My wife and I decided to switch from Consumers Cellular. We stopped in and spoke with Tanner about what Verizon had to offer before looking at other options as well. He was very informative and did not make us feel pressured at all. Verizon did come out to be a couple more dollars a month than some others but we ultimately decided to go with them because of the great customer service Tanner had shown us. We got a new iPhone 11 and a Moto Z4. We have already returned once to the store to ask some questions about the phones and Tanner was more than happy to assist us with answering our questions. Amazing customer service and we are so glad we stopped at this location.
I just stopped in to get a cell phone charger for my wife’s phone. Her charger stopped working and she needed a replacement right away. I didn’t have here phone with me so she sent me a picture of the charger.I showed the picture of the charger to the salesperson and he said “we have that”. He walked over and grabbed a box. It was $45, which seemed a little high, but we needed it, so I bought it. I very specifically asked if we could take it back and I was told that it would not be a problem.I drove home and my wife tried to plug the charger in. She quickly realized that we had the wrong charger. We neatly put it back in the box and I returned to the store with the new charger, the broken charger, and my wife’s phone.I was told that they would not be able to give me a refund because there was no manager present - when I was literally told by the same person 10 minutes earlier that it wouldn’t be a problem. I was given the option of waiting for a manager, who should be there in half an hour. I stated that I didn’t have time for that, at which point the “helpful” salesperson pointed out that I had time to come to the store twice in one day.Extremely dissatisfied with this whole experience and counting the minutes until I can come back to get the refund that they owe me.
Stopped in when I was next door because my IPhone was having an issue. I’m currently with a different provider and Tanner and Junior did not hesitate to help me out and figure out what was going on with my phone. I am definitely considering switching carriers just based off of the amazing customer service these two provided me. 10/10 would highly recommend coming here

I got a new phone with a screensaver and case. I stopped at Verizon and Andrew transferred the info from my old phone to the new one.....effortlessly....put on the screensaver....flawlessly....even put on the new case! Awesome service....my husband had been helped by Andrew recently...always premier service!!! Kudos to Andrew!
Phone wasn’t working. Came in and got great customer service and a brand new phone. The Manager tried to fix my problems with my phone before it turned into me having to get a new one. I did not feel pressured to buy a phone and felt he was making every effort to fix my problems. After it wasn’t working, he gave me several options to fit in the price point I was looking at. Highly recommend this location
Came in to get my wife a new phone. Tanner helped me get her number from her employers account and pick out the best deal on a phone. I always come to this location because of the great customer service and staff. They are so quick and make sure I understand all the charges and why they are there!

Get Promotions in WritingMy wife, son and myself went into this store on black Friday 2016. At that time Verizion was offering promotions on various Android devices and we got 3 - Galaxy S7, Pixel and Pixel XL. At the time of the sale we were told that the S7 and Pixel would be $10/month after monthly credits and $20/month for the XL. That the credits would start kicking in after about 3 months and continue on for the 2-year agreement plan we signed. After a lot of calling to customer support as it stands today the S7 is $10/month, the Pixel $15/month and the Pixel XL $32.50/month (no discount). The issue I have here is that none of these promotions are written into any contracts. You have to take it at face value that what you are being told is true. The guy we dealt with at the store was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable, but what he told me at the time was flat out untrue. I dont think he intentionally was lying, its there are so many promotions (and they are complex) but in the end I was left holding the bag. The S7 was the only phone that kicked in the promotion automatically. The Pixel I had to call Verizon support numerous times and finally that came in at $15. The reason for $5 higher than what I was told was because the device I have has more memory (which my wife doesnt use or need), but you can only argue so much. The XL just never had a promotion attached and Verizon would rather have me pissed off at them then correct the issue. 9 years as a customer at $245 month and they are willing to have me walk once this contract is up than make it right. The process IMO is flawed, so just be careful when you get a promotion that you have a guarantee (perhaps signed side paper between you and the owner of the store) to take back if something goes awry. Or as I am recommending going forward, dont use Verizon.
I came in here just based on location of where I was at the time. Then I found out this location is under new management and I’ll just say that I’ll be coming here from now on. Everyone that I dealt with was so incredibly helpful. They were all so personable and nice to everyone that came into the store while I was there. They were all amazing!
Came to this store out of convenience to get my dad a new phone. Tanner provided me with exceptional service and went above and beyond to get everything done for me. I plan to be switching my business accounts over with him as well.

