hours while the rain pasted. The animals are housed very well and the employees are very knowledgeable. I would recommend going here over and chain pet store any day.

Purchased a very nice hairless guinea pig (a skinny pig) that was clearly socialized and well cared for. I noticed all of the mammals and birds were socialized and in good health.Zoe the shop dog is amazing.Prices on food were good, and someone helped me find a brush for my rare breed of rabbit that wouldnt scratch her skin. Everyone was helpful, the crickets were clean.Check out the Mata Mata turtle while youre there! Its super cool.

Had my dogs nails clipped here. Staff is very nice and helpful. My dog was satisfied. I have come here many times to buy all different kinds of pet supplies and they have always had what I needed in stock.

I went inside of this place thinking that they would have good or relatively the same prices as other companies. They did not. The cashier was very rude to me when I asked what kind of dog grooming services I could receive here. I am discussed with this place. They do not handle their animals with care nor carefulness.

Walked in there today after driving from St. Petersburg as normal, usually love looking at their fish or birds and my wife and I normally leave there spending over $100 everytime on shrimp or other fish.. However I asked the older lady to use the bathroom and she told me.RUDELY..Its not available to the public... GO TO PUBLIX AND USE THIERS....I felt EXTREMELY DISCRIMINATED Against. I acknowledged her with a thank you even though her tone and attitude was RUDE... told my wife lets go and when we left decided we will NEVER patronize this business again.... If you talk to your HUMAN customers like this... how do you treat your animals(This is for the older cold hearted woman)

I WILL never go again Bad service by the owner.I came in for the Albino Pleco did not get the pleco because the owner said it was to much money.The owner walked away on his phone than started talking to another customer .I understand how it can get busy quick .Acknowledge thecustomers thats their to spend money l was willing to pay $30 for the Albino Pleco.I spend alot of money in that store but not any more will find another store .

I used to shop at chain stores until I discovered Pet Safari. Great selection and good prices with friendly, knowledgeable service. 10X better than any of the other stores Ive visited in the Clearwater area. If they didnt have what I needed, they were always willing to help me find an alternative or get it for me. This is the store that I recommend to my friends.

Very helpful, I was looking for bottom covers for my female dog, the young lady helped me find the right size for my girl. Prices are comparable to walmarts. Very reasonable.

Outstanding fish and pet experts the guy did everything in his humanely power to make me not buy fish just to ensure that my tank was ready for them. that tells me he cares more about the longevity of his customers and the Animals he sells then about making a profit and that in todays business means so much.

Went there two nights ago and the experience was good. Tonight the air pump on one of my aquariums died so I needed a replacement. Checked online to make sure the store would be open and it said they were open til 8pm. I got there at 7:40 and the lights were on but the door was locked. Two employees (1 male and 1 female) were standing in front of the exit door talking. I tried to get the male employees attention (the female was facing away from me) and he completely ignored me. He acted like I wasnt there. So I left and had to go to Walmart. Ugh. I would rather take my business to locally owned stores because I believe in and want to support local businesses. I felt very unappreciated. Not sure if I will be returning. 2 stars because my first visit was pleasant.

Its family-owned and the family has a boxer dog like I do so its easy to get good information about how to treat my boxer what food and what products to buy specifically designed for her

Am I the only person who thinks this place is dirty. When we were there the animals were not clean. Which saddens me as a pet lover. The big parrot cichlid in the back by grooming is awesome but needs a bigger tank. Grooming was closed so we took a picture of the board to know prices and services offered and the girl At the register got pissed.

Grooming department always baths my Boxer and she always come out happy and always smells fantastic.
