Mr. Lorenzo was absolutely unprofessional. He wasted my time hanging up on me as I was inquiring about my car. Lied about doing so, and was very rude! Would not reccomend, I would have paid them for my vehichle to be repaired but after my experience with Mr. Lorenzo, Ill be taking my money elsewhere.

My truck started lighting up on the road with my two sons in the car and the first place to pull over was De Lorenzo Tire & Auto. We were in a very vulnerable situation as the truck was not drivable and we were nowhere near home.Thankfully, De Lorenzo was so professional and they made time to help us right away even though it was clear that they were busy. We are so grateful for their help and integrity. We just picked up the truck and, honestly, its running better than it ever has! Thank you so much for making the time for us, for being trustworthy, and for doing such great work! Had my brakes done and was done fast and explained well for the particular problem with one of my breaks etc. etc...... I came back the next day because Costco couldn’t put the tires on that I had ordered and Del Lorenso tire and auto said he will do it for free you have been a great customer!!! The funny part is that was my second time there. that’s how much these guys care about your business!!!

I was put in touch with De Lorenzo Tire by the former CFO of the company that I work for. I have taken my vehicle in for any issue that it has had. I have always been treated fairly and respectfully, by EVERYONE at this shop. I live in Lutz and will do my best to only have my car serviced by De Lorenzo. My daughter lives not far from me, and she also makes the drive over the bridge to get her vehicle serviced by De Lorenzo, as I know that they will not take advantage of a 20 year old young lady that is naive about parts, pricing, etc. Pat Jr., Sr., Joe, Kenny, and Wes always go above and beyond to make sure that the repairs are done properly, and at a more than fair price! When I picked up my vehicle both times is was filthy,the second time I was livid because a tary,greasy substance was all over the hood,roof and down the side of my vehicle.I just spent $215 getting it detailed.I called Delorenzos when I got home and they said they look into it and call me back,they never did.They should wash the vehicle before its returned.Give it back like you get it.Nice enough people but drop the ball on customer service.

De Lorenzo Tire & Auto provides honest and reliable service for a basic service to extensive repair. Joe explained well the issue with my car with pictures of the issue and gave me options for fixing the same day I brought it in. Second time here and very pleased with the pricing and service both times. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Pinellas area!

This company is great. We have a mobile grooming salon that we bring to them for service work. We came to work and found it had a flat tire, I called to see if they could get it fixed asap. This happened at 7am and I got it to them and we were on the road by 9am. Thank you Delorenzo you are our go to auto service company.

What a great shop. Dont let the outside appearance fool you, they provide top notch work and quality service. Their staff is very polite and knowledgeable. I have a moderate level of repair experience (ASE certified) but no longer have a place to fix my car, I have never got the impression from them that they are trying to rip me off or up sell some useless service.I take my cars here without a single doubt that they will fix it right the first time and provide exceptional work.

Top notch group of folks. I just moved here from out of town and this group was referred to me by a friend as they felt they were honest and did quality work. I must say this is true. I have been there 2 times in the last 2 months they have done great work and I feel they are very honest in their practices and had great customer service. Second-generation customer. Brought my first car there when I was 16 to have it inspected before I purchased it, and have been going to them for everything since. My dad has gone to De Lorenzo for decades and I will too. Family-run operation, and they do honest and excellent work.

This afternoon I accidentally ran over a glass bottle in a parking lot leaving work. I didnt think there was any damage until I arrived home and as I was entering my garage my low tire warning came on. I exited my car and could hear the air escaping from the drivers side rear tire. I immediately took to google to find my closest tire shop, which happened to be De Lorenzo. I called at 4:30 and explained my situation to Garrett who said if I drove over right away they would be able to look at it since they close at 5:30. On that note I got into my car and drove right on over. Fortunately they were able to patch my tire right up and have me in and out in 30 minutes. Garrett was very friendly and courteous, as well as incredibly helpful while I was panicking. Hopefully I never have another tire issue again, but if I do, I will definitely return!

I was referred to DeLorenzo Tire by a friend when I needed tires and an oil change. I called ahead, and the person answering the phone was able to quickly give me a tire quote with few options, and set up a time for me to come in. The shop was tidy, had a wide range of magazines and a TV while I waited. The front end staff (Pat & Mike) introduced themselves and assured me it wouldnt be long.Shortly after getting there, Mike asked to speak with me. He informed me that they had found edge ware (sp?) on my tires. He actually walked me out to the shop and showed me my old tires still on my car, worn down to wire on the edge of the tire. He explained that this was consistent with a car that is out of alignment, and that my new tires would see the same fate if my car was not aligned. I told him I had to come back for that as I had an appointment that afternoon, but he told me that, because I was waiting, he could get my car in and out in good time. DeLorenzos delivered, and I was back on the road fast.The gave me free lifetime rotation, nitrogen and flat repair if I hit a nail or something. I will definitely be coming back to the shop after seeing how they treat their customers, very unusual for the auto industry. Thanks!

Treated like a valued customer, great rates on name-brand tires and really good service. Pat & Pat Sr. make a great team; I plan to bring back my Golf TDI every time I need service or work. Many of the mechs have been there a long time with years of repeat customers. Every one that I spoke to in the lobby had been repeat customers many times over.

