This is the best liquor store you’ll ever find. It’s a size of Walmart it has every variety and selection you could ever find. It has tasty on the weekends. And they have experts all of the store to help you find what you’re looking for they’re very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They also have a special order desk so if you can’t find what you’re looking for you can special order it

In the tri-state area there is no better place to stock up on adult drinks that Total Wine. Hands down. And for those who dont live in DE, tax free is a nice change from the high PA/NJ taxes. Selection is vast and the newly redesigned store is inviting. The staff is off the charts friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

You can’t go wrong here. If you like foreign wine from countries like Chile, Argentina… they have them all. It can get busy on Fridays but it’s worth the wait.

I had originally purchased a bottle of scotch for my brother to pick up on his birthday, sadly the bottle was out of stock and he drove quite a bit of distance to no luck. However, after contacting the store in speaking to Shannon one of their managers he was able to make things right and find an alternate bottle for my brother to pick up and enjoy that was even better than the original. Thank you Shannon for making things right, nice to see the customer service is still alive and well at your store.

A Total wine experience and more, every wine you can think of from everyday, to cheap, to super expensive 1000 dollar bottles, even strange artsy stuff Ive never seen before. Wines not youre thing? They have a large selection of beer and hard liquors. But you want a one stop shop where you can get your favorite Bourbon and Cigars. They also have a built in self serve Humidor with premium cigars. Pretty impressive.

Had everything I wanted and for a great price. Although I went shopping with my husband, I didnt bring my walletAnd since I was with him I had to show my ID. The cashier said I had to show it regardless. I understood so I went and got my ID all the way at the far back of the parking lot and when I came back she had already cashed him out. Did not understand what was the point then 🙄🙄 and she also charged him for the same box of beers 3 extra times. The least she could of done was wait till I got back from getting my ID seeing that it was a must

This was my first time making the trip to Naamans Road since 2020. Im never disappointed with the experience Total Wine offers.The renovations are really nice, the layout is easy to navigate but beware, you will pickup extra items just strolling the aisle. (or at least I always do)Unfortunately I noticed the humidor on my way to the cash register so I couldnt stop to investigate; however, a cigar bar inside the store would be genius!

Had the BEST experience buying alcohol for our wedding. We had no idea how much or what to buy, and Keith and Clay helped us pick out our wines, beer and liquor. Would 100% recommend their wedding consultation for anyone trying to buy alcohol for a large reception!

Last night my husband and I went in an hour before close. The store has a great selection. We were wondering around struggling to really understand what we were looking for when Dave approached us. Dave was so nice, he spent the time to let us try some of his favorite whiskey and bourbon we ended up getting a bottle of each of his suggestions. Honestly we drove half an hour to get to the store and would do it again! Having worked in retail and us going in before close I was expecting people to be a little rude, especially with us looking younger. Dave went above and beyond, the best customer service weve ever experienced. He was knowledgeable about the different products, was kind, personable and was able to answer questions. Its always been an essential place, right there at the Tri-State Mall, which is not the only place around there that has a little bit of everything you need. But just like anywhere else I travel I sit back and I enjoy the moment will ever be here again how many more times will I be here, but the best part about it is how many other places I will ever travel to. I always loved Total Wine & More for their vast selection of wine and spirits, friendly and knowledgeable staff and their tastings. But know... It has all of that and much more!!! The remodel was spectacular!! The store is a great place to take a field trip after being in the house the majority of the week lol. You can take your time browsing through all the sections and aisles. Im not a bourbon drinker; however, I was in awe when I witnessed the rare bourbons that were showcased. I highly recommend this store!!

