I thought I don’t want to come back to this store after I spent few thousands in early 2021 with another rep. The store has trained some new staff and Roman was great and helpful. He shows care and with good communication. I spent about $7k this time and will be back for more!
There are no words to describe the assistance that Roman provided us with our large order, the Tampa store would not delivery to us but he made it happen for us by going to pick up the remaining pieces of our order to be combined with his location & have them delivered ON TIME!! My husband and I are relocating to Largo and Roman and as great with helping us find a great living set and making sure that we will receive the set on time. I will definitely be back. My dishwasher stopped working and I really didnt want to spend anything on a new one but with a family of 6, handwashing dishes got old really fast. We stopped in here and they had a lot of them but most were kinda banged up. The refrigerator selection wasnt great. Prices were fine though. We ended up with a dishwasher for just over five hundred.

The best experience ever!! We received basically brand new appliances for amazing prices. They all function impeccably and are high tech. Some of the items were just floor models so they’ve not activated been used. I love my dish washer, refrigerator, and washer and dryer. Very smart purchase and customer services was amazing!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Roman went above and beyond to help fix quite a few communication issues we had when originally ordering our furniture. All in all we are even more satisfied with the selections we got and the Clearwater store is HUGE and full of options. Definitely will buy from them again!
Stay AWAY from online ordering with this company!! I had gone to the St. Pete store and saw a dining room set that I wanted but did not purchase it at the time. A few days later I decided to order the set online since I had seen it already. Well unbeknownst to me the set was to assembled by ME (does not state that online). I had the set delivered to me that came in a box!! The delivery guys were okay. My gripe is with the employees of American Freight because I spoke to someone on the phone the day I ordered it and was not informed that it had to be assembled and that it was coming in box that I could’ve picked up myself. I called the store after I received the delivery and the employee could care less about my concerns about the lack of communication! Then fast forward to me assembling the set…it was missing pieces….screws…and washers!!!! Terrible service…and bottom of the barrel furniture!! You get what you pay for!! Last time purchasing from American Freight.

I looked up reviews on a number of washers. I was looking for an easy, inexpensive washing machine for my parents. Nick, who works at Sears, showed me the models I brought up on my phone. Their prices beat other providers in the area and online. He helped us load it in the truck. Great machine at an awesome price!
Great service inside the store. Delivery left a lot to be desired. I was told the delivery charge would be 105.00 and I gave them 120.00 and didn’t get my change back. Will be calling the store.
We ordered the GE electric wall oven JTS5000enes from this store to be shipped to our home here in Texas. I verified before purchasing it that the oven would be shipped on a crate and protected. Just took a little over a week to receive the oven. When it arrived, it was not on a crate due to the shipper, not American Freights fault. American Freight has strict guidelines they have to follow when shipping, large merchandise has to be put on a crate. When the oven was delivered I told the delivery guys this was supposed to come on a crate to which they replied that they took it off the crate. At first it looked okay till we started unwrapping it. The oven door was bent on one side, there was a dent in the left side, the back right corner was crumpled and protruding and in another place the hardware was coming out. All that and we never finished unwrapping the whole thing. I called the Clearwater store and spoke to Nick Payne who was the assistant manager but has now moved up to the manager position. He has been so helpful in getting this situation resolved. I texted him photos of the damage and he immediately went to work filing a claim. He stated he would help me any way he could to make sure this went through. Nick was true to his word, the situation has been resolved to my satisfaction. Thank you Nick you made this transaction a positive experience. Congratulations on your promotion, you are the type of employee a company values.
They have a fairly good sized store and decent selection. I am not sure the amount of discount is equivalent to the amount of damage on some of the units. The sales staff seems a bit surly at times which can be a bit if a turn off. Additionally most of the small goods items they have around the store (tools, headphones, housewares, etc) didnt seem to have much of a discount at all.
Nick Payne was the one who assisted me with my purchase of a mattress, and I must say one of the most patient employees I have had the pleasure of assisting me. Will be back for another purchase soon!
The dryer didnt work. My electrician and I tried to tell them it was in the cord but he would not listen. So I returned it. The people that work there werent even nice to the customers. Not when I bought it and not when I returned it. If you want company that stands by their products, their not it. Wish Id never went there. I also gave them 2 dryers that they kept to resell. Owner himself wouldnt even look at me when I talked to him, maybe because Im a woman! Oh and I was out $50 to pay my electrician. When they had to deliver it I waited 2 days, when I returned it it wS the next day

