Ok so I was referred to you guys by multiple people and I was excited to go and get my service done. On two different occasions I was dismissed. I did my research ahead of time to see when it closed and went in with plenty of time and the man at the front counter was not friendly or accommodating and could not refer me to a place that could also provide me the service that I desperately needed on my car I was simply dismissed and talked to with disrespect and it’s very disappointing because I was very much looking forward to using you all now and in the future, sad to say that won’t be happening and I will not be referring anyone to you.

Big guy at the counter always nice and service is good. Although its a disappointment that I cant peruse stuff for my car and Pep Boys had one of the largest selections of automotive related items out of any store that offers them. From what Ive learned they will just be doing service from now on and will not be selling parts or allowing shopping anymore at all. Too bad...

Went in to find an oil filter wrench. Unbeknownst to me they stopped selling parts/tools a year ago. However, the service writer or manger ( not sure of the young mans position) went into the shop and found a filter wrench for my unique need ( motorcycle filter). I cannot articulate in words how much the helped me. Thanks 🙏

Stopped by to get an oil change because my usual place had no techs for the day. One guy went outside with a clipboard to inspect the car, and then told me I had about a 40 minute wait. I was the only one in the store, and there was only one car on the rack inside...two techs were there. I received an oil change and was told I had a leaky gasket and oil pan, but was not given any paperwork saying so nor was I given an estimate for the repairs. I probably would have went back later to do this, but without an estimate given I will go back to my usual place.

Service was outstanding at Pep Boys in Clarksville. Prices were well below their competition and I was more than well pleased with the Courtesy extended to me and my family. They serviced my Mercedes Benz for a fraction of what Big O wanted to charge me and a pittance of what the Dealer wanted to charge me. And the Pep Boys Team were real gentlemen. Cant say enough good things about my experience there today. May God continue to richly bless these men and women.

Had to have a tire plugged. The service staff was fast and friendly. They were able to take care of it quickly and their price to plug it was over 50% less than another tire shop.

Took my sons car here for tires today. They were the cheapest! I havent been to this place in years because of a bad experience I had in the past, several years ago. I spoke with Jermery today about the tires and the customer support I received from him was excellent! I didnt wait long and he gave me updates during my wait. I also saw him helping the tech put the tire on. He was friendly and working hard. I also spoke with Tyler about making me a key, which he did quickly and answered some questions I had.

I called this location about having a Lyft inspection done on my vehicle. I was told over the phone they could get me in and out fairly quickly.When I arrived, I was told there were NO mechanics on duty and they could not perform the inspection today.No mechanics on duty. At a mechanic shop.I disliked Pep Boys but was willing to give them another chance. And they blew it.

Nice auto parts store, had my online order ready to go when I got there. Didnt take time to look around much but looked like they had a good selection and some good deals. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and store was neat and clean.

Our Jeep broke down on the expressway this morning and we called Pep Boys tow service to pick up the car. This part was very good, however when they brought it to the store and they called me what I heard next, I could not believe. A heater hose had broken and they wanted $556 to replace it.Of course they had a long list of things they were doing along with it like flushing the cooling system but the bottom line was $556 to replace a heater hose. I could not believe my ears and got my car out of there. The actual ticket for the repair was $65 at another shop.Draw your own conclusions from this, I have drawn mine and Pep Boys does not come out looking well. What can they be thinking? I have gotten good service at a reasonable price there in the past but it looks like those days are over. Take your car to another shop that will treat you fairly.

Weve had tires put on our cars and oil changes for years at this location. Today I had an unexpected nail in a tire. Short wait and good service. Coupons in the mail from Pep Boys are an added bonus.

Found it but had different types so just took lucky guess. No one seemed interested in helping. Went up front to pay but no one there. Man in automotive was watching tv so I asked him where I could pay. He rang it up and handed me the can. Never ever offered a sack. Went back to his show.

I GOT A SET OF FOUR TIRES FROM PEP BOYS 2 YEARS AGO. I HAD AN ISSUE WITH ONE OF THEM. I PURCHASED THE ROAD HAZARD PROTECTION WHEN I GOT THE TIRES. PEP BOYS MADE GOOD AND RESOLVED MY ISSUE NO PROBLEM. MY NEXT SET OF TIRES WILL BE COMING FROM PEP BOYS. THE SERVICE COUNTER GUYS DID A VERY GOOD JOB LETTING ME KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHEN MY TRUCK WOULD BE READY. THANKS PEP BOYS!

Dont go to Pep Boys unless you have a bunch of money you want to waste! They charge at least four times as much as the job should cost. The quality of the work is fine. They charged me for an hour of labor ($60) for work that only took 15 minutes. I wasnt even on the property for an hour! If its late and you are desperate with a wallet full of cash...this is the place for you!

