I had to do a lot of research to find someone to repair my car after I was hit . Not to mention the persons insurance did everything possible to delay the process ! 42 Collision not only repaired my car from where I was hit, but I asked them to repair some things I needed that I paid them for !!!! These people are the real deal! Professional, on time, communication is fantastic, and when you pick up your car that is now 7 years old, it looks like the day you drove it off the lot brand new !!!! Very pleased with the work completed by 42 Collision. From the beginning quote communication was great through entire process. The prices were very fair/reasonable and they even found a less expensive alternative for one part which I am grateful for. The truck looked like new after the repairs and paint job. Staff is friendly and professional. I have worked with 42 Collision in the past to complete other smaller work. This was a much bigger job, and I returned for the high quality work, fair prices, and I know can trust them. I highly recommend 42 Collision.

I had originally called another body shop on the recommendation of the insurance company of the guy who had hit me. Their customer service was awful, so I looked online for another nearby shop with better reviews and found this place. They were so friendly and efficient with everything. Robyn really took the time to get my rental car squared away when the insurance agent refused to return my calls to set up the rental. My car was ready a few days before the estimated time and it looks good as new! Hopefully I never need body work again, but if I do, I wont hesitate to give them a call!

I purchased a used Lexus. The front bumper was not properly connected and the interior mirror needed adjustment.Kristi saw to it that everything was perfectly repaired in less than 15 minutes. At no charge!FANTASTIC!

Save your $. I had a fender bender and was told it would take 4 days to fix my car. After 6 days it was supposed to be ready because they had to order a different part. I got there and see that my car isn’t ready. When I pointed out to kristi that it wasn’t complete she got extremely rude and starting yelling at me and my husband. It got so bad I had to ask her why she was talking to me the way she was. She stormed off and threw her hands in the air saying, “ I don’t know” It took them 11 business days to fix my car and I got it back and now my windshield wiper doesn’t work!!! I bought my car brand new and have never been in an accident. How did I get my car back and now my wiper is broke? It was problems with them from day one. I hope they don’t treat everyone like this. I honestly don’t see how they are still in business. Now I have to take my car to a different shop because of something they broke! I am furious about my experience at this place and will never ever take my car there again. I will also recommend that no one I know take their car there. Horrible horrible service! I wish I could give 0 stars.

A deer ruined my day and my Jeep but 42 Collision kissed my boo-boo and made it all better again. I thought for sure that my Jeep was a total loss but Kristi and the team saved me from a new car payment. They worked quickly and my Jeep looks even better than before!I had never purchased a BRAND NEW vehicle but in 2015 decided it was time. So off to the dealership I went to find the perfect Cherokee for me. All the bells & whistles!! And I love my Jeep. I have maintained it, parked it very far away from other cars in lots, washed it every 2 weeks, and treated it like it was $30,000 because it was. After almost 5 years, my Jeep still looked brand new. It didnt have a single ding or scratch....until Friday March 8, 2019.I was on my way down 42E from Clayton toward my office in Raleigh when out of nowhere a deer darted in the road. I didnt have time to react. Struck the poor thing going 60+ MPH. Fur and hooves went flying!! And my Jeep was no more.....until Kristi got her hands on it!!Thank you gals for working magic and getting me rolling again!! It looks brand new again.

Originally gave them a great review for the work on my car, but took my sons car to them and have had the worst experience.They replaced the hood and front bumper on my sons car and when we went to pick it up the hood was misaligned, so we had to point that out to them and then had to wait for them to take it back in the shop to fix it. Not sure why it was not inspected before we were told to come pick it up.After less than 2 months of driving the car the bumper was hanging off the right side of the car. We took it back to them and they told us we must have hit a curb or something and they would not fix it. My son had driven the car for 2 years with no issues of hitting, or catching the bumper on the curb and he said he had not hit anything since the repairs were made that would cause the bumper to fall off.Now the paint is peeling off the bumper on the left side and it looks terrible.These issues are certainly going to cost us when we go to trade it in.Not sure if they used cheap parts, or if it was the workmanship, but regardless, the second experience with 42 Collision has been way less than satisfactory.Should have updated this review sooner, but the paint peeling from the bumper was the last straw.Would not recommend 42 Collision to anyone.