Drove an hour to this location specifically for the wide selection. After browsing the store for well over an hour and picking up a selection of wine and spirits, we tried to check out. I say tried because we were denied the sale. I am 25 and my friend with me is 28 but because my sister who turns 21 in 2 WEEKS was there, they denied the sale. The cashier was nice enough but the supervisor was rude telling us that she couldn’t make the sale. If the rule is that they cannot sell to anyone who might be buying it for a minor, then why were there children and teenagers in the store as well? Were their purchases denied or is it because I’m not her parent? I could see making a big deal about it if my sister was significantly under age, but her id confirms that she will be 21 in 2 WEEKS! The sign on the door and on the website both say that someone under 21 must be accompanied by an adult of legal drinking age. 25 and 28 are both well over that threshold. If you are going to deny sales based on this type of rule, make it more clear on the sign or check ids at the entrance. I wasted several hours including the drive because of a lack of clarity. After leaving the store and checking the website to see if this is a posted rule anywhere, I went back inside and spoke to a manager. When I pointed out the issue I had with being denied over two weeks while parents were completing sales with actual CHILDREN present, he started rolling his eyes before catching himself and stating, “we don’t want to risk our liquor license.” That’s not even the penalty for sales to a minor in Delaware. Frustrated I did a quick search and found this,”It’s legal in Delaware for persons of any age under 21 to drink alcohol with “members of the same family.” But one of these members must provide the alcohol. And the person under 21 must drink it in the “private home of any of said members.” The law does not define “family.” Nor does the law state a minimum age of those members. There is no Delaware state law that specifically prohibits anyone under age 21 from buying alcohol. But it prohibits ‘obtaining’ alcohol by making a false statement. It’s also illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under age 21.” There were no false statements and she was not purchasing the alcohol. It’s not even for her. The lack of posted signage about this “rule” was irritating but I am writing this review because the way it was handled was rude. There is no law preventing a sale with a minor present in Delaware. I stood there watching people with children and teenagers check out so the decision to deny the sale was made purely based on assumptions that we MIGHT provide alcohol to someone who turns 21 in 2 weeks but the parents must never let their children get into the alcohol so they can buy a full cart load. If you are going to make rules, at least enforce them on everyone instead of making bad excuses when asked about the exceptions.

Total wine was great. There was a guy working there who gave us a lot of information about champagne. He is very knowledgeable and he works every Saturday if you want to learn some interesting facts or if you just want some help choosing a great bottle

Total Wine is totally stocked and stacked with enough liquor, beer and wine to get everyone in an average-sized country drunk everyday for a few generations. The variety here is beautifully overwhelming, and the options are almost too much to choose from. The staff are very friendly and help with navigating the everything there is to explore around the store. Theyre also happy to give recommendations and let you know what top sellers are out.

Such a great selection, like a department store for wine & spirits. One half is dedicated to wines, the other liquors and beer. We tried two different rums, a Gin and summer wine all for around $65! In every aisle there are sale items for the wallet friendly budget.

Simply put: this is the most impressive liquor store I’ve ever been to, and one of the most impressive retail stores I’ve visited in my life. You get why this is the flagship store. For first time visitors - it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Walk in with a plan or an idea, and have the great staff direct you to where you need to be.I can’t really think of anything negative to say about the place. If you are interested in wine, are a bartender in training, or are after an enormous selection of beer, nothing can top this place.

The newly the remodeled Total Wine in Claymont on Naamans Road is the BOMB!!! It was like being in a mall like in King of Prussia, PA. Everywhere you look there was something interesting to browse. I told my husband you could actually ride a bicycle through there. Hats off to your decorator/builder!!!

Caution, the walls of alcohol may overcome you and your cart. Yes, you easy to spend $500 or more, hence the MORE in the name. Delaware is a tax free state, and its just a few minutes off I-95. Dont have time order on-line and pickup at one of the 15 check out counters.

Best place to buy your spirits. They have most every wine from every country. They might miss a few but you can find something reasonable and good. Very helpful staff. Beer section is huge. Kegs, half kegs and a few smaller ones. They have most everything alcohol and spirits plus mixers, soda, cups and yes they have the expensive stuff too.

It was spacious and they had so many options of drinks. Even non-alcoholic drinks. So awesome. And it had a wedding reception feel to it. Very nice.

I love this place for the rarity of scotches they have! Some of the scotch I like, are in the higher tier. So its great to know they have some of these... like The Glenfiddich 21, The Dalmore King Alexander III, Chivas Regal 18, JW Blue label, Aberlour 16, The Glenlivet 18, I just need them to carry The Bunnahabhain 18 & the Glen Grant 18 year & Im golden 😄🥃.Then they still have the regular good stuff... Ardbeg, Macallan, Glenfiddich 15 & 18yr, The Dalmore 15... they need the 18, thats another bottle I havent seen. I love Dalmore!! 😎But they have a pretty good selection...Sorry, i havent gone into the wines... but theres a tone of them i have to walk pass just to get to the scotch section. Oh they have a nice little humidor in there as well, if you interested in picking up a cigar. Its self serve & they have most of the popular ones & the prices are pretty reasonable!I will definitely be back... so hopefully, they see my review & keep the scotch fully stocked cause I done sent 8 people there so far.Cheers! 😎🥃👍🏾

Strategically located next to two high sales tax states, this is the most ginormous liquor store you can find, and theres a cigar shop inside as well. Youre going to want to stock up.

Since the renovations and expansion its even better. Huge selections of whatever your adult beverage of choice is. A large selection of accoutrements and more snacks and the like. Staff is and has been unfailingly helpful and polite. What else could you ask for ?