In the past 10 months I have had a few different issues with my car. Each time, I went to Pep Boys and received excellent, fast, and fair service. They even performed two things with no charge. Im a female senior citizen who needs to rely on trustworthy auto repair. I have found my new go-to service center. Thank you, Pep Boys.

A Pep Boys mechanic FORGOT TO PUT OIL BACK IN MY CAR! They RUINED MY ENGINE! Then they replaced my engine with a junk engine and are now refusing to fix the ongoing issues that are occurring due to the replacement engine.My cars value has depreciated too, so I cant even trade it in for what it was worth before Pep Boys ruined the engine.I have been dealing with this issue for months. The manager of the store has been extremely unhelpful. He tried to lie to me on several occasions. The corporate customer service was good, but they still did not help to make this completely right.Do not trust Pep Boys with your vehicle! They cannot perform the simplest of repairs!

Came here close to closing time with a flat and they went out of their way to quickly get us back on the road again at a great price. They have a great and friendly staff

I have been going to Pep Boys in Clarksville for years (at least 6). I went in with an overheated truck and expected just to fix that. I ended up fixing a few nagging problems (they recommended) while it was there. I am so glad I did. They got it all done in the same day. It is all warranted work. I couldnt be more pleased. They are #1 in my book.

Service at this store has definitely gone downhill. Stopped in there about a month ago to buy wiper blades and they had no problem installing them, stopped in there 2 days ago and they told me they did not offer that service. 2 weeks ago, I actually had to call the store from my phone and ask if there was a cashier on duty

In at Pam out at 10:45 brakes all round new rotors rear plugs. Very helpful service desk also. Never a bad day at pep boys for me!Customer for about 10 years.

We have been trying to purchase tires for our Dodge Ram pick up truck for over 2 weeks now. We scheduled an appointment online and verified the tires I wanted were in stock. When I showed up for my appointment they informed me that those tires werent even in stock and they dont have time to put them on even if they were. I waited a few days and scheduled an appointment again to have them put on and gave them 4 days to get them in stock. When I showed up this morning at my appointment time. There was no one there except for 1 employee that was sitting behind the counter of the garage with a pair of Croc shoes on. (he wasnt planning on doing any work with those on). and he was on the phone. He did not acknowledge me or any of the other people that showed up after I did. I waited for 15 minutes and he was still on the phone and still no other employees anywhere to help anyone waiting. I just ended up leaving because no one was interested in helping any one. If this was my business I would be furious at the level of disrespect shown to customers and the lack of effort on the employees to do their job. Completely unacceptable. #wontbeinbusinesslong

I feel like someone there is trying to get their game on. I was told the price of a blower motor for a 2005 Chevy trailblazer was $185 plus labor. I found the same thing on the internet for $27.99. I called their parts department in the store I was at and was told they had one there for $39.99. I then questioned the guy that told me that ridiculous price and he said they order the parts out for vehicles they work on in the bay and he also told me that I was looking at the wrong part. I showed him on my phone that it was the right part I invited him to come over to the parts counter see how much their own store charged for the same part. Needless to say he knew that I had him and if it would have been somebody that didnt know no better like a handicap person etc. they would have been taken for a ride and thats not right. SHAME ON PEPBOYS!

Took our car in to get it serviced and they never called us back. We were hoping to get the problem fixed before the beginning of the week. After two days of not hearing anything, we decided to call. We found out that they couldnt fix the problem because they couldnt calibrate the car. They found this out the day after we dropped off the car but we received no phone call to tell us this. We only got our car back because we decided to call to check up on the progress. They said that there was a lack of communication, we were supposed to have already been notified. Either way, my fiancé and I will not be coming back here again.

Great auto parts store and auto repair shop they also offer free towing to their shop which can be paid after your car is repaired this is especially handy.

AWESOME SERVICE.I was attempting to service some bad brake pads when I ran into a snag with the caliper. Long story short. A young employee named Blake came out to my car checked it out for me and found the true issue keeping me from completing my repair. Not only did he save me money and time, he went above and beyond to totally help me complete the repair.This Pep Boys store has helped me in the past and in my opinion hands down the top auto service center around.

Cant even get good customer service making a phone call. I want to tell you the type of repair I need, and see if you do that kind of work. What size engine is it? I dont know. Youll need to find out and call back.. Really, I cant even tell you about the problem with my automatic door to see if you do that kind of work until I go get information on the engine? On Sunday night I made an appointment (online) for my local Pep Boys store in Clarksville, IN. The A/C in my wifes car went out on Sunday afternoon, so I made an appointment for Wednesday, at 10 am. My wife is off on Wednesdays, so her car would be available. I checked the box for A/C service online, and added a comment saying that the A/C had gone out on a road trip back from Tennessee. I got a confirmation e-mail, and made sure it was on my calendar.Today, just before 10 am, I went to Pep Boys to drop her car off. After waiting at the desk for a few minutes for someone to come in from the shop, I proceeded to check in. The man behind the counter asked what name the appointment was under, and then asked what it was for. As I was explaining, he found the appointment and said, oh, A/C. He then told me that he would not have a technician in who could do A/C work until Friday. I asked what the point of my having an appointment was, and he asked if I had called or used the online service. When I said online, he told me that that is why they prefer that people call to make appointments.I would have simply preferred that he looked at the schedule for the next day, and seen an appointment for A/C work. He could have then either scheduled a qualified technician, or called me to change my appointment. But allowing me to come out, on time, only to be told both that they could not do the work and that I should have called instead of using the online appointment service is lousy customer service. I had to go home and find another shop that could do the work, today.This whole thing was ridiculous.