Dropped my new phone in water. Stopped in here and they advised me to attempt to put my phone in rice with hopes it would work. The staff here didn’t just jump at the chance to get me a new phone. They took the time to explain all of my options and recommended I try the rice first. Most places would of just told me I need a new phone and I’m out of luck. Maybe good customer service isn’t gone after all.
Dave has gone above and beyond for me since my phone broke. He is very kind, patient and helpful! He made sure all my questions were answered, and has been doing everything he can to try and recover my photos that were lost. He is not pushy at all and is so very honest. I will definitely continue to see him for all of my future purchases/questions. Happy to have found him and highly recommend him!

Even though I ended up returning my purchase bc I went with a repair this store manager provided excellent customer service based on my individual cracked phone situation. Verizon no longer offers a free phone for a 2 year contract and the package deal they offered was comparable to the closest Verizon store. There is a 30$ line activation fee which I am unsure if that is charged at all stores. Very friendly customer service. Convenient location & parking.
My husband and i went into this location to get a screen protector (01-08-2019). in November, we purchased one from the madison heights / oakland mall location, along with their goadvantage plan that covers screen protector in case he breaks it, they replace it 3x for free. this protection plan along with original screen protector cost us $130.we walked into clawson location (after leaving the oakland mall location only to find they didnt have his model in stock and suggested we go to this location for screen protector), there was NO ONE in the store except for two employees behind the desk - one female and one male. we asked for a screen protector for his phone and explained that we were just at the other one and they said this location has it. she asked if we had a code. at that time, we had no idea what she was referring to. she responded with - you have to log onto the goadvantage website and give her a code. we asked if she could just contact the other store, or get whatever info she needed off of our receipt from november. she said no. we had to leave the store, go home and log onto their website. i had to contact goadvantage myself and learn that she could have and should have contacted them and got the code in the same manner in which i had. matt and vince at goadvantage kindly walked me through the user-friendly way to get this code needed to get our screen protector. they had more knowledge, customer service skills than employees in this store. we went back to the clawson location to give them this code and get our screen protector. i am the customer - that should be able to rely on their employees to be trained / knowledgeable on what they sell/offer. if you have purchased this screen protection plan from them - do not rely on their employees knowing what they sell. contact goadvantage yourself
Stopped in to get a new phone after my dog got ahold of mine. Tanner got me into a brand new phone, changed my plan to unlimited data all while keeping my bill relatively the same. Not to mention transferred everything to my new phone!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I would score a negative number if I could. I ordered a new iphone 7 weeks ago. They never called when it arrived as they stated they would. I finally called them. They said they indeed called me and spoke to me. Ummmm. .NO. Then stated his co-worker was supposed to handle the call and did not but they had my phone. When I arrived to pick up the phone a few days later, DID NOT have my phone set aside with my name on it. Then I was asked if I was at that STORE when I ordered....um YES, I was. Then tried blaming Verizon themselves saying that THEY cancelled my phone and I didnt see the email from them. Um NO. Wait! It gets better......then asked if I had paid my bill on time. When I said yes...they asked Are you sure? You have got to be kidding me!! How about taking responsibility and admitting YOUR STORE SCREWED UP?? As a LONG time Verizon customer, I was insulted and felt talked down too as if I was a child and not a professional woman with a Masters degree. When I stated I would be getting my cell service elsewhere I was told Im sorry to hear that. I could tell he was broken up about it. I immediately called Verizon customer service. They were appalled and stated they HAD NOT cancelled my phone.If you want POOR customer service and like being LIED to and spoken to like you are some idiot ...then THIS is the VERIZON store for you!

Lets just say I am a very patient person but I have been here 3hours and still havent walked out with a new phone. I feel bad for the family before me since they been here for a lot longer then me. And yes we have been the only customers during that time. Very disappointed in this Verizon store. Will not be coming back here and just want to warn anyone else who wants to spend their Sunday afternoon here.
