My mother has been a customer since 2011. She left her car for service at 3:00pm. Candace assure her it would be done by in 3 hours. She called at 6pm to see if her car would ready. No one answered and would go straight to voicemail. No one communicated with her to let her know the car would be stay overnight. We get there at 7pm everyone in service is gone and no managers are able to get her car. How is that possible that they cant open or have access when there is master keys to every building. I am highly disappointed. My mother works at 5am so who is responsible for her having to miss work because no one communicated with us that the car was going to stay overnight? Horrible customer service here and no one can give us answers. Who is responsible? Has this happened to someone else?

Id give them negative stars if I could.... This dealership unscrupulously took advantage of my 21 year old stepdaughter who unfortunately went by herself to buy her first car. Instead of making a reasonable sale/commission, they ditched whatever integrity they may have had and negotiated a horrible, horrible deal. Yes, I know caveat emptor - but really?? I hope their desire to make this sale, and this review below which Im copying from my mother-in-law (the buyers grandma) will cost them at least one, if not more, future sales:Claremont Toyota is a business without integrity. My granddaughter made the mistake of going there by herself to buy a car. (Yes, it is her first purchase and she is young and naive). Taking advantage of her is an understatement. She traded in a 2008 Prius and put down $3,000.00. Her amount due after the down payment was $25,000 plus for a Toyota Corolla Le. On top of that the salesman set her up with a lease instead of her purchasing the car. I know the company’s is there to make money…but to whos expense? Beware!

Have been going to this place for two years and its a disappointing experience each time. Took the car for a maintenance this morning and requested to add a car wash. The response from the service consultant (Candace) was the machine is broken. My husband mentioned that its been two years and each time we get a similar response on car wash. Candace did not take responsibility, instead was defensive, and rude. She has no investment or commitment to her job and does not have customer service or conflict resolution skills. They then took the car in and made us wait for 3hours. When my husband talked to the manager (Tony) he didnt seem like he cared either. So really if you want to complain do it at your risk cuz they dont care about their customers.This place was always known for bad customer service and will continue to have horrible service because they dont train their personnel on addressing customer issues. Congratulations on losing a customer and please continue your horrible service.

Worst service department in this location. I rather drive to another Toyota dealership for service. The first time I came for 5k made an appointment and still took over 4 hours when I was told 2 hours when I scheduled my appointment. Today, I arrive at 7am. Was told to plan to leave my car all day. Thats ridiculous.Then, I receive a email from the responder. ZUPE... Asked to be contact...still waiting...@Toyota of Glendora is amazing!!! Got my service done within an hour of arrival. Worst service that I have experienced. Was told 45 to 60 minutes and more than 2 hours and they havent finished. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Have gotten way much better service from Ontario but I know my fault for trying to trust this service place.

Dont ever get your car serviced here. I really love my Camry purchase this year and after 5,000 miles, brought it here to get the complimentary service. Was told it would take 1 hour 30. Waited OVER 4 HOURS!!!! No oil change, no wash, manager left for the day. Ridiculous…. absolutely horrible service. They apologized and gave me a business card to call, but I dont want to come back here EVER again! Listen to other reviewers and stay away from the horrible service here!
I recently visited this dealership to purchase a Rav and I would just like to say the customer service here is horrible! The seller named MOHAMMAD was so rude and pushy to me and my uncle to purchase this car. We were trying to get a lower APR but he just stated that it was...let me repeat A WASTE OF TIME!!! I never felt so insulted in my life! A waste of time? I am a customer who has been to this dealer and purchased two cars before. If I am a waste of time and a bother to you I will take my money to another dealership where they will appreciate me and my time. After I confronted what he just said to me he then tried switch his words and stated that I misunderstood, but I have two witnesses that can clarify what was said. A car purchase is a BIG DEAL! I understand you are trying to make commission but I am the one will be stuck with this car for the REST OF MY LIFE! Not you MOHAMMAD! Never again! Claremont toyota needs to retrain their staff and especially MOHAMMAD!!!!!! I have no regrets writing this review because I am angry with the service I received from him and the dealership. If I could give this dealership a zero I would. Never again. They completely destroyed the good image I had of them from my previous purchases.
Had one of the best experiences here with the sales and finance people. They are very understanding and supportive in each step of the process. I definitely recommend their staff and services. There is no place to put 0 starts on this Toyota Claremont Dealer parts... after my mother payed 607.00 to buy an original part... they sold her a grey mirror passenger side insted of a white color mirror... she also pay for installation 140.00... and they told her that she could take it to a DIFFERENT PLACE so they could paint it white.. what a shame taking advantage of a senior... what a rip-off?