Jerry Coats is a honest and fair person to work with on any issue concerning collision repair or painting. He has done a few jobs for me and I am very satisfied with their work. I would recommend him for anything to do with auto collision. Best body man I know.

Kristi coats the owner of this establishment is rude and hateful. We were trying to use them to cover an accident we had.I made an appointment for a estimate, when I dropped it off I was told it would be a few days for an estimate! Ok great. Called 5 days later- oh your next on the list. Called 6 days later, or were really busy!! We understand that - just be honest.Well why don’t you just come get your car?Uhm ok! We sure will! And let everyone know how “wonderful” (super sarcasm) your customer service is. But she’s the owner so she obviously doesn’t care at all!

I recently got into a accident and my passenger door was completely crushed in . I called and set up an appointment to get an estimate, Kristi the owner/estimator was time efficient in writing up my estimate for the damage. The insurance company said they were a nationwide on your side facility and approved the repairs just like that. Robyn at the front desk helped me get a rental within 20 minutes I was in my rental and leaving my vehicle for the repairs since I couldnt drive it from what they explained to me was a non-drive vehicle . The service is great and the quality in work is even better . I couldnt have asked for a more convenient location and better repair facility to do the repairs .

Made an appointment for my estimate and was given undivided attention to my problem with Kristi Coats. She explained the entire process to me and what to expect going forward. Parts were ordered brought my car in on Monday, rental car was set up,I was good to go.Got a follow up call Wednesday letting me now my repair was on time and would be ready as scheduled for Friday. When I came to pick up my car I looked it over and it looked good as new. Glad I came here for my repair and would highly recommend to any one else who needs a collision repair.

We have used 42 collision a couple of different times and the work has always been fantastic. Any issues or concerns were taken care of as soon as they were brought to their attention. This past week, my bumper got hit in a parking lot and I knew right away where I was bringing it to get fixed. We were getting ready to go out of town and I must admit I was a little embarrassed to drop off my car because the inside needed a serious detail job. It has been so hot lately that I kept putting it off! Well imagine my surprise when I picked up my car ....it looked like it was fresh off of the car lot! They not only did a great job fixing the bumper, but the car was completely detailed inside and out! Thanks for an awesome job! Oh and it also does not hurt that the front desk ladies are fabulous as well!!

Recently I had hail storm damage to both of my cars, so I decided to check with a couple of local body shops in Clayton to see not only what kind of turnaround I would be looking at for getting the repairs, but how well the business would do in terms of quality work and friendliness from their staff. The first body shop I checked with in Clayton had mediocre reviews, and when I went there it wasnt hard to see why. They were unfriendly, disorganized, and acted like they could care less if they got my business or not. From there I went to 42 Collision Center who had rave reviews, and when I arrived it became immediately apparent why. They treated me like family, gave me a turnaround time that was half the time it would have taken the other shop, and everything there was extremely organized. Needless to say I went with them for both of my cars and glad I did. They got both cars back to the way they looked before the storm, and even though the paintless dent repair people that worked with them had a little snafu with one of my windows, they made sure the dent repair guys would cover the cost of fixing it. Id also like to add that during my conversations with them I found out the father (Jerry) of the family who owns and operates 42 Collision was brothers with our previous plumber who had passed away not too long ago, who had also operated his business with the same level of integrity that 42 Collision is run with. Not only will I consider them as the ONLY place to get body work done in the future should anything ever happen again, but I will be referring everyone I know to them.

Called to get a quote on a paint job on a few body parts and sharply was told they werent interested. Im confused and appalled but after an answer like that I let, it seems the owner, hang up and Ill do business elsewhere
