I stopped by in this store last Sunday an hour before closing just to get ideas what it feels right for a lower price bicycles. Maria was very helpful and patient with me . Called Outspokin Bicycles to see if they had time to fix my very noisy rim brakes on my new Bianchi road bike. Purchased Campagnolo Bora One 50 carbon wheels, which can be very particular on the brake pad toe-in. They asked me to leave the bike to troubleshoot. They called me soon after (less than 1 hr) with the fix. I was very excited. Road the bike that evening and the brakes worked perfect with amazing stopping power. The shop was filled with courteous employees and excellent wrenches. Thanks again to everyone at the shop. Cant go wrong with this level of service and professionalism.

I purchased a Specialized Turbo Vado 4.0 LTD in the beginning of October and have been extremely pleased with the bike. I am now riding farther and faster than I ever have before. Jayson was the sales associate that assisted me in selecting a bike that met my needs and wants based on my riding preferences and body fit, and was very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. I had a small issue with the bike and Greg (service manager) helped me to resolve the issue in a professional and expedited manner. Overall, I am very pleased with these individuals and the store as a whole. I will definitely use Outspokin for all my service needs in the future as I have great trust in their customer service. Outspokin Bicycles saved me. I just had had my bike serviced 6 weeks ago by another bike shop but I was suddenly getting a strange knocking noise and I was on a serious timeline as I was leaving the next day to travel for a triathlon. Greg was able to squeeze me in and correct two massive issues with the chain and shifting cables - both of which could have potentially ended my race early. Outspokin Bicycles on Gulf-to-Bay rocks! I bought a Specialized Sirrus X 4.0 and its a fantastic bike. The steering with the carbon forks is extremely light and agile, and the bike is built rock-solid. I received a complimentary tune up and warrantied labor to replace the slotted crank. Just returned from a 4 day bike ride from Dunedin to Inverness and back. Fantastic ride that might not have been possible without the help of Greg and Outspokin Bike Shop. I have a carbon Specialized Ruby bike and was having a hard time figuring out how to attach a bike rack that could hold a pannier. Greg came up with a work about that held my pannier in place and didnt compromise my carbon frame! If that wasnt enough, the day I was supposed to leave my Ultegra front shifter just gave out and refused to work. Had to abort the trip, and hoped to start the next day if I could get everything working again! Greg made time to work on my shifter as soon as I came into the shop (we ended up replacing it!). Next day we took off and had 4 wonderful days of riding. Thank you so much Greg and Outspokin Bicycles! Fantastic shop, honest, caring and one fantastic bike mechanic!!

My husband and I had only had Walmart bikes before deciding we wanted a better quality and went into OutSpokin. Every single employee there treats you like family. I think it is a requirement to live and breathe cycling to work there. They each are so knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. I am new to cycling and not once did I feel I was being annoying with my questions. You will not experience pressure sales here. They are just happy to talk about great locations to ride bikes or answer any questions you may have. I have 100% trust in the bike my husband and I selected after talking with Bruce.The best experience is here. We will not buy from anywhere else after this.

What a FANTASTIC bike shop! First of all EVERYONE that works there is so pleasant. I wanted to come back with a case of beer and just hang out with these folks. Ive been a bike enthusiast for many many years and involved in many long-distance bike rides such as STP, (Seattle to Portland), TRAM (The Ride Across Minnesota) and many others. Ive changed countless flat tires however I now have an e-bike and it just appeared too complicated for me. Outspokin replaced my tube quickly and for a very reasonable fee! Unfortunately for me, the two lovely ladies that are in my age group are either married, or moved to Seattle.... happy for them. Dont forget when the redhead moves back from Seattle to give me a call..... LOL! Seriously, the best bike shop EVER, large inventory, great service! No need to go anywhere else! This was the best experience!! I let the shop know what I wanted and they got it ordered, put it together, and when I came in to get it, Greg, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. For a bike novice ( I havent ridden in more years than I care to share), my experience couldnt have been better. Decided on Easter to treat myself to a specialized roll sport and I am so glad I did, the staff was very respectful and actually had to build my bike out of the box, they got right to it. Great service, and that roll sport made my last bike feel like a huffy (not that theres anything wrong with huffy 😎). I highly recommend this business and that bike.

