Great food, fast and friendly. Loved the scallops and haddock, loved the fries, loves the black raspberry ice cream for dessert. Highly recommend. Patio eating.

Got here at 8:20pm and the window/place was closed even though it wasn’t 830pm (closing time) as stated on the door.. if your sign says 830pm is closing time then you stay open till 830pm..

We stopped there on a bike ride for lunch. Was very busy, but prices were reasonable and the bacon double cheeseburger was very good! The fries were also worth the upgrade! Reminded me of the fair.We will be stopping again the next time we are in the area!

Dinner portions are decent. The ice cream is a little pricier than the competition and very small servings. Can only recommend eating dinner there.

Great service and outdoor seating and tables were being maintained by staff while my son and I were enjoying our ice cream. We ordered the cherry moose tracks. It was cherry with fudge swirl, chocolate covered cherries and chocolate chips. Tasted good and tangy from the cherries. If you have a hankering for ice-cream, stop by. Portion for a small were good.

You can never go wrong at this place. Large meal portions, great fries, ice cream. You dont find places like this every day.

Got 2 strip clam dinners and a whole clam dinner, 3 Pepsis. Order came to 60.00 dollars and then there was an almost 3 dollar charge for using the debit card.One of the strip clam dinners was overcooked. The grease needed changing bad! All the food was really dark. No golden brown there.It was ok. But wont order that from there again. Coleslaw was very waxy.On the other side the out door seating was a good thing. Because I love the outdoors.

Way overpriced and the clams did not taste fresh, but I believe thats because of the oil. The clams had more of a darker brown color like when cooked in old oil. I wont be returning.

Tried to use a gift card we received pre- pandemic. Was told they changed systems and they couldnt help us unless we had the receipt, which we do not as it was a gift we received pre- pandemic.Glad I had my debit card with me. Still got our ice cream!

Waited 20min inside and told to go back outside first person to speak to me said to go back outside and get in line. I asked are there any sings up for this? As I was going to eat inside? I did go outside as Im disabled and was not going to be treated like that! I went outside and got in my car and left bye forever

Okay place to get fried chicken strips and ice cream, but I would skip the seafood, dramatically overpriced there and the fried clam bellies were somewhat mushy. The buffalo chicken tenders were damn fine in my opinion. Also, the staff were nice and pleasant.

This place could be okay if the people working there had any customer service skills whatsoever. Ill start by saying the food and ice cream was decent. But, my fiance ordered two chili dogs ($10+) and after we paid was told they were out of chili. The woman offered to put something else on the dogs, but he was not interested in mushrooms/onions and asked for a refund for what we paid for the chili. They refunded the total cost of the dogs and brought him no food at all! What the hell? So, when my dinner was delivered I walked back up to get a box and was OBVIOUSLY ignored by one woman until I called in and asked for a box from the other woman. We were warned against going here because of the prices and lack of service... We should have heeded warnings. We wont go back!

For $9 youd think it would include a drink.Umm. It was okay. Pretty expensive for the quality. We had 3 different meals and only one was really good. Every little thing was nickel and dimed (extra sauce when... It wasnt extra?) The atmosphere was kinda nice but the music was way loud. The people were kind at least. And when it comes to the ice cream you get way more for your buck. The nostalgia was good but idk... I just wasnt impressed really.Kid cheeseburger? Dry, kinda tasteless. Chill dog. Kinda tasted like old... Just old. (It was fresh Im sure, it just didnt taste it) but their tuna melt was bomb as all get out and I liked their sweet potato fries. And again the staff was friendly. But its ridiculous the price I paid for what we got. That itself wasnt worth it.

Supposedly the fried whole clams are fresh but they taste like theyre only frozen breading with no real clam flavor.

The new owners really improved the atmosphere. There service has definitely improved as well. Its a great place to take the kids, with plenty of in and outdoor seating.

NICE IMPROVEMENTS! New washers that are quiet. New flooring. Very up to date color scheme. Youd have gotten 5 stars if one of the dryers fan belts didnt come off and make huge noise! Ill be back.

The staff havent been friendly on the 3 occasions weve been there and why do you have chocolate based peanut butter frappe??..its supposed to be vanilla based to taste the peanut butter..js.. Other than that food is pretty good.

Very good. Could use a bit better attention to detail when chopping the cabbage for the Cole slaw, some pieces extremely skinny and short others were very long and chunky. Some one in my party felt you should be able to substitute whole belly clams instead of clam strips even if you have to up charge.

Let me start, always love the food and ice cream. Prices seemed fair last year. Not surprised they went up some but $2.25 for a fountain soda? No refills? Upgrade costs from chips to onion rings seems a bit high even though they are delicious. Burger, quesadilla, onion rings upgrade, and two fountain drinks for $30? Ill be back for ice cream but dinner is out.

In recent years the ice cream experience has gone down hill. There are fewer flavors, often the candy and brownies seem stale and I’ve gotten freezer burned vanilla ice cream before. The thing that turns me off the most is that they refuse to give you tap water! Most ice cream places have a water jug or free water, especially since ice cream makes kids thirsty. They told me they “don’t have tap water because it’s seasonal.”

