Upon recommendation, we visited this business to browse and found a display I really LOVED in their front office area. I inquired on how to order this most beautiful door lockset Id ever seen for my new homes front door. The kind lady looked it up and informed me it was discontinued. I was disappointed but there was one right there on display, so I asked to purchase the display item at full price. I was informed the owner never sold display items. I said I understood to be polite but I really did not. That was July 2021. It is now September and I have been searching for this lockset and have found that it is made in Lithuania. Perhaps a difficult item to order and therefore the reason why this company didnt want to deal with it. I have tried to find another company that will sell this to me, or a second hand market listing, but remain unsuccessful. It pains me to think Norwood Hardware might be trashing this item just on principle when I am willing to purchase it. Through my research I have found similar thumblatches on the second hand market and now know this item is quite pricy but I am still willing to buy it if only Norwood Hardware would let me. If it fits my door and you can make a nice profit, why would you not make the sale??

Great showroom, friendly employees. Cathy went above and beyond to help me out. I was in a major bind with an order I had placed elsewhere. Cathy was able to find the part I needed and truly saved a major issue. I appreciate her efforts to go above and beyond.

This is a store full of high end hardware and finishes: front door hardware, kitchen cabinet knobs and pulls, kitchen faucets, and bathroom fixtures. This is not Lowes or Home Depot. You wont find cheap stuff here. They have a nice showroom with lots of displays. This is a great place to go if you want high quality fixtures.

I don’t think it was that tight. It may be a different story in the morning when the employees arrive. LOL.