Do not trust their appliances. I bought a washer in Sept. for $700, their site and the ticket on the appliance said it was not used, simply had a cosmetic defect mark on the outside. Upon loading the washer, water fell out the back hoses, gentlemen that worked there told me its because they test them, but the slots were also covered in dust and lint like it had been used. But foolishly I trusted him. The washer never worked properly from day one but at first it was just the cycle signals, then eventually the whole system stopped working. I have had Kenmore out now 6 times and they have replaced both control boards and it still doesnt work. I cant get a refund or replacement for a washer that was only supposed to be cosmetically defective. What they sold me was not true and because their return policy I cant return it. Kenmore missed their last repair appointment. I have two little girls who need clothes for school. I paid $700 dollars for a washer in late September and have gone 9 weeks now without a working washer and have to pay weekly to have my clothes washed at a mat because they cant seem to fix it. Should be a crime.UPDATEIts January 2021, still don’t have a working washer. Called an independent appliance mechanic out, told me he checked the code on my washer and can see where days before I bought the washer it was inspected by someone local and marked to be sold “as is”. As in, it was a used washer, not new like their site or multiple employees told me it was. I was lied to and had money stolen from me by this place. Absolutely insane. If I had the means and the capital, I would take them to court. BEWARE.
I came in looking for a washing machine . I didn’t find what I was looking for, however Laurie the sales representative was very formative and knowledgeable about the equipment within stock . Even when questions wasn’t answer she was quick to find the warehouse manager jared to answer further questions . I appreciate the patience that they had with me . I’ll defiantly come back !!

We just purchased a washing machine here and the salesman Rich was awesome! Very knowledgeable and very helpful and courteous! Didn’t try to pressure us into buying something we didn’t need. They do give you deep discounts on the List price however, that price is higher than the actual price at a big box store. So really, while you are saving money buying from thos warehouse, its isnt as mich as they lead you to believe
I dont even know what to say about this place they offered me a warranty with a refrigerator but when I asked questions about it I felt like I was being blown off about some organization/company that was doing the warranties was so huge and so well known no one could actually tell me the name that I could look up and verify who they actually were we left emptied-handed and went somewhere else I would be very cautious of this place especially if you wanted a warranty for something
Dont bother going in. We purchased a washer dryer unit, it was delivered but didnt work due to our appartment electrical issue, and then the hose was stuck in the drain from their installation, so they cut the cord short. They offered a replacement unit, but that one was also broken (dryer bearings were off). They told us to call the manufacturers warranty to fix it.We asked for our money back and were told a regional manager would process it when in the store and call us. That never happened. We are now 2 weeks past the time of our purchase, and still no funds returned. We have since purchased a new washer dryer, but due to some new system limitation they cannot process our refund.Do not do business with this store.
This review is on the GM, Shawn and his district manager. I purchased a washer online and somehow the financing went through but was stuck in “limbo” not going to the store. This honestly was a huge nightmare as we were dealing with American First Finance (a truly horrible company as they will constantly hang up on you). Shawn and his district manager had been absolutely amazing trying to go as high as they could for a couple weeks to straighten out my case and refund my money. I will never buy from American Freight online again and will only buy from Shawn if I buy from this company again.
The star is because I like my furniture. The service is horrible. We are doing the interest free for 90 days. The lady who we made the purchase with made somekind of mistakefrom the beginning. 2 days later they call my husband we be need to come back and redo the sell there was a error. We get there the guys there say they will take care of problem sorry they had you come back. So the next day they deliver the furniture the guys that delivered were sloppy and lazy left most stuff in boxes for my daughter and I to set up and put together.Then we knew our payment was do the first month so I try to pay can not get ahold of anyone the dont answer the phones, Good thing they took money out automatically we were told we were responsible to make payments. Finally my husband gets a phone call so he explained how they automatically took payment and that it was more then we were told then the guy informs my the amount that the took was the amount due every 2week😡 no one every said that nor did the paper work emailed to us did not state either..So 2 weeks later when next payment do they keep calling when we answer phone we are disconnected. Finally speak to some one and he is telling us we are late on our payment. So now all of a sudden they dont take out automatically it is our responsibility to pay on line. How where no one ever gave us any info....NIGHTMARE FROM DAY ONE!!