Why do I have to have fries with my order? I was told I didn’t, but would have to pay for them and not get them. Same for the drink. Don’t know if the food is worth the price, but $6 for a hotdog is not going to happen. Too many other good places to take my business to put up with this nonsense. Hey, Scoop City-not everybody wants fries with their order!!

Four adults eating there today. We found the french fries to be overdone. The hamburger to me boring. The scallops to taste like a block of salt. In mostly the prices we incurred equal that of a sit-down lunch environment. Prices are very high. Dont plan to go back in the near future. September 21, 2021 their sign days closed for the season. What season?Go to 98 much better food for much better prices.

We waited at window outside while others who arrived (2 separate parties) went inside and were helped right away.Chicken Quesadilla very dry. Chicken was tough, some not even chewable.Another customer returned to windows to ask for the tarter sauce as well as sweet &sour which were not put onto tray. He was told, (rather rudely) that they WERE put on the tray... if he wanted more he was to pay.** rating of F. for customer service

RUDIEST BUSINESS -WORST SERVICEIf you read other reviews this seems to be atrend at this place.The worst customer service I have ever seen. Asked for some water when I arrived and told no even after I offered to pay for it. Then I placed an order and paid $65.00 for over cooked sea food. After we got rhe food I wanted more tarter sauce and when I asked for extra tarter sauce I was asked to hang on a minute, I was ignored for 10 minutes stand at the window watching the woman I asked while she started making milkshakes while I stood there. So I asked again and again the same woman asked me to hang on another minute, again waited another 10 minutes while they continued to ignore me and assisted new arrivals taking new orders, I asked another girl who works there and she didnt even turn to look at me. I asked them if there was a problem getting tarter sauce and they just looked at me, one actually laughed.....until I finally asked for my money back. To which they responded to me that I had enough tarter sauce and didnt need another one. Then they refused to refund my order until I walked back to my table gathered the now cold food and brought it back up refusing to leave without my refund. They finally refunded me after customers started making comments about my wait for sauce, and told me not to return, lol like that would ever happen! Stay away horribly rude people running this place, food is over cooked and over priced!

The health dept needs to inspect their kitchen and food handling practices.The owner believes in absolutely NO WASTE at all.So much so the husband and wife would dig food out of the trash for the cooks to use.Like lettuce.tomatoes,pickleshamburger buns, bacon,chicken,burgers.Stuff that would accidently fall on the floor during service.The owners would dig through the dumpster after hours for foodfood containers,etc.Wash it off and told the workers to use it.Little plastic cups you would get tartar sauce,ketchup,etcwould be dug out of the trash and dumpster at nite.And WASHED and reused the next day.Talk about being SUPER frugal.Look up the word frugal and you will see their face.Told to put the hamburger press on the burger while cooking.??!! That removes all the juices.Told to cover and put HOT food in the cooler before it cools to 70°.So ridiculous and so UNSAFE PROCEDURES.People are going to get seriously SICK!!WAKE UP!! DONT EAT ANYTHING THERE!!

Fish tasted like nothing, even the grease, of which there was a copious amount. Yuk! The Cole slaw was equally tasteless. 16.00!!? Wont go there to eat again. The last time I was there I asked if they have a thick milkshake, they said yes. I asked for one of those, it wasnt. $6.00! For a watery glass of melted ice cream. From now on will eat in Charlestown. Fear places but excellent food!

Best onion rings ever and a great ice cream selection

Tried to order a cherry for my daughter today after I had forgotten to ask for one for her when I ordered, my daughter already felt bad because I had promised her she could have one. Asking the young lady at the counter if I could Please have a cherry. she just said No.. My daughter looked at me super sad, because this lady must not have known I was asking for her, and thought shed had done something to not deserve it. I then asked her if I could pay for one, and after needing to ask the manager when I inquired if I could pay for one she decided to charge me and extra $0.39 after I spent nearly $10.00 on ice cream.

Service is horrible, cashier is extremely rude I ordered a water for now, and a milkshake with my meal . Milkshake came out 10 min before my dry boring burger . The milkshake was just about pure milk and verry soupy .I took about 2 more sips while waiting to ask for a soda instead of shake, just to make sure the bottom wasent thicker . I patently waited outside at window then went inside and waited another 5 mins. finally when my food was there I told them it was all milk and did not not want it and asked for Pepsi instead . She said well you drank some of it so you will have to pay for the Pepsi. I took about 3-4 small sips of my 5$ shake to be sure it wasent good . Wich it was not . Now you want to charge me for again for .99 cents worth of fountain soda . Shes like well you drank soe you should of said something earlier . Ummm I tried to wait at 2 different windows to get your attention. She than proceeded to say well you still drank some . My mind was so blown I was ready to walk out. She than offers me a kid soda smallest 1 they have, for my 5$ ......last time I eat here . Other time my frozen burger was rare and not cooked at all . I did like their chicken caesar wraps . But not worth dealing with a grubby looking cashier that thinks your trying to get something for free and insults you . When they mess up. Might be her style but its not mine I just want what I overpayed for