Worst tire balance job I have ever had, took forever, charged me $35 extra, and had to borrow my bottle jack to do it !! I would highly recommend taking ANY vehicle to somewhere else. Would have given negative stars if I could

I went there for a tune up, and they talked me into a diatonic and when they were done I was informed that I needed a new engine. Went some where else received my tune up and now I am doing wonderful.

I will NEVER go to Pep Boys again EVER! I told them that I was up until 3am that morning checking fuses, relays, and circuits as to why the heater blower would not work. They said No problem. It will be $44.99 to diagnose the issue. That was around noon. Then at 5:30pm the service manager calls me and tells me the following: My mechanic just got done checking all your vans fuses, relays, and circuits. Everything checks out ok. Now we need more time (money) to check for the issue. That will be $157. Really?? I told then TWICE I had already checked all the fuses, relays, and circuits!!! Yet they charged me $48 (and change) to check what I already checked, and NEVER even looked for the issue they were supposed to look for!. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! What ripoffs! No idea how this place stays in business!

Terrible customer service. Wait is always 2 hrs + for a simple rotate and balance because theyre short handed.. but have 3 guys at desk chit chatting. Wal-Mart big O is the place to go for efficiency.

Was told different things from different people then told two different prices then was offered to let someone do it on the side for cheaper and then was charged for a service I was never told about before they would release car to me. I went online and looked for a new set of tires for an up coming long distance trip. I found the tires and they advised me to buy them online to make sure the installation location had them in stock. I did and scheduled them to be installed. They sent me reminders about the tire appt. So far so good. So I drive 30 minutes to this location along with my wife and kids (in another vehicle). Then I am told by a bored looking employee that they dont have those tires and cant get them. Also no other tires that would fit my car. No sorry about that. When I told him...I already paid for these tires...he says...I can cancel the order. When I asked him why they let me buy tire that you didnt have in stock, he just shrugged and asked, do you want me to cancel these? THANKS A LOT Pep boys for leaving me in the lurch before a long road trip and wasting a total of 120 miles of unnecessary driving. THIS COMPANY DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER! stay away.

I recently had our #1, 2 and 3 cars in for the oil change specials and Summer Prep Maintenance at the Clarksville, Indiana location. All went very well considering they found a little bit of maintenance needing to be done on all the vehicles. I bought a couple new tires for my car, but still need A/C work, sway bar and outer tie rod ends replaced on another. Teddy, Manager helped me out on the tires very well and took care of an issue with wiper blades that come with the Summer Prep Package. Grainger and Rob and Tim and the mechanics who did the work also came through for me in my 2 days at their shop with our 3 automobiles. Pep Boys continues to be my garage of choice when I need something done in a hurry and get a fair price. 5 Stars again for this latest visit.

There was a car at a nearby dealership I was so Interested in that I traveled 250miles from Knoxville Tn to check it out. I knew from my hometown Pep Boys experience that these guys are pros!They put it on the lift and within seconds there was about 5 people all huddled around my car looking over every inch for a leak or rust or anything weird going on. They told me everything wrong with the car and the price of repair and even told me what they thought the car was worth!I was very hesitate on buying a 10 year old car that came from up north, BUT these professionals helped me decide very quickly on what to do.I was looking to buy a subaru and 3 of them either had a subaru or had once worked for subaru! Had an appointment for 9am. They did not see the car till 11am. Mens restroom was nasty!!! Other than that ok prices, and polite service.

When I get my car fixed from a bent interior tire rod, Im always cautious by car shops around my area. Went to Walmart first to see if they can do anything. They couldnt, so he pointed me to PepBoys and another shop.Since I had Pepboys back at my old home (Dallas, Tx) it was my first choice.The sale guys may have been in their mid 20s and a little hesitant talking to them, but it all comes down to the mechanic. The mechanic was polite, knowledgeable and quick to figure out what was wrong (bout 15 min).When it came down to money, not only were they the only shop that were less expensive (only check several shops around the area) but they also had some deals online. I believe paying 236$ was worth getting it fixed. It wasnt one of those things where you can hold off on fixing it.Gave them a chance and they passed in my book. But I always recommend checking pricing around the area for other people.Thanks Pep Boys