Just bought new tires and wheels that I supplied and needed them mounted and balanced. The mechanics had trouble getting the tires on and were rude. I received the wheels back with deep scratches and was charged a ridiculous rate. The owner spoke little English so communicating about the situation was very difficult and offered no help. Very shady business, wont ever be going back.

Went to DeLorenzo Tire and Auto Service after blowing a tire out on the highway at 6am. I had just come off a red eye flight from LA. My tires were ordered but would not be in til the afternoon. I was offered a dark room to nap in as I was so exhausted from my flight and one of the techs used part of his lunch break to take me to get some lunch since i hadnt eaten since the previous day. Talk about GOING THE EXTRA MILE for a customer! I felt so well here...I live in Sarasota and want to make DeLorenzo Tire and Auto my regular repair shop!! I think they would definitely be worth the trip...!!

I went there for new tires and an alignment, I took pictures in the parking lot of my rims before they took my truck in, which showed NO scratches. After the new tires are on I have the same deep scratch on each rim. And they refuse to admit it was them. Even though i am sure they fixed the machine that messed up my rims, they had to because there is no way it wasnt them.The manager is a money hungry greedy pos, he will run this shop out of business.

As to the type of work done, they did exactly what they said theyd do. I have a truck that needed camber bolts installed 2 on each per lower control arms and an alignment. The problem I have was, I supplied my own camber bolts and alignments have no extra parts needed to perform, no fluids were topped off, no wheel weights changed....NOTHING extra was needed or provided by DeLorenzo. I look at the bill and was okay with price till I saw this 14.00 Shop Supplies/Parts. So I asked and stated that there was nothing that was provided extra by the shop. Again I supplied the camber bolts and no extra parts are needed for alignment that DeLorenzo would have supplied. So I was told this was for shop things such as cleaning towels and uniforms. There was nothing to wipe up and the truck just got washed, undercarriage included. I get told everyone charges this charge. If you had oil changed or tires changed they will charge for disposal and hazardous waste but nothing I was getting done would fit that. So for this reason, I am rating them this way. It was silly to let someone walk away upset over 14.00 for something that wasnt needed during this repair. It really costed them a good review I was going to write and now thousands will read it. I hope the 14.00 was worth it.

I own a few vans both commercially and personally and have been using this shop for my vehicle matainance and repairs for almost 10 years now. I have probably spent over 50 thousand dollars on this shop which includes 2 full complete engine installations on 2 of my SuperShuttle Franchise Vans. Their head mechanic who is ASE Certified is one of the most knowledgeable persons about vehicle repair I have come across. The owners of the shop are some of the most professional people I have done business with as well with attention to detail especially in customer service. I could write a multi page review on how good this shop is so I will stick to the basics. A+ customer service, A+ workmanship meaning when the fix something, its fixed the right way and wont have to come back multible times to re correct workmanship mistakes. A+ on resonable pricing ss well. Will highly recommend this shop to anyone and have done so in a number of occasions. Put it simply, if the State Highway Patrol uses this shop to have their police cruisers worked on, that should say something about the integrity of this shop.

If I could actively give this shop a zero I would.I got a flat tire on my way back from a Tampa Lightning Hockey Game. I work right by DeLorenzo, and needed a quick fix. I called them, and so they put everything into motion.I dropped my car off at lunch and picked up after, very easy. He tells me that my Rim is bent and that they could not balance the tire properly. He said this would cause pulling and shaking in my wheel, which it did. This was about a month or two ago. The day after I left, I noticed that my windshield fluid no longer worked, and my A/C blew hot… very strange.So, this weekend I drove to Baton Rouge and my tire started leaking air with no puncture wounds. After I got to Baton Rouge (on the donut) I took it to a sams club as I knew if there was an issue, I could still get service here in St. Petersburg.Guys fixes the tire and says there’s no bend in my rim, and that he’s not sure why the tire went… I start driving and the difference is incredible. No pull, no shake, no issues.I call DeLorenzo for some resolution, and he calls me back somewhat calm and asks me to bring my car in. I stated they would NEVER touch my car again. I asked for my money back and he starts yelling at me, and I said you know I understand, I figured you wouldn’t but I’m posting your rating. He said, “I PAY $400 DOLLARS A MONTH FOR PEOPLE TO GET PAST SCAMEMRS LIKE YOU!!” I couldn’t do anything but laugh because I think we can see who the real scammer is.. He then finished with “THEY HAVE THERAPY FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU!” I said have a nice day and hung up.I am 22 years old, and my father worked religiously on cars. I am not a scammer, I wanted good service. I normally go to my car dealership but I also feel that they are too pricey. Well, good thing he showed his ass, as I’ll be going back to the “Tuna-can shelving, uncertified mechanics” from Sams Club as they did a fantastic job and shined a little light on this degenerate and his auto shop.-To the man about to comment on my rating and try to defend the auto shop, all you are is a defense mechanism for his awful auto work to try to sucker people into coming to a place that keeps you coming back for the issues THEY created. You should invest in a REAL company, as $400 a month to try to stop people like me from expressing the truth, is underpaid and overworked. Have a nice day.