Purchased a washer and dryer . Was told by the sales person that the size gets larger by height not depth or width . Set dis not fit in my built in area, so we had to take off the doors . They came back 4 days later to install, at this point I’m still not upset . Go to use the washer and the water drains as fast as it is filling . I call the repair man and doesn’t know what it could be, says he will call the store and have them set up another appointment. No one ever called me . I figured the issue out, when installing the washer they didn’t attach the hose correctly .
Significantly discounted appliances (and some significantly dented, but you can walk the miles of aisle of refrigerators, washers/dryers, and ranges and find excellent ones). Not to mention gas grills, patio furniture, home furniture, mattresses, and some rugs. Appliance protection programs (3, 4, 5 year) & cover your purchase with an annual visit. If theres 3 breakdowns in a row, you get your money back and in the instance of a refrigerator, $300 to cover spoiled food,. If you like to dig through racks of clothing, you might find that special buy. Especially if youre a man with a 50 waist. Prices are very fair and they offer an appliance/furniture leasing program if you dont have the credit or the cash to purchase outright.
First time stepping in the store. Great experience! Laurie gave great customer service, she ran a few different numbers scenario for out the door pricing. Highly recommend if you are looking for a bargain and dont care about a few dings on the appliance.

Clean and orderly. We have bought many kitchen appliances here throughout the years. Unfortunately they did not have any freezers at this time. Salesperson was helpful even though he didnt have what u wanted.

IF I could rate this 0 stars, I would. This has continued to be an ongoing nightmare. First, the girl who sold me a washer and dryer here, knew NOTHING. she kept trying to point out washers that were already sold and I had to remind her of that.Second, they had my delivery address wrong, so when I checked my receipt days later, I had to call and reschedule my delivery.Third, they sold me a dryer that doesnt fit on top the washer, and the washer is defective. the drum sounds like a rocket ship taking off when spinning. now the worst part, this store DOES NOT ANSWER the phone! I have been trying for 2 weeks to get a hold of them to return the stupid washer and dryer and they just never answer.I after all this trouble, I would have GLADLY just gone to a reputable appliance store and paid full price to have all this done correctly. what a horrible experience.
This is my first review, I went to American Freight expecting to see Sears Outlet, but to my surprise the name had changed. When I went in, the store was clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Laurie helped me find the refrigerator I was looking for but it turned out after I bought it, it was the wrong size and they were more than understanding. When I came back to the store, Laurie had already left for the day. Rich was able to find me another refrigerator that would fit my needs. Will definitely recommend American Freight Clearwater to all my friends and Family. You have a life time shopper :)

I was in the process of buying my house and I wanted to buy appliances for the house but I could not risk using credit. Sean suggested that I should lease. There is no credit check required, so I was able to get my fridge, stove, and dishwasher. Will definitely going back there to see Sean and staff. Everyone there were super friendly and helpful.

We ordered online and had a scratch n dent Whirlpool refrigerator delivered from Clearwater to Spring Hill; we were apprehensive, at first, about purchasing a major appliance without seeing it first. But! We have been more than satisfied with our new(ish) fridge. We saved over $700 by not purchasing brand new and the communication and service from American Freight in Clearwater was superb. They contract out their deliveries and the delivery men who brought our fridge were communicative, courteous, professional, and punctual. Also, if youre looking for a fridge under $2000, we highly recommend a Whirlpool. Our model is WRS588FIHV00. Time will obviously tell if it breaks down prematurely, but after hours of research, we learned that Whirlpool is about the only dependable brand left at this price point. Weve owned an LG and Frigidaire which both cost around $1600 and both needed constant repairs and only lasted about 2 years. Overall, were extremely satisfied with our American Freight experience.
Jarrod saved the sale, and provided excellent customer service during an unusual internet failure due to an external accident, causing the sales representative to be unable to ring sales. Our refrigerator broke down during a busy weekend. We ran to the Sears outlet in hopes of a deal. Boy did we find it!! Half the price of new ones in other big box stores! We were greeted upon entering and shown some examples of what we were looking for. Then we were left to decide. There were lots of different styles and brands to choose from, more again than big box stores. We received a great deal and they could deliver within the week (the hardware store we checked said a month!) Will definitely be back! Thank you!!

