Nice employees. My fiance works here and he has a fun time with his employees everyday he works. Management does a good job at teaching employees.

We just purchased a nice big sectional for our home! The best part of our buying experience was having Cassie help us with all of our needs! Even helping us load it into our truck herself! Definitely recommend this store!

Had everything we needed but there was a person ahead of us at the furniture department and it seemed to take forever to ring them out. We rang out very quickly after that happened.

During the pandemic, health specialists recommend going to stores like biglots, dollar general, and other smaller markets to get your day-to-day items instead of places like Walmart where there is a high level of people traffic. you can find a lot of your home essentials here. at this claremont location, there is a high variety of home goods, cleaning products, snacks, pet food, and more. my only note would be that some of the staff are a bit unprofessional with customers and one new recruit mentioned how some of the existing staff were rude to them during their training. to my understanding, the management at this location is good.

Good! Seemed clean. Just didnt have what I was looking for. The deals are not big enough for me to consider going there more often. It is a good store to occasionally shop at. I dont have any negative comments, I just dont think thier deals are big enough in comparison to what they say.

Its the worst Ive ever seen it and the quality of the merchandise has gone down. The cashiers are nice but the store is dirty especially the floors. I like the way the store was arranged before they came up with the furniture in the front and all the other merchandise in the back. This applies to pretty much all the Big Lots stores that I have gone in in several States

Got a decent couch, good selection of goods.

Sorry didnt use Big Lots but good parking lot for my motorhome to get in well use Dollar Tree period.

Wonderful helpful workers store had all I wanted and more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Purchased a couch for our oldest son who was moving from NH to NY.. they held the couch until moving day. When we showed up at the store to pick it up on our way to NY.. they couldnt find it because they sold it again to someone else. When we ask to buy the floor model they wouldnt let us. When we asked for them to honor the price on another in stock couch they wouldnt. Terrible customer service. Moronic sales staff. Never go here!

I was blown away walking in there. I have not been in there in quite a few years because it was dirty and everything was everywhere. Kudos to a great job at revamping it! I will definitely be back.

I ordered a bed set for our new home, they said 6-8 weeks for delivery its been 13 weeks and was informed a week before we moved into our house that its on back order and will arrive 2 weeks after we move in, would have been nice to know after spending 1600.

No king size bed, even though online listed them as being in stock. Was told they would not be available until March. The associate ( Cassie) seemed like she wanted to spend her tme talking with other employees instead of doing her job. Honestly if you dont like customer service find a different job or learn how to fake it better.

Went to pick up a inexpensive couch. Had a hard time getting help. I picked one I liked then waited around to find out that they were out of stock. I was then told that pretty much everything is put on layaway and already spoken for. If you want anything here it probably will have to be ordered with a 2 week wait. I ended up picking up a similar couch at loves bedding and furniture cash and carry.

Store was clean and organized, employees where all helpful and polite. Im giving 3 stars cause item I purchased was supposed to be 25% off, got to register came up as full price. I said something that it was on sale, she went and looked, yes its on sale, but it will only allow me to take off 20%.

Was shopping for a sectional sofa for my new place. Checked on the website first to see what was in stock, but everything I was interested in was available only in store. Plus, who would make a sofa purchase without sitting on it?So, I made the 45 minute trek to the Claremont store. (I live in rural Vermont.)After testing everything in the store, I talked with an employee about payment options, what was in stock, etc. Unlike what the website stated, He mentioned that there were no delivery options available. I could rent a uhaul or enlist a friend I dont have and his non-existent truck. Bummer. He insisted the sofa I wanted was in stock and that hed look for me. I decided I would try and work it out. Id already made the trip.The employee came back from finding the sofa, mentioned it was in stock, and that we could proceed with the purchase. I explained that I was interested in the easy pay option that allows you to pay it off in 90 days. He said excellent, gave me the whole spiel, and prompted me to do the application.Before I could even do that, he came to the realization that I lived in Vermont, and the payment plan couldnt apply to me as I was a Vermont resident?I told this gentleman in the first three sentences I had driven 45 minutes from Vermont to look for a sofa! Apparently, it takes Big Lots! employees 20 minutes to process basic information!I was pretty clear with information, but that wasnt important. He was too focused on getting rid of his stock to listen to me. Shame!

Stood around waiting for employee in the bedding area for 10-15 minutes and no one showed up so left..

The store is nice. The food stuff is moderately priced but the rest is more expensive than other stores in the area.

Great quality furniture as a very reasonable price!! I have gone here on multiple occasions and have ALWAYS been greeted at the door by a smiling representive who is eager to assist you with your needs! Their home decor fireplaces are absolutely gorgeous!! My fiancee and i are currently saving up money to purchase one for our home! In addition to their fine quality furniture, they also have a large assortment of outdoor lawn decorations! Whether you want a nautical themed setting, or something simple, they have you covered! They also have all your grocery needs, as well! Food & drinks aplenty! Hope my rambling is helpful to folks! LOL :)

It needs more variety like some big lots carry clothing being that this town doesnt have much clothing choices it should be considered