The front sales people are very good, but the service department drops them to only 2 stars.Rode my bike there earlier this week in order to make an appointment for a brake pad replacement at a time when they could do the work in an hour while I waited. Was given a work order for today. I called to confirm and was told to come right in.When I arrived at 10:30am I was told 3 to 4 hour wait. The service guy didnt care that I had wasted my time making the appointment. Didnt care that I wasted my time bringing the bike in after calling earlier.I asked to reschedule, and was told that there was no day that the service guy could accommodate my business without leaving the bike for a day.They let a $100 service order walk out the door along with all my future business.Dont waste you time with this shop for repairs. I Googled the repair and discovered that it is simple enough for me to do myself.

If you are a poor person who doesnt have a car and you may walk or ride the bus or ride a bike, you might use a backpack. if you walk into this bike shop with a backpack on then you might be treated like a thief like i was. and if you are then please dont support that bussiness. i dont see all of these stores asking for women to check their bags in anywhere. life isnt fair we all know that. but humans are really hurting others humans alot please try and be conscience about life and treat everyone the way that you want to be treated all the time and stop the fear and hate. thanks!

I bought a frame off of ebay and planned to build the bike up from scratch but I needed a special bottom bracket and crank installed because the frame was from 2008. Greg, the mechanic, was very busy but he took the time to find the exact bottom bracket I needed on line and ordered it for me. When it came in he had it installed along with my new crank. The next day I had the bike finished and on the road without any problems at all. Greg also gave me advice on what other parts I needed to buy to finish the bike. What a great experience!I went to Outspoken Bikes again today and Greg answered a question I have on my latest bike build and he ordered the part for me and so I can finish the bike this weekend. Thanks Again!!!

The people at Outspokin Bicycles are very friendly and helpful. The three star review is because of the last two times I’ve purchased items at Outspoken: The items ended up costing substantially more, one item was $40 more, than the ticketed price. Both times this happened I asked about the price discrepancy, and the rep said the prices were not marked correctly. Seems kind of shady, like the old bait and switch trick. I don’t know if this is just a fluke, if they aren’t attentive and staying up on marking prices, or if it’s intentional, but it’s happened twice now so I’m not sure what to think. I advise anyone who shops there to ask about the ticketed price BEFORE making a purchase. Otherwise, the employees are always helpful at Outspokin Bicycles.

Can not speak higher about the Staff of Outspokin Bicycles..Val and Kyle were a great help with my selection of my Bike.They are mostly a Giant retailer. Giant puts out high quality Bikes..The Staff patiently allowed me to test ride a few bikes and even brought in a bike from their other store knowing I was not going to buy that exact Bike just so I could test ride it. They def Earned my Business and I ended up purchasing the Giant Toughroad SLR2. I have added some things to it since I bought it.Outspokin also has a points program which add up and you can put the points towards purchases in the future!

I took my bike in to have the brakes inspected. I needed new ones. They told me it would be 3-4 days. Shannon called and left a message for me saying it would be ready, but also that she inspected my wheels and they were dry rotted and she didn’t want them to burst on me.I went and picked it up and she put it in my car, which was very hard to do. I disconnected the brakes from the front to do so.I got home and was trying to put the brakes together. Ha! Couldn’t figure it out! I called Shannon, she FaceTimed with me and her and another guy was able to help me.I love the friendly service, and the knowledge and honesty they have! Thank you Shannon!!

I have tried to like this store as I own both a tarmac and a roubaix. I went again on Saturday. Service sucks. The person helping me was both arrogant and knew less than I did. Not recommended.

Given the shortage of bicycles at the price I was looking at Outspokin Bicycles had the model and size I wanted. I called before coming in (an hour long trip), and was treated to the best sales experience I have ever had. Shannon took me through the high points of the bike I wanted, suggested a test ride, adjusted the seat, and was perfectly professional. I highly recommend this store.

I went to 10 bicycle shops in 1 day and Megan at Outspokin was the most helpful person in the whole county! My boyfriend and I are so happy with our new bikes!

I took a fat tire bike in and asked for a tune up, to have the handle bars fixed or replaced (they were loose), and to have a new shifter put on. I was charged $125.00 up front and told it would be ready in less than a week. Two weeks later I called and was told they were waiting on parts. A week later I was told it was ready and charged another $5. I rolled the bike out the door and the handle bars fell forward. They then claimed that they weren’t asked to look at the handle bars and that “maybe” they are stripped. It was on the receipt...They tightened them and they were fine. They had simply not touched the bike except for the shifter. On closer inspection, the grease or oil and dirt on the sprocket was as old as the bike. Other than the shifter, they did nothing. When I asked the owner why, he just shrugged his shoulders. Save your money. There are a ton of customer service friendly shops around that will do a great job and not try to sell you a new $5k bike.

