57 years ago we bought a 7 foot round bed. Over the years we replaced the mattress. We just replaced it again. It was impossible to find someone to make a round mattress until we spoke to Mindy.this was an online miracle. We never heard of Mindy or the Orange Co. After a brief conversation Mindy convinced us she would replicate our exact mattress. The construction, firmness& fabric used are exceptional. I was nervous about buying a custom bed over the phone but really needed an extra long one due to my husbands height. After speaking with Mindy, who was super helpful, I purchased a mattress and a topper. They are both amazing and so comfortable. Will definitely be recommending this place to everyone.

I am very pleased with my custom bedding. I bought the best you have I sleep better then I have in many decades. The only thing I can say it needs is a thick top to make the surface flat and covers the spring tie downs. So for another thirty dollars it’s perfect. Thanks

My son made a beautiful crib for his new son, by cutting the trees, peeling the bark and preserving the wood, a true work of love! Unfortunately he didnt consider the size of a standard crib mattress. This company was able to make a custom made mattress that fits perfectly and get it shipped all the way to Alaska from N.J. I just visited AK and was impressed with the quality and care that was put into this mattress. Now it is truly an heirloom piece of furniture.

We are loving our new custom-made and hand-crafted mattress. We wanted an old-fashioned, all-natural mattress with horsehair and cotton, and it is wonderful! Firm, solid and incredibly comfortable to sleep on. We were extremely satisfied with the both the product and the process.

We had to replace all of the mattresses in our home due to mold. We were under a tight deadline to move back into our house after the remediation/reconstruction, and this was all in the middle of Covid quarantine. Mindy did a great job helping us choose the best mattresses for each room and was amazing in working with our schedule to get the quickest possible delivery date. It was a pleasure working with her.

We engaged Mindy to build a custom box spring for an antique bed, part of a 100+ year bedroom set that had just been restored, originally my great grandfather’s now being given to my daughter for her apartment in Boston. Mindy was expert in her guidance and provision of the box spring, a decision making process that took time and knowledge but when the challenge of shipping and reassembling the bedroom set, moving from NJ to Boston seemed an insurmountable issue, Mindy stepped in and arranged for everything. A huge help, she was all about service, couldn’t be happier with the total result.

Fabulous. Great service and advice from a lovely person on the phone - no robot thank heavens. The custom mattress fit my over 200 year old antique bed perfectly. All the bedding I ordered with it fit it perfectly. The delivery and set up was on time, fast and thorough by very nice delivery people. AND the bed is incredibly comfortable. Who could ask for more! I am still in awe to be waking up in the morning and NOT aching!!!! It was WELL worth the search to find this mattress company for our antique bed!! We waited way too long to get this new one!!! I looked for months, for a company that could custom make a round mattress, extra firm, due to several back surgeries that I had. I Order this bed about three months ago a custom 9 foot wide 7 foot long mattress I had never ordered a custom mattress before. After I slept on it the first night I realize how comfortable it truly was, also I ordered one of their long king-size pillows and that truly made the ultimate sleeping experience for me. The ladies that work there are so nice they call you when they say they’re going to call you they text you,they check up on you, they do exactly what they say when they say 100 percent of the time!! I also ordered pillow shams, custom sheets soft and comfortable. All I can say is if you’re looking for a large comfortable mattress I would look no other place than here ! Good quality, custom box spring affordable. They shipped via FedEx. No problem but they should provide track number and email notice so you can track delivery. FedEx did provide info day before. What if we were away ? All in all I recommend them. I had to buy out of state...hard to find supplier - so they did good.

But then realized that his current bed (which was actually my old wooden bed frame from This End Up) I could simply extend it’s length by fabricating new support beams, which I did (increasing length from 80 to 84”).After doing an online search for customized bedding, I came across Orange Mattress. To my pleasant surprise, their location in Maplewood, NJ made it possible to visit their showroom (I reside in NY’s Westchester County area), which allowed me to physically compare the various mattress options (style, materials and fill) that they offer. Not only do they offer a great product (my son LOVES the comfort/support of his new mattress), they do so AS PER THE CUSTOMER’S MEASUREMENTS! I could have needed any length and they would have easily been able to accommodate. Plus, their turn around in producing and delivering the mattress and box spring was just within a week’s time.My son’s currently 15 years old and stands 6’ 5”, so I’ll be back to Orange Mattress for another mattress once he grows out of this one. 😁

Im a very fussy sleeper, and demand an excellent bed. My prior bed was a Dux, quite nice. But the one I just got from Orange Mattress is the best ever. I have the horsehair mattress with embedded memory foam. Just amazingly comfortable. Also, service, delivery and installation were flawless.

I was thrilled to find a place that still makes custom size mattresses. I was not comfortable buying a mattresses without trying it so we made the road trip to NJ from upstate NY. MINDY was very accommodating and everything worked out well.