Bought a (minimally) used 2019 Corolla Hatchback SE recently from Claremont Toyota.Overall, we are very pleased with our new ride and the purchase experience we had through the dealer. Brian did a great job of keeping in contact in contact with us prior to us coming down. We came from 2hrs away. Everything was straight forward except for the walk around. We did get the opportunity to walk around and look at the car, sit in it and drive it. I just wish they’d shown us the minor cosmetic damage there was on the car. Instead…. We ended up finding when we got home. Not a dealbreaker, I just think absolutely clarity should be at the forefront of a dealership’s core characteristics. What we bought was a “Certified Used Car”, which means it went through an in-depth review process before resale. This leads me to the conclusion that the dealer absolutely knew about the cosmetic damage, yet negated to tell us during the sale. Anyways, when u tally everything up… I’d still recommend Claremont Toyota. The beat the heck out of our local Toyota dealer for sure. Try ‘em out… just do a more thorough walk-around than we did.

I purchased a Camry which is now my 3rd bought car and no dealer has helped me as well as Claremont Toyota, I have to give it up to Mickey, he helped me find the perfect car and had the best hospitality and was very helpful with the different options I could go with in regards to getting the car. Then afterwards, I was helped by Joseph to close out the deal and he made the process so easy was super super easy. I have had to wait 4-8 hours at other dealers. I was out of there in within 3 hours I was home with a brand new car!!! I would recommend Mickey to everyone of my friends and Family and hope they are assisted by Joseph afterwards. I got a new Camry this past weekend of 1/6/21 and it has been up to date the best car buying experience i have had. Diego and Pedro were the gentleman that helped me out and were very curious and respectful. Not pushy at all like other car salesman I have encountered in the past. I came with my brother in law the next day and he bought a car as well. Thats how I am, if a business treats me well and gives me the best deal possible I myself will bring them business and I plan on bringing my parents back since they are in the market to buy a new car. The hospitality I was shown here with my wife is amazing! Luis Medina was my sales rep and after explaining to him my situation he helped me get to where I needed to be. He was friendly, relatable, respectful, and overall a great quality salesman I can see why he’s the internet manager. After getting a deal in motion he took us to financing where I meant THE G.O.A.T Henry Figueroa !! Truly both of these men helped me get into the car I wanted. Henry helped me out so much and got me a great financing plan with a great care package! They made me feel like I really won and got the best deal. I had a Honda that I bought a year ago to trade in and at Honda they could not touch the experience I had here. Honda was horrible but Luis Medina and Henry Figueroa at Claremont Toyota make me so proud to be apart of the Toyota family. He made my experience a good experience. He made himself available to my numerous calls before going to the dealership. He was cordial, he was prompt, he was friendly, he was not a pushy salesman. After I purchased my Venza from him he took time and sat with me in the SUV and went over all the features. I felt like I was with Family. I truly recommend Mr. Bruce Wright Fleet/Internet Sales Manager from Claremont Toyota.As far as Finance Department, I had a great experience as well. I was out of there in less than 45 minutes. They are very sophisticated and instead of signing on paper you sign on a huge tablet which is a size of a desk. I bought a used 2014 Toyota sienna at premium cost a month ago. The temporary tag is expired and I still havent received my paper registration. When I call multiple times and hold multiple times. The lady I finally talked to asked me a few questions and then promptly said done you can put the tag on the car. Which is the worst advice seeing as how its illegal to put a tag on a car without a paper registration.... folks will say anything to get you to go away. Even advising someone to break the law... not impressed at all ...

I dont normally go to dealerships to shop for a car, so I was hesitant to go. I didnt want to get stuck talking to some pushy salesman. Garrett Woolford helped me last weekend. I was looking for a used Toyota Highlander and after a quick chat, he knew that they didnt have what I was looking for. He still continued to talk to us for probably a good 45min or so teaching us about the highlander and letting me ask ALL of the questions. He was super helpful and intelligent! I keep checking back on the site to see if they have what I need because Id like to buy a car from him. Crossing my fingers!

Worst service ever, they refused to do warranty work on my vehicle and made every excuse in the book to refuse service. Just because my vehicle was not purchased from them, they tried blaming the original dealer which is 100 miles away which they fixed in 30 minutes and proved it was covered under warranty. Just the inconvenience of forcing to go to the dealer where I purchased so far away made this dealer visit a nightmare also added dealer notes so ever dealer refused to work on my car afterwards. I have never been treated so badly at any other dealer ever buyer beware I will never recommend or return here.

Came there in 2016 to purchase a carI was trapped in the manager office with the manager and the sales man to push hard on me to sign for a credit i did not wanted since i wanted to pay cash. They also ran a credit score without me understanding the implication ( foreign student at the time) again i said upfront that i would not do credit.Very glad, i was rational enough to keep « no » to the présure and finally left.Very Unpleasant experience, i would recommend toyota longo instead

Bad service, information and overpriced in top of the sticker price.Went in today in search of buying a new vehicle. This salesperson came with a greeting face, after giving me false advertising of why the vehicle was overpriced, the salesperson changed his face and didnt want to speak to me anymore and just talked with my wife. Thats not professional at all.That is one of many reasons I and my family stop buying vehicles from Claremont toyota.Now we rather go to Crown toyota on Ontario.