We had a very strange problem with our Rad ebike and received incredible service from Greg at Outspokin Bicycles and Trish, Paden and Jennifer at RAD Power Bikes. Greg is the RAD trained mechanic at Outspokin and went through a long process with lots of consultation between Outspokin and RAD to get us back on the road again. We are very happy that there is a RAD trained mechanic in Clearwater and that he is Greg.

Always friendly here. Does not mater if you have a $300 bike or $3000 you will be treated the same u like other places i have been. Also their mechanics are true pros and will not sell you things you dont need and will be honest with you. This is the only place I will go.

Stopped into Outspokin after some neer do well stole my old Diamondback Overdrive. The staff are very knowledgable, friendly and were willing to take the time to show me a couple pf options. I was very pleased with the overall experience and am very happy with my new Giant Talon 2 MTB. Thank you Outspokin for a great experience. Ill be back in soon for an initial breakin period tuneup.

I have been dealing with Outspokin for awhile and they are THE PLACE to go to for anything to do with a bicycle. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly people working there make you feel like you are part of a family.

I have about a 15 year old Specialized that was in DESPERATE need of some TLC. After reading some great reviews I brought it here. I will never take my bike, or any bike anywhere else! Not only did they bring my bicycle back to “like new” conditions, I actually think it shifts BETTER than new now! I swear they replaced all of the shifting components by the way they operate AND look, but they swear they just took everything apart, did a thorough cleaning, and put it back together. It’s like I have a brand new bike now. Oh, and they did a great job on replacing my brake pads as well, lol. Highly recommend.

Jammed my chain on a Sunday afternoon. Shannon not only freed the chain, but showed me how to free it myself the next time it happens. She also replaced a missing bolt for me, all in a few minutes. It was clear that the entire staff there wanted to help; they even handed me an extra bolt so I’ll have a spare. It’s great to find concern, competence, and fast and friendly service.

Incredible service. Hunter dropped what he was doing to fix a case of user error, and got my bike perfect SAME DAY. Also, their service prices are quite reasonable and really wont let your bike leave till its just right.

I’ve been to the Clearwater store three (3) times now over the course of 1 1/2 months 1. purchasing my bike, 2. purchasing my bike rack, 3. bike tune-up. Everyone that I’ve worked with at the Clearwater store has been nothing but exceptional!! From giving me much needed née pointers for a newer cyclist to helping me with my new rack and accessories for my car. I would recommend everyone who wants a quality bike to shop here. This place is fantastic! The staff are helpful and friendly I rode my bike to The Publix in the same plaza and when I went to. Leave I noticed my front tire was totally flat! I walked it over to the shop and it was fixed in minutes! I was also inquiring about classes and Im excited to see they have free classes on different bike maintenance and repair. This place is great! Ill be going back again and again for all my Bicycle needs!

Good selection of Specialized and Giant (Liv) bikes. Prices competitive, staff seemed knowledgeable and courteous. I bought two bikes (one for me and one for my daughter) and was told I’d get a complementary tuneup. The front brake was rubbing bit on my daughter’s bike so I brought them in. When I got there, I was told I’d have to leave my bikes with them for 3 weeks! When I asked if I could make an appointment, and come back they said no, I needed to leave them there. Who wants to leave a brand new bike at the shop for 3 whole weeks! Absolutely ridiculous.

I was lucky to meet the Outspokin crew at an open water swim while I was in town. They were incredibly hospitable and helpful. I brought my bike and ended up needing a tire and some bolts and other stuff. They went out of their way to help me. Thank you, Val, Bruce, Trixie, and the handsome mechanic....didnt catch his name!

Have gone on Saturday morning group rides for the past 3 weeks with Jayson and crew - great exercise and an opportunity to meet other health conscious people.

People are nice. Though, I have seen a lot of reviews that have the same issue I have. That is the wait time. I needed a rear derailleur adjustment, but before even looking at the bike, they requested I leave my bike with them for the day because of the backup of repairs.

They arent here to help bicyclists at all, picked up a cheap used bike and found myself really enjoying it but the seat was uncomfortable. when the owner first met me he was pushing a new bike and once he saw i wasnt budging, he became unwilling to help with the new seat, unwilling to lets me sit on any to try them out, and unwilling to look at my set up for transporting my bike. after the seat adjustment and more falling in love with the sport, i found a new shop and bought a new bike with people who actual love the hobby, not just trying to make as much as they can off their customers. do not shop here.

