The employees were good to work with when I needed to interact with them. The facility was nice and clean, I used the climate controlled unit. I had the storage unit for two years and my bill went up $100 over that time. My rate was higher than the listed price online. Be aware that you cannot get a fixed price and the rates will continually increase on a fixed schedule.

Lindsey is the most cheerful, happy go lucky person I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Units and area is clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend.

The front desk woman was absolutely wonderful (her name has escaped me but she was just the sweetest). We had the easiest time setting up a storage unit lease and moving our things in same day!! They are extremely affordable as well. I would highly recommend Compass for moving, storage or any of your other needs!!

If you are looking for a short term storage solution, I highly recommend. Their facility is secure and clean. They use mouse traps outside of every unit. The staff is also very nice and easy to work with. Word of warning though, I had my unit for 18 months (due to needing to relocate due to COVID) and the price of my unit went from $70 to $145 a month in that time. Every few months I would get a notice that the price was going up. So if you need storage for more than 3-6 months, just beware.

I had 24 hr service because I have a business. At night is when I do most of my work. My car broke down and I was stuck all night long so they took my 24 hr access away. They are to high of priced and I seen two roaches while there . Thumbs down never will I again rent from them.

The facility is clean, well maintained, and staff is very friendly. the only issue I have is that the monthly fee is increased every 7 or 8 months by nearly 10%. I can understand an annual increase, maybe 5%

The units are nice and clean with easy access. Rented a 10×15 and 1st month was free. Great price with ways of earning your admin fee back by recommending a new tenant and not to mention the staff is wounderful!!! Melanie I spoke to on the phone after I made a reservation online and she made it easy and fast and was very informative and just super sweet! Wanda I got to meet in person and she made things quick knowing I had 2 toddlers with me and also was super easy to talk to! Ive only just begun renting but I already have a great 1st impression! The only thing that isnt a huge deal is their hours are not 24/7 but it is open until 10pm which is not bad at all and later than alot of locations I checked on. I highly recommend Compass on Wilmer to anyone in need of storage space in the area!

A well lit, clean and attractive, secure looking facility prompted me to check out Compass Self Storage when I was in need of a facility to store my extra things. I found after calling all the nearby competitors that Compass was also the best value for my needs. I feel confident that my treasures will be safe and secure there. A good deal and a great place run by superior professionals.

Every interaction with the staff was warm and professional. The spaces I rented were perfectly clean and I felt safe when I entered the property at night. All around - great!

Compared to similar nearby places Compass does a relatively good job. Despite the all too frequent increases in rack rate they’ve managed to keep my business over a long period of time. However in their effort to keep my business, each time they raise a rate and I plan on moving out, Compass offers a lower price but has made it necessary for me to move all my equipment from one locker to another. This has occurred many, many times. It’s a thick headed way to do business. Increases should follow our economy and occur once a year ONLY. Compass needs to install a bathroom for tenants or at least a Porta Potty.

I have only good things to say about Compass Self Storage. From the first, their staff has been helpful, pleasant, accommodating. Ive been in twice in the two months Ive been renting a storage area and both times they have helped me with my questions and tried successfully to assist me. From Mike, Susan and Melanie . . . they all are extremely friendly and helpful. Also, my son rents one of their storage areas. During the recent torrential rains, I went to check to see if any water had gotten into his storage area. None whatsoever. I no longer have any worries that the items placed in their storage bins will be safe and secure.

I went in to Compass Self Storage yesterday to cancel my monthly storage unit. Only cancelling because I store a sporty car and now that the weather is good, its time to bring it home. I will be returning in the fall to rent another storage unit at Compass because they treat me so well whenever I go there, Ive never had any problems with my unit; i.e. water in unit, burglary, etc., the price is comparable to others in our area and its close to my home. I will miss seeing Susan when I go in as she is retiring. Happy retirement Susan!

Price escalates so much Im trying to get organized and get put of my unit but it is good option for short term. Price keeps hiking if u stay. Staff nice. Clean but price is now unnaceptable after 5 years and no working on reduction for a good customer.

Stopped in to get a visual on the size of storage I thought I wanted/needed. BJ was friendly and super helpful! I got the size I needed at the price I saw online. BJ answered all my questions and gave me all the information I would need about the storage unit. He even had an inexpensive heavy duty lock I could purchase right away - more convenient than going somewhere else to buy one and come back.

Very upset with an experience I just had with an employee. Their platform locked me out of my account, and despite attempting to reset my password several times, I was not able to access my account. As a result, my payment was late. Despite, however, my past months payments being on time, the employee I spoke with was extremely rude and refused to remove the $25 late fee. Disappointed with the quality of service provided.

My son picked up 15 ft truck on Sunday morning to pack up my fathers belongings. He drove the truck 9 miles to my fathers home from Compass, we packed it and locked it. On Monday morning when getting ready to leave, he noticed the fuel gauge at 1/16 full. He drove 1 mile and put in 28.123 gallons of gas ($66.90) into the gas tank. It was my sons fault that he did not verify the fuel level before he left the U-Haul. However, when calling Compass after the move, the answer was basically tough and there was no discussion. My only proof is a gas receipt from United Dairy Farmers for 28.123 gallons for driving less than 10 miles. I would suggest that you avoid companies with this type of attitude and be sure to verify every detail on the contract as they will not discuss a problem you might have had.The truck rode well and we had no problems with the return except that they too were no help in the gas dispute and referred us to Compass U Haul.

What nightmare..they raise my rate..they required by State of Florida law..send registered letter.. Compass can not just send letter thru the mail..I never got it..I called local storage..will not give me manger phone number..The agent for Compass does not know...corporate office phone IN OHIO..number address nothing..what they just did is illegal...I would not go there at all...to raise rate ..they are just greedy..to not give me main office phone number.WHAT ARE THEY HIDING ?....DO NOT GO THERE...

Despite some of the negative reviews posted so far, our experience with the local Compass Storage location has been great - especially the efficient, friendly service weve received from Keara in the front office. We rented a small unit to start and have added a larger climate-controlled space as we ready our home for sale before moving to a new house. The facility is clean, the rates are better than other similar storage locations (none of which is as convenient to our neighborhood) and the security appears to be adequate for a facility of this kind. For short-term temporary storage needs, we would recommend this Compass location to others and would suggest they try to deal with Keara whenever possible.