When I first walked in all the employees were just sitting and eating, They never bothered to ask if I needed assistance. I called someone for help, I was trying to buy a table when one of the guys came he was like “ Oh actually we can’t sell any of these terms due to company changing the name” but why they didn’t told me when I first came in ? I went there today to purchase a fridge. This Sears outlet by far had the widest selection of fridges than other Sears Outlet in the Bay area. Staff is very friendly, Joe and Amanda were knowledgeable and assisted our family with any questions we had. The only color of Furniture was Dark Brown & Black. Music that was placing was Rap & Loud. Couldnt Think. Sales person told me Ad was Old, when I got Ad in Todays newspaper.
The price was wrong on the item and the woman assisting us told us if that is the price on the item then we should be able to have it for that price. As we were checking out about to pay, our sales associate mentioned this price to the manager & the manager told us the ACTUAL price which was double than advertised on the item. They did not care to check it to make sure it was right until my husband had already hauled the microwave over from where it was (IT WAS an over the range microwave which is a lot bigger and heavier than a normal microwave) because they told us that if we want it we have to carry it ourselves. This whole situation was handled very unprofessionally and there was 0 customer service involved... If this was a business with REAL customer service they would’ve honored the price listed because that’s THEIR mess up not ours. Don’t waste people’s time because of your disorganization. WE WONT BE BACK!!!!!
This was my first time at this location and I must say I was so impressed with the level of service I received. Everyone at the store was friendly and eager to answer all my questions and while I was with my sales person named Nick who was fantastic, the store manager James came over and introduced himself and ask me if Nick was taking good care of me and I found that to be the cherry on top of this great experience . Anyone looking for great prices and the best customer service needs to come to this location .
Theyre got some nice furniture t good prices. Got some Ashley furniture for a great price. The only down side is that you have to order and pay then wait 3 weeks or more for it to be delivered to the store. Then you either have to go to the store and pick it up or pay an additional charge to have it delivered to your house.
Great experience at Sears Outlet. James assisted me in the purchase of a washer & dryer. His knowledge of the product was great, he was courteous & he was professional. Checkout was a breeze after the first station was not processing credit cards. James managed that situation very well.I would recommend this store to my friends.
Went in needing a washing machine and didnt want to spend big bucks. The woman that assisted us was very nice and was able to show us something that was right up our ally. I opted to pick it up, I think $100 for delivery is outrageous, but if you have no choice at least they offer it. A couple of dents that we will never see got me a $1200 machine for $800.
Purchased an upright freezer and a 21 refrigerator freezer. They both were excellent purchases and well worth shopping for. Customer service was standard; although I had to load them in my truck by my self (the warehouse guy said it was against stores policy to help). Would recommend you check them out.
My mother has been waiting on her stove from them for almost 3 months now. It was financed and shows been paying them all this time for something shes yet to receive and they give her the runaround at every phone call her phone calls being avoided and us wondering if shes been ripped off. We went from it had to be manufactured over and over to it was going to be delivered weeks ago and now nothing. Were still waiting, still paying and going to be without a way to cook now for the holidays. So sick and tired of watching my mom upset and how unprofessionally this has been handled. If theres anyone that sees this in corporate reach out and do something about this.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Do not ever step food in this establishment! There is a reason for the terrible rating and in my opinion this rating is exceptional for the quality of the store and its employees. We purchased a refrigerator and accessory for our washing machine and dryer here. After getting the accessory home we were told that this universal unit actually did not fit with our washing machine and dryer. We were then told when trying to return it that it was out of their control and they could not help us. We have also been back and fourth between LG and this outlet on whos responsibility it is to fix our refrigerator that was delivered broken (the door had to be removed to bring it into the house and was removed incorrectly so the water and ice machine no longer work). When trying to resolve these issues the store manager who was on duty was beyond rude and had an attitude I have never experienced when dealing with a customer service issue. The result was a screaming match between customer and employee which is beyond outrageous. We have been trying to resolve this issue for 3 months now and havent gotten anywhere. I will never return to this store and highly advice everyone else to steer clear. The way they treat their customers is completely unacceptable.

My mom and I came to Sears today, cash in hand. Moms dryer went out and we said its best to buy a new set. We were there for an hour with no service. Finally, the Salesman said he could help us with the line, Ill be right back. I called the store from the store, hoping to get some help. We needed to pay and leave. Finally, we had a Salesman. Two minutes into helping us a lady asked if she could open a credit card. He said that took priority, most likely meant a commission. We stool there for 10 minutes, picked up our jaw from the floor, and left. Never to return again.

Very dissatisfied. I ordered a refrigerator thinking I got a good deal. It was delivered within 3days. The very next evening the fridge stopped cooling and all my stuff were defrosted. Called up customer service and was transferred around and got no where. Finally had to call again and set up a appointment. Technician dont work weekends so I had to wait til Monday. Diagnosed the compressor is bad!! Parts were rushed ordered to get here over night. Waited 3 days nothing, I get an email that they rescheduled me for Monday. I get another email next day stating now I have a case number and have to wait on a manager and still no parts have been shipped.I cant return the damn thing because according to Sears outlet warranty, it has to be deemed unrepairable first.I cant be compensated for all my food and over 400lbs of ice for the pass 13days because that is dealt with the food loss department and i have to list everything and how much it cost and show pictures for them to decide what I should get.I have to wait til Monday to get a call from a manager but apparently they dont work Fridays either. They cant push my appointment to Sooner. BULLSHIT!! Technician told me what theyre trying to do is push me out of my 30days return. And I could fight it and bring it to corporate. But with 2toddlers Im literally drained to fight this. I just want a working refrigerator.