Waste of time went twice because they said they would work with me and didnt even try to work out a deal. After two hours and second time coming to the dealer they brought it down $99 dollars. Very disappointed in the dealership and just felt plain old disrespected. When I thought we had a deal they just came to me acted like my offer was going to be accepted and said no we wont go down take it or leave it and walked away. Wouldnt recommend this dealership waste of time for me and my family.
My wife and I just purchased a used car from these people and the car has some obvious defects that are more unreasonable for a used car than the norm issues which should have been caught when the car was accepted as a trade by its previous owner. This dealership also rolled our deal without actually having an approval from a bank which I find to be grossly negligent. Our sales man was a very good guy I highly recommend Jacob, but unless youre willing to take home stress and anxiety dont leave here with a new or used car unless you have an actual approval from a bank!!! 🤬😡🤬😡🤮 Entire situation makes me want to VOMIT

Typical shady car salesmens practices.Will tell you one price over the phone and not honor it in person.Claremont Toyota has gone downhill since they changed ownership.Used to be an honest and reputable dealership.DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO PAY STICKER PRICE.They will tack on 5-10K Mark ups. They will waste your time by talking with their manager and financial advisor to see if they can do better.Go to Longo or Crown/John Elway where they will treat you right and not rip you off.
Went for an oil change, which is suppose to be free(included when the vehicle was purchased). They then forced me to pay for other services, inorder to get my oil change. Refused to change the oil without inspecting wind shield wipers, switching around the wheels, etc, for like 70 dollars. Said something about it being mandatory for them to do every 5k miles, and that I had to do it, or not have the oil changed.

Warning customer service there is NONE I had my vehicle there over a week nothing was accomplished. I took it in fora ck engine light issue internal problems 53k shoukd be covered under power train I was told a rep has to review I waited over a week for this rep to email tony Sanchez back I was so frustrated with the whole process, I always had to make the call whats going on with my car. Tony never had a answer all he said is in waiting fora rep. I explained I have no car im borrowing a vehicle he could care less week he said it is what it is and basically deal with it. Wow im not sure if thats something you should tell your customer. Very unprofessional. So needless to say I removed my car from there and I am going to another dealership that has more concern for me and my vehicle. I did not buy my 2007 Yaris at this dealership, but I have always used it for service. I really appreciate the quality of my experiences there over the years. Service is quick, thorough, and excellent. I was apprehensive about the change in ownership, but I took my car in on April 16th, 2021 and had the same great experience. My car has 230,000 miles on it and I credit the service department at Claremont Toyota that it is still going strong.
Lies from sales rep, John and Muhammed, regarding the price of the car. They agreed on one price in the negotiations, but put in the paper twice higher. Please be respectful and honest with clients.
Went to purchase a vehicle, negotiated a price or were trying to negotiate a price with the salesman who was actually very pleasant. He left and came back with a supervisor, I think his name may have been LUIS who sat down and told my husband and I that both cars we were interested in now had mark ups. A Toyota RAV4 hybrid had price on window for 32000 and this supervisor lets us know that since this is a hot car they are marking it up 2000 so the original price is not what the sale price is, new price is 34k. He then moves on to the Toyota Venza (loved this car, test drove it) and says although the sticker price on the window says 32400 he is now marking it up 5000. When I asked why that was not posted on the sheet printed on the window he says they are working on printing that out as we speak and the one on the window is wrong. He says he can strike us a deal and sell it to us with only a 3000 mark up to help close the deal!!! My husband and I were completely confused. We had already ran numbers with the sticker price, payment and down payment with the sales person based on the sheet on the window dealer asking price. I would not recommend this place. We wasted time and I’m so glad we did not authorize them to run our credit until we had a verbal final price. It would have dinged my credit and just to be surprised that they have hidden mark ups from 2000 to 5000 which were not advertised. If advertised I would have not given the cars a second look and wasted my time. Salesman Fabrizio was completely professional and pleasant but they manager/supervisor(not sure) Luis was unprofessional, rude and ruined a sale for his salesman.

I took my car to this dealer and i drop it of Tuesday morning and they couldn’t figure it out where was the leak on my Moonroof so they keep it over night and next day i call nobody was able to answer the phone so finally i reach to someone that help me talk to the service advisor name Scott silvana he claimed he was really busy but when I show up it was on the phone laughing with a customer and making jokes,, and over the phone he told me that they Couldn’t fine the leak that i have to go to the dealer and show them where,, so basically they asked me to do the job for them,, They charge $140 for the diagnostic in the car and they couldn’t do it,, The least they can do is call the customer and tell them they cannot find the problem and ask him to pick up the car, but they’re really really busy so if you’re looking for a dealer that can diagnose your car look somewhere else Because in Monclair to your other so busy they cannot even give you a courtesy call
