My boyfriend bought a car with a low credit score. The down payment was less than a grand! James and Mark were amazing at breaking down the whole process and getting us the most for our money. All the cars have low mileage and decently priced. Now he drives 2014 Mazda 3 Sport with less that 45,000 miles. They set up the payments for the day of the week that is best for him. :) Amazing experience, amazing company, amazing employees, amazing car. 10/10 will recommend to anyone. :)

My wife and I went to this American Car center Clarksville location and I just can’t say enough good things about the folks here. We live on the complete other side of Nashville and there are at least 4 other shops closer to us, but we wanted to work with James the store manager. He sold myself and my wife our cars three years ago and when it was time to get a new vehicle for my wife we knew there was no one else to go with. This vehicle is the one my wife saw online and knew she wanted and James and Mark did everything they could to ensure that she was able to get in it. And she did! Mark was efficient and respectful and when my wife wavered on the car in case she couldn’t get it, he pushed to make sure she got the car she wanted! James even went to bat for us with a little discrepancy we were having with her previous car, and didn’t stop till he got our way for us. I have a little bit more time on my lease but as soon as I’m ready I’ll be right back up there after a 50 minute car ride to work with this team again! Also wanted to give a shout-out and thank you to another member of their staff Shante; she was amazing! She kept an eye on our daughter, and kept the waiting period filled with laughter and fun. And now all we are waiting on is the date for that cookout! Thank you to the entire team!

Please do NOT BUY FROM THEM! I was making payments on a car that I got from them, until my daughter was in an accident. When my insurance company sent them the money to cover what was left of the payments, they stole ALL OF IT and we did not receive a single penny AFTER the payment was made to them. We are currently in the process of getting a lawyer to sue them and they treat veterans like that if we known that they treated people like that we would have went next door or Wyatt Johnson at least they dont cheat people out of theyre hard earn money. Please vets do not go to them they will CHEAT U!

DO NOT purchase a car from here!!! I’m 18 y/o so I had been having trouble trying to find a dealership willing to work with me. I found American Car Center on Facebook. James Atkins tried very hard to get me into a car. A week after purchasing my car I began having trouble starting it my car then began turning off while driving. I took the car back to the lot to figure out the issue and was told by Mark “we just sell cars call your warranty”. I was given the run around about getting my car fixed. I finally was told to take it to Wyatt Johnson Kia service and the car was kept for a week, Richard Thompson the man over my warranty had a very ugly attitude towards me and claimed to have not remembered speaking to anyone ever regarding the car. I was then told the issue with my car had to do with the engine and that my warranty DID NOT cover the 6,000 dollars. I was told I was getting placed in a rental since I had been without a car for weeks, and never got that. I was told the car would not be fixed due to the cost, I decided to end the contract and not be placed into a new car due to the way the staff handled the entire situation. I was then promised a refund of my down payment of 800 dollars and now I can only receive 27 dollars back due to the “excessive mileage” put on the car that I only had for 8 days. Now I receive calls everyday telling me I need to pay my car note. Overall this was a very frustrating situation, I do not wish these problems on anyone. Avoid this nightmare of a business and look elsewhere!!!!!

I contacted these guys first thing Friday morning. A pleasant man answered, named Edward, and he provided nothing but exceptional customer service through all of our communications. I visited the lot later in the afternoon and was pleasantly greeted by all the staff...not hounded... just pleasantly greeted which I greatly appreciated! After a few hours of paperwork, calls and an APPROVAL, I was able to pick out a beautiful car! James was patient, funny and very informative on any and everything finance! The surrounding staff, Malcolm and the sweet lady that asked what I was eating, interacted with me and other customers which really made me feel comfortable even though I was nervous when I arrived. I purchased a car from them back in February. Upon purchasing the vehicle they helped set up full coverage insurance. They signed off i drove off. Its now September and they are charging me extra. Come to find out they allowed me to drive off to tell me several months after my car insurance does not have the 25,000 for a total loss. I have 15,000 mind you the car had a few dents and rust spots already on it. The car is bot worth 25,000. Well now they are charging a extra 30.00 on my car note that I refuse to pay all because they did not do there job right. This car dealer set my insurance up for me. They tried to say I never had insurance. But how could one drive off the lot with out. This was the first and last buy here pay here place I will ever go. I feel like Im being stolen from when I have everything I need for the state I live in. Also I feel like if there was a issue it should had been brought to my attention same day of sale. Im very disappointed and will not refer anyone i know here.

First off do not believe the hype. These guys are much much better than what they advertise. My wife and I were about to be in a really bad situation where we were going to be down to one car and two jobs to get to in Nashville. We had just got a new car from Jenkins and Wynne and then my wifes Altima that we purchased from Ride and Drive was taking a dive from the moment we left the lot. Then we found our new friends James Pearson and James Atkins. These guys were beyond welcoming and friendly and all the above. Not only did they have the car we wanted and fell in love with in stock, but they also assured us that if they didnt have it they could get another one. And they really do work with you on your down payment. And the oil change deal is legit. I had been working on getting a car from them for 2 months. Not from lack of effort on their part. These people were not helpful at all. They were very short and quite rude not to mention they bring you in on completely false promises. They told us an answer takes 10 minutes, however we didnt receive one for over 24 hours. They wasted our time and energy when we were in a critical situation. They didnt do anything to try to help us, only wasted our time with their false ads. I DO NOT recommend if you are in a pinch. These guys are a waste of time.