This is the best bike shop Ive been too, I got an amazing deal. My original price was around $50 to fix my brakes and tire and a employee named Greg gave me a deal for just $20 to fix all of it, he even did extra with no charge. I will go back there again if I ever need my bike fixed.

A couple of the front line staff, a few customers, and ALL of the workshop staff were not wearing masks.I asked an associate why arent they wearing masks and he said You dont need to wear masks here.VERY DISAPPOINTING. I took my business to another bike shop where they wear masks.

I came in to fix my bike after I crashed it and Mr. will donohue fixed my bike in to new condition. I also bought shoes and Trixy was super helpful. I highly recommend outspoken they are super professional and friendly to their customers.

I cant recommend the team at Outspokin enough. I live in Asia - and the bike I want is not available here. I was coming through the Clearwater area and reached out to see if they could help me order one. They didnt have the bike in stock - but were able to order it to arrive the same time I did. They also were able to schedule a bike fitting while I was there, arrange for me to get a used hard case to transport it back home, and helped me pack it up. To top it off, I had a family issue while i was there (dont want to go into details), and they helped me with advice on how I could address it. Way above and beyond what would be expected. Helpful staff, I left the shop with my bike ready to roll 😎Stopped by Outspokin bikes yesterday to switch out the pedals on my old bike. I asked them to put air in my tires and one of them blew, wound up replacing the tire, handle bar grips as well. The guy, didnt catch his name, was very helpful and understood that I was looking for budget options. They ended up dropping the labor fee on the pedals which was a nice bonus.

I dropped my bike off there to get packed and shipped. They did a excellent job with the packing and we’re very helpful answering any questions that I had. While I was there I also looked at a few bikes in the show room Kyle was very helpful and very knowledgeable.

Recently got a a bike that needed air and went to Outspokin. Bruce was very nice and had great customer service ! Definitely will be going here for all my bike needs and accessories.

Ive been looking for a set of descent bikes for my self and my wife. Theres quite a few bike shops here in the immediate Tampa Bay area. There is only one OUTSPOKEN bike shop. They are super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Their is not that pressure about having someone pushing a product to you. Im beyond happy with my investment on the different products that I was guided on. All I have to say is that it was worth me driving 50 miles one way to find this location !!!!

Spent over $1000.00 on two bikes (one for me, one for my daughter). I was happy with my bike but my daughter did not feel comfortable on hers as she felt it was too big for her. I was never told that there was a SEVEN DAY return policy for bikes, so they would not accepty the return. In fact, the employee who I tried to return bike to did not even know of this policy.NO ONE TOLD ME of return policy when I bought the bikes, and when I asked about that today, the employee said the return policy was on the receipt.This is a HUGE disappointment that they would not accept the return of bike, even though it was in absolutely perfect condition. I will NEVER be going back there, and will make sure my riding friends will not either.

This shop will always have my business. They truly care about what they do, and its the little things that really show what a polished and outstanding business ethic they practice. Every time I come to the shop, they do what I need in a reasonable amount of time, always doing a quality job for a good price and going the extra mile to make sure that what you get is nothing but outstanding. Dont waste your money at other shops who are only concerned about profit. These guys are the best.

Great bike shop! They have high end gear and bikes, though very friendly and helpful for the new riders like myself. Even called to ask questions about biking and they took time to answer them all without complaint. I worked with Leo and Lisa who also do group swims, runs, and bikes and I think Matt spent time answering questions about the tires and sizes. Their brands are limited bit great warranties and truly solid customer support.Beat amazon prices for water bottles and holders to boot.

They fixed up my old bike beautifully. He adjusted my seat, so to speak, and showed me an easy way to get on the bike. AND fixed my grandsons baby stroller, something the mechanic had never even tried before, no charge. THEN helped me put the bike rack on my car. Ill be back.

I brought my 6 year old bike in about a year ago. It had been outside for a couple of years while I was in grad school and needed a lot of work. I told them how much I was willing to spend and they did just enough work to get the bike back in service without any surprise costs. I have been riding once or twice a week since then and it is still holding up. Thanks for the honest and effective repair service!

We found that an more at Outspokin Tampa. The staff was patient and courteous. They answered all kinds of questions, chatted with us, and generally made us feel welcome. It is rare to get that kind of exceptional treatment in a bike shop. I highly recommend Outspokin to anyone looking for a great bike shop!
