Northside Hardware at the place to go both for the hardware you need and for the advice that you cant do without. The staff are ready to do all they can to help. I once brought in a bathtub valve and they worked with me to disassemble it to the point it could be repaired. They are great people.

This is a business of historic note in Northside and the place to go for professional knowledgeable fast caring service and advice for all your Hardware needs. I have patronize this business for many years and have always found what I need with their help.Today I found that my kitchen drain was leaking and it just took one trip for Carl and Nancy to fit me out with everything I need and within an hour the repair was done and Im back in business.Another unique point is that if youre walking your dog and you remember something that you need then you have the option of walking into the business and asking Carl or Nancy if you can bring your dog in with you and they will usually say yes unless it is too crowded. Its an added benefit for those who want to walk their dog and Take care of a hardware purchase Also.

This hardware store is exactly what a neighborhood hardware store should be. The same people behind the counter every damn time you go in. They know you by name. They are courteous and eager to help you get in and out. We love Kevin and his crew and they go above and beyond to get you what you need when you need it. You may pay a couple bucks more than the big box stores but its so worth it. I love this place. A Northside gem.

Here is another gem of the city. Mr. Bill was one of a kind he had anything you could think of in that store and he knew where EVERYTHING was at. Patron since a kid would come in and hed verbally tell me where to go to get what I need while helping the next 2 consumers behind me.Never had an issue sending me over to Hopple Street cause he didnt have what I needed in stock. Mr. Bill knew so much he would overload you with information! He was family too.It warms my heart to know the owner honor Mr. Bill so well by continuing to give great service, amazing comsumer service, and friendly personal howdy neighbor kindness.

Went there today. Not a true hardware issue, but I had tried other places to help get an item opened that was difficult for me. They fixed it. Charge so minimal that it was almost like no charge. Great customer service. Good bye Home Depot, Lowes and Ace. Ive found my hardware store and I plan to pass the word. I just love my Northside and Clifton neighborhood. I pray we stay free of ALL big box stores and developers. Thank you so much Northside Hardware. The watch is working beautifully. Ill be back soon.

Independent hardware stores rule. It is great to have a close place to pick up a forgotten or unexpected part when tackling weekend projects. My last purchase, a toilet seat, hours before out of town guests arrived, with no time to spare.

I have been here twice(Newer to the area), blown away both times. Tonight I couldnt start my mower, and took my spark plug with me to the same guy who was there on my first visit. He said its not your plug, asked me a few questions and told me what I needed to do to fix it on my own. Went home, followed his directions and the mower fired up. He just won a customer for life! Instead of making a few bucks on me with my lawn mower, he told me how to fix it on my own. I highly recommend Northside Hardware.
